    Kim Soo Hyun Is Engulfed By Despair After Becoming A Murder Suspect Overnight In “One Ordinary Day” Upcoming drama “One Ordinary Day” unveiled Kim Soo Hyun’s character poster. “One Ordinary Day” is an eight-episode Korean remake of the BBC show “Criminal Justice.” In the upcoming version, Kim Soo Hyun will star as Kim Hyun Soo, an ordinary college student that is designated as a suspect in a murder case overnight. Cha Seung Won will star as Shin Joong Han, a low-class lawyer with no interest in the truth. The series will be directed by Lee Myung Woo, who previously led projects such as “Punch,” “Whisper,” and “The Fiery Priest.” In the poster, Kim Soo Hyun is sitting on the ground in his prisoner garb. Shoulders stooped, head facing down, and face full of resentment and despair, Kim Soo Hyun portrays the hopeless situation his character Kim Hyun Soo finds himself in. The angle of the image emphasizes the cold cement wall behind him that seems to extend upwards endlessly and touch the sky. The drama’s producers commented, “Kim Soo Hyun is a fascinating and valuable actor who has both a boyish side and a masculine side at the same time. Honestly I thought the Consort (not sure if she's crown princess because they didn't address her as Seja-mama) would have at least ensure Dam was well taken care of living outside the palace. Like constantly send money to sustain her living but it didn't seem like that is the case. And also I wonder what's the story of her with the guard who took Dam away because he was the Crown Prince's guard (he was standing behind Crown Prince when she was begging him to let their daughter live).

    Oh did you get it today? You'll probably be lethargic all of tomorrow. Different people have different symptoms. For me it was headache, lethargic and muscles feel weird like I've no strength. Others told me they had fever, chills and/or joint pain. Yeah please do. Maybe that will motivate me. My last attempt for take away was with Menulog at night and they never delivered my food. I think the driver couldn't find my house and decided to "run away" with my Japanese dinner! I was already looking forward to my grilled mackerel bento.

    Watching it now... Yangmyeong tells Haram at night it will be cold and I thought he was going to say he will bring a warm blanket for Haram and BAM, he said straws 😑😑😑 Not impressed. And who is that old man in the cell? Don't mind me. Still watching. --- --- --- OK! I finished. Other than what I mentioned last week about how this drama just threw at us all these magical beings and not bothered to explain it, I was reminded in this episode that the show also tell us Haram has an alter ego Il Wol Seong and did not bother to tell us how he became one and how he and his followers came about. Although it might not be too hard to guess since they all seem to want to take revenge on the Royals. Also, Haram is so under-developed as a character. I think I'd have to read the novel after the drama ends to get a better understanding of the story and characters' thoughts. You know the bit where Haram asked Yangmyeong why he apologises? It doesn't explain much of how Haram truly feels towards Yangmyeong but it does hint that Yangmyeong is a "the" prince that will be great and has the good quality of a King. Haram may be blinded by revenge now but I kind of think soon he'll give in to serve Yangmyeong later. I kind of also thought it is a bit of a joke that Joohyang needed Il Wol Seong to tell him this "great" plan of shaking the court about Crown Prince being sick. Can't he and his team of brains thought of the same thing? If a prince and his subjects can't even think of this then he's really not suitable to play politics. 🤷‍♀️

    Yay! Congrats. So am I. How was your second jab? I was glad I did it on a Saturday so I spent Sunday lying in bed coz I have no energy at all. No nice food boxes at all. Sigh.

    @SilverMoonTea You totally did not pay attention to Dumbledore's warning, aren't you? The forest is forbidden. Too many creatures, I do not want to be Aragog the spider & its children's food. The lake has that creature Grindylow who pulled Harry down and giant squid. I'm allergic to sun so no sunbathing or quidditch unless Hermione can conjuer up a spell to shield me from UVA. I guess that leaves reading in the library... dark arts' section! Yeah!

    LOL nvm. I don't remember which episode I asked you that question. Just Yangmyeong being cute but he's not cute anymore but annoying now HAHAHA. I haven't watched the latest episode yet. I'm wondering if I should wait knowing fully how it ended... I want to see fainted Haram more and they end it before this. Tsk. OST 6

    I like the child actress' performance! She was really good. She changed her voice when she played Hwi, I thought that was very well done. Had a look at her filmography and she's in a lot of dramas we've seen too. The child actor as Ji Woon I remember him the most as young JCW in Healer hahaha. I find him a bit stiff though. Personally, I would have loved it more if Ji Woon was played by the child actor Moon Woo Jin or Choi Seung Hoon (LDH's younger brother in Youth of May). Regretfully Choi Seung Hoon was already playing Haram in Hong Cheon Ki, hahaha! I had a look at the parrot blood you were talking about since I watched in C-subs and parrot blood wasn't directly mentioned. Turns out it was a 4 characters Hanja (金絲未斷). First two words (Jin [gold] Si [thread]) means the girls' hymen and the last two words (wei duan) mean "not broken". It is a tradition (from China) to test the virginity of the girls. All girls who entered the palace are considered the King's women so they must be a virgin. A drop of parrot's blood is dripped onto the girl's wrist and it must stayed as is. If it flows down then it means the girl is not a virgin and fail the test. A superstitious, unscientific, stupid test Yeah at this point, Hwi's father is still a powerless Crown Prince. I am thinking he's likely a puppet King from episode 2 onwards. Because this guy Han Ki Jae (Hwi's grandfather) is the trusted servant of the current King and is building his power & he convinced the King to execute Hwi and Crown Prince's teacher. The political bits aren't exactly new. I'm more interested to see who Ji Woon's father kill in front of him, if not Hwi, that led Hwi disappointed in his father. This arc was completely unexpected (although not exactly never happened before in dramas). So far I find his father rather cruel and cold-blooded. Poor boy. He's going to be in so much difficult position in upcoming episodes especially after falling for Dam. I'm guessing he would have to make a choice in bringing his own father down in the end. I think this show isn't exactly going to have the happiest sort of ending since the crimes were literally committed by both OTP's families. Oh yeah, while Ji Woon's father hunt Hwi down on the street, I cannot stop wondering if that was possible and how no one stops him. Shouldn't there be guards/police around...? And @abs-oluteM remember him? He was your avatar for a week or so.
