I did watch Ep1! Am still feeling it though. 👍 Hopefully, I could continue watching Mouse. Thanks for the tip, Mouse 😁 #MouseLovesMouse

  4. @Darkarcana no! That doesn't help at all!
  5. SAME! SAME! I'm here for Song Kang so it has to be Song Kang. Totally want JoJo and SunHo to be together!
  6. @Darkarcana Nooooo! I actually liked both of them so it makes me so sad.. BUT I CANNOT WAIT TO WATCH!!
  7. I loved the porridge scene too although I can't help but criticize the arrow. Bec we see the arrow hit that sign that was falling and then the camera pans to Houye rounding the corner, riding his horse with bow in hand... how the heck did he hit that thing with his arrow if he hasn't even rounded the corner?! But I'm choosing to focus on the horse riding at this point...
  8. I think Shiyi’s mom’s death is related to the Ou family. I do wonder though why in the previews, the second lead looks like he gets a lashing. I love seeing Houye finally come to terms with his feelings and work toward getting close to Shiyi. Love that he even broke his window on purpose just so he can stay with her. And love that he held her hand and tried to kiss her when they were fixing the sheets together. It goes to show he’s now actively pursuing her. I am also glad that Madame Xu finally saw Qian for what she really was and that she finally sees Shiyi’s true nature and good qualities. It’s about time!!
  9. LSG said that this role is so different from all his prior roles and it’s making me think he’s the killer! Lol But seriously eager to see his character development in this one and am curious if he’s a character with layers.
  10. Thank you for explaining the previews @SnT! Definitely excited for the next episodes. yay!!! I’m so happy to see that she’s finally being exposed for all her evil deeds!! And I must admit I’m a total sucker for scenes where the male lead saves the female lead. Just look at how Houye dashes in to save and protect Shiyi!
  11. If the article is to be believed, it makes it seem like LSG is definitely not the serial killer.
  12. I need subtitles! I have no idea what is happening in the previews!! It doesn’t look good for Shiyi though and I can’t gauge what Houye is thinking.
  13. What I like about Shiyi’s relationship with Zhun is that she is filling the void that Zhun has from losing is mother but Shiyi does it in such a natural and non-aggressive way. She loves and supports Zhun in ways that benefit the child instead of her. So we can clearly see that she is putting the child’s needs first. I also really appreciate that she doesn’t try to erase Yuanniang’s presence or memories. We saw this when she sang the same lullaby when Zhun was sick. Another thing I appreciate is how she is trying to bridge the gap between father and son. She clearly sees there is a distance between Zhun and Houye and she is encouraging them both to become closer.
  14. So what does that mean then? That Houye doesn't actually want to divorce Shiyi?
  15. I also thought the same.. when JH was being strangled, even though the mom was a little blurry, it still looked more like HH's wife - same hair, same voice. And the way she reacted made sense to me since not only does JH carry the gene but his father was a convicted serial killer. I think that for the other mom, even though her child also carried the gene, she would have possibly looked at her child not as a carrier of the gene but more a reminder of her late husband who was a good man. So my guess is that the child was loved dearly despite having the gene.
  16. @SnT what does he lee shu mean again? So you suspect that the divorce is possibly arranged by Houye as a trap? I just finished watching ep 19 and 20...
  17. @YanaI’m sorry to hear about your accident and your grandma. My condolences to you and your family on your grandma’s passing. I hope your accident wasn’t too serious and that your recovery goes well.
  18. Ok thanks @NiteWalker! I might check out the first two episodes and see if it pulls me in.
  19. @Darkarcana I’ve always loved this one. My kids love it too.
  20. I actually think the opposite because as a wife, I would've felt totally blindsided, fooled, confused, ashamed, disgusted... And to think someone you are intimately familiar with is capable of such evil is just... hard to come to terms with. I think it would have been more understandable if she stayed somewhere else and asked a friend to pack up her stuff or for her to get her things and leave right away. I also found it strange that she chose to came back to the house considering there were so many reporters outside. But anyway, it's neither here nor there. The real question is.. who's the psychopath!!!!
  21. @NiteWalker how is the chemistry between the leads? I don't think I'm familiar with either one of them.
  22. @SnT I think there isn't one specific instance but rather a series of small things that started to make him fall for her.. for me, the following scenes were turning points for him: When he asked her if she was okay giving up managing the household and he was surprised by her answer in that the goal is to get things done so as long as things are getting done, then it doesn't matter who does them. I think this was the very first of her many actions that made him start to notice her. I think this is because she had behaved contradictory to what he would have expected every other "wife" to react. The way she took such good care of Zhun. She even sang to him the same lullaby Yuanniang would sing to him. Even though there were other family members willing to care for Zhun, she really put all her effort in caring for him. When she deduced his innermost feelings - about him worrying about something but feeling powerless to do anything about it. When she was willing to leave for Danyang's well-being. When she made personal sacrifices during the moldy rice incident. It wasn't even her fault and she could have take advantage of the opportunity for personal gain and yet she made personal sacrifices, putting the needs of the family first. And to do this when she didn't have affection for LingYi yet. That shows that she truly is just a good person.
  23. @NiteWalker Same! I'm actually surprised she went back to the house! I would have not wanted to be anywhere near that place considering he stuffed the heads in the snowmen!! Who knows what else is lying around... CREEPY!
