  1. Hahahahahahaha @SilverMoonTea This is just for you again?
  2. Ga On was somehow at the riots (preview). Did Yo Han went to save him (because Sun Ah seems to use it as a threat against Yo Han) and then Yo Han was shot...? I might have to join you @im0202 in live streaming LOL!

  5. Hahaha @stroppyse the first thing that came into my mind is Song Hwa: "Must I only choose one?" *Can-not-decide. @TRaNz Will you choose Maccas?
  6. Happy 1 Year Old, Jang Haven! Thank you and it is an honour to be nominated. It all started with @NiteWalker Angie inviting me to the Add/Minus thread and the friendships built up from there. I am also happy to meet a few Havenites who share the same passion as I am in our the more the merrier Oppa love, hahahahaha, you guys know who you are! Thank you for making this place hospitable, friendly and welcoming. Thank you for your patience, humour and fun. For many years more to come, I wish you and Jang Haven prosperity and everyone stays healthy.
  7. Episode 8 The TV rating hit its lowest for this episode. We're now looking at 0.994%. It's not going to be an accurate indication since the age group this show targets is the younger audience however it is true that pure romance doesn't do very well for kdramas these days. Koreans still love their makjang. The reason why I think Jae Eon and Nabi are in a relationship is being answered by Bit Na's conversation with Dimples (a cameo! - hate his hair though). I don't know what's Bit Na's backstory but this is obviously quite twisted. Obviously I don't know if Jae Eon thinks "yonae" as the same as Bit Na too. I lol-ed when Nabi tells Do Hyuk "You are a good guy". Yup. Do Hyuk, that means you stand no chance. Also when Do Hyuk said he can't stop and that he really likes her, I was all, "Why? What exactly did you like about Nabi?". I'd have questioned that the Nabi he likes was many years ago, he barely knows the Nabi now. Is it really love/like and not infatuation of an old memory/image of Nabi he once knew? This week Chae Jong Hyeop have been rejected in two dramas @Tofu. Let's just kidnap him. We'll treat him better. @Mouse I'm not sure Do Hyuk is marriage material or not but I'd choose him over Jae Eon for the food he makes, LOL! Being good in bed is overrated As noted on Twitter, there seems to be mistranslation of Jae Eon's line again this episode although this time I don't understand the vocab and can only rely on the C-subs of different versions. So according to Jae Eon, he fell in love with Nabi at first sight at the gallery when she experienced her biggest humiliation?
  8. That's me everyday... LOLLLL how can I not? It such a great line! Cannot be couch potato today unfortunately. Need to prep lunchboxes for work next week
  9. Episode 11 Yo Han miscalculated Cha Kyung Hee, didn't he? I'm surprised that she chose to kill herself. In the end, she chose to protect her son. I'm honestly a bit annoyed that Cha Kyung Hee went down first before the other 3 men. I just thought if there's anyone who is probably smarter to go against Yo Han, it would be both Cha Kyung Hee and Sun Ah. The other 3 seem to be easier targets. I don't have much to say about this episode and feel that the more important episode will be the next. It definitely wasn't a good idea of Yo Han inviting Sun Ah to the mansion (not sure what she sees in this mansion anyway, I so dislike the wallpapers). It was obvious that she did not like Ga On fit right in the family and as per E12 preview, she wants Yo Han continue to be lonely. This time we don't have a family dinner but a family Jenga game. Yo Han and his pretense cracks me up... It was nice to see it revealed that Ga On didn't take everything the Priest said about Yo Han literally. BTW, who wears like this at home??? A shirt, a scarf, work pants??? So uncomfortable. source
  10. LOL, like Dan said, it's breakfast. I'm aiming to use mine for 2-3 years or until the battery no longer can sustain. Agree Huawei is good, sigh... but unfortunately politics have to get in the way so Huawei is out of the question now.
  11. LOL, I'm kind of glad I don't have kids. I still remember the older generations shake their heads at us (our gens), now I'm shaking my heads at the young kids these days. (Signs that I'm ageing ). But I kind of also don't think it's not possible for them to have short attention spans because if they watch a movie in the cinema, the movie itself is still 2 hours!
  12. Hahaha is it? I think for those who really enjoys and loves the show, it's a huge bonus. I think I could do it with 2 episodes short, just because last week's episode went on soooooo slow and nothing really came out of it. But yes, rather than the BTS, I do like how they have both leads play games and share their thoughts about this story. What is concerning is that young girls might think they will/can be Nabi and is able to change their Jae Eon - especially if the end game is Nabi/Jae Eon are back together and Jae Eon became a better person. But I guess that is part of growing up. You make mistake and you learn from it.
  13. I like what you said about the son maturing and possibly that's the case. I think it's a bit of a fairy tale of an ending because being paid to take care of dementia patient for 8-12 hours is different to taking care of one 24/7. That is what the woman is marrying into. Maybe there will be one out of a million who would do it, I'm just not so positive about it. I also think what we were shown of the son is one-sided from the mother's point of view. The son works at the restaurant and restaurant mostly opens 24/7. I could interpret it as him wanting more rest and sleep till the sun sets or to his heart's content. However oldies don't think the same, they think a person should always wake up super early in the morning even though it's a bloody weekend! The scene where she complained the son doesn't know "how to take off his own socks", that to me, is the mother's responsibility—for cleaning up after him all the time and made it into a bad habit. Now she's going to pass this chores of hers to the daughter-in-law. I find it similar to the singer on the basis that both sacrifices their life. If we want singer to think of herself, likewise, I much prefer the mother to think of herself too. She has sacrificed enough of her life, worrying and taking care of her son.
  14. Cuts - E11 E12 preview seems to show Yo Han was shot (?) That getting shot scene most likely going to be the cliffhanger so that we'll suffer for a week... sigh.
  15. The crying scene he put eye drops and something underneath his eyes. He didn't even bother to try to cry for real lol
  16. @ktcjdrama You are maybe onto something on "blessings in disguise". Episode 5-6 Two episodes in one is just a nice length especially after watching a 20mins short episode of Shaman Doo Shim. Aish. I'm so mad at Jin giving up her chance with Gil Yong and went to see that prick. So the guy is married and had a daughter in secret? It's not a secret anymore if he shows up without disguise and attended his daughter's birthday party in public, isn't it? Even though we knew from the get-go he is bad news, it still doesn't stop me wanting to throw knives at him and shake Jin to wake up and see he's a bad news. If she has premonition of them together, why isn't she getting premonition of his infidelity? And the conversation of Hee Ra with Director Oh and her mother on separate occasion is confusing. Is Hee Ra trying to change Jin's fate or what? She herself didn't want to follow the natural order but then she tells Jin to accept the natural order... it just got me confused even more. I find it a little off that Jin just knows that she's have this special power and potentially becoming a witch. I'm half expecting her to question why or even how. I think the one who questioned it is Gil Yong rather than her and how is it that nothing fazes Gil Yong? Not even when he finds out Jin may be a witch too??? LOL. Harry Potter trained him too well, is it? I honestly can't say I like that Halmoni sacrifices herself so that her son could find a partner in life and that's supposed to be a happy thing for his son, or anyone. Like the singer giving up her voice for love, I think it's no different for this one. I also did not like that Halmoni made the decision without discussing with the son. Her wish for the son is hers alone but is it his son's wish? We just all assume marriage and starting a family is the end game for one's life - the last station of happiness - but is it really? Maybe for this story it is, since the writer is the one making that decision but in reality, it cannot apply to everyone. I'm glad to see the guy who lost his fingers found a job and even married the girl he saved. But will he truly be OK because he didn't get the job based on his ability so will people in the company be able to accept him and not criticise he got in through the back door.
  17. @im0202 @abs-oluteM He's playing with fire. But... RAWR. Why is it so smexy? I find it even spicier than Nevertheless because of the tension. source
  18. I think after this episode, I feel I'll have to stop and let it accumulate and watch it in one go. 20 minutes is too short and very unsatisfying. Long story short, I thought it was the male ghost who possessed Woo Soo and hugged Doo Shim. Turns out it was Grandma. They both disappeared together 10 years ago so I thought they went to the afterlife. But it looks like they've been wandering for the past 10 years, in which Grandma never appear until now. Now it made more sense that it was likely Doo Shim and Grandma in Woo Soo's body fighting the evil spirit in episode 1 and not exactly Woo Soo. Obviously I hope it is Woo Soo himself... we'll find out soon. Thanks to Grandma, Woo Soo now can see ghosts and he'll learn to understand Doo Shim and not be a jerk he initially had been.
  19. Yup, wish I could see this for reals, lol! My Rowoon will win because he actually took lessons to film the scene (EY) whereas Song Kang only pretend to swing.
  20. Me. LOL. He just looks naive. Why are you still watching rubbish!?
  21. BTS LOL, they even have to "plan" how much porridge to put on his face @Tofu
