Just started watching ep 13 and...oh my gosh, Kelei should not be discussing things with Wenbo because Wenbo is just as clueless if not worse! Wenbo says there was something weird about dinner and then correctly surmises that it has something to do with Wenjing... and then proceeds to say how the guys behaved differently! I wanted to reach out and smack him at the back of his head if I could! I get that both Mi Ka and Kelei are inexperienced when it comes to love but man, it's so obvious that Kelei has feelings for her! Okay, if she isn't sure about it yet, she could have handled that situation at the restaurant better. Like I said, she could've chosen not to answer and just smile or she could've let Kelei shell the crab for her! The poor guy was embarrassed. Hi @Olivia Kate! Nice to have you obsessing over this just as much as the rest of us! I cannot get enough of this! Okay, back to watching episode 13....

@40somethingahjumma really enjoyed reading your thoughts on this! After watching episode 4, I am beginning to think we might be dealing with more than 1 killer. As to whether Ba Reum is a/the serial killer or not, I have mixed feelings. Do I think LSG can pull off such a complex character? Yes, I believe so. But at this point, I honestly don’t think this he is bad. But I guess we will have to wait and see. I do think there is more to him that meets the eye. In episode 4, the reporter sees a photo of BR and mentions that she had interviewed him and Chi Kook back in HS. Although this was mentioned in passing, I feel like there is more to it. Something happened in the past that made Chi Kook a target. In the preview for ep 5, it looks like Ho Yan gets beat up. But by who, remains to be discovered.

Wenbo definitely likes Xiao Xia and all the guys around him know it too! Just the fact that there was awkward tension while they were playing basketball means that they’re all aware of his feelings even if he himself won’t admit it.

Glad to see you here! I’ll take responsibility if no one else will. @Tofu maybe you’re right in that he feels unworthy because he considers his mom reaching out to Xiao Xia as “bothering her”. Perhaps he thinks there’s nothing he can offer her that she doesn’t already or can’t have since she’s so independent. Thinking back now, I recall that scene where she ate with Wenbo and his mom and the mom related a story where in this former blind date of Wenbo didn’t even step into their home because it was so old and not newly renovated. Perhaps that scarred Wenbo and now he’s wary.

I don’t understand WenBo’s hesitation when it comes to Xia. He seems to like her but for pushes her away for some reason.

I honestly don’t see Kelei entertaining her in any way because he’s just not that type of guy. We can see that he’s pretty straightforward and when he’s not interested, he’s blunt just like when he had that blind date. but yes! I was screaming please say “yes!” I’m a little annoyed with Mi Ka for that. She could’ve just kept silent and let him shell her crabs for her or something. Everyone clearly knew he had feelings for her!

I don't like this new girl.. she's definitely after Kelei.. ANNOYING! You Are My Hero MV... sigh... I can't wait for the rest of the episodes..

The scene where Keyao meets Mi Ka for the first time had me laughing because of how uncomfortable Kelei was! His sister's like "oh this steamer looks familiar..." and "so here's where my masks went.." And how adorable is Xing Kelei? The way he was just throwing food into the duffel bag and then he wrote the description of the Lavender farm in his palm!!! GAHHH! SO ADORABLE!! And when duty called so he had to go.. the disappointment on his face broke my hear..

Thank you for posting that clip @Tofu and that gif @NiteWalker! I can’t get enough of Kelei in his SWAT gear with those mesmerizing eyes. I also thought it was interesting that at the end of ep 10, he reveals to her that that particular mission was the most dangerous to him and how it was his first time. We’ll have to wait for the next episode to see the continuation of that conversion but that encounter was memorable for both of them.

@Warm Paws It actually occurred to me as well that it may be the mom that’s doing the killings and YH might just be protecting her since she protected him as a child. But if she killed the family and then burned them, then why would the boxer’s murder be out of revenge? one thing I noticed in ep 1, when Jae Hoon’s stepdad was beating him, his mother shielded him with her body. That’s very telling to me. Bec that meant that she loved him despite knowing his nature. It also just occurred to me that if the boxer’s murder was done out of revenge, doesn’t that seem contradictory to the nature of a psychopath? I thought they are incapable of feeling empathy and emotion. I would think that a revenge murder is an emotion-driven murder. So that to me is confusing. The murder of the runner or the woman under the tunnel would make more sense.

I’ll be honest in that I’m going to have to force myself to watch season 2 but I am curious as to why they decided to end it the way they did after building up that sweet story between SunHo and Kim JoJo. I personally have an issue with dramas that make you fall for one person and then take that away. It’s unnecessary heartache for me

I think the fact that we can’t seem to figure out the true nature of its characters tells me that the drama is doing an excellent job for a murder mystery. I am still hoping that BR is not the serial killer. But each episode does an amazing job of teasing the possibility that it’s him. Up to this point we get “close enough” clues so that we can point the finger at someone whether it’s Yo Han or BR. But because it never really shows the actual murder, it’s hard to tell who’s actually doing the killing and who just happens to arrive right after. Whoever the killer is, it doesn’t seem random to me. It feels like there’s always a reason for his targets. Whether he has personal grudge against the victim or he’s using the person in a way that gets him the attention he wants.

Me too! I hope we see more of their sibling relationship. Also, it looks like their apartments are across from each other. I wonder what happens when Keyao realizes that Kelei is crushing on a girl and letting her stay at his place. Also knowing that Kelei wasn’t interested in dating.

Which other threads @Tofu? I have somewhat low tolerance for spicy food so although I do like it, I eat them in small doses.

@NiteWalker I think so too because why else would he have given her a ride back to the hospital that first time they met again. @Tofu oooohhh. LaLa!!

Exactly!!! We have to fill the days we wait! But it’s also good to fill them with good dramas!

I love how hard he tries just to “coincidentally” bump into her. He made Wenbo drive around 3x and haha on the failed breakfast delivery. He’s been paying for breakfast to be delivered everyday and she didn’t even have any of it because she got transferred to ED. When do you think he started to like her?

Guys, if you haven’t yet, check out You Are My Hero! @Tofu I’m hopping on the Bai Jingting wagon and crushing on him too. He looks so darn good when he’s in full SWAT gear. Even when it’s only his eyes showing. Totally random here but I was craving Korean food tonight so I ordered pork belly with kimchi. I thought it’s pork belly with rice and a side of kimchi. But it’s actually pork belly mixed with Kimchi and it’s so spicy!! it’s good but I have to drink soda to kill the heat!

@NiteWalker I’m going to save my haven points then so I can buy a Bai Jing Ting badge so we know that Xing Kelai already likes Mi Ka. I think Mi La finding out that it was he who rescued her will make her see him in a new light. I think she already cares for him because when she found out about the kidnapping situation, she was concerned enough to try to call him several times.

There’s no such thing as too many I started You Are My Hero too since I still can’t find subs for ep 25-30. I have to say I’m also enjoying You Are My Hero but they’re two completely different dramas so I can’t really compare it. But I do think it’s worth checking out as well.

Seriously obsessed with this one!! I checked it out yesterday and breezed through all 10 episodes!! @Tofu I think we need a new badge of Xing Kelei... the gif you posted with him saying “I’m here, you’re going to be okay”. I am also rooting for the second couple - Xiao Xia and Wenbo. I find Wenbo endearing in his clueless ways and can’t wait to see how he falls for her. I am curious to see if Dr. Shao is going to fall for Mi Ka. At this point, I cannot tell yet if he’s simply interested in her as a student with potential or if he’s beginning to like her. It looks like there is history between Dr. Shao and Xing Kelei’s sister. Wonder what happened there. At the end of Ep 10, I think Mi Ka has realized that it’s Xing Kelai who rescued her 2 years ago. I wonder if he’s going to tell her he remembers her too. @NiteWalker @OsmanthusTea that scene where they’re eating together in ep 10, did you notice Xing Kelai’s arm muscles?!
