I m rewatching their episode at the village. The bickering are just so funny. He is really not good at courting a gal. He bought the entire bunch of pouch n she thought they are all gift for her. Actually we know he want to give that particular one to her but so practically used others as door gifts when going around asking for info. I find lfy annoying at the end pushing her away then the moment he sees merxat, he goes running back to yunxi. I mean either u leave her alone or just hang on no matter what. I find yunxi a little silly about her relationship with merxat. So obvious the guy is into her n she keep going to see him.. Roll my eyes. I love them up till ep 20 plus. Then it got draggy. The ending which is open ending with him seeing her in that garden n she has no expression while hugging him is too much for me, not acceptable. Its like i invested 48 episodes n suffered their push n pull n all the nasty antics by that 2nd female (BLMX), really hated her and they cant hv the courtesy to wrap it up properly. If she died then yes very sad, i will cry buckets, my heart aches for him n if i were him i don know how i can go on knowing the person die to save me. @40somethingahjummai think out of the whole court, it was only ahnwan in the beginning supporting XJ. In ep 1 he commended his poem, saying his poem is grade A. N in court he stopped huaiwan from bad mouthing suwan saying u two r brothers.. Ahn started good n he respect Suwan. Thst is why i find the reason for him turning dark rather lame. There are many fans making videos online on thus drama. I watched so many as well. N u r right. Many even simply put it together without addressing the chronologival order properly. For me the dreams appear early in the show with XJ seeing himself marrying in ep15. After that we don see much of dream bit. I agree we should take the dreams w a pinch of salt. The dream is her family fall into a bad state. Her sister married bad n die in childbirth, her brother died young, her father was executed. So this poor FRl for some reasons, marry prince of su as his secondary consort. Not explained why he took her especially she is already from a disgraced family. He already at the time has a primary consort - the bratty princess. The morning after wedding as per tradition, she need to serve tea to his wangfei as respect. There in her dream she was scalded n bullied. In her dreams he is cold even when she was hurt by his wangfei n did not love her. He either married to help her or was forced to marry her. During the dream wedding she obviously was stress n scare n did not smile. Later episodes lthere is dream of her being forced to buried with him because he died. His guard push her into her coffin. In her dream, as far as i see there was no divorce. She was his secondary consort, valid to be buried w him. So they marry n the preview shows emperor only grant her secondary consort. N wbq went to send bethrothal gift worthy of a wangfei n convey messagw to assure lord fu that FR will be his Suwan only wife. In all subsequent preview he n hisvhousehold address her as wangfei. I believe story already flow n move on its own momentum n we can more or less no need to read too much into her dreams anymore. we will see them falling out because of ruyi pavillion. N ahnwan creating problems for them. Of course chengwan n gang, kidnapped fr n hide her in coffin. In the bts he explained he went to save her n gone berserked trying to get xindu marquis n son to reveal her location. Poor Xj is totally facing enemies from every corner. No wonder he believed he is jinxed too. Yes he did divorced her, imprisoned her n inform her he want to marry a zhengfei. These are the bombs. But we also see her taking a knife for him, he jumping off the cliff to be with her. We just don know if the drama goes in the direction of noble idiocracy or the two leads love each other n the overcoming all obstacles together.

Then in some trailer she fall w the bride but He jumped to get her n that bride was left hanging on the cliff. Previews 21 to 24 about sleeping together. Must be the wedding drama. He is worried she doesn't trust or love him n she prob want his forgivemess. But i thought ep 23 she almost kill herself to heal him of the made up story cold toxin by mr Ge. Doesn't that prove her feelings to him. Come on XJ she is ur wife. Get on w the act please. Seal the deal. Don be like another yunxi ti wait till ep 47 to get it done... 🙄 Emperor is a good guy in heart but he is doing his best to listen to everyone. He mistakenly trust his brother too. I think he trust XJ, but when he did the jail break, he was so angry w his recklessness. I m sure 3 sons are all throne contenders. He want all 3 sons to hv good character, good intelligence very importantly rational n able to balance things. One of them will be a future ruler. Zhuer maybe tried to make life nasty for FR via Huai wan, XJ brother. I think it all has to do throne contention.. Empress n XP mother died same time.. All blames go to XJ. Ok ladies. Good news. Trailer out till 24 on iqiyi. All super sweet n good except they probably havent consummate their marriage. Aikksss. Not again. Did anyone feel their heart skip a beat when he calls her rong er. I do... I hv the special liking when the ml or fl call each other with their actual names. He first call her ronger first time in the detention center. Whoosh... I swooned.

Master ruyi is a business person. She sells info/intel. But i can tell she has principles. She did not like it when ahn wan is harming ppl, esp bombing the mountains n causes destruction. She also disliked how official dong died as he is a good official. Obviously she died because she stopped being cooperative. N ahn wan wanted to grab control over her organisation. I m also wondering how daddy will allow FR to marry XJ. He was against his daughter marrying royalty when ahn visited. Looks like emperor dad also would not think highly of FR punishing her to copy women's behaviour book. Will be interesting how they get pass all that as well.

Wow 2 more nights to go... I never felt the need to wait for next episode. But this ep 10 to 18 are so sweet, cant wait to see the both of them interacting again.

Yes i rewatched. She seems to be distracted n with everyone behaving like crazy fans, a fortune teller stall look rather odd eh haha... Maybe If she sell nuts n popcorn, she will less obvious haha... U ladies realised she had never been interested in mr ju shui like her sister n friends haha... She lied to XJ n says she is a fan. Guess being an wan or ju shui, both never can attract her. Too bad, an wan. She is not meant to be yours.

Ahhhh... Now it makes sense why i din get the feeling of her falling for him yet. But i believe her delivery also contributes some. Like when she saw him flew in to save her in ep 17. I could not see any expression from her. She still look dazed at most. I was expecting at least a surprised look. Actually if the story stick to past lives like the novel it will be easier to understand. Like the drama love n redemption, past lives does not mean this lives things are still same. It is this life, the now that matters. Premonition n dreams makes it confusing for me. Harder to internalise my thoughts. To me she fall n hit her head n the ability came after that. She was unconscious for a day a night i think.

Hi i was quite clear. Ep 1 it was clear she is scared by her dreams. N she wanted to get in the jushui festival because she dreamt about some disaster there. ep 2 when she want to steal his undergarment she explained to him, they jinxed one another but actually she felt he jinxed her. It was clear it has to do her dreams but only later episodes i fully realised it was because she saw him die young n she was to he buried alive w him. That's is towards ep 9 n 10. Tbh i wasn't very interested from ep1 to 8. I was there to watch for the 2 leads. But found the story a little boring n dark. It felt forced they keep bumping into each other. My attention were sometimes not fully there. From ep 9 onwards it can be seen that he is definitely interested in her as a gal when he shake that tree for her. It is clear he started to hv a soft spot for her. n when her 'fiance' was all over her, he went hovering. then the goose scene is just so cute. He is obviously interested in her then. All the smirks n glints started to come up more. My attention are all captured from ep 8 9ish. But i havent skipped any scenes. I hv to admit in yunxi i really skipped some scenes esp the merxat with his country political schemes n many of the foreign princess turned concubine story with the harem. Those were so draggy. Yunxi was 48 ep. If i count those i fast forward i prob cut our 8 ep too 😜😜😜.. FR character i found her antics rather enjoyable to watch. Unlike some drama the FL are cute but can be annoying n some makes me cringe w their cuteness overload. FR is simply naugthy n just cannot sit still. Like overactive mind. She is caring. Love how to want to sell the stone in jushui to raise money for spying. I really laughed. Hopefully she will show more of that to XJ n keep her loveliness. Point of confusion iin for me is: 1. Why he was interested at a bored looking fortune teller out of the whole crowd? That's how they met but i cant see the logic. Does he need to look like he is doing something like pretend to be around there to spy? 2. I still am confused as to who says those phrase in the rooftop. Whose voice is that? His mum (not likely as it was explained she hasn't seen him in years) , maybe XP mum when they actually did met at the temple? I m so curious. 3. Is she going to be his secondary consort (chefei) but why secondary? Next week clip say wangfei which is the correct address for legitimate primary wife. But there is a trailer that asks his emperor dad to let him divorce his chefei fu rong.
