    Who's YEH? Yeah, I always see comments saying she looks like Suzy but I never saw it. They look so different for me. I think I've seen some comparing her to PSH too, but not as much as Suzy. And my point in the last post wasn't really about my opinion on SM's beauty, but what her characters are "designed" to be (at least in some of those I watched) compared to other characters in the show. So yeah, hopefully I'm not being misunderstood. I never thought that she isn't good looking, quite the opposite actually. She is my absolute favorite! I'm just referring to how some of her characters are "designed" not to be. Anyway. This is why I didn't want to bring this up. 😂😂 I feel like I'm being misunderstood even if maybe I'm not. 😆😆 It's hard to put in words.

He played such a crucial role even after his early death. I do wish he was there during the special show/episode!

    Was she called that in Playful Kiss? I haven't watched PK but I've actually noticed something similar as well in a lot of her shows but I didn't just dare bring it up before. Maybe it just depends on her character and her relationship with other characters. It's been a while since I watched the shows, but I just remember noticing it when I watched them. Not sure about the details now though.In TSHLYE, both the ML and her brother called her unattractive multiple times. Her brother could have said it just as endearment, and the ML could have said it cause he's sort of a playboy and can get other "prettier" girls. In MFIS, I think they were going for her character as the geeky, unattractive and even a bit masculine one while her sisters were supposed to be the prettier ones. That image sort of started to change when her relationship with LJ started to develop, esp when she got rid of her glasses. In BTIMFL, I think it was the same with her friends. She's sort of supposed to be the neutral looking one. While the other two were supposed to be prettier and sexier. Something like that. I think also in D-Day someone teases her looks? Maybe ML as well, I can't remember.Honestly, and I hope no one flames me for this, but when I first watched SM, I thought she was just "ok" as well. I'm sure others here have known her since her early days, but my first encounter with her was in BTIMFL. Even if I thought her looks were just okay, I instantly fell in love with her and BTIMFL became an instant favorite. I even watched it twice back to back.. like right after last episode I rewatched it again. After that, I couldn't get enough of her and watched more of her shows right after. I won't name names, but I know there are some celebrities that just simply exude beauty, be it male or female. SM isn't someone that will stand out because of her beauty, compared to some other celebrities that look like gods and goddesses no mattter what they do. Even in her shows, you can say that a lot of side characters are more "attractive" than her. But maybe that's what makes her so appealing? It makes her and her characters relatable and reachable. Her beauty grows on you and her charm pulls you in. Hopefully no one misunderstands what I'm trying to say. 😅

    😂😂 Nice one. I only know Jang Ki-Yong from My Mister, so his character here is completely different from how I know him. He was able to make his character in My Mister feel dangerous and unstable (vs the other "goons" or even villains in some other shows I've seen) so I feel like he'd be able to pull it off when his character ever loses his calm and cool and show his inner gumiho... Though their version of the gumiho so far is really cute, fluffy and overly huggable 😂 It's nice too that the two gumiho (s?) do have some "foxy" facial features. For beings/ characters that live longer than normal human life, it's always an interesting aspect how they live their life and how they perceive time and history. So it's really fun that ML's work is related to that, he even has a collection of historic items. 👌 I like it so far. 🙂

    @Lin M. Gah, that's harsh... Is this normal in their industry or is this already over the top? I mean, I have no idea how bad the reputation of the family is for them to do this (and I don't really want to dig too deep) but a protest is really shocking. Hopefully the people that are doing that are actual fans, have actual good intent, and have actual backing for their actions. (Vs I dunno, just people hating on them, or just trolls in general) This is really sad though... Gah. I hate it.

    Uwa, I was just looking at those pics/vids at the My Roommate is a Gumiho JH page, and I didn't know that the girl has a BF. I'd agree that yeah, they might have broken up already. 🙃

    @Sominah @Lin M 😅😂 I don't think I have the capacity to make the videos. LF was just really special for me that I surprised even myself when I made the videos. Maybe I knew it well enough to navigate and find the right parts, and I don't think I'll be able to do that for another show at this point. I did like Lee Jong Suk from Romance is a Bonus Book and While You Were Sleeping, but I don't know Lee Joon Gi. 😅

    Gah. Love you guys. I haven't really watched a lot of kdramas/shows, but still a good share I think? For me, the most memorable OST's are from SM's projects. A lot of the songs you guys just posted have been on my rotating playlist since I watched the associated show. I actually just posted one in the LF thread. It really is also a bonus that she sang in some of them. I particularly like 'Marriage' from BTIMFL, but especially the live version. The original is slow and soothing, but the live version is even more laid back but with just the amount of push at the right parts.

    Thank you @Sominah! I really appreciate your thoughts, and honestly, maybe its just what we need at this moment. You are correct, we will never know what happened. Despite the recent news, one still can't deny what we saw in LF. All the crumbs and observations shared in this forum still bear weight and LF is still LF. ❤ We will never know what happened and what they truly felt, but the effect the show had will forever be ingrained in us. Honestly though, I find it funny that @Sominah joined with such impeccable timing. Just like when we were teasing @Yoon Ji of being SM herself, sometimes I feel like Sominah is SM herself, and she's consoling us right now. 🤣🤣 is it cause of the profile pic and the objective yet comforting words? 😂 @Lin M I feel like we can still rewatch it. I watched the recently posted ship video and I still somehow smiled throughout, though of course its a bit bittersweet. I'm thinking that the rewatch value of LF and all the SGxSM moments wasn't "reduced", it just wasn't taken to the next level. (for me at least...) But yeah, it's funny how something changes depending on where we are in our life. The song below is from Fix You OST. It's been in my playlist ever since I watched the drama but it didn't really have any meaning for me. But now it pulls so many strings!! 🤣🤣

    Hi everyone!! It's nice to have this thread and to see a lot of familiar and also new names! I'm learning a lot about SM here. 😀😀 Does anyone know what brands she endorses/currently working with? Most of us know make p:rem which has actual commercials up on YT. There's also this company https://www.instagram.com/wifidosirak/?hl=en which has a lot of cute pictures of her. One video was posted on the other thread, it was for the new year greeting I think? Their most recent post is only a couple of hours ago. Any other brands we know of?

    I've been busy but have watched the final ep, plus the special episode (ep 21) and I actually haven't processed everything properly yet, and not sure if I ever will. 😆 I did like the last ep. But it didn't have that much emotional impact on me anymore. (Maybe my emotions got all jumbled up with all the confusion this drama brought 😆) the closest I got to tearing up was Hongju's moment with her dad. Also really sad for JE, her life was constantly shattered by the writer. And I did like the "twist" that Dr. Lee didn't give a lab result test to the person in the car (which was also a twist) but a list of the kids with the psycho gene. @Darkarcana the episode list on Viki says there's still another ep coming. Did you hear anything about that or is that just an error on Viki's part?

    @Seung-Min thank you for your story about your daughter. I am really really touched. I'm very happy that the channel and content I made - that really started just for fun - has given positive vibes to people. I'm sure @Poisonous Ivy feels the same way, and all others that post content of this ship, be it on YT, IG, Wattpad or anywhere else. But of course, ultimately, all the content is thanks to SG and SM and their wonderful moments from LF that made all of us feel like watching a fairy tale. LF couple is my first and will probably be my last ship. Not because of the heartbreaking news, but just because of what they genuinely made me feel when I watched the show, which I doubt I'll find in another show again. I've watched a good share of shows/dramas (Korean and International) and even if I really like the chemistry of the actors and actresses, I've never thought of them as anything beyond that. Even those that eventually did end up together. SG and SM will forever be special to me. It's been about a day already since the news, and honestly, I've taken it much better than I thought I would. Maybe like @Seung-Min I'm also still just in the denial stage. 🤣 last night I did dream that Somin liked the Dispatch posts on IG, and I remember being so sad because of that 🤣🤣 (Unless she actually did like them??) So maybe I am more affected than I think I am. 🤣 I'd just like to share the song I was planning on using next if I ever had the time to make a new video, but now it looks like I won't be able to. 😂 It's more of a "crush" song and not being able to fully show your emotions kind of song. The song kinda worked then when you think that they were really holding back their feelings during the show. Doesn't really work now but for me it still sort of does? Depending on the angle you want to look at it. I dunno. Just gonna leave it here, maybe some of you will like it regardless if it has meaning or not 😂 and make it to one of your song playlists. Thank you everyone for really making this forum and this ship come alive. It's been an honor. 🙏 I will probably still be stopping by here and other topics in JH so no goodbyes from me. I'll be seeing you all around. 😉 And who knows, maybe this ship can still sail in a couple of years (or maybe even months?) 😆

    I really do hope we get to hear an official statement from LSG's side soon. One thing I've learned from watching Mouse is that you should never assume until you see the whole picture. 🤣 I feel that I'll be able to properly and completely accept the news if it comes from his side. But of course at this point, I'm very happy for LSG. Since to me this feels at least somewhat planned/orchestrated (which hopefully it is) rather than just random leaks or gossip, then it should be a big relief for both of them. @Jed2012 I saw that too. I'm actually more curious about what LSG is wearing. 🤣

    Someone give that fortune teller a raise! Very shocking news indeed. The earlier report said about a year of dating, but the agency's official statement said 5-6 months. If it's the latter, it feels kind of short. If all the crumbs we've gathered was actually for her, then I feel that the relationship could have been in the works for quite some time now. No one knows but them. Anyone know who she is and best shows of hers to check out? And is there official statement from SG's side yet?
