@abs-oluteM I agree female lead is not so smart to be going to strange places alone at night and touching obvious dead bodies. Other than that, I've watched up to half of ep 2 and like it for the suspense. In addition to the husband, there's a handful of questionable people like the politician, father in law and mysterious informant. It's interesting to me how they'll connect in unfolding the mystery. With my experience from Misty and Trolley, I wouldn't be surprised if the husband is a cheater and murderer. Of course though, I always have this tiny bit of hope for a twist to a twist that he's not. Only because the father in law didn't approve their marriage and seems to want them to separate. So, I wonder if he has a hand in the murders and wanting to sabotage female lead. Also, could he have something to do with the female lead's father's death? JSJ is partly why I'm watching this. His profession as a mystery writer makes his character more interesting to the whole story. But, I'm also a sucker for a cop/detective so I'm liking YWJ's character as well. I understand he's the female lead's ex-boyfriend so it'll also be interesting to see them work together. 16 episodes are a lot to fill so let's see how this show holds up.

Since you recommend too, I will watch Queen of Tears. I think my mom might be watching this already. She likes Kim Soo Hyun. LOL. I last saw him in Moon Embracing the Sun so a long time ago. I do like Kim Ji Won and Park Sung Hoon. Sorry, I meant JSJ for actor, Jang Seung Jo. Looks like I need to upgrade to Viki Plus to watch Nothing Uncovered. Same. I hope Park Hyung Sik's next project will be a another good one and for Yoon Park to have more likable roles. Likely Nothing Uncovered for the mystery and JSJ. Since you recommend Queen of Tears though, I will try to find time to watch this too. I thought the same! He looks especially handsome with straight hair. I'm going to miss him/Jeong Woo so much. Totally agree with you. Both guys are lovable in their own unique/special ways. I'm happy the drama made them at par with each other in this sense. It took some time for Yoon Park to eventually get his deserved screen time, but it was worth the wait. Writer did a great job with his character as a quirky NeoTuber, single parent struggling to understand his teenage daughter, petty best friend and romantic partner. LOL. I loved that in the end, he was happy knowing Hong Ran liked him exactly as he is. I thought it was good closure for him.

I think I got everything that I wanted in the finale. Proposal. Jeong Woo finding family with Ha Neul’s. So sweet where she told him that she wanted him to join her family. It was just as precious as his proposal. A new and healthier Ha Neul. Unlike her old self, I love that she is telling herself to express how she feels inside going forward. Although it might not change anything, it allows her to get upset for a moment and move past it. She has her peace. Jeong Woo officially overcoming his PTSD and re-opening his clinic. How great of him to invite Dr. Kang, someone he trusts, to work with him again. Dae Young and Hong Ran’s “family” photo with their kiddos. Dae Young is happy Hong Ran likes him just the way he is. Exactly how we see him on his NeoTube channel. LOL. For Hong Ran, this warmhearted man will have a happy life with someone just like him. No wedding but we got wedding photos, which were gorgeous! Lovely story. I think the epilogue summed the plot the best. To show that we could be happy today and suddenly sad tomorrow, but it’s okay… If there’s sadness, there will always be happiness as well. The characters figured this out and found the strength to endure sadness and misfortune. And, that was enough. I’m happy Jeong and Ha Neul finally caught their sunrise that they originally missed in the beginning. Very poetic. I will miss this show immensely.

Yes, I agree. It was the final straw to realizing how terrible his mother was. He was disappointed, but it also seemed like he actually drew a line between him and his parents, which was why he basically rejected to see them. Kyung Min did have great potential so I agree it's unfortunate that he was essentially his own worst enemy and took a wrong path in his life. Based on the flashbacks, it seemed Kyung Min wanted to be in Jeong Woo’s parents good favor as their high positions could benefit his career. I thought this was why he succumbed to Jeong Woo’s mother’s pressure to not meet his father and why did he not tell Jeong Woo about his father’s death. So, as much as I would like to think his sincerity to Jeong Woo was genuine, I don't think he would've been completely honest with him as propelling his career was more important. Regardless, I do think Kyung Min’s character ended up being good storytelling in showing us that not everything is black and white, which is why viewers feel both hate and pity for him. In a way, one can stretch and say that he did try to prevent the medical accident by sending a note to the nurse who was involved in the plan to administer a lower dosage of anticoagulants (heparin) and maybe it would not have caused excessive bleeding. The thing is, based on the trial, heparin wasn't supposed to be used during the surgery at all. It was planted at his clinic. I love Jeong Woo - he's such an admirable guy. PHS did an excellent job bringing him to life. I really hope that we do get a proposal and wedding too. My preference would be to see Hong Ran and Dae Young's daughter meet each other before the parents get together, but however it will happen, I am looking forward to it. His confession was adorably sweet so I am curious how they'll make it official. I can't remember the details of Dae Young's divorce, but I believe it had to do with his high maintenance/wealthy in-laws and it did happen during the time of his residency.

@mademoiselle @abs-oluteM About Kyung Min, you ladies are kinder than me. I did feel moments of sympathy for him during the flashbacks, but I can't bring myself to truly feel sorry for him overall. Jeong Woo's mom was terrible, but if Kyung Min's core/essence was any good, he would not have spiked Jeong Woo's drink, steal Ha Neul's dissertation and set-up the medical accident. If he had any regard for Jeong Woo, he would've backed off when he found out the target was Jeong Woo's clinic, but he didn't and ruined careers with no remorse. He only apologized to Jeong Woo when everything was revealed. So, any sorrow that I did feel momentarily for Kyung Min didn't last and dissipated quickly. I don't think Jeong Woo was at any fault for what happened to Kyung Min. I believe Kyung Min acknowledged this too. It was Jeong Woo's mom fault for not letting Jeong Woo know about the father's death. However, if he knew, would their friendship turned out differently? I didn't realize Jeong Woo's parents left Seoul already. I guess his decision to not take the opportunity to see them was his way of acknowledging that he will no longer be affected by them and doesn't need them. He is in control of his own life. I'm already sad this weekend is the finale. It has brought me some joy the past 2 months. I'll miss it and don't know what else can fill it.

@abs-oluteM Her family is chaotic! Did you watch episode 14? Do you think we will get a proposal? I hope the end scene and preview isn’t just teasing us. Would it be asking too much for a wedding as well? LOL. This is true and I agree. If you choose forgive, forgive on your own will and timing. One of my favorite scenes from today was Jeong Woo’s talk with Ha Neul’s mother. He continues to have a tough time processing his emotions about Kyung Min’s death. He still holds good memories of their past but also a lot of hurt from the present. I liked how Ha Neul’s mother comforted him and provided some advice. If Jeong Woo chooses to forgive, do it for no one else but himself because hate and resentment is exhausting. In my opinion, it is poison in one’s heart. For example, Kyung Min had a close bond with Jeong Woo, but the hate that grew inside him ruined all that was good. Anyway, I think the writing does an excellent job expressing the leads’ thoughts and feelings through the dialogue. Here, Jeong Woo’s conflicted emotions about Kyung Min were done well. I liked it that it was the mom who consoled him this time and during a family trip setting. Mom is a sweetheart. One definitely scores to have her as a mother-in-law. So, Jeong Woo’s parents happen to come back to Seoul exactly when he was proven innocent. Such great timing, right? I hope we do get to see them meet up. I am not expecting any kind of warm family reunion, but it seems Jeong Woo is beginning to accept that his parents (especially his mother) aren’t the supporting/stick by your kid type. The opposite of Ha Neul’s family. I just want him to officially recognize this and move on to build his own loving family. Last but not least, Dae Young and Hong Ran continue to be so cute, but let’s get together already. I found it funny when it was about time for Dae Young to leave Hong Ran’s place, but she suddenly tells him she has lots of tea bags so he should stay for some tea. Then, Dae Young says in that case, he should help her out with the tea bags. OMG LOL. Okay, so I do really want them to get together, but a part of me also wants Hong Ran to meet Dae Young’s daughter first. Seems like they will make it official soon so let’s see! From here on, I think the remaining episodes will focus on the leads’ rebuilding their careers and forming their lives together. I would love a conflict-free finale weekend! What an emotional episode…Jeong Woo-ah! Due to the accident, it started off a bit angsty with Ha Neul’s family and Jeong Woo not knowing the extent of her injuries and when she will wake up. Thankfully, the show didn’t prolong her unconscious state - she eventually woke up. What warmed my heart was how Jeong Woo took care of Ha Neul’s family during this time. He comforted them (especially mom) while he was scared himself. If I were Ha Neul, knowing how natural Jeong Woo was at this would make me love him even more. As for the couple, what can I say, but I love their pattern of easily resolving misunderstandings through honest and thoughtful communication. Their timing of telling each other "I love you" was perfect. But, I think my favorite part was Jeong Woo finally receiving Ha Neul’s letter from high school. It was beautiful how words lost from the past found them in the present and comforted them through challenging times. Then, Jeong Woo and Kyung Min’s back story took me by surprise. I wasn’t expecting such a strong and close bond between them in the past. It seemed like Kyung Min truly adored Jeong Woo so it’s unfortunate that Kyung Min’s self-loathing and resentment destroyed it. If I understood his reasons correctly, he resented Jeong Woo because of his ability to remain cheerful/happy despite a strict and cold upbringing. It was something that Kyung Min couldn’t do for himself. The resentment was cemented by the death of his father. He couldn’t meet his father due to pressure from Jeong Woo’s mother to remain at their house to tutor Jeong Woo. At the end of the day, it was his decision to not go to his father, but if he were to blame someone, it was definitely not Jeong Woo. When Kyung Min died, it was heartbreaking to see Jeong Woo hurt and crying with the suit that Kyung Min had bought him. He must’ve felt torn with so many emotions – both love and hate. Of course, I can’t end the post without talking about Hong Ran and Dae Young. It was meant to be for Dae Young to get his kalguksu with Hong Ran. LOL. Seriously though, I really liked Hong Ran for opening-up about her past marriage and divorce. I feel it’s important for them to know each other’s past and if they accept/respect it, it’s taking a huge step forward together. It was lovely how they came to the restaurant with separate umbrellas but left under one umbrella together. The idea of shielding from the storm together made me smile. Needless to say, I really liked this episode. PHS' portrayal of Jeong Woo is perfection!

LOL. They must've been so exhausted filming this whole scene. It turned out well though. All was hilarious but the stethoscope as nunchucks and Jeong Woo kicking away Dae Young in his chair got me rolling 🤣. I'm going to miss these two guys.

I agree. I believe Dae Young also hesitated to reach out to Jeong Woo at first because he thought Kyung Min was another "hyung" who was able to comfort him during the trial. Dae Young thought Jeong Woo didn't need him, but obviously, Kyung Min's sincerity was all a lie. He probably broke in the clinic. I can't wait to find out what is in the recording! When Ha Neul met the reporter, he mentioned something about them being linked to gangsters in Macau. Maybe the connection isn't directly related to the pharmaceuticals company or casino but rivalry of some sort of illegal business? LOL. I've been enjoying everything despite some things thrown at us, but I won't like noble idiocy in the last episodes. So, let's really hope not!

Those are really cute BTS photos of PSH and PHS! I will have to agree with you. Clearly, they were two peas a pod back then, but yes, Dae Young was the petty one. LOL. (It was sad to learn that he was going a divorce during the fallout of their friendship too, but you know, sometimes things will work out for the better later.) This part was confusing to me. I was surprised that there were a total of seven cameras too. It sounds like the police is ultimately missing one more and it's supposed to have juicy (likely incriminating) footage involving Kyung Min. I want to know what exactly it is so bad. Me neither. Hopefully, it'll be explained in the upcoming episodes. It was interesting to learn that Kyung Min stole Ha Neul's dissertation to become professor but only because he needed this title to be director at Haesang Pharmaceuticals and develop the controversial drug there. However, the drug doesn't appear to be legitimate, but the goal is to manipulate the stock price by misleading the market that the drug is meeting its milestone phases. Tsk tsk. However, I don't understand how Jeong Woo's medical accident comes into play with this. So far, I took away that Haesang Pharmaceuticals' in-laws are from Macau. Jeong Woo's deceased patient was also from Macau. I guess we'll see... I'm glad you think no coma and no amnesia. LOL. I do think noble idiocy is possible, but hopefully not. They did promise to stick by each others' sides no matter what, no?

OMG, this is the second time that I need to process the end of an episode some more. I guess this is what might fill the last 4 episodes. I'm liking that there's a connection of both Jeong Woo's surgery and Ha Neul's dissertation to Kyung Min's pharma corruption scheming, but I'm hoping they don't drag out the coma and please...don't go the amnesia route. Onto the positive, I love the development of the single-parent couple (aka SOS couple LOL). They're so cute! I grinned like crazy when it was revealed that Dae Young was over at Hong Ran's place having a meal. I smiled when Dae Young told Hong Ran that he wanted to see her son again and catch more insects. It's great that Hong Ran is able to help Dae Young understand his teenage daughter better. The show must have Hong Ran and his daughter meet each other as well. Please complete the whole story for all of them. I also love Ha Neul's mom for inviting Jeong Woo to her birthday celebration as a surprise for Ha Neul but saying it was a gift from Jeong Woo to her. That was just so sweet of her. I wanted Jeong Woo to experience and gain family love from living in the same building. I'm happy he's getting it. I cracked up so hard at this part. The two being petty and childish lasted quite long too. LOL. If you watched Hospital Playlist, they reminded me of Ik Jun and Jun Wan...two professional doctors always fighting like little children. But for those who watched What Happens to My Family? (which I didn't), they probably resembled themselves as bickering brothers from that show together. Anyway, that was a hilarious backstory. It was funny how after they told it to Ha Neul and Hong Ran, both gals scooted their chairs away from them. LOL.

These were my favorite funny scenes from episode 9. First, Jeong Woo being petty and jealous. LOL. Then, when you add Jeong Woo and Dae Young together, it's a hoot. Apparently, they played bickering brothers in What Happens to My Family? almost 10 years ago. LOL.

I agree. Dae Young is just as funny and adorable as Jeong Woo. It's great that we're finally having more scenes of him with the leads. Also, I like that his story with Hong Ran and her son is progressing as well. I wonder if the daughter will come into this picture too. I think this contrast gives Jeong Woo's character dimension. Humans have basic emotions and seeing these different ones from him makes him feel more realistic. (I kind of want more about his family though. It would be interesting to see his parents come back from the U.S. and stir things up a bit. Not exactly for drama but to resolve his lack of family support.) You are not alone on this. I do think there's a chance the story will circle back to murder case. Also, knowing Kyung Min's wicked nature, he might not let Jeong Woo's punch slide so easily. He might plot some more.

I am enjoying this show so much because of PHS. He’s incredibly attractive as Jeong Woo. He’s so funny and so sweet. My kind of guy. What I liked about episode 10 is that even though he is kind, he isn’t a pushover. He let Ha Neul know that while he was willing to endure the hardships by her side, it was so easy for her to let him go. Although he eventually understood her reasons later, he brought up a good point. In a sincere relationship, I agree you can’t let go so hastily. Let’s hope no more breakups. On the flipside, I liked the part where Ha Neul let Jeong Woo know that she’s recovered a lot because of him. He cheered her up when she was at her lowest and the happiness that she felt with him made her realize that being a doctor doesn’t define who she is. There’s still life and meaning of oneself outside the hospital. As such, if he can’t overcome his trauma, he can’t let it be the end of his world either. He's still the incredible person that she knows. How great that these two are able to find each other and see each other as the light/inspiration to get better. Of course, I loved the part where Dae Young meets Hong Ran’s son. As expected, they bonded over insects. So cute! I am not sure how I feel about Hong Ran’s character is written though. I don’t think she’s a bad person, but how the leads repeatedly find out things because of her makes her less likeable. I hope the show will stop doing this to her. I was glad her mother quickly realized her mistake and owned up to it. Not all mothers would admit their wrong and apologize the way she did. And, I'm glad Ha Neul doesn't hold grudges and easily forgave her mother. I got teary at the mother/daughter scene too. It was emotional to see the mother truly understand her daughter's pain. First to acknowledge that Ha Neul was still struggling with her father's death and holding grief/guilt inside. Then, to let her know that being unemployed is okay. Peace within oneself is most important so she should put everything behind her and take this time to enjoy the simple things in life. What a beautiful scene. Although some obstacles in episode 10, I am happy they are finally working together too! PHS is a pretty good kisser PSH was a little better here. LOL.

Based on the article, it seems like the next episode will be somewhat of a roller coaster of emotions. Breakup, PTSD, missing each other and a blind date! I typically don't like angst, but I'm kind of looking forward to it. LOL.

I totally agree. It'll be interesting how the next half of the story handles Ha Neul opening up to Jeong Woo so that he truly knows her, especially her past with Kyung Min. Maybe with Jeong Woo and Ha Neul's relationship taking a back seat for now, the story will shift the focus on who Jeong Woo is individually and give us more context of him. I'm hoping he'll reconsider and take the job opportunity with Dae Young. It would make sense as it was thought Jeong Woo would likely end up working on Dae Young's clinic. Maybe this is where we see Jeong Woo having a relapse of his PTSD in the next episode. I really don't want him to collaborate with the company and so-called friends who had abandoned him. I still think Kyung Min had something to do with it. Otherwise, why give us that shower scene of him looking at the spy pen? There was also a scene of him smirking while watching the news coverage of Jeong Woo's case. There's 8 more episodes so let's see if this circles back to this. I'm fine if it's all in my head though. LOL.

I’m back after having some time to process episode 8 and concluded that I don’t necessarily think the breakup is all bad. The thing is Jeong Woo doesn’t truly know Ha Neul yet. By that, I mean the details of Ha Neul’s struggles. It looks like she’s still hurting from her father’s death and Kyung Min’s betrayal, but Jeong Woo probably assumes her depression is mainly stemming from her career situation. It’s the only thing he is aware of so far. I think this is why he felt it was best to turn down the work opportunity with Dae Young. While I don’t necessarily agree with his choice, I can understand him. He’s too kind and particularly sensitive about Ha Neul after seeing her breakdown. (It’s actually quite impressive that she’s his priority over a job, especially while he’s in debt.) Now that he and Ha Neul aren’t together, maybe he’ll reconsider Dae Young's offer and work with him. It’ll be good for him to get back on his feet, to practice and continue to deal with his PTSD. It will also be good to give Ha Neul some time to work on herself as well. I'm curious to know what you all think...

Ladies, you'll need to brace yourself for the end of episode 8. It nearly broke me 😭 Ha Neul is great at taking care of Jeong Woo, but when it comes to herself, she can’t do the same and is helpless. I wished she was able to heed Jeong Woo and deal with her struggles while also being by his side. Unfortunately, while he was willing to stick by her side, she felt guilty and unworthy. I liked that Jeong Woo didn’t push her though and instead, gave her an umbrella instead. I know he won’t give up so easily but will give her space and protect her from a distance. In time, I hope that Ha Neul will open-up to Jeong Woo about everything (all the sorrow, hurt, betrayal) and let him help her as she has done so for him. After all, a healthy relationship should be some kind of give and take, with both partners working together to provide support, encouragement, and compassion during times of challenge, sadness, or problems. I agree Jeong Woo’s trial ended rather quickly (even conveniently). I could be wrong, but I can’t shake off the feeling that Kyung Min had something to do with it. (I mean, look at his shady history with Ha Neul 😥) On a brighter note, I’m glad Jeong Woo and Dae Young made up! They’re a hilarious combination. At least while Jeong Woo and Ha Neul are facing some hurdles, he has another hyung (a genuine one) by his side now. I still think there needs to be more Dae Young screen time.

I recently watched this in almost one-go. Overall, I thought it was a great show. I liked how the big picture gradually came together with all the flashbacks. The relationships and conflicts finally made sense. With that said, I agree there are many questions left unanswered. Does this mean there will be a season 2? If so, I would much appreciate it if viewers knew beforehand and not left dumbfounded at the end. However, even if there isn't a season 2, I still enjoyed the suspense. Ji An, her growth and relationships with her uncle, Pasin, Min Hye and Brother were huge pluses for me. Of course, I'm glad Jin Man is alive! (Btw, I found LDW quite attractive in this role. LOL.)

They cut off this part too early. I wanted to see more too. Funny how they bickered and were in disagreement about Jeong Woo's character, then the dragonfly came to save the day and connected them again. LOL. I agree that we've gotten to know Ha Neul the most so far. So, it'll be enlightening when we get to know more about Jeong Woo's family and backstory. Maybe the pieces will start to come together and we'll understand why he's being framed with the botched surgery. Let's say Kyung Min is involved. It doesn't seem he is capable of orchestrating it all alone. Looks like the next episode will cover more of the surgery situation so we'll see... Oh yes, the anesthesiologist is a good guess.

When Jeong Woo hesitated to admit his feelings at the end of episode 5, I was worried that he would pull the noble idiocy card and this would drag a bit. Surprisingly, it went in a positive direction. I like that he and Ha Neul openly acknowledge their feelings to each other, but at the same time, they want to rule out that what they share with each other isn’t just a strong friendship. Also, they know they have their personal struggles to resolve as well. It’s a good sign that no one is running away, right? LOL. As a viewer, I think it is apparent that they vibe well with each other. Not just anyone can make you realize that you have trauma you must face and seek professional counseling for it. What is even better is that this person who goes to the appointment with you and gives you unconditional moral support should be a keeper! Me too! Dae Young and Hong Ran's meeting was such a hoot. Because her son loves insects so much, it was just so funny that both times they met, he catches insects. And, when she complimented that he's good at catching them, did she mean that it's an attractive quality to her? LOL. So yes, I can't wait for more scenes of them. I hope they meet each others' kids and their kids meet each other as well. I think it's hinted that Dae Young will get along with Hong Ran's son. Will Hong Ran maybe help Dae Young have a better bond with his daughter? The little screen time that we've had of Dae Young has been awesome. We need more though and it would be great if he has a meaningful role with the leads in the story. If someone doesn't want you to be happy (especially during your low points), it is a red flag. I really want to know why he's like this toward Jeong Woo. Obviously, Jeong Woo doesn't have a clue nor do we. LOL. I guess it keeps the story interesting. Any idea who is the mysterious person behind the mask at the end of episode 6?

I'm certain the guy is Jeong Woo's "hyung" friend, Kyung Min. He just looks different without his glasses and all wet. LOL. Now that I think about it more, it was Kyung Min who referred lawyers for Jeong Woo's trial. He's suspect for sure. As far as the motive, we'll see what it is. I thought he could be simply jealous or maybe an illegitimate son too. (Funny that you mentioned the drama, Longing for You. I kept thinking about it because the actress who played Na In Woo's mom there is playing Ha Neul's mom here. She has a similar accent too. LOL.) I was surprised too (in a good way). I really like that there could be a potential romance with Hong Ran who also has a child. What you highlighted about Jeong Woo's nature/disposition is primarily why I'm enjoying the show so far. His character is refreshing compared to the common tsundere male leads who have some kind of past trauma and are prickly at first. Given his dire situation and lack of family support, he's remains cheerful and kind. I like his attitude toward life. Maybe the show's tone is mirroring my current mood so it's hitting the right spots for me. Though I am a little worried if there's enough content to carry the show for 16 episodes. We shall see...

PHS and PSH's chemistry is perfect here so far. I had no doubt PHS could nail the comedy part. I wasn't sure about PSH, but so far so good though. (This might become my favorite role of hers.) I like that there's growth in their relationship too. The feeling of rock bottom really sucks so their support for each other is really great to see. I also like the continuous flashbacks of their high school days. They give a better glimpse of their past feelings/thoughts which seem to indicate that they like already subconsciously cared about each other. It doesn't seem so out the blue as to why they gravitated to care for each other as adults. Strangely, I really like how the show's tone teeters between being super lighthearted/funny but then brings on all the emotions. It hits the right notes of a rom-com but has some slice of life feels. I think this helps connects viewers with the leads. Ugh. I feel so bad for Jeong Woo. His trial seems to be a sabotage. Then, there's a lack of family love and support. While Ha Neul studied hard for her dying father, Jeong Woo likely obsessed with being #1 student because of his tiger mother. I'm glad he was able to reunite with Ha Neul during these hard times. Hopefully, her family will fully come around from judging him prematurely and support him as well. Between PSH and YP, I am laughing so hard. Who knew Yoon Park's character/Dae Young would be so funny as well. His seriousness for his NeoTube channel on origami with blankets is hilarious. All 5 subscribers are family so he was so happy that he suddenly got a new (non-family) subscriber. LOL. I am looking forward to his interaction with Ha Neul's friend too. I like that they're both single parents. Are you referring to the guy who walked out of the shower and then picked up a pen? I thought he was Jeong Woo's friend with the glasses.
