    Ep.14 Ep.15 (Spoilers, spoilers... Don't open until you have watched the finale. Open at own risk!) The drama wrapped up well. Although I do have one question that is not answered, I'm perfectly fine not knowing, because the drama is just that good.

    I am watching ep.17 now... O gosh, Mark might be a hindrance to our OTP getting back together. He didn't mean to, I'm sure. His character is not some kind of antagonist... at least so far. Just that some of his advice to TJ are so practical (and valid) that they surely will make TJ build up walls I personally feel that NYS's father is not evil too. I think what happened in the past could truly be just some kind of misunderstanding (regarding TJ's father's death). Yes, he did ask TJ to leave NYS because he wanted his son to study business instead of going into medicine. He felt and believed TJ is a bad influence for NYS because she disrupted his plan for NYS. He's just that typical patriarchal figure very common in Chinese culture. Something I dislike seeing is that he adores PP so much, but he couldn't think for a moment that the little boy is so lovable and mature is all due to upbringing by TJ. Give her the credit due, old man!

    Ep.11 was rather uneventful and probably frustrating for me, like what are they doing with the story? I am starting to have difficulty and impatience following. But the ending/cliffhanger made it interesting again for me to look forward to the next episode. I really think this story could be better with shorter duration, like 12 episodes. Right now, it seems to be made more complicated than it needs to be. Urgh! How more foolish can Mido be... I cannot believe that she would just go spill every little secret to her oppa 🙄 Seriously, I don’t think I can pity her when she finds out the truth about her oppa. Joy did well in portraying this character. At times you want to be on her side, at times you want to just ditch her. The police leader/chief is really a pain to watch. I always wonder how such unwise person can rise to a leadership position... publishing a wanted notice with clear photographs when there isn’t a solid evidence yet?? Isn’t she shooting herself in the foot? How stupid....

    The opening was really sad as we peeked into JW’s childhood. I cannot blame him for not feeling anything upon hearing his mother dying. I have not an ounce of sympathy for the mother too. No matter how hard life is, it is not that difficult to show a little affection to a little kid. Even a forced slight smile will appease their heart. Or a gentle caress on the face/head. I cannot help but compare her with the FL in C-drama Because of Love. The ending was really sad as well, but at the same time good because we see great improvement on YS’s part for seeking out Woong when she is feeling down and helpless. I totally disagree with what the critic said about Woong’s art, although I should put forward a disclaimer that I am no expert in the field. What that critic said is nonsense. For me every artist is unique, and their works reflect that. There’s nothing wrong with maintaining the same style and direction. It caters to different people. That’s why some like this artist, some prefer that artist. I really hope Woong is not too affected by it.

    Similar sentiments here. Didn't really enjoy the last 2 episodes as much as the earlier episodes. I like the way TI accidentally got to know YJ's real identity, but dislike the way he handles it. Sure he felt betrayed, but I dislike this kind of trope where the feeling of betrayal was like super huge that no more feeling of love and care is left?... It felt so old, I cannot remember when was the last time I watched a drama with this trope. The saesang fan part was fine for me, because it has been hinted a couple of times in previous episodes. I actually like how that bring back the OTP together. But then, I dislike the part where YJ decided to go to the US instead of staying back and developing their relationship. With such strong feelings, I find it odd too that TI let her go with his blessings. The story about Shin and his gf... All the while, I kept switching between supporting them and not supporting them. What they have is so sweet but then given their situation and status, I felt that it's not going to ever work out between them. I want to support them, but then I also think they will be better off not being together... It was hard watching them, tbh. I feel so bad for them. Don't know how to feel about the open ending of their relationship too.

    Urgh, when is Sara going to grow up? She got mad because DD is showing so much love to Se Jong and piggyback him?? DD is spoiling the kid?? *rolleyes* At the end of the day, what DR really cares about is the shares that SR has. Not anything else. Urgh, what kind of a mother this is. This episode, I really pity SR. I commend her brave decision to let go of her shares and feel the freedom she never had. Really like the step-siblings scene of YG and SR. Cannot believe that the children are more mature than the old witch. I wish for SR to find true happiness with DB. Am glad to not see DD crying for these two episodes, but seems like we're going to see crying DD again

    Could it be because of his illness that he chose to not be with her? He coughed out blood! Not just him, Tan Jing too This is the scene that wrenched my heart so, so much! Later on there will be another scene, when the young TJ was prying open young NYS's hands to free herself from his hug. Ep.13 and 14 are really good. Okay, that kiss in the bathroom, was great, but the BGM killed all the mood for me

    Yes, I think so too. He wanted to recruit the male duty manager at first, thinking he was the person who wrote the bilingual letter. So we know that he appreciates the talent. But I can totally see how the gossips go flying around among the colleagues 🙄 Can’t believe there isn’t a single normal person there. Well, maybe that one who went out for lunch with her. The rest are so fake 🙄 The part I stopped in ep.8 was when she was returning the watch to him. I feel that what he replied to her was so piercing painful 😢 I couldn’t continue. @Mouse the little kid is indeed his. He’s 6 yo and they’ve been separated since 7 years ago, so the time frame fits. The husband I believe is just on paper. The impression I got so far was that TJ is just grateful to him for being there when she was pregnant and play the father figure to her son. Husband knows about NYS and how TJ is not over him yet.

    I had guessed that as well. And it is confirmed in ep.7 that they're the same person. Yes! Haha... I binged watched till middle of ep.8, and then it started to get too angsty in the middle with all the mis(sed)understanding that I had to take a break for now. It felt like my heart is being squeezed so hard I realised one of the things that will draw me in with C-dramas is that when it is original voices of the cast. Here we have them using their original voices, whereas it's usually difficult for me to get into the drama when they're dubbed.

    LOLOLOL...I am surprised you can even squeeze this in . I wasn't planning to add any more dramas but as usual my itchy hands got the better of me. Cannot deny that I tend to like watching Wallace Chung 😆 I don’t know yet if I will keep on watching or not. But one thing good about C-drama is I don’t have to be paying too much attention to the screen for subtitles. Wallace Chung has that charisma that you just want to keep looking at him. Not to mention his raspy magnetic voice. And I kinda like the angsty feel so far. But no, I really haven’t decided that I will continue watching. Yesterday I also tried the first episode of One and Only @SilverMoonTea 😂 I might want to watch the modern version, coz it seems to me they’re going to shoot a lot in Xi An... will see how. Not in a hurry but I think I want to watch. Your oppa RJL quite okay on screen. Don’t really like him in stills but I kinda like his nerdy quiet character there.

    I’ve been wondering about this since the first time he appeared 😆 At times I feel that he could be trusted, but then I feel like he could be the mastermind behind all these murders. I am more inclined towards him being the bad guy though, because no point in having 2 good psychologists in the drama? 😅

    I am up to speed now with this. It’s great acting and pacing. But tbh, I am a bit confused about where the story is going... so it’s more like about RSY’s past? What’s the deal with the drug ring leader... who is the big boss they’re fighting against?

    Yes, I am still watching. I kinda knew Min Gi’s mother will come back because she was out too early and the actress/character is listed as main role in MDL. Yes to this! I really cannot stand those snobbish people.

    Ep.11-13 is out, and I have finished them. This drama is really good. Not just the suspense but it also touches a lot on the human part, which we all agree and appreciate. I'm not going to say much so as not to spoil it. I was mostly on the edge of my seat while watching. There's a way to quickly watch for those impatient for subs... You can watch it with image translator (phone app) in one hand. Google Translate should be able to immediately translate the Chinese subtitles on the screen
