    LOL the problem with Havenite girls, we can't be loyal to one guy @JenL I do wish you would love RW a lil' bit more but I think no luck again with a CJH look-alike in the mix. Aish! LOL. Yeah I enjoyed the scene where she yelled 5 steps! You've watched episode 4 already, right? It's a particular kind of smiles... maybe with "raised cheek" wide smiles? I think that is the similarities between Jasper, CJH and Nam Yoon Su. If we talk about just smiles in general, Rowoon's smiles are killing me in here too but it's just not the kind you guys are weak at knee for === Speaking about ponds, @ktcjdrama I thought it was a lake that Mr. Queen and The Last Empress fell into? I think Moonlight Drawn by Clouds also have one scene (I vaguely remember PBG was wet), and then there's Hong Cheon Ki, although again, I can't be sure that's a lake or a pond either hahahaha. ==== @ktcjdrama Bwahahaha I'm sure this Kim Ga On isn't like the Ga On in The Devil Judge xDDD Bringing in more hotties GIFs!     One of my fave scenes from episode 3. This actor played Eric's brother in Oh Hae Young Again and he's obviously scouted by the PD who directed the drama OHYA. He's hilarious. Good at comedy so I look forward to more of him with Rowoon. source

    I'm watching episode 14 now. I think water must have entered the writer's head. I can't help being sarcastic in my head when Yangmyeong tells the unconscious King that Haram is Ilwolseong who knows everything but he knows absolutely nothing about Mawang or Hwacha...? Plus I thought he wanted to stay away from Cheon Ki because Mawang is inside him but now they are hiding in the same place and spending time together? What??? What happened to Mi Sun? Is she dead? If she is not, then I expect her to also have lost her power like Wol Sun. Edit: Okay never mind. She hasn't lost her power. Makes no sense! Also what are we missing in the sealing ceremony? Don't tell me it is Hwacha??? Also what is the meaning to Cheon Ki's injured hand? Surely it is not a good sign for a painter's hand. I don't know how it works but how is it that Joohyang can exile Yangmyeong so easily? When the King and Crown Prince are both sick/unconscious, surely someone powerful will take over but I would not think Joohyang was given that much power by the King. Omg who is that old man who heals/wakes the King??? Did I miss something when I turned away xD

    Wow, @abs-oluteM look at the muscles just below his armpit...not sure what's that called LOL. I think he looks just nice and not over doing it. Now he can go back to eat other food than just chicken breasts.

    Episode 4 Hmm, I'm also not sure why "Samgaebang" is bad when it is just a clinic. Perhaps it is because "gae-bang" is not a good word and there are a lot of women (including courtesan) visiting the clinic, and Ji Woon also goes to the courtesan house. Rowoon's shirtless scene was so unnecessary (and it was different to the highlight preview too! - why edited out, KBS?). Clearly it was all for fan service. Too bad we don't get more from this scene in the BTS. Tsk. LOL. Would love to see Eun Bin's real reaction to all that skin, kekeke. When Hwi/Dam expressed her displease with "birds of feather flock together" when Lee Hyun asked about Ji Woon. Bwahahaha! The look on Hyun's face was gold since he's one of those birds. I really enjoy the controntational scene between Hwi-Woon. Even though I know Ji Woon will not be hurt but I didn't know how it will play out so the thrill was there and I found my muscles all tightened and holding my breath at that very moment when Hwi released the arrow. That was very good performance from both actors. I don't think the grandmother necessary said all those to the King because she cares about Hwi's well-being. It's just hard to trust anyone in the palace. There's power play involved and she's also maintaining her power by not allowing other factions becoming too strong that will threaten her power. From Hwi's questioning towards Ga On on who he works for indicated there are 3-4 separate factions at play now (Grandmother, Queen, King and grandfather). I sincerely hope Ga On eventually become Hwi's person too. I'm curious what his backstory is. Must say I do have a weakness for stoic, quiet male character! I like that Ji Woon has guts challenging not only Dam/Hwi, he's also standing his ground towards his father and Minister Han. The political play here is something to look forward to. I just hope the show can maintain & stay strong till the end. With this exam, it opened up the door for Hwi/Dam to see Ji Woon in a new light as well, and I look forward to them becoming friends. Lee Hyun's action towards Hwi continues to confuse me but I think he knows her identity because it is just weird that he would buy her a ring. Unless I've to apply a "modern" view into this fusion sageuk that he's buying a ring for a man. I don't know, I think from his actions he knows Hwi is a she. I might change my mind again next week, hahaha!

    You know what? I had a hunch you would say that! I think it's the lower part of his face/smiles (dimples) similar to CJH! This PD is sneaky. He not only hire Rowoon, but also make sure his other supporting male actors are good-looking too! Just how desperate he is to win all the ladies' hearts for this drama? Hahahahaha. I've only watched half of episode 4 during lunch. Love that scene of Eun Bin with Rowoon confrontational scene. Eun Bin was awesome with her facial expression and same for Rowoon.

    My goodness. What's with the graphics all of a sudden? Where's that cool Ma Wang we saw in episode 1? They made Ahn Hyo Seop look like a panda/ghost.

    Episode 3 was an engaging episode. I thought it was quite funny that in the beginning scene, Rowoon must be so hot and sweating non-stop that they couldn't not capture his sweat dripping off his chin . And I love the puzzled look on Park Eun Bin's face when Rowoon easily swung her around and have her on his arm with ease. It was like, "Wait? What just happened?" Hahahahaha! Did everyone in the palace lost to her in a sword fight that she thought she was really that good? Because that's how her disbelief/puzzle look implied. I think I've pretty much got my head around what's with the palace politics now (nothing new). One side trying to maintain/uphold their power (Queen Dowager and Hwi's grandfather) and the other side who backs the the new Queen is trying to expand power. I honestly had wished she was genuine when she asked about Hwi/Dam's well-being but then she walked away with an evil smirk I just wanted to slap her then & there. It's curious who sends an assassin after Dam and I think I am on the right track to suspect it is Kim Ga On, who later will become Dam's bodyguard. Eeekk, is he even trustworthy? As for Lee Hyun (the one who gifted Dam the pen brush). I honestly wish I'm being overly sensitive and the show wouldn't do this in a period drama but why oh why do I get the vibe that he likes men? I mean, his character description makes him even more fishy! He's looking at Dam with ♥-♥ heart eyes, don't you guys think? I mean, he's even custom made a pen for Dam! But a couple of scenes and expressions seem to hint he knew Dam is a woman. Please tell me I'm wrong but so many dramas I'm watching are touching on this topic that it is hard not to suspect! Was it you, @ktcjdrama? I think the Crown Princess (Hwi/Dam's mother) really died of stress, LOL! Seeing how she constantly has to worry of Dam revealing herself and kill those who found out for her. My first impression on Shin So Eun is not good. For her to even suggest tattooing Young Ji's face tells me she's not a kind person and she was rude. I'm glad Ji Woon called her out. Now she's all heart eyes at my Ji Woon. , she's not allowed to adopt my Oppa. LOL. Poor Young Ji and Jil Geum, getting their bums break open in the next episode. I hope Young Ji will be OK because from her conversation with Ji Woon, it seems like her health is not that great since Ji Woon asked if she had fever. And this is how Ji Woon enters the palace as Hwi's teacher. I had thought he was trying to keep his promise. Ever since that incident, he had avoided the palace and only went that night to find out if adult Dam was OK. He has a good heart, and I absolutely love his short exchange with actor Heo Jeong Min (playing Byulgam Koo). LOL, so cute.
