Indeed @mademoiselle ...the logic of this universe is flawed but I am all for the happy ending hahahahaahah... And my goodness I was getting SLS with Joseon TH. He was so sweet too.... This scene really broke my heart

Eps 11 was really good. I had my issues with this show somewhere in the middle, but I felt that episode 11 brought some decent closures to some arcs and I shed some tears. Grandpa got off lightly but then again with his age I don't know if there's any more suitable punishment. I am glad that we saw some development for both CEO Min and Tae Min. Super adorable too was the romance between Secretary Hong and Sa Wol. I am glad she stayed on. For me the greatest selling point of this show is the romance between the leads and the PD definitely knew that. All their romantic scenes felt so genuinely sweet that it was quite painful that he had to let her go... Joseon Tae Ha is as adorable as Modern Day Tae Ha ...if we had more scenes from the past, I am sure I would be super conflicted about whether she should return to the present day. But all things considered, I felt that Yeon Woo has to return to the present not only for TaeHa, but also for herself. The freedom she has here as a woman recognised for her skills, talents etc would not be something she could have in the past. She would be so suffocated especially when she has already seen what women could be in the present.

Between this and Gyeoseong Creature which is a better binge? I wanted to watch GC solely for WHJ but he has so little screen time.

Yes they did. I was hoping they'd win it but MBC only gives one best CP. I love My Dearest but this pair had better natural chemistry.

They had a very sweet bedscene ☺️. Will we get to see the filmmaking ? Am I understanding this correctly? It looks like she managed to change things for Joseon Tae ha …but I believe she still misses modern day Tae Ha ?

Ahahahah Happy New Year! Okay I wish they do this for every drama. But I did find one last year for one of the c-dramas I was watching. The person who edited it made it like a nice movie - save from all the torturous bits at the end.

The last two episodes were really good. I shed some tears especially in episode 9. We finally see everyone's point of view, and got to see why Young Pil's dad held so much resentment against her mother. That resentment has brought much pain to both families and to our leads, and much of that was unnecessary. I am not making light of his pain & grief, but he is being unfair to all concern. But I am glad that there's some sort of progress in a sense that the leads are realising that there's still plenty of feelings left. I think it was a good thing dad kicked Young Pil out - Young Pil has held on long enough and has been just concerned with everyone else's feelings at the expense of his own.

But the sad love story is between the Korean FL and the Japanese ML....So I think HJH should the 2nd ML here in terms of love interest ? "Hong Jong Hyun is in talks to play the role of Min Joon, Hong’s fiancé who has loved her for at least 15 years." It is going to be one angsty melo ...she'll probably be pining for her Japanese lover or something will being engaged to HJH.

Looks sad. How would she change the present by going to the past?

When I saw you post here in the cdrama section, I had a feeling it must be for CZY @mademoiselle ...ahahahah I was right. My mum likes this actor too , so for her sake I hope it will come to Netflix later on.

Gosh....I do know you watched a record number this year but 51..... That is almost one drama a week. Do you know the breakdown between k and c dramas? I already find it hard to juggle kdramas and cdramas.. I don't even know how to squeeze any other language in

It didn't occur to me till you mentioned it, and yes I do see some similarities. I am watching the recent episodes though I confessed I have seen the second half of eps 10 first because I wanted to know so bad what the aftermath of the kiss was. I knew it won't be such an easy road for them to get together. @mademoiselle I see you are able to post videos now. Did you encounter any issues like earlier?

An actor I wish to see - Kim Jae Young - can’t wait to see him in his first lead role after so long. Lee Joon Hyuk - can’t believe he’ll be doing a romance ! Kang Tae Oh - he’ll be discharged in March. Excited to see what projects he’ll take on. Number of dramas - I’ll need to count this . Quite a fair bit but nothing like @mademoiselle’s level 😀

Hahahah I am not watching live. Just some news from Naver and also videos posted on twitter. I laughed when Lee SeYoung said what she did Poor King Injo. He won best character .He was so funny. Said he knew as Injo he'd be criticized but not this extent LOLOLO Wahhhh....hard core! My favourite OST sang live Rookie awards for Ryang Eum and Crown Prince Rookie Awards for Jong-Jong

At the MBC Red Carpet Our CP and Princess

This was the most memorable scene for me. It's from the ending of ep 4 of My Dearest. Nam Goong Min & Ahn EunJin's characters had met just briefly before the war. While he had liked her almost instantly, she didn't have a very good impression of him as he had this reputation of being a "womanizer" & a "misogynist". However he was a very resourceful man, and they had interacted on several occasions before the war since she needed his help. Anyway, during the war, the entire village was on the run and in this scene, AEJ and her female companions were being attacked by what the show called as barbarians. Of course he came to save her and just as he was about to be attacked himself , she subconsciously called him "my dear " ( In Korean it was "so-bang-nim"). After he fended off the attacker, he bent over and asked her if she had just called him that. This man is a legend - in a middle of a life and death situation , he was just happy she called him that. It created so much buzz for this show and became the catalyst for ratings to start rising.
