Its ok... We still hv 27 n 28 to buffer before 29 30... N you r right if it happens earlier means that they hv more episodes at the end to close up properly. Instead of 1 episode to rushly close up. Hopefully they hv at least 2 to 3 episodes to sweetly close n show lots of weddings, family time, couole time n at lesdt a pregnancy, if not baby in drama.

From the trailer, i gather she pretend to be ill n blind to go stay w XJ. Because she saves him n most likely is Mr ge good medical skills she is allowed to stay. Fr n him knew about her pretense. FR advised that they go soft with her n try to get her out of this XJ craze. In a way, they r trying to handle her obsession with him as husband n wife. The word XJ say to her rings very very true. She was asking why cant u just be a tiny bit good/gentle with me. To that, Xj answered that will be cruel to u. Xj at this point in time did not feel obligated, forced or touched in a way consider marry her. He is steadfast in his promise to FR. N i think FR is tryimg her best to counsel her before everytjing get out of hands. Both husband n wife are still going strong. I cant help but think that if they had hamdle BLMX in Yunxi well, the damage can be less. Looks like they r trying to reverse that again.

I think the hardest scene for me wilk be if FR father die. I mean they r such happy family.. N from the ost i looks like that is not part of the dreams. N he could not comfort her becsuse looks like they hv gone cold on each other.

From all the episodes up to these previews i just feel there are many moments are about insecurity n them being tip lip/tough mouth esp FR. In fact looks like FR is quite secure with XJ love because XJ had been more vocal. But i feel she is too mute with words. Every time she says her care, it works like magic on him. But She uses her action more to show she loves n cares for him but not words. In many cases i think if she would just say i m sorry, i love u lots too...XJ will be totally melted. Eg.. I was so obvious when he wakes up drunk n saw her by his side n she tells him about the letter n how she has doubt before seeing the letter, he already forgive her. But his tough mouth went... I will properly consider ur proposal on divorce 🤦🏻‍♀️. Cause Remember the scene when she cooked n he found her hand scalded, his words is in the future u don need to do this urself.... The key word is in the future.. Fr oh fr ur hubby is saying in the future (considering divorce yeah right) ......this drama doesnt give them a lot of in depth conversation that husband n wife have. Like story of minglan or even the General's lady.. But that is why the flow of tje story has to be misunderstandings after misunderstandings. Too bad.

I was watching something about ranking of most jeolous hubby from cdrama on you tube. It is hilarous that our Prince qin lfy beat many contender but he was besten by Prince Su XJ in this round ruyi. Haha... Those scene of cannot eat food by other man n feed it to the horse n dont want repay, want bao (hug) is becoming a classic 🤣🤣 I also find the cinematography of this drama much more well done.. The scenes are beautiful and feast to the eyes besides our 5 good looking leads. I find myself rewatching wo needing to skip. Good effort in the directing..

@40somethingahjummathe whole show XJ is cool, calm n serious face to all around him. The drama just make him a complete different character when he is w FR. Expressive, protective, doting and most importantly he let her be herself. He saw her trying out to be weird fortune teller, catching her at his army camp trying to steal his underwear, pick her up from a brothel, her obstinate daring self when trying to beg for chance for her sifu. So knowing her love for climbing walls n trees are just peanuts to him. He definitely knows the gal he love n he marry her w eyes wide open knowing very well her ability to land on trouble (the word his emperor dad used). They r two persons who can be truly themselves when they r together. In the near divorce episide 20 he says it loud n clear, i don marry u n expect to follow rules as a wangfei. Just want her to be properly protected while she is being herself. Like the incident of her going out. He is saying, i dont stop u from going out n forced u to stay home to be a rule abiding wangfei but do let me know so i can take enough measure to keep u safe. Esp when there were almost assainate again on their wedding night. In fact up now he hasnt found the real guy behind qiche attempt to assasinate him, the person the army ration, the person rhat caused his uncle to suicide.

Like she is the best thing that ever happen to him, which is prb true since his mum death. U can see the difference here betweeb ahnwan n wbq... Both had mum dead most prob due to some plot. But both faces it differently.. The ability to let go us go important. His eyes twinkle when he teases her. N throw her off guard. N i love the way in the beginning he always say the wrong thing n want to bite his tongue after he has done it.. Hope they get married soon in the coming episodes. From bts thry will. Love her portrayal of serious goody sister but u can tell the hidden characters of being progressive n non conforming in her quiet way. In a way her getting Fr out of prob is her way of living a carefree life. She cannot obviously do it. But she enjoys it.

I tend to think this is also a reversal of yunxi. In yunxi the 2nd female lead was what you described here - clingy, wilking to play second fiddle n expect to hv her love return just because she grow the beauty blood for him n grew up with him. I remembered in yunxi there is at least 3 circumstances that had someone kind like lyf mum, her own dad kindly telling BLMX that love cannotbe exchanged with deeds. Ppl are telling her it s better to let go. The best one is lyf mum. She says she knew the life of polygamy n she lives the life of not having her husband full attention n love. She does not wish that on BLMX. She says... Find someone who truly loves u n treat u like a treasure in the palm of his hand. N that person canmot be feiye. Those scenes were strongly imprinted in my head. I remembered thinking it then if BLMX let go, she will hv a happier healthier life n does not result in a miserable death harming n hurting everyone she loved including lyf. The one thought which u either hang on or let go can make such a difference in ur own life. So now when u wrote this, it remind me screechy is the same. Hopefully here she will be the one that let go n her happily ever after. Also here she isnt as evil. Just spoilt n obnoxious m annoying. So she is not insane n evil like BLMX. So she does not deserve that BLMX ending.

I think the reason why ruyi top the iqiyi chart or some chart with 8000 viewership is because quite by large of the old fans from Loyx. I know the production team realise that, just hope they remember that. So far we see many reversal of loyx in ruyi including the characters set up of the leads. Use of memorable lines n reversing some major events of yunxi. N even giving an ending to yunxi through the puppet show. It is tough to remember half of the ppl here r watching because of yunxi n the othrr half maybe new viewers. So it had to make sense to both. So far 24 episides we can see that this is driving towards a historical romcom with lower political machinations (i woukd say 70 romamce 30 politics also reverse of loyx. I remembered the fast forwarding many political discussions in yunxi) that emphasise on love between the leads n how they grow with the support of the family, friends, tight family relationships and tight friendship, modern ideal of monogamy (one wife, one love) n women being independent (fx is basically accountant n fr is a owner of a goldsmith shop). Even jjy says in her interview that loyx is more Niut xin (their slang for torture/angst). So i m optimistic for a happily ever after in this setting n this lifetime. It will totally illogical otherwise.

I have always hope for a sequel in yunxi. Even if it is something tropey like memory lost on her part. I want to see them conquering the other qixiu n northern li. Even a 12 episode i will be esctatic. Haha...

@gween97 i m not sure on the accuracy of these sort of previews. Some are chronologically weird, some doesnt make sense. This one sounds ok.. The story is very true with what we hv seen. It says after beinh caught byXJ regarding the spying. She still hate furong but slowly got to warm up to furong, even getting drunk. When she saw how close fr is with XJ n how she never XJ in the cute tender way like he is eith fr. She realised they truly love one another. She was later married off to others. But got into trouble together w FR with another attempt of assassination. both her n fr got trapped at the cliff with XJ jumping off to be with FR.

I think it is 11 12 13 14. Fingers crossed. All tye 10 episodes come out one shot. Then its binging time. I m not sure on subscription but from the duboku website it follows the vip schedule n sometimee earlier. Eg geberal lady was all out on sat 8pm but by 2 pm almost all the episode were uploaded. Hehe... Don ask me. I don know how it works. The website are all in chinese. I din read Chinese very well. Just bits n pcs.

But let us be really optimistic about this. So far from all the trailers bts previews, it looks like they can be over dramatic about it. The angst of wedding night was over in 1.5 episodes. The dramatic scene of wangye getting zhengfei turn into a comedy. The furong want to divorce was settled with XJ crying like a baby. So i still hv hope the last 12 episodes will hv ups n downs but not completely turning dark. We hv the scene of him n her on that rooftop with her lying lifeless in his arm but we also hv the secind wedding with him waiting at the door n her walking through the door, smiling. Lets alk hope for the best. Looking at the airing schedule vip purchase of rmb25 can get the last 10 episodes on 16 nov. I m currently using duboku.cc n its update is exactly same as vip. Just tat no subs, which is ok for me as i understand Chinese

From my observation of sleepless princess, audiences are geberally not accepting to open ending. Sleepless princess garnered over 40 over close to 5O pages of discussion on soompi (so mainky International english speaking audiences) Showing the interests in the show. It had many ppl watching n it was the chemistry of the two leads that hot the drama. They ended with her still in coma n him holding her at the edge of cliff which look like attempt suicide. The production was bombed by ao many ppl. N epilogue was given (which was avtually part of the ori drama they cur out to test audience n garner more income). It was a bad taste. Epilogue did have a good ending but from the reaction for Chinese n International audience like us, i think open ending is not the way to go. Not welcomed at all. N inconsistencies in script can be a bad move. Some scripts are set in darker environment, serious notes like many court/Palace historical dramas, then more or less the audience kinda expect a bad ending. So it is ok. Many will accept. Just not open ending n then give u epilogues That will be nice. To prove they are mwant to he together even in different lives. N may set a 3rd possibilities of them in other drama. But if this ended like loyx open ended or bad ending with him or her dead , then forget about 3rd. For me at least.

That will be mega sucks. If the scriptwriter pulled such stunts, it will be Totallly BAD taste n waste of good work they have done so far. Not the right way to be creative. Trying to copy goodbye my princess? Would be stupid. Because goodbye my princess ia doomed to hv a sad ending. There ia no way, a person can live with a man who caused death n killed ur grangpa, mum etc. No matter how muxh u loved him. The crown prince waa abusing FL motionally n forced her to watch the sifu death. N how she is caught between two countries. Death is her only choice for her to continue love that man. Hence the reincarnation card is the onky way. Also in ruyi drama, the scriptwriter change everything to premonition.. If they suddenly ended with past lives new lives theme, it will so terribly crazy n unacceptable. In the General's Lady they played that card for a modern twist. They have a good ending in the drama with both leads retired to border with their son. But the drama put up they met in modern time when he was chasing her for her script as she was the scriptwriter for the show. Hope it is something like that. Or another dream that they will still meet again again in various times no matter what.
