I cannot take this kind of trope for now ..... @Tofu and @Mouseknow that I am still recovering from a recently ended kdrama that gave me a lot of grief. LOL

    This was the drama where I fell for YJG. Before this, I had only seen him in Circle. My mum can watch a lot of dramas though she's nowhere close to @NiteWalker's mum . Angie's mum can watch two dramas simultaneously.

    aahahaah yeah @ktcjdrama and I are still feeling salty about the recently ended drama! True true. I find kdramas to be pretty good at this genre. Actually , I am usually not a fan of sports dramas unless my top level oppa is in it - then I don't care what it is - but badminton is probably the only sport I somewhat follow since you know or as you may know it is Malaysia's most beloved sport. What I liked more is that in this show badminton is like the "underdog" sports compared to say baseball in SK. So that made me root for the show more.

    Yes , so recommended ! Love it a lot . My mum is watching this now and likes it alot. @SilverMoonTea is right . Police University had a very good 1st episode. ( No, silvermoon did not pay me any commission.) @Dhakra do you still experiment with your Asian recipes? I remember at one time you were, no? @Chocolate @NiteWalkerI know I should not be laughing since the guy has some mental issues...but it was funny. Especially when he used the Styrofoam.

    I want to say I LOVE the 1st episode. It was a very engaging way to introduce the characters and plenty of comedic moments. But I felt myself tearing up for the moments between Sun Ho and his "dad/ uncle". The old man loves him like his own and never discriminated between SH and his own son. SH loves him as much , and you can tell he is extremely grateful that dad raised him. But the traffic light scene after he took them out from the police station was a very symbolic scene of how Sun Ho feels about their relationship. No matter what, the man is still not his father. That is why SH had never been demanding or even has any dream or desire. He did not ever want to be a burden to the dad . That is why I loved that dad took him to the police interview the next day and encouraged him so that he would not give up on this "dream" . True that he didn't exactly choose to be a cop for the right reasons , but I think this might very well be his calling because I can imagine his hacker skills being used in the cyber crime unit. Apart from the potential romance between the leads, I am looking forward to the mentor -mentee relationship between Dong Man and Sun Ho. It definitely did not start off on the right foot since Dong Man caught SH for syphoning money out the cryptocurrency site ( I will give SH a pass since we know it was done out of desperation for dad's surgery). And I can imagine now that Dong Man will be picking on Sun Ho non-stop. But what is going to be really fun is when DM realises that SH has been his secret online friend who has helped him with all the cyber knowledge all this while.

    Sorry I am spamming ahhahaahh....but these two have some of the best interactions in a drama BTS. See just before they begin shooting, in their own world even from afar. LOL Is this what he means by "mirroring"?

    As I wrote on twitter , the final eps is a good example of how you can give a beautiful wrap up without rushing; allowing the characters to come full circle in their development. This drama came to me at a time when I felt I needed a good and hearty laugh. Something to cheer me up since I have been on some crazy lockdown since April. Does one need villains and a twisted plot to engage the audience? Clearly this show is proof you don't, but yet it was still able to keep me interested and invested. The drama started off as a coming of age show for 5 young boys in their mid teens and I wasn't sure what to expect since this was also a sports drama. However since this was also coming from the writer of Prison Playbook ( my number 1 kdrama !) , I decided to watch. And safe to say the magic that the writer had in PP was sprinkled all over the show. What made this such a sweet watch was that the show evolved to include a large number of characters, all for whom I ended up rooting for. It wasn't just the boys & girls who grew in this show and went on to realise their dreams, but the villagers too had great character development. I so love the bit where City Couple found a home and ended up raising a family here when in the first place they had come here to die. I love that the lives of the boys and the villagers intertwined in many ways , and that this village became a home and a place of refuge for all that came. Goodbye Racket Boys. You'll be missed [If you have yet to watch PP , please do . I may watch a lot of dramas but not many make it close to the number 1 spot in my heart)

    Yes. So sweet. Lots of skinship and they are open with each other. What I enjoy most is always them teasing each other about their diets... Pot calling kettle black....LOL

    IQIYI subs was thug which I supposed refer to Soo Hyun. I think as far as her psychotic personality allows, Sun Ah loves Yo Han. I just wrote this somewhere else, but you could see she was a bit worried when he got shot. Maybe like she says, she is killing the people around him so that he will get so lonely that he will join her. In her delusional mind, maybe she is really hoping that the two of them can rule together. Yes, agreed. She was hoping ( against her better judgement ) that YoHan was truly wanting to take on the world with her . In her own twisted way she "loves" YoHan. Even in eps 11 , she mentioned to her assistant that YoHan is not even hiding the fact that he was "toying" with ( I paraphrased it here) . But just for awhile she just wanted to go along with it. She desires YoHan as much as she desires those shiny things. YoHan knows that he is her weakness. But sadly this is the end of my crack ship..... (now let me go and cry in the corner)

    @mademoiselle 20mins is way too short now that we have the story going. They could have at least released 2 episodes. Woo Soo discovers that he can see ghosts and thinks this is Doo Shim's doing. LOL...but anyhow she tells him that there's nothing she can do about it. Woo Soo did not have this ability before so halmoni using his body to communicate with Doo Shim must have opened his third eye. I wonder if he can be "trained" to become a Shaman? I supposed not right - it is like a inherited gift? And from my understanding Doo Shim is a rather powerful shaman - even more so than her grandma and mum . She just has not realised it yet.
