Synopsis
“Nine Puzzle” follows the story of Jo Yi Na, the only witness and suspect in a past murder case who becomes a profiler ten years later, as she digs into the hidden truth of that fateful night with a police detective named Han Saem who suspects her as the murderer. 

Nine Puzzle marks the second series directed by Yoon Jong Bin who previously worked on Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time, Kundo: Age of the Rampant and The Spy Gone North, after Netflix’s Narco Saints. Lee Eun Mi will pen the script and Kakao Entertainment will present the series.

On May 26, it was reported that Son Suk Ku and Kim Da Mi had been cast as the leads in the upcoming drama “Nine Puzzle” (literal title). In response to the report, Son Suk Ku’s agency SBD Entertainment officially announced, “Son Suk Ku has been offered the role of Han Saem and is positively considering the offer.” Similarly, Kim Da Mi’s agency United Artists Agency (UAA) also remarked that she is currently reviewing the offer after receiving the script for “Nine Puzzle.”
