  1. Compilation of the food trucks sent to the Hospital Playlist set so far! Mido's fan cafe just tweeted but the truck was sent on 28 Feb.
  2. Yeah, I think he was about to finally do it. I don't know if it was 10 years but it was too long!
  3. I like to think Ha-won did get her since they were friends for so long. But like Han Ji-Pyeong, if he didn't make a move, he's got no one to blame but himself. Except I was lying in bed and watching on my phone!
  4. YESSSS THEY SO PRETTY. AND I JUST FINISHED BEER AND SPECS HA-WON. I AM SCREAMINGGGGG. GAHHHHHH! SO ADORABLE!
  5. A casualty of the cut in episodes or perhaps her own trauma about her parents surface. Let me watch and I will get back to you! They are a beautiful couple! And I like this slow-burn having a very valid reason why its so slow. It's a terrible waste of Soon-ho and the actress, I wish they paced her character development better. I don't enjoy the arc too. It's so darn long to get there. I am looking forward to the cute scenes you mentioned. I just finished the part where Ha-won shared about his mother and they held hands!
  6. I may have looked for spoilers because I was getting impatient at the rate of reveal. It seems to me that they are trying not to villanise him too much and portray him more as this troubled individual. I think they could have delved more into him and Ji-soo's marriage though and how it broke down. Or maybe they were going for a flashback in the later episodes. But it just doesn't work so well when the pace is so slow and so easy for people to give up. Yes, thank goodness, they cut it. It would have been so much better paced if they conceptualised it as 12 right from the start. Which brings me to Soon-ho's character existing only to prop him up? I am more interested in her character! They dropped some hints of her own difficult past earlier in the drama but then nothing...Like why did she work on a farm, why does she suddenly want to live in Seoul, why does she love plants so much, why is she so alone? I am really enjoying Jung Hae-in and Chae Soo-bin's acting though. They are really masters at expressing emotions so delicately! I took vacation days for the next couple of Mondays so I think that's going to add to that weird Tuesday as Monday feeling. Haha! Hahaha! It was a spur of the moment decision when I borrowed my brother's screen and I was blown away by it. But 24 inches is more than enough for me, coming from a 13 inches laptop and a phone! I think I will be more encouraged to watch dramas or have varieties playing in the background as I putter around.
  7. That is me! I am still on Ep 9 lol. @JenL @SilverMoonTea @mademoiselle I agree that it wasn't quite healthy for Ha-won to be so hung up on Ji-soo. But it didn't seem to me like he had any closure, either confessing and getting turned down or to see her happy with her husband. By not seeing her, he always had this image of Norway Ji-soo in his mind rather than current Ji-soo. I think I might be at Silver's stage of getting a teensy bit irritated with how long the drama is dragging out the mystery around Ji-soo's husband. I can't believe they thought they could go on for 16 episodes and keep viewers' attention. What's keeping me going is really watching Ha-won and Seo-woo fall in love slowly, Seo-woo's housemates (I really enjoy watching Lee Jung-eun's character look out for Eun-joo) and Soon-ho and her plants. I adore how much plants are part of the show's aesthetics! Isn't it such a weird schedule? Tuesday felt like Monday to me. And then having to schlep my laptop back in the middle of the week. I am definitely less productive at home now that there are actual office days. It's just...you can never quite establish a rhythm. OMG GUYS. I just bought a new 24" screen and my life has changed! I can watch dramas on a big (to me) screen now! I can't believe it took me this long to buy one!
  8. I am so grateful you still remember to summon me even though I have flown your kite a couple of times But this looks super cute, much more than I expected especially since the posters gave off such a dreamy vibe. PBY is so adorable! SIG not really my cup of tea but I think he has that otherworldly look that works quite well here!
  9. No trailer drop or announcement for S2 on 1 April, so we are still waiting. Not even sure how likely it is for a May premier if they don't announce anything within this week. But there has been some filming sightings! @abs-oluteM@LaLa@im0202@SilverMoonTea@SnowBlob@stroppyse
  10. I am somewhere in the middle of 9 now. I think you are going to overtake me at your current speed. Hahaha! I agree that its the endurance of the ML's love that attracted FL to him (since her parents passed away and everyone leaves her eventually).
  11. OOH! We are getting this Shinee cutie in the drama! His character Wook appears very early in the webtoon and helps to kickstart Yumi's relationship with Woong.
  12. I guess it will just be off-screen. In the books, there weren't any such scenes either but Simon does appear in the Pall Mall game. Daphne had some appearances. I don't remember everything but one is when Colin went to her for advice. In other casting news: https://deadline.com/2021/04/bridgerton-charithra-chandran-cast-edwina-rupert-young-jack-season-2-netflix-shondaland-1234726344/ "Newcomer Charithra Chandran has landed the role of Edwina in Season 2 of Bridgerton, Netflix and Shondaland’s hugely popular Regency-era period drama series based on Julia Quinn’s romance novels, I have learned. Rupert Young (Merlin) also has been tapped for a major new role on the series, created by Chris Van Dusen, I hear." I am not sure I like the sound of a major new role because this will further alter canon. But maybe I need to get over that.
  13. I must say I am not entirely surprised by the news. But I thought there would still be cameo appearances like in the books. Especially in the Pall Mall game, Simon was a player in there! Who's going to replace him now. :(
  14. I am now at 8.5! How's everybody been? It was office week so I disappeared again. Next week, we start working on a 75% schedule. So 3 days in the office, 2 days at home (Mon, Thurs for me). Honestly, I wish we just kept on 50-50. It just feels more consistent to alternate between home and office on a weekly basis. Oh wells...the bright spot for being at home at Thursdays means I don't have to rush home for Hospital Playlist content!
  15. We will have to wait another drama for that. Sigh he looks so good in those trench coats. Casual Seon-ho is cute too! But gahhh just those dimples will make anything look good! Yikes that's scary to hear. I am not into the idea of this noona-dongsaeng romance though. Sigh, why did YKS give up this role. It would have been great to see them toe to toe with each other.
  16. Yay, you started! I am currently on Ep 8. Watching this drama on start and stop is not good. I forgot everything that happened leading up to it, and because it was so subtle I am kinda confused again as to how the leads got to this place. Drama gods, give me the energy and concentration to power through the last set of eps this weekend!
  17. My heart is very ready to be fluttered! Come at me, drama!
  18. Thanks Tofu! As far as I can tell based on Ep 14, its the group of assassins that the priest / fortune teller guy leads and that trained Gajin to be the assassin that she is. I am all caught up except for the first 8 episodes! I am excited to hear that the first re-filmed ep is already out! I am guessing they must be trying to release it before the final ep airs? So how awesome was it to see Gajin and Ondal working as a team together in the palace. I love this "them against the world" action. But I am also braced for the angst that is likely to happen based on the previews. Please please please don't do it, Show. I figured they wouldn't be so dumb to let Nanny find the secret love letter for Go Won Pyo and the Queen to go scot free. But what a shock it must have been for Gajin to realise that her trusted palace confidantes can't quite be trusted after all. It's really refreshing for me the way they have developed Gajin and Ondal's characters as equal partners. She clearly takes the lead in masterminding all the action so far while Ondal supports her. But yet she also exhibits female domesticity in keeping house and taking care of Mochin while Ondal was training in the woods, and then taking care of him after he drank with the King. But neither is Ondal exactly a beta male either. He has so many of his own heroic moments of well, contributing to the battle strategy, fighting in the war and showing leadership in his new role as General. I was glad when Jin pointed out to Gajin that she shouldn't neglect Ondal, because as independent and strong they each are individually, they are stronger together as a team and the only ones they can truly trust and rely on. Hmm, what to say about General Go? He seems to still care for Gajin when he wanted to rush to the Plains. So his vow to kill them confused me. I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he's misleading his father into complacency (he did try to warn him about that). I think he does have feelings for Lady Hae but he's not above manipulating her feelings, much like the relationship between Go Won Pyo and the Queen. Like father, like son?
  19. I watched Episode 11 today. Random thoughts that popped up in my head as I watched. Gosh, General Go seems to be playing many sides huh? If his heart is truly still with Ga-jin, is it safe to assume he is ultimately protecting the King and feeding his father just enough information to keep him from suspecting him? Can anyone share with me what does Cheonjubang mean in reference to the priest? Is it some of sect or group from the word 'bang'? He has a rather curious backstory, I wonder what made the King (or perhaps another enemy) go after him and his family. I don't think the backstory is as simple as he related it. I was really touched when the King asked Ga-jin about how On-dal was as a husband to her. For all his failings or weaknesses, to me he seems to at least want to be the best father he could be. I really loved the scene where Ga-jin cried to Mochin about being so happy to finally have a mother and Mo-chin to acknowledge her as a daughter. It was such a powerful scene for Ga-jin's character and how young she still is, despite her warrior princess exterior.
  20. Yikes! At least she has something to look forward to. This is how her character, Ruby, looks like. It looks like a pretty close match. Hi @movingwheel Looking forward to watch this drama with you!
  21. Is this a new thing? Being photographed before going to a script-reading? Reminds me of how idols post for photos before music shows. Hahaha!
  22. Gosh! I am kind of curious about how these production companies assessed their projects against possible public sentiment. Shin Hye Sun is also becoming collateral damage here.
