  2. Flower of Evil’: Lee Joongi tops buzzworthy chart for 3 straight weeks, living up to his reputation Lee Joongi tops the Most Buzzworthy Drama Actors chart for three straight weeks. On September 6, the behind-the-scenes stills were released of Lee Joongi in tvN’s Wed/Thu drama ‘Flower of Evil.’ The unveiled stills reveal both Lee Joongi’s dazzling visuals, which continue to shine even during breaks, and the serious look on his face as he instantly gets into character. Before the shoot begins, Lee Joongi rehearses lines with his co-stars, with the look of ‘Do Hyunsoo’ in his eyes. After that, he goes back to being the ‘On-Set Energizer,’ flashing a mischievous smile that makes everyone smile after him. Furthermore, as soon as the shoot begins, he instantly becomes Do Hyunsoo, completely immersed in his performance. On set, he leaves people around him in awe in a different way from the way he does on the screen, dominating the atmosphere. The behind-the-scenes stills alone demonstrate Lee Joongi’s unparalleled presence. Through ‘Flower of Evil,’ the actor has lived up to his name by presenting an entirely new side of him that he’s never shown us before. In Episode 11, in particular, his acting ranged from a top-notch action performance, where he goes all out, to an emotional performance that left viewers sobbing, drawing such enthusiastic responses as “Lee Joongi is a genre in and of himself.” Lee Joongi’s superb performance has led to an increasing interest in not only the drama but the actor himself, reminding us of his undying popularity as an original hallyu star. In Korea, Lee Joongi topped the ‘Most Buzzworthy Drama Actors’ chart for three straight weeks, from the 2nd to 4th weeks of August, according to Good Data Corporation. Lee has also demonstrated his far-reaching influence overseas by ranking in the top positions in search keywords, on renowned platforms and portals, such as Weibo, TikTok, and Baidu. Through ‘Flower of Evil,’ actor Lee Joongi has transformed each and every genre, from suspense to action and to melodrama, into a ‘Lee Joon Gi’ genre, and made viewers feel like getting a present from him for each episode that airs. In the upcoming episodes, fans around the world are looking forward to a performance from Lee Joongi that he has not shown them before. source: allaboutjoongi
  3. I first saw him from this show. Can't wait to watch the first episode and see how hype this one is! Hope it will be a good one !
  4. Seriously this show makes me spin my head a lot of times because of the confusion of time travelling x parallel universe. Beautiful mess, and I love it. @mademoisellesia @im0202 @LaLa The last frames of episode 4 elated me when Jin Gyeom finally time traveled. Seems like we are having two Yoon Tae Yi's but how about Jin Gyeom ?
  5. @mademoisellesia Seungkwan is the only member I know in Seventeen, and Im happy is participating for the OST ! Another singers line up for the upcoming OST
  6. Today is donggu's 11th anniversary ! I still remember his outstanding performance in Baker King
  7. Wait, I realize there was no presscon for this one ? Aww , so sad that PBG entered in MS without promoting this drama as his parting gift to fans.
  8. Episodes 12-16 will be the final arc of the series and there are still a lot of aces the production is waiting to unveil. According to chief producer Yoon Sang Woon, there are more emotional scenes on the upcoming episodes. With that I am looking forward to the brighter side of things when it comes to resolution , considering that both actors and directors have been vocal of the theme of this show--love, truth , salvation. I want a redemption for the Hae Soo-Moo Jin arc, their story also has a sad premise after the village murder incident. Hae Soo is insomniac, can hardly make it through the day. In 18 years , she did not have her brother with her who had took all the accusation of the crime. Moo Jin also disconnected to her too when she needed him the most. Baek Family, the image they wanted to protect all along will begin to crumble. I want them to take the punishment they deserve by not running away from it. They need to confront Hee Sung's crime and deal with it together. If Go Min Ja will become the whistle blower, then I am more than satisfied. The renewal of vows--wedding of Hyun Soo and Ji Won. Like I mentioned on twitter, there were no wedding photo showed during the entire run of the drama. We only have the family portrait there to signify Baek family. I want to believe that the director/writer intentionally had omitted this one in order to reserve for a new wedding scene for the Do-Cha couple. There has been an indirect renewal of vows in episode 11. It was lovely. Eunha's dongsaeng, cause why not.
  9. Just passing by to introduce our Alice Father Abs Son
  10. Seems like Daniel Henney is considering Confidential Assignment after all. Why is he in korean variety show?
  11. One of the highlights of episode 11 for me was this one : Aside from the child-like confession of Hyun Soo to Ji Won, the overall execution of this scene was perfectly crafted given the location was filmed on a bridge. It clearly manifests the reconciliation of Ji Won's testimony of loyalty to her husband and Hyun Soo's surrender of his real self.
  12. Hyun Soo was running away from the Restaurant chef (who eventually died in episode 2). The resto chef stabbed him after attempting to steal his money. Based on the speculations, Hee Sung is going to meet Hae Soo. This vlogger has interesting videos since episode 3. Her speculations were almost right
  13. Hi! Welcome aboard ! Yes let’s talk about JoonChae here ! Speaking of endless compliments, these two freely praise each other anytime, anywhere Behind the scenes update: Jiwon pinching Hyunsoo’s cheek was an adlib !
  14. 𝒮𝓊𝓅𝑒𝓇𝓌🏵𝓂𝒶𝓃 𝒞𝒽𝒶 𝒥𝒾 𝒲🏵𝓃 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘔𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘯 Flower of Evil is getting better every episode without chill. After the heartwrenching episode 11 , I came to understand why actor * Moon Chae Won , had chosen this project among other dramas / films offered to her for the past two years. Moon Chae Won specifically mentioned during the presscon and interviews that she was attracted with Cha Ji Won as a female lead who loves perils, mostly loving a dangerous man. From episode five onwards , the story unfolds how Cha Ji Won evolved to a one sweet wife to someone who loathe her husband once then love him more after. Cha Ji Won is a ray of light to Hyun Soo's darkness. She was oblivious about this for fourteen years. Little did she know, she was the inexplicable event that happened in Hyun Soo's life--unrealistic, absurd. Ji Won gave Hyun Soo's the chance to become another person-an opportunity for him to live a decent life far different from his chilhood and teenage years. He never had a complete, warm family to grow up with. He had suffered dreadful , life threatening episodes before he meet Ji Won. For Hyun Soo, as he deceived her for fourteen years, Ji Won became as someone whom he needs to make her happy. She has devasting phases in her life too, but with Hyun Soo's care she was able to move forward. However, the pronounced challenge has yet to come to Jiwon when her husband was kidnapped, almost died from drowning and later on revealed that he was the suspected accomplice on the loose. I can not still imagine myself being at the same predicament as Ji Won , if I have someone I love for a very long time only to find out he had faked his identity. I guess , this will take a talented artist like Moon Chae Won to immerse herself to someone whom she is head over heals to. I even asked, if is this real? Will there will be a couple similar to this one in real life? Yet Chaewonshi is naturally good at this. She flourished the conveyance of different emotions a woman can possibly have given a scenario as complicated as Jiwon's. Ji Won , after she over heard from Hyun Soo that he never felt love towards her eversince, crushed her completely. It made her despise her husband. It drove her to bypass her oath as a detective in order to unravel the truth. Even so, her wits is winning over her doubts . She was firm with what she sees from Hyun Soo who is not a pyschopath after all. She debunked that quick judgment made by people who fear to know. Despite she knows about Hyun Soo's impersonation, she had made a vow to protect that secret instead. I was delighted as a viewer when Ji Won runs towards her husband after that call in episode 9 , admitting that she misses him badly. That has been the turning point on how credible Ji Won is as a detective, at the same time a faithful loving wife next to Hyun Soo. Later on, while waiting for Hyun Soo to arrive, she received that important call from Hae Soo validating that her brother is totally innocent from any of the murders. Episode 11 was the peak of saving Hyun Soo from total breakdown. He had chosen to go home instead of running away. I like how the writer displayed Hyun Soo's wall crumbling down, infront of his compassionate wife. In response, Ji Won decided to grant Hyun Soo's choice. Home is where the heart is. Why in the world you knew everything. Why didn't you leave me even though you konw everything? I just don't get it. Do you really not understand? Do you really not know why I tried so hard to protect you even though I knew your identity? Ji Won may not be the perfect homemaker by common standards (can cook, can take care of Eunha's needs etc). However, she is armored with love devoted to her family which makes her the most reliable wife and mother. She saved his husband more than once. She deserves the happiness the world can give. Please let her and her family stay happy until the end. *Lee Joon Gi 's accolade during his IG live when he was asked how does he feel while filming with Moon Chae Won
