They hv been surprising us this past 7 episodes since the wedding drama. Should n be another reversal of yunxi i hope. I pick up another reversal.. Lfy towards the end after blmx death lament to yx he wish he coukd hv handle it better earlier on. Here in ruyi fr says on the corridor scene, hope to handle screechy earlier so that nothing disastrous can happen later. The scene xj pierce his heart during the wedding... He says to repay love. I waa confused with that initially. But i think the meanimg is doubled up as repaying yunxi heart blood. Btw anyone understands qizhu. Huai wan is obviously interested in her n so is she. She liked him. If she want to hurt FR isnt she directly making enemy with huaiwan side of the family ie xj n his mum. Even for her own good, how can she rely on ppl who forced her bro to suicide (yes she may not know but still no suspicion with why ppl suddenly make her a court lady when her brither just admit to the crime of attempt to assassinate a prince). I meam i really find her too stupid plus evil. Too much like ahnwan.

Actually, being the zhengfei speaks volume. Its offucial wife. Of course in yunxi case its automatically hers. Even though they did not complete the full ceremony, Qinwan goes quite good length to make sure ppl respect his wangfei even he was not so into her in the beginning. But he make sure ppl give her respect in many situations... First one was with his brat niece princess. In a way, XJ is not doing much to make sure her status is acknowledged by outsider. But that che (secondary) is just annoying. Yes he loves her to bits. But to me not enough effort to make sure ppl don bully FR with her title. He should visited her family too with FR. So far no return to her home with him yet. Maybe because she is secondary cinsort.

Yes very lovely episode. I just think the drama had set up a proper hubby wifey relationship in the past 21 to 27 episode for not only to swee the audience but more for the characters to be set up to weather the coming storms. . From almost killing her hubby to appeasing him n making him forgive her n then realising she loved him enough not to live wo him, all the way to learning what her hubby is like including being a jealous pot, a nerd too (she point to star instead of romantic words, xj gave her a lecture on constellation, yawn), not at all expressive kinda guy to now talking n expressingher thought n feelings to him. I find FR grew well. I remembered how i find jjy unexpressive in ep 17 18. Now i can see a in love FR. She is 100 % reciprocating his love. XJ is consistent all along in his love for her, she is always his no 1 priority, one fan one heart still hold true, steadfast in all his promise to her, supportive n open minded about her interest n work, n would go through great length for her. Only bad habit is since wedding incident (she did say why din u tekl me u saw hee before she died) is he still hasn't learn that he need to tell her things. He knows how to express his love through words, action, letter, notes but he is too protective of her to tell her issues that is affecting him. He need to realise those issue will eventually get to affect her too. U r her hubby. But still the title best hubby of the year i award to him. Love tonight episodes. Love how they talked, love how she is unhappy whenever he is off to do some work n love her gladness in seeing him back. Super love when she introduce hin to mr xu as her husband, so lovely to heae that, love how they walked holding hands on the street, how she hugged voluntarily him by the riverbank, love it she indulged him when he want to teach her bow pulling right in the middle of the street haha.., love it how they so want to spend time together, love it she is bringing his mum closer to him. I think the jewellery department officer also call her chefei. that hateful guard, ting peng, yes he is back to arrest her again jeeringly say su wan che fei... Feel like slapping him. I feel very insulted on her behalf whenever ppl call her that. If u all remember yunxi being the zhengfei really was given the full respect whenever she goes. Her qin wangfei title was so resolute. 2. why isnt she having security when she goes out. That scene of her in the middle of forest walking alone baffled me ep 27. With this sort of security around her no wonder she was later kidnapped. Too easy to kidnap her.

I hv some hints saying after the divorce will be zhangyan kidnapping her n Xj rescue n coffin trapped scene n they will marry again ep 35. This time proper. Then last round ahnwan totally going wild with revenge. Hehe.... Only worry is 35 is quite early to remarry. Hopefully that stab is not fatal. N they will be together this lifetime n next next next lifetime.

The way he roll his eyes n prepared to walk away. But return with pretending he was kinda touched by screechy actions n it got FR button. Haha.... I love that breakfast scene when she got pissed with svreechy hands all ovrr xj. N xj was eyeing her reaction. Fx n wbq are so good for each other. She is level head n can absolutely control him so that he doesn't do anything extreme n rash.. He is capable n smart, sweet n kind n go all lengths to protect her. N he appreciate her intelligence n her being capable make sure she have fun n relaxed. Perfect husband n wife combo. Actually i actually enjoy their love story here more than xj fr which has too many angst caused by others in their lifes. I would love to see xj fr being together solving issues like how they did w screechy n the beginning 18 episodes, But guess the story is not scripted that way. Or do we still hv hope in last 10 episodes.

@UnniSaraFX explained it. Xindu marquis is not a good man. He had done many wrong to wbq n his mother but he is not remorsed at all.. He mever felt wrong from doing the things that the does. Because he choose greed m power over family. But the last min sending wbq away from the bomb site is just whatever it is left in him as a human, a father. Even a tiger would not eat his cubs idiom applied here. Its like the worst human being will still stop at harming their off springs. So what she is saying is what wbq did was not wrong at all. But he just need to recognise that his father make a final choice of not harming him that's all. What he did last moment, does mot make it guiltless n excusable for all his prev actions as a father, husband or court official. Just forgive, no need to dwell on it anymore.

I think ruyi did a good job with the cinematography for drama of this genre. Many scenes n shots r well thought through. In fact characters are also very well developed.. I can slowly see FR look as more mature compared to before marriage, can see her starting to be more reliable n dependendable. Unlike wedding night episode, I believe the coming few episodes it is not about her not trusting him but more in her being protective over him n all the things she love like her family n ruyi pavilion. We Can see ahnwan turning dark, we can see fx turning daring n n cheekier n wbq of course went through n huge development from a brat to a matured general. That is why the drama is interesting n has certain depth that captured us. Definitely better done than loyx in a lot of ways. I get a feeling is yunxi was done with the usual formula n it just si happen to get hot. This ruyi comes with more planning, thoughts n maybe more budget. I hv been looking at their names too. I believed a good script or story writers will look into their names too with developing the character. In chinese: ahnwan xu ping actually his name means safe n stable. He was meant to live a relaxed carefree life. Su means solemn n serious. Another meaning is purge out corruption. Jin is a big name. Jin has a dynasty in china n also it means progress. Move upwards move forward. I think it suits xu jin very well. Rong here is about abiity to hold. To things, ability to hold n take up a lot of things. Rong also mean look.. Good look n dignified look. Rong is definitely a good name for a consort o empress. Just a fun thought of how the characters are like in this show.

Yes... Only certain look suit period drama with the role of general n princely look. N i love them with their hair neatly tie ip rather than the half up half down hairdo. Both zzh n wys looks very look. Wys is a surprise this time. Zzh is just born to do period drama. He is my top 3 favourite. Since his role as lfy i m hooked. So far i cant explore his modern dramas yet.

Preview 29 FR in prison again. I think it has to do with consort duan poisoning (my guess because there is a mention about the jewellery officer is dead as well). Looks like FR is framed again. Emperor visited the prison telling her XJ asked him for 7 days to resolve this matter. N if he cant find proof to prove fr innocence, he will go guard the empress tomb n never return to imperial city. Fr is shocked n tell emperor not to listen to XJ. Emperor says he will stand by his words but he says that to prove her innocence it is next to impossible because the jewelry officer had died too. Emperor goes on to say Fr why di think this is always happening to u. Are they targetting u or jin-er? What do u think? My say is emperor is telling her that all these are because XJ is a capable man in every sense n he is upright n righteous. So all these is targeting him. But fr being XJ love of his life is his one only weakness and she is actually slowing him down from progressing, causing him to lost his reputation n his soldiers faith. By the way the bit on soldier fsith is bullcock by ahnwan. Never see any soldiers saying their unhappiness over XJ love for Fr. As soldiers, if u cant even protect ur family n wife, what makes u thibk u cam protect the country n home. Emperor is saying that FR n her problems are distracting him from what he should be doing. If throne contention is the highlight of this show, i would think dayu throne is already belonging toXJ. Omg the preview of ep 29 n 30 are making me want to cry already. I don think i can watch until all the episodes are out. It is obvious she left him because she doesnt want to affect him. She is saying she is in all sort of trouble because of him. Actually the story kinda project a lot of angst but it seems there are many twists to reduce the torture. Like how they resolve the wedding stabbing. Ep 25 it is FR who pick up the princess from the village. Btw very good bromance btween wbq n xj.
