  1. Why? Too slow? Couple got together?
  2. Oh is it the same one? I wanted to watch your J-version one day.
  3. Luckily today is a public holiday, you can save your leave! Happy Vesak Day to everyone who celebrates the holiday!
  4. Aww give him a chance! I definitely want to watch this drama, I am a sucker for stories like that! And KANG GO BI? GO BI? COFFEE? HAHAHAH @SilverMoonTea Sounds like kopi right?
  5. I am a fan of the Sherlock Holmes so this is interesting. I am going to look into it! Our local library system's e-book is really a godsend. I sped through so many books in 2019 because of it. Then it got slower when dramas entered my life again last year. Haha!
  6. Join me! Otherwise I will be talking to myself here I won't be going that fast so you can probably keep pace with me with your other drama.
  7. Going to revive this thread since I am finally going back to it after a bit of hiatus. I started in the middle because I was curious about Na In-Woo joining the drama. With the early episodes re-uploaded with his appearance, I am starting from the beginning properly. Some quick thoughts of Ep 1 - 2 : I like this drama, it seems like a light sageuk to watch. The first two episodes set up the premise fairly well and it was no trouble to follow the plot. The politicking is fairly obvious and things happen very conveniently. I guess the style of this drama is to not explain how things happen. That means I sometimes get a bit confused when we move from scene to scene. For example when Tara Jin and her brother find Gajin in the woods; they were dressed in farmer wear when the last time we saw them, they were in their black assassin outfit even though they were searching for Gajin in both instances. I am like, what changed? Why are they so casual suddenly... The central romance is Gajin and Ondal is adorable right from the start! I really like how Ondal made an impression on Gajin so quickly through his care for her. For all the trauma in his teenagehood and their later isolation, it's miraculous to me hat Ondal has grown up to be carefree and good-natured. What a gem he is! Kang Haneul is mighty impressive here. If I didn't know him, I wouldn't believe he's in his early 30s. He seems almost 40 with the gravitas and intensity he brings to this role. I feel like we are getting a glimpse of future Kang Haneul. I am not surprised the production really milked his cameo for everything that he's worth. Which is A LOT!
  8. OH MY! I don't feel so bad about my own collection anymore.
  9. Additional answers
  10. No time lah, next will be Hospital Playlist! I watched a few eps of River because I was curious about Na In-Woo joining the drama and I quite like it. Hello @Thanie, welcome to the Dabang and Jang Haven! This is where we chit-chat all day long about anything and everything!
  11. Reading all our #stationeryproblems, maybe I should rename this thread to Support Group for Stationery Lovers? Yes, exactly! And then I think, "oh I will do this while at a cafe or on the train to the next city." But of course it never happens! I am surprised, Miss SilverMoonTea! You need to rectify this problem immediately! But it's true that I have yet to finish up a roll of washi tape, some of these I have had for yearssss! But this year, I vow to more free with the solid colour tapes since they are so easy to get now!
  12. It's a great method! With it, I can combine schedule and my daily notes in one place. What I like most is how you can adapt it to suit your preferences but still retain the principle of it. I experimented quite a bit before arriving at a system that works for me.
  13. I use a paper planner. It's a bullet journal and I incorporate all my to-dos and meeting notes together, plus I can control exactly how I want it to look like. Jen! I have that same coloured dots tape! Wow, I can really tell the kind of tape design you gravitate to. My humble washi tape collection (before I started hauling on Shopee).
  14. I am going to be so bad at this, but let's play anyway! All answers here: I am surprised I managed to remember more than a few! But the last 2 K-dramas I can't guess is nagging at me!
  15. I totally missed the boat on this one but I am pretty reluctant to go back and watch such an old drama. That was Jasper's first drama? Wow! Anyway, I am back on River Where The Moon Rises! @Tofu @bluepebbles
  16. Kim Go Eun was on Na PD's Game Caterers show and she confirmed the cells will be animated! Now will they look like the cells in the webtoon?
  17. More information about the plot of this drama. It's supposed to be broadcast in Q2 but no release date yet.
  18. They aren't that big, next to my cameras. Hahaha! I like to keep my tickets or brochures in there as an attempting at scrapbooking on the go. I still write a diary, it's sporadic but somewhat consistent-ish in that there are several entries in 2020. Lol.
  19. I actually didn't know Kdramas releases their scripts later! Agree on how the novels can better show the inner thoughts of characters. It must be very rich for SOOD's characters so I am definitely following this thread closely! No, I didn't watch In Time With You, I actually haven't watched much TW dramas in the last decade after K Dramas surpassed it. Happy Saturday everyone!
  20. It's a novelisation of the drama! I am following the thread and it's so interesting to see the actions being fleshed out and really being in HYX's head.
  21. @abs-oluteM @left_phalange Not that we need any more confirmation that the WG ship is sailing, but I was really excited to hear the PD ask for a 'more melo' version! This surgery scene really was to have that tender, tension-filled quality to it!
  22. If you squint behind Kyungho in the dance scene, there's a very interesting sign there. I don't recall that the drama production ever ruled out featuring the pandemic. And we have been having discussions about whether Covid-19 would be featured ever since S1 started. As I was reading the thread, it struck me that ShinLee could create their own fictional virus that is weaker and would then allow them to work in storylines to show how the rl pandemic have affected medical workers, hospital operations and society, while still maintaining a normal-ish world. I am thinking back to SARS where it was threatening for a couple of months, less contagious and contained before it escalated into a pandemic. A couple of other fans did point out that perhaps this sign is for real life and not a production prop. I guess we will find out in less than a month! I can't believe it's less than a month now!
  23. Nah, you are not weird. I am sure more are going to pop out of the woodwork with this thread! @mademoiselle @NiteWalker I have so many journals that I started and are unfinished. Mostly travel journals because I start getting tired in the middle of the trip and rather go to sleep. Lol! I bought a 5-year journal last year that is meant for scribbling 1 or 2 sentences per day and you can look back on your life. I don't do it every day of course. But with this being the second year, it's been quite interesting to look back on last year and being locked down. I wrote about joining the forums and finding new friends YESSSSS this feeling!
