  1. Okay, I need to take back what I said... Assuming every month of cleaning uninhabited island, 15 years he could only cover 180 islands. Pardon my ignorance... lol...
  2. I love love love the ending This drama is so beautifully directed and edited. How from one small stage we transitioned to the big stage. I got tears of joy welling up my eyes. Another scene that got me also was during Ran Joo's mother's passing. Not much shown, yet the feel was strong. Contrary to most, I'm fine with the bio-dad passing. He was too evil to ever realise he is in the wrong. Even while taking his own life, he was doing it to punish his family first and foremost. I think if he was jailed, he would never ever grant his wife a divorce, so they would never have closure and a new life. Agree. Maybe some community service. Could that family's decision of taking their own life had an effect too on the verdict? No. Because he died of suicide. Same here. Which is why I wasn't that hopeful he would survive, especially with that much blood shown. Should they have made the stab on the stomach? But the bio-dad is so evil smart, he knew to fo for the neck. It would make him look inconsistent if he only stabbed the stomach. Well, at least they made it believable that Dad fell into a coma, and I also love the scenes where everyone, one by one, is calling him earnestly to come back. The best was of course how his wife called him ~ "I want to live as your wife". I was sobbing so much the first 15 minutes of the show. I should've gone to bed and not watch the finale first, because my eyes were already swollen from ep.11, but I had to know whether he pulled through or not! So yeah, you're looking at lacking-of-sleep panda here. I guess my only wonder (since the beginning) was about what (or if any) difference would it make if the writer had made the period of being castaway on isolated island be 10 years instead of 15 years? Somehow that is easier to accept. I tried to think back on my life 15 years ago, and that's a really long time even when filled with so many events and milestones. I just cannot imagine how to stay sane (and easily adapt back to modern life) after 15 years being a castaway. Besides, how many deserted islands are there around Korea that it took Ki Ho 15 years to finally find the right island? You know what I mean? Haha... never mind me. Just letting this out of my system.
  3. Ep.11 should come with a warning to prepare a box of tissues while watching... I lost count how many times I wiped away the tears streaming from my eyes. And at the end of it, when I finally have a reason to smile, they got me crying again at that last minute, though I had already expected what will happen but still, the desperation that Woo Hak was displaying got me tearing again. I didn't see the preview, so I have no idea what happened to their true father in the next episode. I really hope he will be alright, but am not very hopeful tbh... This drama has very well written relationships (the ups and downs, the good the bad) and very well presented to the viewers that you cannot not be touched by what the characters are experiencing.
  4. Thanks for the tag chingu... I am not sure about this, especially I have a bad habit of starting but not finishing period dramas, LOL... Too slow
  5. My friend saw him at Incheon Airport, and managed to get a selfie with him!! I want to watch, but probably leisurely... so many dramas to catch up with
  6. I knew about this drama... but didn't plan on watching because of the makjang elements. Besides, Sung Hoon still reminds me of Love ft.Marriage&Divorce, which was a huge mess, but I did manage to finish watching all 3 seasons. Don't ask me how and why It was entertainingly addictive... Will put this on my watch list, even though I am so behind with many dramas recently.
  7. just tag me... oppa or not... it's easy to sell dramas (and oppas) to me. Furry little things, muscular beings, alpha females, angsty melos, lost aliens or lone ghosts... Just that not sure why, am not too into heavy (=violent) dramas this year.
  8. I agree that it can stand as its own drama. Am enjoying the past storyline more than the present.
  9. I won't say I adopted him as oppa... but I'm a big fan since WWW when I discovered he was Marco. I have watched all his dramas, and movie Kill Bok Soon
  10. I am still at ep.4, no time to watch ep.5-6 yet... but I just want to say that the story in the past ie. the feel between these two is so intense! even though one is hating the other so much.
  11. From the last few minutes of the episode, I believe Mok Ha managed to talk him out of it, by reminding him that whatever he's looking at is a crime and it will ruin him. He pinkie-promised her... I think he purposely went to find his father to get beaten and thus the 5 years statute of limitations for domestic abuse become effective again. It is. To a teenager that is Seo Mok Ha I love how naturally he just answered: of course, only a crazy person would search 15 years for someone he has no feelings for. See why I said he is scarily smart.... Everyone must join forces to bring him down!
  12. Ep.7 is so.good. I think my favourite episode so far. Watching it was like on an emotional roller coaster. Waiting for the result with bated breath, cheering with delight, crying with joy, trembling with fear, tearing in sadness, sighing a relief... everything... Ki Ho's father is scarily smart... He is not easily fooled by anything. Quiet but menacing. Kudos to the actor Lee Seung Joon, coz I also see him in Strong Girl Nam Soon, portraying a totally different character. I love that we get to see other characters perspectives ie. Ki Ho's mother's story on how she finally was able to escape her abusive husband. So it's true what many have guessed that they took on the identity of another missing family, which seems to have been found and it's only a matter of time before they were found out? Will the story go that direction at all, I wonder. Anyway, the side characters are given enough screen time. I always the opening of every episode where we're given a little bit of background story, or prologue, before we continue where we left off the episode before. Some revelations are also peppered seamlessly in the story eg. we found out that Ki Ho has never stopped looking for Mok Ha all these years with the island clean-up project he's always doing. I cried and on the verge of sobbing too when Mok Ha admitted to the diner lady how she lied and actually ate the eggs of her only "friend" on the island. We get some valuable life lessons too from her experience on the island.
  13. This!! But what Ki Ho did for Mok Ha when they were younger was so impressive... so I am still torn... yeah, maybe better no romance then. Could old lady be Ran Joo's mother??
  14. It doesn't seem to be too far down... so I guess it's possible to survive. For a top star's house, the gate of Jun Oh's house is too low, lol... so easy to just climb in.
  15. I'm enjoying it so far, but still a bit confused why the 500 years of multiple times of reincarnation for FL but ML stayed as a lost soul? Hopefully it will get clearer later on. Kim Young Dae portrays the characters well. Like @Tofu I disliked his Jun Oh so much, urgh! but felt sympathetic to his Do Ha... I like the actor playing the brother, Han Min Oh. Wish he can be given a lead role. His make-up artist should be retrained though (I'm trying hard not to use "fired" here)... He was like wearing a white mask in episode 2 when looking for Jun Oh's missing body in the hospital! Terrible terrible choice of make-up shade that contrasted too much with his neck colour!
  16. I liked that too... Good thing they showed us a little bit of progress on the OTP. Kang Hee Sik is so funny getting jealous and so angry seeing them through the spy cam His colleague was speechless.
  17. I am loving all the songs so far. Yeah, I cried too... Park Eun Bin's acting is so good at the part where she cried in frustration at around her 6th year on the island. I also think it's probably her imagining herself when older and being able to talk about this come-back moment to other people. But I checked and Wigen is cast as Ko San Hee. So maybe like what @Mizv had guessed, she is Ran Joo's mother? It could still be Jung Ki Ho. But yeah, sounds a bit like Jung Ki Ha ~ (typical siblings name, one different character). But does Ki Ho have an older brother? One who left first with mom, maybe? If so, the mother had both boys change their names? Anyway, I do wonder whether the abusive father is looking for Ki Ho because he was feeling repentant about the past and wanted to make amends? I mean, it doesn't make sense if he wants to find him and harm him, when he bought life insurance with Ki Ho as the sole benefactor. I'm not liking the "guess who Ki Ho is" game. I hope this will not drag out for too long. Besties please come forward and clear the confusion for us viewers. Come to think of it, how come Mok Ha's bestie doesn't come looking for her? Also, how could Mok Ha knows the song "That Night" so well when it was written after her disappearance. All these episode titles of something vs. something, are we going to get a "Woo Hak vs. Bo Goel" as the title of some future episode? LOL...
  18. Yes! I was so happy to discover that (especially in contrast to the frequent delayed airing of some dramas). I caught 4 episodes yesterday, but rather full today so haven't been able to continue. I love the drama so much even with just 4 episodes. Feel like I am learning along with Da Eun as she journeys in this new department. She's asking the questions I am asking too, lol... The characters (including side characters) are unique and interesting. The patients' backgrounds and stories are presented very well too. Editing and transitioning are also good. There are moving moments, there are also comedies. I laughed out a few times. His character here is the cutest indeed. Definitely rooting for him. Sorry but Yu Chan is totally just friends vibes. I am also rooting for Dr.Hwang to be able to convince Nurse Min that he will overcome all the obstacles between them. I hope she will give him a chance.
  19. The last scene was so dreamy just like the ending scene from previous episode. LOL… turns out that JSW is a total newbie in driving a car, yet he insisted on driving to the wedding with HN. It’s kinda cute that he prepared all those food and drinks in the car. Ready for a date on the road! Yul the nephew is so cute. I love him! It was so funny he called them on the phone, announced how fresh JSW is with driving and just yelled for HN to leave the car or else she'll die. The way he is always on HN’s side and suggested her to just date his uncle. And how he helped to smuggle her into his room, and how he pinned him down on the bed and lied that no dog, no dog, it was just a dream I truly cannot relate to the fear of dogs, although I fully understand this fear exist and is valid. When I see a bunch of dogs running towards me, I’d be screaming… in delight! Well, okay, maybe except for the dobermann haha… So much for wanting to wait till all episodes aired, LOL! Please... no more cancellation/postponing please...
  20. It's the bell-bangs again... well, at least the fringe is pretty long, and hair wavy all the way. Can't wait for tomorrow!! Interesting premise.
  21. I've been quite busy (or rather, disoriented) lately that this drama flew under my radar... I love all the 3 male leads, but honestly, haven't been in the mood for heavy dramas since a while... But KYK looking great as the bad guy (?) here. I might check this one out.
  22. My bad.... I didn't see that she was smuggled in by her sister in the middle of the night in the form of the dog. So I guess we will see her breaking the curse soon enough. What's left then? Haha... maybe then they actually will kiss again, and she then turned into a dog again? What was the rule about kissing the same person twice? Gosh, it's been so long I had kinda forgotten. Maybe I need to just wait till all episodes is aired.
  23. Me too!! and his character here is quite interesting, unlike the one in Mine, so I'm still hoping for more screen time for him even though he might not be the ML. I have a bias towards him ever since his role in Children of Nobody. I want him to shine more. Yes, I really like that last part. I appreciate that Yoon Ran Joo since long time ago is a decent person (no high-and-mighty diva personality) although she seemed misunderstood by other people....?
