  1. I am neither aswell, but based on the lyrics and the song it felt to me like she was saying she's done.
  2. It's really not a song that sticks in your head or make you sing along. Whenever it comes up in my playlist though, I appreciate the message of the song and begin to think a little. I am really happy she has a song to her name aswell. It really fits her. I don't know about you, but for me the song felt a little like a good bye. When I listened to it the first time, I had the feeling the song was about her wanting to end her career and settle down.
  3. Really not my day today........I didn't want to sent it early....come oooon.....wake up Dhakra... @SnowBlobAbout what team or sport are we talking about? That are such harsh measures that it is kinda funny, because it feels like soccer can do whatever they want these days. This year is also the european championship in soccer and the UEFA already stated that there will be people in the stadiums and it will be held in 12 different cities all over europe. And all that while our cases are rising. Ah, Badminton. I see. Reminds me of my denial of dramas that run for more than an hour. I don't want to watch episodes that are like movies....I don't have so much time on hand each day! I even split movies in half or even thirds to watch them completely.
  4. @SilverMoonTeaThat are really some true words

I do. At least cuts of my favorite scenes if I can't watch it completely. Very common saying aswell, I like it. A quote I also liked from the drama "The Package"
  6. Oh....great question. Take a seat. I didn't pre order or buy anything, since albums like that, especially with how the extra stuff is added, are only meant to be bought in multiples to maximize profit for the company. It's not meant for fans, it's meant for the company to squeeze everything whats left out of the fans. I don't support that, the physical album itself isn't very pretty aswell in my opinion, so it occured pretty fast to me to not order anything. The song/comeback itself, I actually wasn't excited, since after previous solo songs from BP I absolutely expected nothing. But after listening to it, I really, really love it. Her voice is beautiful, the lyrics are beautiful and well written: 'It’s funny when you want it Suddenly you have it You find out that your gold’s just plastic' It does kinda sounds like a Taylor Swift song at times, but overall it's a comeback that fits her. I added it to my playlist.
  7. Yes! I absolutely loved OSN. Every single second. There is so much to love, the OST, the story, the OTP.
  8. Politics? Glad I don't have to deal with that aswell. I rarely talk to colleagues or my supervisors these days and when there is contact, it's mostly just via mails. I just work on my own and avoid any contact. And yeah, totally a benefit aswell, but also a bit struggling. I remember when I started everything was crispy clean around me, now everything next to my workspace is messy and full of snacks and stuff. During meetings I'm happy people don't know whats right and left next to me
  9. Kinda happy my only coworker is Johnny these days, by now I totally embraced home office. The only time I see colleagues are during video meetings, which don't happen too often. But yeah, bad work colleagues are the worst thing that can happen at work.
  10. Happy international Women's Day to all the Girls and Noonas here. 1. Favorite must be Lee Bo Young. Every drama of her is a no brainer must watch for me. 2. Kyung Soo Jin, no surprise I guess 3. Lee Yun Hee, would love to see her in more dramas though. She was perfect in "The Package". 4. Kim Seul Gi, always so funny, playing her roles so well. Would also love to see her a lot more.
  11. Sounds actually quite interesting, but I am still in my drama Slumber I guess. I figured today that I did watch a drama last year, which was Lee Bo Young's drama "When my Love Blooms". One Spring Night aired 2019. Time really flies these days. I guess I need to wait until Lee Bo Young airs her new drama or a plot actually gets my interest again. I think I am in need for a good slice of life one.
  12. The more important question is if she likes Messi aswell The MV does look actually quite interesting, but sixteen episodes? Urgh...and RomCom? Is at least Slice of Life-ish? Sigh, the song hasn't really caught me yet, expected a lil more piano, but classical music does sound interesting. Mhm. Yes, the FL played the Lead in Judge vs Judge, which wasn't very special though. Wait....I remember in Judge vs Judge there was a second lead playing a lawyer which was actually quite hot.....let me seeee~ Na Hae-Ryung...that was her name, not my favorite SLS, but still in my memory. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ And for the song recommendation this time: Manhole! The drama itself is...oh boy..... the first half was actually good, but the second half of the drama is probably the worst I have ever seen. ALIENS! A-L-I-E-N-S! It's probably on the bottom of my drama all time-fav, not because it's the worst, but simply it fell down so hard. Some dramas begin at the bottom and stay there, but Manhole starting quite high, but crushed down so, so bad. There is drama I really dislike, but Manhole managed to even outdo that one. BUT...the OST or this particular song is quite good though. It's still in my playlist and I like to listen to it.
  13. "Challenging"? How dare you! You mean challenging as in loving, caring and actually have a multi-dimensional character that has depth? Like who wants these first leads with their bubbly, one dimensional character anyway Second Leads! I tell you, go through my history and you'll see they all would be amazing partners!
  14. @DarkarcanaI know! I haven't had the opportunity to watch it yet. And with that I mean I haven't been able to bring myself of watching it.
  15. You watch so many dramas at one time, you actually binge-watch every day on a weekly base.I can imagine you never stop watching anything Is it my fault that most SLS girls are actually most of the time the better deal? That's quite interesting since I religiously try to seperate my Kpop and KDrama behaviors. But the struggle to find subs was something I had at the beginning aswell, especially for crime dramas that weren't popular or lesser known. In Europe it's actually even harder to find reliable english sources.
  16. Actually it got recommended to me by @abs-oluteM back then and I needed more than one approach to watch it aswell. It is really heavy and asks some very interesting questions. So you always think about it. Even weeks after watching it you keep thinking back, also because of the music. But the music is really well included in the drama. Within the drama they actually play another classical piano song quite often, which also sets the tone of the atmosphere. It's the beginning of Schubert's Fantasie, which is played by the main actors quite often. ------------------------------------------------------------- As for my recommendation today, it's from the Drama "Mad Dog". I remember after listening to it for the first time I was so excited for the day the OST gets released. Very, very beautiful song by Eric Nam. I love these kind of songs
  17. Coffee Prince My 2nd Nemesis. Gong Yoo was really good though, I loved the characters, but the story line got so dragged. Wasn't Coffee Prince the drama with that absurdly beautiful second lead who made, in my opinion, rather odd decisions? Lemme check.... YES! Chae Jung-An. Oh boy, I had a crush on her. And yeah, you might see a trend by now. I remember dramas by (beautiful) second leads. SLS all the way. Talking about it @abs-oluteMAny way I can change my title to something more towards Second Lead-worthy? I haven't found it yet. Second Leads are close to always (!) the better choice. I don't think it patience, I think I just feel more comfy with just spending 2 hours per week to watch to dramas. I like to plan stuff and stick to my schedule, so too many stuff to watch kinda overwhelm me. Typical german behavior I guess, everything needs to be in order. That's also a big plus. Weekly watching has the benefit of being able to watch and talk with others. Binge watching mostly takes place after everyone else has finished the drama and you need to hand select the people to talk about it with. I am the exact opposite, I need the week to fully understand and remember the story, think about it. I always feel like when binging stuff that I mix things up or don't spent enough attention to whats happening. I think I can keep up better when I watch something step by step. That drama really does sound kinda confusing. I don't know if I would have sticked with KDramas after I had watched something like that. Kinda like 'Manhole', I love and hate it at the same time. If this would have been my first drama, I definitely would have stepped away afterwards.
  18. She gets me everytime. Year after year she makes me addicted to a song. I have to see and hear her live at one point in my life. Favorite solo artist by far
  19. I don't care about the 5 days, yes. I actually like it, gives you room to breath, something to look forward to each week and doesn't give me the feeling to continue watching. When I can binge watch something I am really bad at limiting myself. I think most people prefer to binge watch, but I actually don't like it. It's different though if I already watched a drama. Binge Watching Healer for example was much more comfy. Yeah, he actually did I guess. He was really good in Lookout. Cheese with flair fits it perfectly. It had highs and lows. My favorite still was Kim Ji-Won throughout the drama. When Coconut (kokodus) asked me to watch it with her, I really enjoyed her role and had a crush.
  20. Oh I feel you. I remember I disliked Kim Young-Kwang for such a long time and had plenty of banter-talk with @abs-oluteMabout him. And then 'Lookout' was released and I turned 180 and agreed that he is a great actor. Curse you Noona, I loved to dislike him! That's very interesting. So you started with a crime-like thriller drama and it didn't catch you? I remember Memories of the Alhambra, I think I actually wanted to watch it because of Lee Si Won, but actually never did. My curse that I really don't like to watch dramas after they aired. When I see a finished drama with 16-20 episodes to watch, I immediately lose interest. I need to have this weekly 2 episodes routine. Oh, no worries. During my Drama High Tide in 2018/2019 I think I had similar numbers, with the exception that I dumped drama left, right and center. @abs-oluteMeven made jokes about it all the time, since I have a reputation of dumping dramas for the silliest things after one episode.
  21. After touching it in the OST thread, a question occured to me after realizing Fairy was my first drama that started m K-Drama Habits. Which Kdrama was the first you watched and how did you like it? Any special memories? In my case I remember that I watched Fairy during various appointments at the dentist, so during this time I didn't calculate in weeks, I calculated in how many episodes will be aired between two appointments. My weeks started/ended at Wednesdays.
  22. The first few seconds are giving me the chills everytime. I loved the drama so much, sadly it lost a bit of its magic in the second season. It was. It was intense, but very interesting to watch how much you can lose yourself in a world of lies. About Fairy, I pretty much watch the drama or scenes of it at least once a year. It such a nice, light watch with so much magic happening. It was also the start of my drama-watching career, so I have a special connection to it.
  23. My OST choice for today is from a drama that I absolutely love, but many haven't seen due to the fact that they're a mother and would have a hard time watching it: Mother This drama really is not a easy watch, it pressures your heartstrings to its limits. There won't be a single second during the drama where you will sit comfy on your seat. But at the same time, no drama will put you through such an emotional rollercoaster. The OST is so beautiful, since it manages to point out exactly the kind of love someone has towards their mother. It's so soft and beautiful.
  24. Also not to forget, one of,my favorite dramas has a very famous OST aswell. I guess this one will have a lot more people who know and love it. It just always brings you into a good, light mood. Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo had such a great OST aswell.
  25. If we talk about piano, I also have something that might sound familiar to you and which I know you do like aswell. It's a drama that, besides having THE worst drama poster, is a movie-like drama that is a bit hard to watch and needs attention. Secret Love Affair. Since the piano plays a major part in this drama, as well as the piano piece "Schuberts Fantasie" , it's no surprise that a lot of OST are played on the piano aswell. But do you remember how well every scene was accompanied by piano sounds and what kind of feeling the OST brought to the viewer? I am sure, a lot of people here haven't watched the drama and probably don't know what it's about (although the title might give it away), but the mood of the OST alone gives you a pretty good idea how heavy and atmospheric the drama is. No way!! You lucky one! I can only imagine how beautiful her voice must be live. There really are some musicians you need to hear live only once.
