  1. I am currently watching ep.7. Had to stop and come here to comment. NHD won the gold medal, but the speed was in dispute. I really hate how people are questioning her instead of the referee... Geez... They're both representing Korea but everyone is just too star-struck by GYR that they even thought that NHD had some liaison with the referee. Why can't they just be happy that Korea won the gold and silver medal?!! And that national team coach guy is really useless... He should be in neutral position and help to prepare the athletes for the press conference. I understand that NHS shouldn't say what she said, but no one coached her on how to handle the press, and what she said was also true and I am 100% what she is feeling and thus why she would say that. Some people need to be put in place, even those reporters and the general public. Urgh...! And sorry, but this is the first time I really-really hated GYR for being such a pity petty person. You win some and you lose some. That's the way it is in sports. It's not that she has never been beaten by NHD before, not just once, but a few times already. So why is she insisting that she is faster than NHD. I can understand if she has never been lost to NHD and suddenly NHD won, but no, NHD had proven that she could be better than her, so they're on par. I really hated GYR for making such a big deal out of this match, just because she couldn't defend her gold medalist position. Urgh! She has a self-pity victim mentality. Okay, end of rant. Back to episode.
  2. @JenL call me crazy, but I suddenly think that NJH actually might work as Li Zi Wei / Wang Quan Sheng... what do you think?
  3. I didn't know he will be in this one...!! Thanks for tagging me @mademoiselle Wasn't really planning on watching this because I'm so busy these days, but I've heard good stuff about how fun the drama is. And with this added reason, I might have to check it out this weekend. Yeah, sadly I really-really must-must exercise self-control and watch only come this weekend. As it is, I'm already putting Forecasting and Grid on hold first.
  4. She is one of the main cast still, so either she came back from death, or has a twin Notice I wrote the more absurd one first.
  5. I really love when the flood of spotlight came on! From preview, it seems that she will not win the gold medal though... I'm fine with that, coz it's her first time competing in such a big event, and earlier she gave YR all the tips on how to take her on I guess I also do not need to worry that she will be feeling down because of it, knowing how positive-minded she is, haha...
  6. For me, out of the three, she is the most easy to watch transitioning into the character. Except for the hairstyle... Next is the 30s husband. 40s husband takes quite a while to get used to because the way he speaks/carries himself is quite different, I think. Yeah, it's harder to get into Sa Pi Young's arc because we have to adapt to 2 new faces.
  7. Urgh!!! I watched raw 15 minutes in, and I'm fuming with anger... Sara is really such awful horrible person. Even seeing how upset Jenny and Se Chan were, she still continues with her lies. Granted they didn't show her with a smug face, but I still cannot stand it. And then it's unbelievable how stupid YG and DD are. Or maybe they're too saintly to consider that this could be a scam. For a CEO of a big group like FT, YG is really not smart at all. He couldn't think of questioning the pregnancy? It's only one woman's word against the whole world. He could've at least negotiated things with Sara, like a DNA test. And then DD. The moment she heard of the confirmation of Sara's pregnancy, the first thing she did was to break up, again.... I stopped watching for now. So tiring.... Will wait till more episodes so I can skip-watching again.
  8. I tried to watch @UnniSara but it’s so hard to get into the story with so many different faces... and somehow I feel that a lot of them have aged so much?? I mean their faces don’t look as good/smooth as the last 2 seasons. I wonder if it’s the camera or the filter being used. The production quality I think is so much lower than before...
  9. A great foundation to build a relationship/marriage is when you bring out the best in each other, when the other person makes you desire or strive to be a better person, and when the other person makes you a better person. Our OTP here have just these ❤️ Lovely.
  10. Not just this scene... Earlier in the episode, the camera works and editing was awesome too ~ when Hee Do was competing, interspersing with Yi Jin running to Yi Hyun's school. I just love this episode so much even though they were technically separated! It's like they're not separated at all because we see how both have the other one in mind. And they're not even "official" yet... Their bond together is just written and developed so well. I really like how we're shown their mirroring actions of calling the voicemail and kept replaying, then later Yi Jin turning on the faucet and looking up at the falling snow, cut to Hee Do looking up and then turning on the faucet, then that running together scene. Like you said, it's crazily beautiful!! I love this episode!!
  11. 🙄 when you love your actor/actress, you will want them to grow their acting repertoire. Don’t mold them into only a certain character to your own liking. The very art of their job is to act. I always have more respect when an actor/actress dare to take on controversial character or to uglify themselves for a character.
  12. You keep posing these difficult questions... It reminds me of a game the little ones around me like to play ~ "would you rather...?" For this question, my answer (if I really-really have to only choose one) is (b)... because I wouldn't want him back if he were sleeping around, risk of disease or not. Ideally is: begone you unfaithful womaniser!
  13. Well, it's a very fine line, and it's also not black and white but grey... Even Mi Jo thought they were cheating. I can probably write an essay on it but I shall restrain myself, lol... Personally, I draw the line at physical intimacy. I think most people missed out on the point that CY kept emphasising, that they never slept together ever since he's gotten married. As for emotional cheating, that really could happen with anyone, not just the opposite gender. If a husband is not emotionally attached to his wife, and more attached to his pet dog, does it mean he cheated on the wife with the dog? Excuse my rather extreme comparison, lol... Okay, let's say the husband is more emotionally attached to another male buddy, can share more openly with him, spend more time with him, care more about him... does that mean he was cheating with the buddy? In the drama here, CY and JS been friends, been lovers before. They used to be close and they are now in the same industry. They are bound to meet and spend time, be it for work or for leisure. I personally think the wife was too much to ask CY keep a distance from JS when they need to work together. It's her own fault she couldn't get the attention of her husband, why does she need to find CY? She needs to work it out with her husband... Or, for me, it's like keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer. She should just get close to CY. But of course, now we know she is not a person to be sympathised with anyway. So well, in my opinion, CY and JS did not cheat. We see that JS tried to respect his wife even though he doesn't love her. CY also knew that, and she tried to get him to get a divorce. That seems wrong, but she knew he doesn't love the wife, and they want to be together properly, not secretly. You know, mid of last year, I was losing weight quite a bit, that I started monitoring my weight daily whether it will keep going down or not. Yes I did do more exercises, but it's like I've never been so low since a long time already, like before I gave birth? And this was before the vaccination and stuff. So I went to have a general physical examination, also to prepare for vaccination since I have had some medical issues before. Anyway, I'm fine. Just losing weight healthily... Gained a bit back now.

  16. @Chocolate thanks for the insights on cancers. The writer did well in choosing what kind of cancer for the character CY then. I only knew about the lung cancer that my friend's mother had. We just started seeing her getting thinner and thinner, but still very cheerful, active and go through the days normally. No symptoms. I even thought she was on a diet! When they found out it was lung cancer, it took only around 6 months later before she passed. She chose non-treatment and later on the coughing became very unbearable. I didn't guess about the son. I thought she was having an affair, or a lover herself, but acting all righteous. As for her purposely getting pregnant, that's a given for me. She probably made him drunk or whatever to sleep with him. Can't remember whether this was mentioned or not, about how they got sleeping together...
  17. I think the story will all be in the past, only snippets of the present time will be shown. At least I hope so. I signed up to watch KTR and NJH, not to watch their older present version 😆 Well, I have prepared my heart now for whatever to be come. Just enjoy the journey. Btw, have you guys noticed that in present time scenes, they took care to show the people are wearing masks. I wonder why, when all the other dramas don’t bother with this detail of RL condition. It’s always as if the pandemic is non-existent in kdramaland.
  18. I have a different view on this... It was changed after I witnessed how a close friend’s mother (lung cancer) prepared for her own impending death and funeral. I since then thought it is so much better to be able to say goodbyes properly and take care of whatever stuff before you bid goodbye to everyone. Don’t get this as well. Isn’t being able to run your own business much better than being a salary person? 🤔😅 @bai seems like the father of SW and sister not a warm father. Maybe after their mother passed away, she just doesn’t feel belonging to the family anymore....
  19. @bai Those were just the very scenes that made me cry. The support from family and friends... Same as you, I'm also sold after ep.4. The acting is solid all around. Although there are still predictable scenes and some cliches lines, but the cast made it all up with their great interpretation for the emotions involved. There is a definite turnaround about how I feel regarding JS and CY's relationship after knowing how he was deceived and trapped into the marriage by his wife. It's really sad and kudos to him trying to stay in it as much as possible. I guess my question is the same as CY ~ why now? why not earlier?... Could it be because of MJ's outburst a couple days ago? or because the wife went too far in making things difficult for CY and MJ? The part when he broke down in tears after finding out about CY's condition really wrenched my heart. Wife is so evil! Anyway... I do hope this couple can have a little bit of happiness before CY passes. But can that funeral scene really be just an acting gig of CY? I don't really understand the type of cancer that she has... why is she not showing any symptoms at all even at Stage 4? MJ has the most supportive family in the world... I don't get why she told SW that she feels she has no family, that CY and JH are her family instead. The other part where I cried quite a bit was when all of them quickly went to hug and comfort MJ, knowing how important CY is for her. Also when JH shredded her luck-bringing lottery so as to pass it to CY instead... I was like "WHATTT?!!" but then I also went "wow...!!", then I started tearing up. It was a great episode.
  20. Prepare your tissues for ep.4. There’ll be a lot of crying as different parties finding out about CY’s condition. And this is not including her parents yet.
  21. Thoughts on ep.3 - That wife is really rather dramatic, calling police and stuff. Although she does have the right to, I just thought it's a bit too much for a slap. I know she is the wife, but I don't think she can dictate how old friends addressing each other. It's not something that one can just change or forget so easily. At least CY has a clear conscience that she and Jin Seok didn't do anything wrong. Matters of the heart is really difficult to measure. With the absence of physical intimacy, did they or did they not have an affair? Given their history, I think it's better for the wife to take a different approach instead of direct confrontation like that. Anyway...... it seems that she has some skeletons in her closet too. I have no sympathy for her, tbh. Not that I'm agreeing/supporting CY and Jin Seok's way of going about their relationship. - I really like the way SW is getting close to MJ. She actually spilled out what's been bothering her to him. That's quite a surprise that she trusts him so much. - Loving the scenes between MJ and CY, especially at the end. These two actresses are just so good with the emotional scenes.
