@bluepebbles let's hope this season 3 is as good as its predecessors  Ahhhh... I just love Lee Chang and Seo Bi .. I wonder whether romance will be on the table for them  

@bluepebbles glad you opened this thread. I was gonna see if there's a thread for this and voila~~ it's on the top! Honestly, the anticipation of this isn't as great as for season 2 since I know Ju Ji Hoon and Bae Doo Na aren't the leads here. BUT.. I'll def check this one out since I love both Kingdom seasons so far~~

He does love her a lot and that was also what lead to this. She'll need time for all this to set in...all the stages of grief probably. I understand her feelings of being betrayed and these doubts about who he really is.   I was so sad when the daughter said that their lives will not be complete without him. HJH was the family's rock. He looked after the kids and made it possible for her to focus on her career and defend her own ideals. I think coz we're already shown who HJH truly is from the beginning... And knowing that he's indeed a really good guy..it's sort of 'hard' to understand how deep the feeling of betrayel YS must have been feeling atm. So instead of pitying YS... I pity HJH more 

I reckon Seung Goo will probably even have a harder time when he finds out about his father lies. 

However... I suppose if they really think about it...what's different between HJH and LSG...is just a name (ok plus the background eg his family..his job..)..but in the end there's no lies in terms of his characters and his love for them. Wouldnt it be shocking if you find out the man or father you love is who he said his name, family and job are..but turned out he lies about his characters?? Eg turned out he is a serial killer etc? Ahahhahhahaha

Ep 73 and 74

Werent that entertaining in terms of one team basically won all except one game. And LOL...our YJH is truly in a slump.. He even said that he couldnt remember the last time he won a game 

BUT

I love how they got the members to do PLOGGING. I think that's a very beneficial activity for the environment.. Although i havent done it myself but kudos to those who do

@mademoiselle no promise made... But let's see.. If i decide to watch i'll let you know  i just found out from Lala that the writer is PP's writer.. Unfortunately i'm not really a big fan of PP  Oh and btw...apparently in certain scene..not sure which one.. There's a poster on the background of the men double Indonesian team...known as Minions. Hahahahahahaha. 

 @1217akkum4 I suppose you don't mind reading spoilers ahead? I purposely wrote spoilers so you wouldn't read them (coz you know..some people may not want to find out what happens before they watch that episode ).

I also like detective/crime dramas but apart from the story line I actually do look at the actors who are playing the characters. 

Hello @1217akkum4! Glad you come by this thread .. It's a quieter thread but please feel free to say your thoughts on the episodes you have watched (doesnt matter if you're behind ). I also like Ji Jin Hee.. But unfortunately I only like a few of his works such as

You're not alone on forgetting who is who in this drama...everytime new ep came..i kinda need to take a moment to refigure a few characters

Thoughts on ep 9 and 10 (spoilers ahead)

These 2 eps pretty much dealt with the aftermath of YS finding out who HJH truly is (yes peeps..she finally figured out that he's Lee Suk Gyu). And sadly..until the end of ep 10..YS still hasnt forgiven him yet . Not sure how long the writer is going to prolong this..but i hope not too long. Coz the fact remains that HJH truly loves his wife and family and that he's one of the good guys (although YS might not see this as he contributed to the capture of KTY whom she adored very much). 

I thought it's also sort of 'amusing' that HJH is so adamant to keep the name HJH... I suppose he hates his true name due to what happened in the past.. But unfortunately I can't seem to quite understand why. Hahahah but I suppose if he uses his true name again then the children become Lee Seung Goo and Lee Seung Mi 

Also..these eps..again..as @LaLa mentioned.. It feels the bad guys are still steps ahead our heroes  

Wahh @SilverMoonTea you know the brand of the bag? I have no idea..they re just looking nice and expensive to me  Let's see whether our wild guess of her being KMJ is correct...maybe she got plastic surgery along the way so she doesnt look like how she was before 

@Chocolate i think for now I hope the two women can work out a way to bring up Ha Joon together. It doesn't hurt to have both mothers looking after him... But making him choose and taking side will def hurt him (unless one mother is outright evil..but seems both are good). And that's what happened in previous eps... Both mothers tried to 'claim' him as hers and hers only...

Hahahahahhahaha.... No actually i didnt play with my phone this time ... I assumed (not shown) OYC was threatened because i thought OYC was a psychopath and there s no way he would feel remorse..and hence that scene of him begging wasnt out of his remorse feeling but must be because outside force (eg threat)  But this was all just my guess as it's def not shown in the drama. But now perhaps he's a serial killer but not a psycho... Can a serial killer not be a psycho though? Hahahah

This makes sense :) Although then why the need for CEO Baek to offer the deal of getting him a new eye? She probably thought CEO Jang didnt like to wait to get his eye healed or sth

Hmm i thought OYC apologising had something to do with CEO Jang and or KDK? Thought they must have threatened him with sth for him to apologise like that... Because dont think he_s remorseful at all (unless he got a brain transplant from someone's who is 'normal' like in Mouse...)

@LaLa There's def something else going on with Mother Emma  Well..if you're referring to the cupboard underneath the bible and the cross..it seems she has about 4 bags right there. LOL..I had this crazy thought: what if Mother Emma turns out to be Jin Young's mother  

What's with Hi Soo doing jumping rope in the garden??? She wanted to hide the fact that she lost her baby..no?

So the lady who was on the floor seeing the blood was Hi Soo?? I really couldn't tell who that is because of the angle of the camera and the hair do. I thought it's Lee Bo Young but really I couldn't be sure. 

I'm here to report to madam @Chocolate that I kept my end of the bargain  I watched ep 1 and then sort of fastforwarded ep 2... couldn't be bothered watching but really interested in finding out about the story so I read recap instead from ep 3-6. I feel like I probably missed a lot of details but probably not the bigger picture.

Then just now I watched the whole ep 7 and looking forward to watching ep 8. By ep 7, a lot characters whom I totally couldn't stand in the first 2 eps became a bit more mellow and hence the show has become much more tolerable for me. 

I wonder:

- Whether the 4 women at the end of ep 7 will band together to 'destroy' the evil in Hyowon's group (Hi Soo, Seo Hyun, Ja Kyeong and Yu Yeon) ? That would be super cool. Please let HS and SH at least to stay a 'team' instead having them go against each other. 

- Whether Han Ji Young after all ..is not the bad guy at all... That would be a massive twist! But something that I would welcome~ oh I must say I like the actor!

- Whether Mother Emma has her own secret that hasn't been revealed yet. She looks nice and sincere and yet at the same time she can look 'cunning' as well... like as if she's having another motive apart from just lending an ear to people in need. If it's indeed so.. kudos to the actress..she's doing it really well. 

I finished too!! And one drama down yayyyy~~ 

Ditto @abs-oluteM I'm glad Rainbow Taxi didn't disband in the end .. and perhaps by bringing KHN into the team, now they'll stay "somewhat" in accordance with the law. I can imagine the original gang strives to find proofs and then KHN will then prosecute the criminals  No more dodgy jail owned by dodgy woman~ 

Overall, an ok drama for me. Definitely was great in the first few eps but not sure since when I felt that I no longer particularly looked forward to upcoming episodes except ep 16. I enjoyed LJH's performance here and def loved the team's interaction with one another. Nothing to do with Esom, but I didn't quite like KHN's character especially in the first 12 eps. I warmed up to her character a lot more in the last 2 eps but not quite enough to make me 'adore' her. 

Looking forward to seeing LJH in a project that I like (unfortunately, Signal is the only one.. He did make an appearance in the last 2 eps of my fav Hot Stove League but that's not enough!). 

Now.. can someone tell me... How did CEO Jang got his eye back???? His one eye was still covered with pad in ep 15 and then bam at the start of ep 16 he got that eye looking fine  Did I miss something?

@abs-oluteM  cloud service! I havent seen any detective slash crime dramas using cloud service at all  I think if JH were that 'smart' using such service it would kill the suspense hahahahahahhahah. 

What do you think of Kim Tae Yool? I think it will be really interesting if he's also a dodgy character...in that way both young JH and YS were 'serving' dodgy people. 

Will have to wait till next week before the upcoming eps get subbed

Seung Goo is indeed an interesting character. Apart from him being someone in the spectrum, I feel he shows a lot of  'feelings' ...again something i'm not sure whether that would be the case irl.

@abs-oluteM seeing how the drama has been potraying the family as a tight-knit family (except JH's lies).. I think sooner or later they will tell their kids the truth right? Otherwise both parents have to live a life continuing the lie (instead of just one). But perhaps they wont tell the kids straight away... 

Ohh.. I'm guessing Seung Goo will be hit the hardest and I'm looking forward to how the drama shows how SG responds and adapts to this revelation.

@LaLa i really hope they're not trolling us and it's indeed IkJun whom she said 'let's eat' to (coz while it's clear it's Shwa whom IkJun talked to...it's not clear who Shwa said that to)

This could either go either way... It could be the ship has sailed and the relationship doesnt affect the fab 5 friendship (as lala said) ... Or it could be Shwa rejected IkJun...but that also doesnt affect their friendship. Gahhhh... I really dont know what to expect in regards to SHwa's answer to IJ's question.

Ahhhh... @Lynne @LaLa a thought jusy popped up into my mind... What if... Lee or Shin (whoever that is)..decided to do this like Reply.. So Shwa's answer to IkJun won't be revealed until the end of season 2...and so we're left guessing the whole season whether they're already together or not with clues here and there each episode? although it will be recycling old pattern...it will still be ingenious to me!

People goes to Songhwa for advise while Ikjun as an observer freely gives his advise.. 

 

I wonder if the umbrellas are there because in Season 1, rain seems to be of meaning to both of them (they went to eat that thing when it's raining... also the scene in IkJun's house when Shwa helped look after Uju). Hmmm..talking about posters, our Duo actually never explain the meaning behind each poster right? season 1 has so many posters but never an explanation of what they're about

I don't have any preference whether or not I want them to include covid or not. It would be more realistic if they do though especially if they're showing the fab 5 in 2020-2021... otherwise it would feel like they live in a different alternate universe  However, not sure what restrictions are placed in Korea in 2020 ... like for example, where I am currently, in 2020, for months we're not allowed to visit anyone's house, to work from home and couldn't eat in any restaurant. Medical personnels were of course allowed to continue working on site though. If these were the case for SK and season 2 shows those, then we won't get much of the fab 5 meeting with each other outside the hospital  ... then there will be not much chance for our IkSong's relationship to advance further to something else... 

@Lynne Thanks for those pics collection   In all those posters... IkJun is always next to SHwa  Seriously..there should be a meaning behind the umbrellas right?? Right?? Right? what do you think they mean though? 

One thing..our IkSong don't seem to have a  hairstyle change in season 2 (well think all characters don the same hairstyle as season 1). 

17 June come faster... I'm just hoping our ship sails by the end of season 2. Don't think I can wait for another season for it to sail
