But okay I hope this is the last reset. I think the writer is gonna show us that no matter what he will fall for her again. As long as he doesn't die again or this will be as tragic as Sisyphus. 

By the way this Na young can have so much money to rent a studio and buy nice clothes. She didn't bother to help her family in their recent financial troubles. 

@Nohamahmoud2002 @ktcjdrama I am hoping to get a bit more of the back story for Woori. There's been speculation  that WR's bio mum is Hyun Sung's mother. Omg they'll be brothers for real . Not sure if I like the idea. Perhaps HS's mum was forced to give up WR or something and made to marry HS's dad. Hence that's why she's always hated the dad.

I did consider Greece this year for the my mid year break but at the end I decided to visit my friend in Edinburgh and will extend a few days in Brussels & Amsterdam, and will be headed there in June.  Anyway do share your Greece itinerary - I had a headache deciding which island to pick. LOL

QOT - eh I don't ship them IRL ahahahah...but I know there were plenty of people who did. I don't see anything out of the ordinary in their offscreen interactions. 

As to BF , the show is a sci-fi so I think I was alright with the direction of the show. But @SilverMoonTea was traumatised. You can read the thread when you are free. It is hilarious

Go-Go Squid - I am struggling but somehow got to eps 6 .  A mutual on twitter did say that she really liked it, so I will see if I can still power through. The FL character is very young for the ML as in she seems so overly naive. LOL....I know a lot of fans then liked their chemistry. It isn't bad but I don't really feel it is that strong though I know they are reuniting to do a historical show.

The confession was just lovely - not conditions attached. He just wanted her to know that someone in this part of the world truly likes her. I was crying here.

JunHo is truly a smart cookie - yes raised by Hye Jin! It's not only book smarts but he's very strategic in his thinking. He knows it isn't easy to break into this industry as a teacher since he's yet to build a reputation. I won't go as far as to say he's using HyeJin but proposing a joint lecture is sure a great way to leverage on her reputation and her expertise. Of course I expected their boss to agree since this is an interesting proposition and as expected HyeJin didn't agree to it. Not at first. For one, being the head teacher she'd look like she's showing favoritism since she's never done this for the other teachers.  Secondly, the pie in this industry is getting smaller and smaller what with SK's low birth rates that in time to come JH would be her competitor. Why would she want to pass on her trade secrets? I concur since it is unlikely for me to so as well.

But JH is not one to give up easily -  I appreciate that determination which I feel will come in very handy when the going gets tough be it at the work place or parental objections to the romance in the future ( I can see that coming). So he got her to agree to it if he could come up with good reason. And he did. As good and as popular as HyeJin is, there are also plenty of great Korean language tutors out there. Her Achilles heel comes in the form of a white hair lady who is also the Director (Choi)  of a rival academy. HyeJin has never been able to recruit students from one of the top boys' school because of this lady. They all went to her. She's pretty much at the top of the food chain where Korean language tutors are concerned.

So with Director Choi also going on the offensive to recruit students who usually would have taken HyeJin's classes, HJ decided that JH's propositon wasn't so bad. It would make a great story for marketing with how a successful student now comes full circle to teach with his former teacher. Once HJ okayed on this, then we had all the cute scenes of them preparing for the class together without being caught. From a romance development perspective , I like it since it gives them plenty of moments together. I like how much JunHo makes her smile. A lot of unintended flirting is already going on though I don't think HyeJin quite realises it yet.

As expected, once the promotions of their joint class went out, there was a buzz within the academy. Colleagues aren't too pleased but HyeJin promises them that if she brings in student from the schools that they have yet to conquer, it benefits everyone too. I think am abit concerned with the other new teacher - Miss Nam who may spell trouble as I think she will feel this being unfair as she has more experience. 

For JH it does come with a cost as these classes are offered for free ( so am not sure if he will be paid) but I suppose sample classes are needed for someone who is unknown in the industry. For HyeJin, this will be at the cost of her reputation. JH is not proven as a teacher if you ask me even if he did well in the interview plus it will be interesting to see if such a marketing tactic would work. 

Regardless, I am excited to see them work together. Plus this lil competition or war of nerves between two rival tutors is fun to watch.

@rocher22 I miss Meet Yourself.  I have just started Go Go Squid. Not quite feeling the show after 2 episodes  since I think the writing/ directing and some of the acting  etc doesn't seem as nuanced as  MY and WLIS. Plus esports is not my thing. But I think FL is cute and I will try to power on with LiXian's handsome face

As expected JunHo’s parents were not happy with his decision to switch to teaching . I can understand the logic of all East Asian parents who still glorify the idea of working in a big company since it spells job security & social prestige.  But I agree with JunHo that times are changing & that there’s a ceiling to what he can earn & how far he can go. Plus as we all know no one is indispensable in any organisation. So for me you shouts do what makes you happy . 
 

Hye Jin too  for similar reasons felt it was a waste for him to quit. I appreciate her concerns since I know first hand the world of private education isn’t any easier & not everyone makes it to the top like her.  What I didn’t like was she overstepped her boundaries in discouraging him to the extent she voted against his employment with the academy despite him having a lot of potential. Anyway her boss called her out on it, and she realised she was crossing some lines she shouldn’t have & apologised to JH. Though she did tell him not to be too naive thinking this industry is a piece of cake. She wanted him to go in with his eyes open - which I appreciated

Anyway JH is now hired & the boss sees this  as an interesting opportunity to promote thr academy given that JH is their former star student who’s now back here to teach . I do look forward to more interactions between the leads as they have great chemistry.

Hyun Sung is also delusional....how can he "force" marriage on SJ when she's clearly depressed?  ...Anyway these two will gang up to make our leads' lives even more difficult. But you know whom I think is even worse than NY, her mother & even HS? For me it's the father. Cheated on his wife and then never truly realise the trauma that SJ has. And then he cannot even stand up to his wife. 

As a psychiatrist herself, I wish she'd just get some help. She's clearly going through depression. I understand it can be overwhelming with WR's family who are very warm and thoughtful paying her so much attention. But I hope she realises their good intentions and at least listens to WR. 

May I know if anyone here has watched 20th Century Girl? Does he have a lot of screen time? 

By the way, they better not give me stupid open endings where the leads smile at each other from afar. I will be so annoyed given all the tears I shed in this show. So in the pre-release what is the time line?

By the way, I knew they had worked together in some old drama but it's really sweet how close friends they are. Someone must have seen this and casted them together again. I hope this drama doesn't waste their chemistry, and give us more scenes of them. Turn on cc for subs. Eunjung of course sings but what surprised me was that BSH sings pretty well too.

Did you finish this yet @rocher22? I finished it last night and was really pleased with how things turned out. You are right that this is one show where we can love both FL and ML equally. Often they make the ML like super perfect and do some injustice to the FL's character. I am just glad this show had them both nicely written. They didn't do silly things and would communicate how they felt even if they didn't quite agree.I was glad we saw their entrepreneurial journey - pretty realistic since starting your own business is never easy.

Yao's one flaw ( not a real flaw for me) is that he wants to protect her by filtering information or bad news. She was not happy with that - she wanted him to trust that she would be able to handle it. That was the main conflict as their relationship progressed. I get where she is coming from . She wants him to stop carrying the burdens on his own and to rely on her too. Was nice to see how they talked it out. 

My one regret is that Nana and Xiaxia didn't quite make it. I know Nana friendzoned him but he's such a sweet guy.  Anyhow glad to see how they wrap things up for everyone. Her parents coming to visit for the opening of her guesthouse and the rest of the gang returning too  was a nice touch. 
 

I will definitely miss this show. One of the best slice of life in recent years. I plan to start on Go Go Squid after this to have my daily dose of LiXian 

I know she wants to save him but I don't see how staying back in the same place where the cliff is will change things. It's too big a risk to trap the guy there when this place is so far away from where the detective is. She already has a premonition that that is the place and won't it make more sense to get out of that place first?

Yes finally we will have more scenes of them together. Please, just have less of Hyun Sung.

You mean the impression that scene is made, right? That he committed suicide. Because in my interpretation of his first death, someone pushed him, not that he committed suicide. Maybe this will be addressed later, maybe not.

I agree...it was only made to seem that it was suicide but now I don't think it is. It has always been that he was murdered.
