I am a bit confused now. I see that the Emperor does want CX and SJ to stay married . We now have the three officials who have been bullying and discredit the General. The General doesn’t care about his bad reputation but doing his job well. In two episode the Emperor mentioned thay SJ was part of the royal family but when he first sent the decree , it was for the eldest Shen daughter. Does that mean the other Shen daughter are part of the royal family. One of those greedy officials wants to know why Shen Jin was given to CX. Making me wonder is there an special reason that she stay married to CX????

Just finished episode 5 and 6 This drama is so hilarious. I have no idea why this drama makes me laugh but it does. The heroine isn't your typical rich lady, she is strong mentally of course, but not physically but she isn't snotty and judge mental. Shen Jin woke up to a divorce letter on the nightstand and found out her husband to the military camp. What do you think she does?? She joins his military camp and tries to be a soldier. She actually doesn't do so bad , she works hard but hubby sometimes get in her way to actually work harder. In the mean time hubby ( Chu Xiu Ming)) finds out someone is still spying on him by reading his reports. When it was time to bathe, SJ had difficulty taking a shower. Hubby shows up and tell her she can bathe in his room but she refuses because they are divorce. When it was time for meal, he found her porridge to look strange, so he threw it away. She could have told him the reasons why the porridge looks weird and he could have told her his fears, These two refuses to communicate. He then tells her she can go back to get some more porridge but she refuses to go because rules are you can only go on line once. When it was time for bed, he offers again for her to sleep there but she refuses. smh smh smh She goes to the barach making all the men uncomfortable ,so they all choose to sleep outside. Everyone knows she is the General's wife. They wouldn't dare to mess with her. That night she couldn't get a good night sleep and was very cranky the next day. Hubby requested an audience and of course he had to compromise big time because his men are uncomfortable. She said if he gives her wine she will do anything he said. lol lol He had to break the rules so that he can get her to do as he says. XM has it rough. She gets drunk and they have so cute moments. SHe tells him how she feel and what she thinks of him. She almost drown. He carried her to his tent and changes her clothes and let her sleep. The General's home Cutie Pie ( SJ's maid) . In my opinion she is cute but a terrible maid. She worries for her master but then askes herself why is she worry when she should be feeding herself first. lol lol Then she finds out it is the Geneal's birthday. THe cook prepares a meal for the General. Cutie ask to take the food over and was given lots of stuff for the SJ. She finally sees SJ and then she tells her it is the XM's birthday. The entire day she tries to plan a surprise party for hubby was stopped from planning the surprise. She prepared a meal for him and they end up fighting. She leaves the camp and goes back home after giving him the divorce letter.

Yes it is Zhu’er FR ex bestie @gween97 @40somethingahjumma Xu Ping is just isn’t as smart as he thinks. He tried so hard to be a badass. He thought he can be a better warrior but it turns out Duke Si was way better than him. Liu RuYi’a death isn’t solved and I believe Duke Su is on it. The maid killed her master on purpose. Ah Nuan actually think she can rely on Prince Ahn. Her own master new he wasn’t trustworthy. She was letting her jealousy and greed cloud her judgement. I wonder if she will be the one to tell FR that Prince Ahn was there when her master died. Duke Su is very possessive and he really wants FR to trust him. I wished he had looked her situation differently when she gave him the suicide note. Why??? Because she went to him first once she got the note. You are correct, Prince Su is very confident and that is why I love him. He knows his wife and trust her except for the people around her. Lol lol I love seeing his jealousy side. It was so cute .

I can’t help but think those questions started from the first episode. I HAVE ONLY SEEN HIM DREAM IT ONCE but was interrupted by Screechy princess. I felt from the very first episode, he seems to suspect he dies young. Then she let it slip once he dies young but then corrects herself. Then he would bring it up again once he start to doubt what she said to him from the very first episode. In episode 23 or 24 , he mentions he does fear losing her and wanting to have a happy life. This character is different from LFU because this drama isn’t about Revenge but just regular life in that era as Prince. He is more relaxed, smiles more NQ smuch more approach able. Screechy Princess seems to be annoying but her love for him is true. Thanks to her , the Emperor finds out some secrets from her. She is spoiled rotten and doesn’t understand the meaning No. TBH , I pity her because she thinks she is smart but is being used by Princess Qingqing.

I noticed that too @gween97 Just Finished Episodes 23-24 . It was an awesome episode and felt like some pieces was missing. But still enjoyable. @SnT Very true, I don’t feel it too because the actor isn’t expressing it well.

I am bit slower in watching these episodes chingu’s. So happy to see this thread pick up . jusu finished episode 21 and wow JJY and ZZH acting in this episode was amazing. Fu Rong just can’t help herself and has to climb trees. I wish we could find out why she likes to climb trees. I am a bit shocked , I believe her lies on trying to save a bird. And smh smh smh

Xu Ping is unhinged and the write has shown this to us. I do believe the writer wants us to feel pity on him. The problem is the chose the wrong actor to make I believable. The write wanted is viewers to see a child in a man’s body. His brother raised him but he never felt sexy and safe. I think while growing up , there must have been lots of assassination attempts for him. The script may seem flawed but might not. XP certainly felt unloved and unprotected because of the schemes that goes around in the palace. At young age his own nephew was separated from his mom , then sent to a temple and then sent to the border. He also had to stay away from politics because he didn’t want to be schemed upon. Also kept his identity a secret while he became famous. I ask so think loving like that must have been stressful. He was also lied to about his mom’s death. That is one reason he chose to lash out. The actor is doing a good job for us to feel his pain. If it was Wang Kai or Hu Ge , they would have been able to pull it off. Remember the scene when he played chess and his mom appeared like a spirit. The Second reason , His nephew ( the introvert is pursuing the Fu Rong. A woman who made him happy, a woman who treated him like any normal person, a woman who doesn’t fawn over him has now been taken from him by the same person who killed his mom. Whatever was sanity he had left just evaporated because she was the only thing ( in his mind ) ofcourse who cared for him sincerely. He hasn’t fully realized she is in love with Prince Su, once he does realize it . He will turn even more evil. We also find out “” He summoned his son home” I thought he went home because of the rations but it was because of the corrupt officials the Emperor want to find. I am guessing there will be more surprises we have to see. I will be honest the marriage thing was a surprise. I don’t think FR knew about the engagement. She asked Duke Ahn to help her. Once Duke Ahn heard that Prince Su wanted to marry FR, then he tried to convince the Emperor to let it happen. I may be wrong this marriage wasn’t planned from the beginning. I don’t think FR is that cold hearted. Finding out he saw her master and didn’t tell her about it. It must have hurt her and with all the dream she keeps having of herself and the Duke also played a part in it. Ah Yuan is very fishy. She is also in love with Duke Ahn. She is working for him and I believe she is jealous of Fu Rong too. I think this jealousy comes from the master favoring her and now Duke Ahn. People like this maid don’t know the meaning of LOYALTY and that is why people never pick them because of those traits. I just finished episode 19 and although he wedding happening already is fast but it was so worth it. This drama has my FULL ATTENTION AND I WAS LIKE GIVE ME MORE. I needed to put my two cents in. Duke Ahn sure know how to disappoint me. He advises him to let them marry but be upset when she( FR) can only be a Concubine. FR’s parent , I really love them and I feel bad for the dad. He has two spunky daughters and when his si grows up. He will be just as spunky. FX may control her wild side but she has it. As long as you don’t cross that line.

I don’t think Duke Ahn really know her at all. I think Duke Su knows her better and he just met her. Their life experience changes them and it is their choices in life that makes them the people they are. I remember the scene when Duke Ahn tries to threaten FR’a master , thinking that FR would turn her back on her master because of her other business for RuYi Pavilion. Even though she is certain that her master other job may not be legal. She still considered her her master. After arguing with her , she still went back to apologize and refused to turn against her. She even pleaded with Duke Su , that her master is a good person. She showed maturity and wisdom in judging events that occurs around her. Her struggle in understanding her master and Duke Su’s Uncle supposed betrayal.
