  1. Yes I have finished it @abs-oluteM And yes, it's worth watching @JenL Yes I love the exhibition too... though I wonder, without publicity, who will come for the exhibition? I wish they show people coming to see the exhibition, even if it's just the nearby residents.
  2. Lovely ending... though the ending of 15 and beginning of 16 made me shed some tears. I really appreciate the drama is not stingy with the kisses, all placed at appropriate occasions. Love many of the wardrobes too. All in all, I am very happy to have watched this, especially the cute eye-candy couple. Ship, ship, ship... except that Song Kang is serving in the army now, sigh... I totally agree with your every word above!
  3. You guys won't believe it... I'm all caught up Binged it at one go. The story actually quite interesting, and I like the pacing and the way the story is told. There are some illogical stuff, but not enough to distract me from the fun of watching. Haha... probably something happened in the future that made Ji Won thought he is a bad person? So this time round he needs to drill it into her that he is a good person... So I guess we're staying in 2013? the pics not showing on my laptop...
  4. Ep.14 was not too bad in terms of the tears shed, haha... Honestly I was getting very tired of Yong Pil's father holding the grudge towards Samdal's mother. By right, they were sworn sisters first, and they knew each other longer than he married her. He couldn't think that she would be as sad or even sadder than him with the death??The scripts are good though, when Samdal's mother said that if she did kill his wife, she should be held in prison already. And there were others, like when Yong Pil's father was told "like father like son". I like how his coming around on this matter was done quite naturally, doesn't feel forced at all. I teared up when he finally shouted out his approval to them dating. Indeed, what Yong Pil and Samdal have is a reflection of his love for his wife. I appreciate that we finally clear that obstacle this episode and no longer dragged on to the finale week. I was happy tearing up and smiling, but the epilogue left a bad taste. Urgh! Do we still have to see her? Okay okay, we need justice for Samdal, so I will bear with it a little longer. This time give me something more than splashing vinegar, please?
  5. I lost count how may times I cried while watching ep. 13 last night. And yes, the one that got me sobbing was the scene where Samdal's mother finally wailed out how she misses her best friend too. She definitely held it in for too long. Since ep.14 is gonna be another cry fest, I will wait and watch it later.
  6. I watched some clips... He does seem to portray a different kind of character here compared to his previous roles. Calmer...? I should have more time to watch dramas soon. Will try this, though I have to be honest, it's really hard for me to watch PMY who gets skinnier and skinnier. I know she has to lose weight for the role here, but still.... I had a difficult time and took quite long time adjusting to her in her last drama. It's similar to what I feel about UEE at one period of time, where she was so skinny, her cheekbones became so obvious. Now she is back to "normal" (for me). Sorry, I don't mean this to come across like body shaming, but it's just hard for me to see them as the person I remember them by.
  7. I've had enough of time slip dramas with past life unfinished love line. Please please hold me back from watching this kind of genre this year. Maybe I should go back to my dailies and/or weekend family dramas with whatever makjangness they might offer
  8. Was really busy end of the year and into the first week. I only tried catching up last weekend, but it is really hard to go through ep.11-12.... The story loses steam already. It was fun and interesting at first. So sad.... Agree about the editing being choppy, especially with the flashback... Don't understand why Mountain God has to wait this long for the revenge to happen. And he was also steered by the fox/principal to become suspicious of the servant. Why can't he investigate by himself? I still don't get why he couldn't just carry out his revenge there and then. Just because of the unborn baby? Anyway, I will put this on hold and come back later when I am in the mood.
  9. I am assuming the super tall building is next to a river, and he fell into the river, and he shall be back to hunt down Do Hee. 😄 the rule of thumb that no dead body means not dead dead. Or maybe he sold his soul to another demon 🤔😁 I didn’t know people are saying this episode is angsty. It was alright but I teared up at the end, also when they were back hugging in bed, the part where he said no matter how many times she calls his name, he will answer. Which was why the ending hit me hard.
  10. can’t help myself not to cry at the end of ep.14... when she was calling his name repeatedly but no response heard 😭😭😭
  11. I will wait for more episodes to decide... I don't have as much time now, so gotta be selective As it is, I am still yet to watch second part of My Dearest.... !!!
  12. I know I am enjoying a couple so much when I watched all their BTS Love them!!
  13. @gilaswan THANK you...!! Now it all makes more sense I am feeling better for my 12 hours invested in this drama.
  14. Agree with this. I cried here In fact I don't understand how Yeon Woo can stand not falling in love with this person... who looks exactly the same, talks exactly the same, sounds exactly the same as Modern Tae Ha. If I were her, I would've fallen for him. one of the things I like from this drama is they don't skim on the kissing scenes, time/scenario appropriate and good ones too. Major issue here too!! I kept hoping the camera would pan to the pool and show her appearing in the water again and Tae Ha jumping in to save her. They can then hug and kiss in the pool. I really don't need the beautiful reunion in pretty hanbok with red flowers blooming. Maybe they wanted to emphasise the part of the man crying (with the narration) but gosh, it would have been more "realistic" (what am I talking about in a fantasy genre, LOL) or logical that the moment she hits the water because of Hwang, she would appear in water again. Yes, what's wrong with "moving on"? She doesn't know whether she could go back to modern times or not. Why not show some happy times with Joseon Tae Ha. Especially since we know he won't live long. Agree. Everyone knows and they themselves know they're husband and wife, very much in love. No need to reiterate their vows towards each other. Spent too much time in Joseon era. Like eg. does her mother need to know that she travelled to the future?
  15. I was about to say the same... It's like one after another in the dramas I am currently watching. In Netflix translation, it is "If heaven is where God dwells, I refuse to go there" That smile.... what does it mean?... but yes, very well done by Song Kang.
  16. It's okay. We'll just imagine she is in her first year college and he is in his last year high school, soon graduating and going to the same college. So they can date no problem
  17. @Tofu @mademoiselle I just finished it!! It was hard ploughing through the last few episodes... but I just feel that I have to finish it, haha... Agree with what you said. It really does have a lot of potential, especially with these two leads. Even though I don't fully grasp what I was watching anymore, their scenes can still make me tear up. The writing became draggy towards the end and lost the focus of the story (for me), but surprisingly, not a train wreck? The ending, did we go back in time to when they were younger? Or is it the next life already?
  18. Ep.10 is my favorite so far. And to set the record straight, at least in my record Samdal is the one who dumped Yong Pil. You guys are right. I think they now apply filters to the screen to make actors look younger. Nowadays, when the older people are shown their younger self, I notice that their faces are smoother. One example is grandma in Strong Girl Nam Soon. There are others but I cannot recall off hand.
  19. Chingu-deul I bring you a New Year gift below (since Christmas was too far away already, haha) It's basically the scenes cut from a 40+ episode C-drama called Centimetre of Love (anyone watched it yet?). Only the OTP scenes in the 4-hour long video. None the makjang, none the toxic side characters nor annoying side stories. What a delightful find! I stumbled upon it while browsing YouTube and really enjoyed it. Acting is natural, both ML and FL a delight to watch. After they got together, it's still a solid and mature relationship while dealing with their own family and career challenges. Very heartwarming. When they first kissed, I think my heart raced the same. So so happy to see them (esp.the ML) finally wanting to be with each other Hope you will enjoy it too! Now I need to go find more of this kind of edited video clip so I can watch without the stress of draggy plots
  20. Me!! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I haven’t been feeling there’s any progress even as early as ep.5. Thus not able to invest in any of the characters yet.
  21. This is so funny! And they are so in sync with each other... the way they both look at the camera with the same expression 😄
  22. Yes yes I did... I do like how it wrapped up. Though I have to say finding men like Dong and Hwang is gonna be so difficult. They were sooooo understanding and accommodating of their girlfriends? Is that even possible? 😄 I especially love Dr. Dong. YWJ really brought out the quirkiness of this character very well.
  23. Yes, I used to think highly of him coz he is a good actor too. But after finding out what he’s done in the past, I have to admit I cannot see him the same. Hopefully he’s truly repented. Yes, he must have felt so helpless that he had to choose this way. I feel sad but I feel disappointed too that he didn’t seek or have enough support from people around him. If I were his wife, I don’t think I can continue living in SK, much less make a living as an actress. I would bring the kids overseas and raise them there peacefully. Not sure what are the repercussions for the family in regards to the money he owed as penalty to various parties. I sure hope she can be stronger. Tbh, this whole thing still feel unreal to me. It’s as if I am watching a drama and when we reached the last episode, everyone will be alright and all smiles 😔 I know for a fact this is real, but just can’t help feeling/wishing I am only watching yet another drama. I think I’m going to cry again when they pay tribute to him during SBS award night. Maybe I shouldn’t watch it this year.
