  1. Bahahaha @SilverMoonTea I thought Voice is turning into a movie with your SSH! Oooh. Sux. Can be so many things including firmware/software issues after upgrades. Have you tried troubleshooting through Google and/or reset?
  2. Finale - Episode 16 Adding to @abs-oluteM about the villagers having great development, I think Hae Kang's family is a large contributor to this change. Although I wouldn't give all the credit to Hae Kang alone (else he'll have big head) but he did bring hope to the Racket Boys team and motivated them, and his sweetness towards Halmoni drags her out of loneliness. Hae In, too, helped by just hanging out with them. His Baek Jong Won's curry helps heal the City Couple. Obviously it isn't a one way street - the support, friendliness and love from the Racket Boys and the villagers keep Hae Kang's family together too, and they became a larger (and noisy) family. Regardless of how silly the last shot looked in the Mens Double, I was in tears when they won. I think I had a mixture of feelings - I was happy they won and I was sad it's coming to an end. I wanted Hae Kang to win all the way but I also think it was only fitting that he lost. Although realistically, he should lose to a professional player who has always been actively competiting rather than Kang Tae Son who also recently picks up on badminton. I believe it tries to symbolise something there except I'm not quite convince of it. I wish we get more insights to Hae Kang's eye. Did his eye recover a year later? Lee Kyun Hyung's cameo was kinda random but I do love the short reunion between the two PP actors and them throwing each other PP's reference. Hahaha. I thought his partner is Kim Seul Gi but turns out it's... lol. @JenL hadn't seen so I shan't spoil it. When Hae Kang tells Se Yoon he likes her, omg, I was in joy and said "Finally!!!" When they were at the beach I was chanting internally for them it's perfect timing to hold hands! And they kick it off by doing a cute pinky holding first. Awwwww. These kiddos. The innocence, the youth... so adorable. And LMAO, why are they so scared of Young Tae finding out they're couples? Hahaha @abs-oluteM & @ktcjdrama I was sort of laughing at your posts on how an ending should be. I totally get the hint there. Lastly, thank you guys for watching this with me! I'll end this post with some awesome photos of The Racket Boys casts:
  3. Maybe you already have it whereas for us, it is "new release". I notice some kdramas that initially have streaming rights sold to e.g. iQiyi is unlikely to be available to us immediately whereas you guys being in Asia somehow gets these contents first.
  4. Oh. So it's not available to NF in SG? Bwahaha, you can use a wireless mouse and FF from where you watch from. That's how I do it but rarely bother (I just play with phone if I'm bored). Yeah, it's the main reason why we intro this drama coz YJG was awesome here. I didn't mind the romance scenes as much. Felt like there isn't that much actually. There is a movie on this too played by Lee Byung Hun (this is older).
  5. It's because he idolizes Hae Kang since then. Hae Kang is his goal and strongest opponent (although I thought it is weird because normally one would pick a more established player when setting their goal). Hahaha yes, I notice some PP references too. BTS Deleted scenes
  6. @Chocolate Not sure whether it is easy. I'm guessing not if he wants to expand his agency since he would need to sign actors who has bright future and help the agency earn money. And then you've to be careful these actors don't involve in scandals. Which is why I believe later some let theirs getting absorbed by bigger ones (e.g. Song Seung Heon's and Hyun Bin's VAST). The perks of being a one man agency is Ji Sung will have more say to what he wants to do and need not answer to the higher ups. He keeps what he earns except paying the manager/assistant (Cody) and other staff like fashion and hair stylists (A knowledgeable Ji Chang Wook's fan told me this is already out of the artist's salary anyway even when in agencies). The difference is in the networking and social relationships of the agencies with TV stations, CF businesses and so on. Remember when we watch Start-Up, I mentioned NJH and Suzy were from SOOP (big shot) vs Kim Seon Ho from SALT? Strong agency provides good backup, resources and opportunities. @ktcjdrama I think it is because them being at the crime scene will develop into a scandal. No matter what, it will raise an eyebrow as to why they are meeting in private and afterhours due to their difference in status i.e. judges vs suspect/defendant. It's also bad for their public images and like @bairama said, Ga On touched her - messing with the crime scene when he who practice the law should know better...?
  7. @Chocolate The Crowned Clown is out on NF!!! Watch watch watch! Who else hasn't seen this? Watccccchhhhh! xD
  8. @Chocolate look what appear on my weibo! https://video.weibo.com/show?fid=1034:4668390057640010 @SilverMoonTea LOL, when there's love there's will 🤣 Like you right now! Edit: how many actors/actresses can you guys recognise from that clip? I know all the girls. Han Ye Seul's acting was shocking. The guys only HB and JGS.
  9. He looks like he was over-PS! @SilverMoonTea That post is just you trying to find a reason to post more SSH. The solution is time will tell how much longer you'll love him. The fever will come down soonish. Did you complete rubbish drama?
  10. I actually thought her aim was to kill Yo Han, not his right hand man. The Clown & et al. were clear they want Yo Han dead. Although not killing Yo Han can be explained as "because the show must go on" or she plans to torture him first by having him witness all of his loved ones' being killed first and he is the last. If that's the case, then ok, totally makes sense. I think it's similar to the debate of Bluebird team vs the Prosecutor in Taxi Driver. It's not because he doesn't know it, it is more like he believes justice should be served by abiding the law. His character is not fleshed out well. It's disappointing since actor Ahn Nae Sang could contribute so much more to the drama. It's not very clear how much power he has in the organisation because Yo Han gets his live show approvals from the other guy, not him, so I always think he's not so high up in the rank even if the title is Chief Justice (the other guy is also Chief Justice according to AsianWiki) - maybe a limitation when translating Korean ranks to English.
  11. I totally agree. I've been wishing for him to grow tall for few years now but I don't think it is happening It's a pity...
  12. Bwahahaha yes, I wanna do it to Jin Young too Awesome I was looking for "kkang-pae" but the bigger text on the top and subs threw me off. Thank you for confirming. I was pondering it doesn't seem right that he's calling Yo Han and Yo Han would definitely have answered his call. --- By the way, I don't want Sun Ah or Clown President to die. Death is too easy. The best revenge is keeping them alive, suffering and punished where they wish they were dead (生不如死).
  13. Episode 12 Two of my favourite lines in this episode which I find impactful and made a strong impression are: 1. Ga On: To me, Yoon Soo Hyun is my world. 2. Yo Han: I don't care if humanity is lost as long as I have you two. I had to improvise Yo Han's line, can't remember word for word but waaaaa, Yo Han acknowledging Ga On is important to him! I mean we all knew it but he is admitted it! Progress! As for Ga On and Soo Hyun, the whole world knows but this confession is even better than "I love you". *Heart flutters* And yes, poor Elijah! I feel so sorry when I see how upset she is. Not that Yo Han isn't. However he had me question about whether he was affected by Cha Kyung Hee's death at all and whether he's experiencing some normal human emotions but is not showing it. Meanwhile Ga On was obviously shaken and disgusted of himself whereas Yo Han seems unfazed that they somewhat pushed her into a corner and indirect cause her to choose death. Was it because Cha Kyung Hee is an enemy? Will he feel it this time with right hand man's death? Yo Han's promise to give Sun Ah a lonely & miserable death (wait, did he say death?) suitable for her is raising expectation. I would be very disappointed if this isn't delivered satisfactorily. Funnily I don't hate Sun Ah (she's an awesome villain) but because she is a villain who tries to take down Yo Han and his beloved ones, she unfortunately can't be spared of any mercy in the end; however, there is one other character I want so bad to tear his face up and wish him an even worse ending than Sun Ah. That loud clown President! I was furious at what he said to Sun Ah. It felt like a personal attack to all women. His remarks were extremely sexist. If Yo Han isn't going to take him down in the most painful way (not death coz death is too easy) then I need Sun Ah to do it. Grrrrr. I wish Yo Han would bother to persuade Chief Justice Min to his side. I didn't think it was that difficult to show him the evidences he has so far on the Social Responsibility Foundation. Even if Chief Justice Min doesn't believe him 100%, at least doubt is raised. The way things presented at the moment makes Chief Justice Min look rather blind and completely unaware of the corrupted system and/or the conspiracy behind what the government is up to. The truth about the con artist and Juk Chang would have been convincing. I find Judge Oh suddenly appearing on TV reporting about the virus rather odd. She's a judge, not a newscaster. By the way, when Ga On was in his room making a phone call - is that correctly subbed? Was he really calling Yo Han not Soo Hyun? Ga On was slapped... but I was swooning source: dingyuxi Bonus for Ahjussi lovers: And I love this combination of fashion
  14. I went to a korean grocery shop, the aim was to buy Japanese green tea (in tea bags) but ended up buying a whole heaps of things and found an amazing, ingenius ice cream dessert. Imuraya's Yawamochi Can't believe this is already out 3 years ago and it only came here now (?). It is a green tea ice cream with red bean paste and mochi. SO GOOD! I now regret I only bought one to try. Gomaya Kuki's Sesame Seeds Ice Cream Another ice cream must not be missed is Japan's Gomaya Kuki's Sesame Seeds ice creams. The Triple Black Sesame Seeds ice cream (the top in the pic) is my favourite. It has the strongest sesame seed flavour compared to the white or less concentrated sesame flavours.
  15. My schedule used to be filled Mon to Sun. LOL. And now most of them are like 1 episode per week or 20 mins per episode. What is this preposterous scheduling?! Now the only crack drama is The Devil Judge, which btw, how come you're not interested? It's like a vigilante type of drama too. Very good acting from all the casts. I have something in my list on NF but no motivation to start because no Oppaaaa.
  16. @JenL You got me thinking about which Disney Princess character(s) I like and realise I didn't have a favourite. I have a few favourite cartoons I would re-watch when young - mainly Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid because I have the videos. The 2nd & 3rd are top preference in their drawings, especially Aurora, she is the most beautiful princess (and one of the most useless LOLLL - but loved the drawings). The rest are because I loved the songs. Little Mermaid, aside from the flaws, it was a fun watch. With Mulan, I listen to "Reflection" the most. As Disney moved towards the end of the 90s, I became less interested mainly because rather than classic musical style, the songs became modern Pop songs. My favourite Disney character though... hahaha, do not laugh at me, is Experiment 626: Stitch! He is the cutest! I'm confused with this bit. Was the food supposed to bring her "fake love" or cloud her judgement? Because the singer wish for the guy she loves to return to her. So I half expected Jin would have a guy (or guys) fawning over her, not the other way around. True, I find media (TV/films) is an alternate ways of brain-washing/influencing people. For example I had seen an old version of Anne of Green Gables when young and recently Netflix has Anne with an E. This version added contents that weren't part of the original e.g. the racism issues faced by the Red Indians and Black people, feminism as well as homosexual. I've taken notice there are now many media advocating feminism and acceptance of homosexuality. That's nice of your family. Mine...
  17. Minus Racket Boys, I now have: Mon - Tue You Are My Spring (tvN) Wed - Thu None!!! Thu Hospital Playlist S2 (tvN) Fri The Witch's Diner (TVING) Superior Shaman Doo Shim (Kakao TV) Sat Nevertheless (JTBC) Sat - Sun The Devil Judge (tvN)
  18. BTS for @TRaNz (hopefully more interesting for you than the show itself... lol)
  19. BTS Bahahahahaha @abs-oluteM I'm not clicking into it but there is one that has "DADDY ISSUES" slabbed on the video cover. I didn't click into that either but hahahaha just find the title funny. Ok, who dares to click into this one?
