I agree with you. Also, he's been away from JJ for 9 years and he for sure missed her and is longing for the same close bond they had when they were kids. Him returning home and finding that the relationship is a bit awkward, combined with the fact that they're the only family he has, is probably making him a bit panicky and wanting to put things back the way they were before he left. The scene where they are celebrating HePing's birthday and ZQ follows JJ home and says "please don't abandon me" is actually very telling of his insecurities. He was abandoned by his mother and he is afraid the lose the only family he knows.

Because the way i see it, his story arc is about belonging and finally at peace as part of the family. Sigh.....

I, too, ship ZQ's happiness. Even if LX and JJ are destined to be together, I still want ZQ to be happy. I, too, am not confident that he will end up with anyone in particular but I actually would prefer that as his story is about a sense of belonging.

High in sugar, it definitely is! Which is why I only have it once in a while. It's so good on a really hot day though!

@themarchioness lol yes, LX and JJ are destined to be together. As for ZQ, I also think that he loves JJ only as a sister.

I am not a “tea lover” per se but I do love Bubble Teas!!

@NiteWalker I like it. The first 2 episodes were only so-so for me bec I was still getting to know the characters and Li XinCheng (Jerry’s character) is reserved and a bit mopey in the beginning. But he has a past that we get glimpses of in each episode. 
 

what I enjoy the most are the interactions between XC and XY (the two leads). They are cute together!

infact i think JianJian is starting to take note of LingXiao....she was a lil sourish when LingXiao admitted to liking someone and to him, she is pretty and cute hahahaha.... 😄 

which episode was this? Man I’m dying to watch but can’t find the new episodes yet 😭sorry I keep asking you @NiteWalker but you understand the language and I have to wait for the subs and I have ZERO patience since I’m obsessed with this drama. 
 

@Lynne that’s one of my favourite scenes because LX is so resolved and sure of his feelings for JJ. This is why I keep saying he’s always liked her even back then. Gah I cannot wait for them to be together!!

@NiteWalker thank you! I think it was a poor choice of timing for TanCan to have said that considering JJ didn't know the gravity of the situation. I love how LX right away runs to her and holds her when she cries.. 

Scene in episode 10... look at their shirts! Black and white and both styled the same way but just opposite sides of the shirt is tucked in.

In the scene where ZQ ends up at the hospital, why was JJ crying? Sorry, I just saw the RAW versions without subs so I couldn't figure out what was happening. 

For some reason, the mothers in this drama are somewhat awful.. LX and ZQ's mom, MY's mom... I don't know what the current situation is between TC and her mom but it doesn't look good either.

@mademoisellesia I've been busy on the development side of things here on JangHaven so I haven't had the chance to really explore all of the content yet. But I plan on being frequent here.

@Alice Wonderland I also think that when MY finds out that LX likes JJ, she’s going to turn villain. Especially since her mom also says that JJ is talented and is always encouraging her to make something of herself. 
 

I ship TanCan and ZQ’s friend too. Lol

I just finished watching ep 15-16 and I have to say that both ZQ and LX are hiding their own hardships. 
 

The fact that ZQ is wearing/borrowing LX’s clothes is a telling sign that he doesn’t have a lot of money as everyone thinks. 

Does anyone have English translations for the scene where LX is throwing garbage but JJ thinks he’s leaving again? I’d love to know what they were saying.

Ps. I prefer him clean-shaven. I don’t like the scruff on his face and I feel like he needs a haircut. Haha but still very handsome. 😍
