  4. Soompi article explaining bits of the BTS Watch: Jung So Min Adorably Struggles With “Monthly Magazine Home” Piggyback Scene + Kim Ji Suk Makes Ratings Wish TV/FILM Jul 19, 2021 by S. Cho JTBC has shared a new behind-the-scenes clip for “Monthly Magazine Home”! In the newly released video, Kim Ji Suk and Jung So Min are filming an emotional confession scene when the director yells “Cut!” Kim Ji Suk then hilariously explodes into cheers out of excitement about going home. While filming at Naksan Temple, Kim Ji Suk hangs up his wish for “Monthly Magazine Home” to surpass 15 percent in viewership ratings. He calls Jung So Min over and tells her as a prank, “Did you see this wish that someone put up? It’s no joke. They said it was already here.” Next, the two film their piggyback scene, struggling to figure out how Jung So Min can jump on Kim Ji Suk’s back in one try. vid in spoiler
  5. Have not seen a Kim So Eun drama in ages. Next BTS is the kiss BTS :D
  6. baahahahahaha...I thought of you when I saw the part! I was like Choco will be happy he didn't kiss back and was disgusted. Yes, Sun A is the ultimate villain in this drama manipulating behind the scenes and taking advantage of the greed and selfish ambition of the rest who support the foundation. Eps 6 was another solid fast moving episode. For me now, the main draw of this show is the showdown between YoHan and SunA's gang. One of my favorite lines from Minister Cha was that in the court of public opinion, evidence is not as important storytelling. It is true - that's why in politics, the spin is so important. But I think Cha really underestimated YoHan . In that ending reveal , he not only cleared himself of his alleged bribery but he is now involving the public to help him with finding evidence. While I will give him the benefit of the doubt that genuinely helped the witness , there's no denying that he was clever in how he presented it to the viewers securing their support and trust.
  7. Yes indeed . Me likes all these sad ballads ...but she has some upbeat ones. Like this from one Marriage Not Dating. Really love this show ...where I fell for Yeon Woo Jin Also love this from Because This is My First Life
  8. I am just as confused...is it because he was trying to pave the way for Coach Yoon to be the central figure where it comes to looking for guidance etc? I felt quite bad for our Captain Bang. Long before Coach Yoon and Hae Kang, Bang was already on the team training under Bae. And I remember that Bang was Coach Bae's favorite. So it looks like Coach Bae will become TS's personal coach and help him make it into the national team. But how old is TS supposed to be? Won't he be too old since he hasn't played competitively for so long. The more I think about it the more I think Han Sol must be angry that Se Yoon had a great future before her and she's not going for the open opportunity because she's worried about her team. Han Sol had always knew Se Yoon is good so it would be out of character she had an issue now and I think the hurtful things she said to Se Yoon was more like what Hae Kang usually does, say the opposite things of what he means because she wanted Se Yoon to focus and not worry. We'll know next week, hopefully :) Oh ...this is possible. Like @LaLa I was baffled by why Han Sol was behaving rather out of character. Maybe she is upset that SY is "sacrificing" to stay back when she could have more competitive training in Seoul. One thing that made me laugh was when Yong Tae was so upset that Bang and Han Sol are dating. ahahaha he is still a little boy at heart ...Yong Tae - ah , you will like girls soon too !
  9. Yay ...so happy you are watching this. JSM is a lovely actress and apart from this show I also love Because This Is My First Life ( 100% recommended too)
  10. This series of gifs is her laughing at him being a natural clown .
  11. Awwwww ....I really like them too. She even became a cop to protect him. Aiyo , we definitely need some progress. But I am a bit worried that something bad will happen to her. Especially after eps 5 when Ga On told her not to be such a good cop and for once just overlook things and not investigate it herself.
  12. Cause my mum is watching Another Oh Hae Young on TV in the living room, this iconic theme song keeps playing in my mind... Love the live version. This singer has such a lovely voice
  13. Omg @mademoiselle I did not expect him to expose them all tonight. I am going through some spoilers as well. Oh my....what is happening to the OTP? I suppose this must be in the earlier part of the eps.
  14. Hi @Ayame . Great to see you here. Thanks for the vid. So happy that IQIYI has subbed. May have some restrictions for those not in Asia but here are more The bed scene one This is from eps 1 This is a nice one - SM talks about how the team is very close and they have a group chat to make sure every one stays in touch. JS talks about reuniting with her and they could immediately work well since they already knew each other Kimchi terror scene Drunken Young Won The one with the ex BF
  15. This scene is so cute ....poor Song Hwa. Even if she sounds so bad, they should let her sing once in awhile. Not that they are performing for anyone right. It was so cute to see Father Peter's cameo, I laughed when they had to address why he looks so old for his age. IRL - the actor is about 12 years younger than Kim Hae Sook who plays Rosa. I can understand Jong Su's envy - Rosa's children are wonderful and this is a testament to how she raised them. I love how she tells Jong Su the story of them always being chatty with her since they were kids. Communication is just as important between parent & child , the way it is between husband & wife. Lucky for Gyeol that Rosa is Jeong Wan's mother ! Imagine if she had to deal with SH's mum instead. I was surprised that Ik Jun didn't notify the Head Nurse / Gyeol about his suspicion with regards to the abusive husband. Especially when the two of them are the ones actively monitoring the patient. Anyway, I should think it was meant to tie in with Gyeol's family background. Like everyone here, I get the feeling too that Gyeol's father could be abusive. Finally, I am still quite upset about what has been happening to Bidulgi. Poor Jun Wan. The worse part is that he is suffering in silence FOR ONE WHOLE YEAR! He cannot even tell anyone. And I understand that Ik Jun can't even talk to him about it given that he has to respect his sister's wishes. I am still a little taken aback they are going full on with using this beloved noble idiocy trope.
  16. This is exactly how I feel. It was a nice contrast to some of the communication break down with regards to SH and his ex wife , and also with the one sided shut off that Ik Sun has put on JW. I am actually mid way through but just wanted to say that I love the SH-SH talk the most so far. What Song Hwa told SHyeong to his face was so good. Whether it was his mother's constant meddling or his wife's progressive retraction into her shell as the marriage started to fall apart, ( I suspect she stole her MIL's ring out of anger), I feel SHyeong was a major contributor to the failure of his marriage. He ran away instead of dealing with his problems. So finally at 40 years of age, he is learning that communication is key. It is not too late of course , and this is one of the primary reasons why I think that Min A is good for SHyeong - she never shies away from voicing her thoughts & asking questions. Her naturally gregarious nature can help draw out our very introverted SHyeong. Nothing wrong being introverted of course, but it is completely necessary for partners to be open with each other for a relationship to thrive. It was sweet to see SHyeong applying SHwa's advice immediately. And it was not surprising that it was Min A that he starts opening up to. My observation is that he has a soft spot for her despite him closing up himself and not wanting to entertain any thoughts of being in a relationship. If anyone who can handle his overbearing mother , it will definitely be Min Ha!
  17. Just got off Eps 5. I really likes today's case . You know I kept asking myself what I would have done if I were one of the judges - castrate or not? If I were to think from the victim's perspective, it is definitely a yes from me. I could even argue that it would set an example for other rapists. However , if I were to look at the big picture, I don't know if such draconian forms of punishment will ultimately reduce such crime. I read in an article from the UN that it is "the certainty to punishment rather than the severity of it " that acts as a deterrent . So you can see the conflict in arriving at the decision. Definitely very smart of Sun A to push Yo Han into a corner like this. What is very interesting is this - clearly all the movers & shakers backed this live trial programme did it thinking they could use Yo Han and create political spins in their favour. But of course, as they discovered in the previous case involving the minister's son, Yo Han is not someone they could easily control. What angered YoHan more was that this case and the prosecutor's requests were Sun A and Minister Cha's way of putting him in his place. But of course he outwitted them all with his judgement. ( For a while I was wondering why Elijah were talking to prison folks in Texas . LOL! ) Also, it was nice to see some of Ga On's back story. He was somewhat a troubled teenager and Min Jung Ho was like his father apart from being his mentor. Staying with YoHan has somewhat deterred Ga On from his original "mission" which was to be Min Jung Ho's eyes and ears. So who would he come to support what Yo Han does? Whatever it is , Ga On's overstay has had a positive effect on this "family's " strained relationships ever since the fire. (pssttt....when I was watching the 1st few minutes of JiSung's fan service abs scene, I kept thinking how lucky LBY is to come home to this ! )
  18. ahahaha I am going to watch now.... I like her here in My Fellow Citizens as the villain. She was good.
  19. @Dhakra Show has done 10 episodes and has 6 more to go. I am actually behind. I am only done with the 1st 5 , so I am commenting about stuff that everyone has probably watched. But it's fine since the thread is rather quiet and everyone is watching at a different pace.
  20. @Dhakra Well do take care - world weather is changing due to global warming. Voice 4 - so essentially the male lead in V1 did not reprise his role for the seasons going forward. S2&3 had a different ML - the arc and direction of those seasons for me didn't feel the same as the 1st season. However S4 feels a lot more like S1 and there's a new detective in town . I would say I like his role here because he's an excellent cop, and I think there's no loss in not watching S2&S3. What I particularly like about V4 is that the cases are very moving and you cheer on the team when they solve the cases. The adrenaline rush remains the same. This actress is still around
  21. Hmmm not sure what to think of them. I don't know if they are both aware that they like each other romantically. But I know there were some developments so to speak in today's episode.
  22. The Swoon put this up. I love the fluff! ahahah I like what you posted here @Tammy_fullofdrama
