  1. Glad that the love triangle thing wasn't expanded on too much on ep 9 and 10. However, Jung Hyun now lied more and more to his family. I'm hoping that by the end of next week, who he truly is can be revealed already. The trailer for next ep looks like it's showing the beginning of ep1 where Yeon Soo confronted Jung Hyun and asked him "Who are you?". I think it's just about time that everything comes out into the open. Ep 9 and 10 also showed us how Yeon Soo, to certain extent, doesn't really know much about JH's past. Did she never wonder about his friends?? I mean sure about his family since he told her that he grew in the orphanage. But friends? He must have had friends though... back in the orphanage, when he's at school, when he's at uni, at work before he got married etc... At times I feel that she's way too busy with her work that she's not aware of the situation in her family. Well..which if the situation is reversed (JH were the one working and not aware of what's going on in the family), we would probably perceive that as 'normal'. At this stage (with only knowing what things have been shown to us), I kinda agree with the ex-leader of JH's NIS team. A lot of things happened because he chose to love YS. From what I gathered in these two eps, it did seem that JH was unwilling to catch KTY because what it might do to his relationship to YS. Now viewers might 'forgive' him because YS was the 'good' guy and the NIS so far has proven to be quite corrupt, but think about it if NIS were actually doing something good for the country and YS were the bad guy... him choosing love over duty would be really unacceptable. So honestly, that was something I didn't really agree with JH. Things surely would be different if he chose to cleanly finish his duty and cut off his relationship with NIS and only then gave the relationship with YS a shot ... all these painful lies would not need to happen. And it's so cruel in a way that he had to lie about his father being an abusive father... We past half-way already, folks! 6 more eps to go~
  2. @ktcjdrama bye bye ktcjdrama hahahahahahah.... I hope this drama will stay interesting for me until the end. Come back whenever you decide to change ur mind
  3. @Chocolate ok ok hahahahaha... Were you trying to get @SilverMoonTea to watch Mine as well? Gahahahahahaha...
  4. @Chocolate ok how about this..i give this a go for the first 2 eps and you give Undercover a go too? Good bargain? but honestly dont know when i can fit this to my schedule... I ll be watching badminton final today...and then i'm kinda in the middle of watching US TV show FBI...hahahahahah
  5. @abs-oluteM wow..so even in this type of drama we're still getting the love triangle stuff when first we were introduced to Yoon Ju i thought triangle might happen...but later on i thought not anymore coz it seemed it's resolved now somehow. But apparently not ?!?!
  6. Contain SPOILER throughout So the CIO team hit the ground running as on their first day working they already got a 'tip' that Kim Myung Jae I felt frustrated watching these eps as the CIO got played into the evil man's plan. And the ending of Kim Myung Jae's case was... Lol..hasnt Yeon Soo met Do Young Gol before when he asked her about his 'divorce' case? Did she not remember him? One good thing was that the ex prosecutor Choo now decided he wants to side with CIO instead of the chief prosecutor. Overall..these 2 eps were so-so for me..
  7. Watched ep 20 and after seeing the ending, I actually didn't think feel this drama was as bad as what I felt previously. I still stand by my opinion that I think this drama was too complicated and I somehow feel that they could make it simpler and it could be just as good? Shrugs. However, I must say I like the ending! I feel that BR got his deserved ending. In my previous comment I said that I would not like it if BR just killed himself as that was a too-easy-way-out for a psychopath like him. This drama ended BR's life satisfactory: he died in a loooooottt of pain both physically and emotionally (thanks to YH's brain!). He died alone, miserable and no one was even there to collect his ashes or something. At the same time, it's also good that he found peace within himself and realised that he didn't die a monster. @Chocolate surprisingly this one episode was able to turn my opinions of the FLs. At the end of the drama, I actually liked them (again) I'm glad that Bong Yi didn't go all mushy when she went to see BR (I was so afraid she would 'forgive' him because she's still in love with him...that would be meehhhh). Hong Ju also owned up to her mistake and I was actually hoping to see her and our ex-detective MooChi get together again. Happy that we got to see how they're 3 years later and saw a happy ending for all our 'good/ok' main characters. MooChi now became an egg-seller~~ And that they're all there to support each other (as shown how MooChi now supporting Bong Yi ... and Bong Yi actually had built a relationship with Eun Chong and Yo Han's sister Jae Hee... and that at the end it seems they would have dinner together with Hong Ju and her parents?) Although I'm happy with BR's ending, it didn't stop me from pitying him either. Got teary eyes watching BR here and there Great acting by LSG and LHJ! Not sure what kind of different ending will be shown during the special tonight ... but see whether I'll like it more than the original one.
  8. @Chocolate true...as you said that JH did feel the conflict when he was young as he wished he could be somehow turned into someone good..and therefore showed that he had some degree of moral compass. And i'm also not sure irl whether this could be a case of a psychopath. But again this drama also showed that no matter how much 'moral' or 'emotions' you injected into a psychopath (through brain transplant ehem..)... Psychopath could still be triggered to kill nonetheless. For now (but my opinion can still change after ep 20)...i feel this drama could be much better if only it didnt try to complicate things too much..
  9. Yes @Chocolate your baby-swap prediction was correct I wonder if BR wasnt triggered in any way..would he end up killing ppl? If not then...should the people who triggered this be blamed? @Chocolate in the end i dont quite like the 2 FL characters in this drama...Hong Ju or Bong Yi. I just wish that the good guys were able to realise the truth sooner ... Say in ep 18 or 19..and we could be given the satisfaction watching them trying to catch the 'right' perpetrators.
  10. @Tofu so ep 11 and 12 were written by the new writer already? I just want to point out that I really like how they varied the places they got to choose yes or no for revenge...mostly done through the old video game thingy but also karaoke And how they matched the cartoons to the evil person they're going to dish out the revenge on gahahahhahaha After having watched Ha Na in the first 11 episodes.... I actually grew to dislike her. Ep 12 showed a change in her character but I'm not sure whether the rest of the drama will be able to change my perception of her. And so i'm not sure whether i want the 2nd half of the show to 'be led by Kang Ha Na' as @abs-oluteM quoted from twitter post. If the drama insists on upholding the law...then i think at the end of all of these...all the Rainbow Taxi members should be jailed or punished accordingly (i hope not though...)
  11. @mademoiselle let me know if it turns out like hot stove league then i'll def check it out. Although at this point of time i doubt it will be anything like that hahahahahahahahhah I just realised i actually commented on the thread...i thought i was doing it on the K Ent Grapevine? Glad you opened the thread Madem!
  12. @mademoiselle tofu mentioned it to me the other day about the Racket Boys.. I ll check out the videos.. Are you going to watch this? Not sure how i feel about watching badminton drama doesnt sound too appealing since it's not a team sport (apart from it having double categories )
  13. @abs-oluteM yes you are right..Kim A Soon isnt a NK spy. She went back to NK to get her mum to come to SK for operation. But she got captured by the NK and hence she did the tv show. But now that you asked... I'm not sure whether it was forced out of her or what? If not..why the need to do the TV show? If yes..why the need to do the TV show..they could just kill her straight away for being found to deflect to SK?? I agree..the longer he hides his identity...the greater the hurt YS will be feeling.. Although i'm pretty sure they ll work it out in the end, i just dont know how much anguish they ll put us through to get to the stage where the family is all united again....sighhhhh Anyone has seen the original version till the end?
  14. Finally managed to finish ep 5 and 6 just now~ Just glad that finally YS got to be appointed as the CIO's director after a few (fortunately) failed attempts to obstruct it. The team is looking great .. I especially like the ex-prosecutor and the ex-policeman. I think we can sort of deduce that the ex-prosecutor is in it because he's told to do so by the prosecutor high ups. Right? But looking at his character so far, I'm pretty sure he'll turn to trust YS and betray the prosecutor team in the end. I must say I didn't see the end of ep 6 coming I actually teared up when Seung Goo confronted his dad in the police station and in the car. HJH's face said it all. I think he must have felt guilty having to lie to his family. He's in a tight spot. He lies so he can protect his family but it could very well harm them too (Seung Goo could be met with an accident if he's not careful!). And aww..when Seung Goo said he didn't want to be the boss anymore because since he became the boss, his dad was no longer with him all the time as he's used to T_T I really really hope that HJH real identity can be revealed by the end of first half of this drama ... and I'm hoping that he can somehow work together with the CIO team to reveal the corruption inside NIS. Oh and yup..I actually hope that DYG will turn to support YS too (too far fetched do you think??) From the trailer for next eps Why oh why Jung In Gi has to play another bad character I was so happy until I saw the trailer.. finally this ahjussi got to play someone who was upright and nice (he's the Secretary General Kim Myung Jae). I loved it how he looked so tame and need not to be scary to assert his authority when he talked to the crazy Im Hyung Rak. I would attribute this to Jung In Gi ahjussi's great acting! Thank you @abs-oluteM for updating us with pics, videos and even recaps! I wonder whether @ktcjdrama and @40somethingahjumma are still watching this? @oppasaranghaeyo waiting to read your thoughts on these recent eps and @LaLa so far for me it's still ok (in terms of heaviness) :D
  15. Thank you @LaLa and @stroppyse for the translation I'm so ready for this.. and the trailer looks really good it feels like an action movie Bring it on IkSong
  16. @Tofu i'm so behind i think my last ep was ep 4 i think i ll decide whether or not to continue after the drama finishes and whether it has good reviews then
  17. @mademoiselle Yes .. we talked about it already in the comments before you? That's what I thought too and I hope this show better has a good explanation on how it is hat Hong Ju doesn't come forward unless don't tell me she doesn't remember who her parents are. ..... but she obviously remembered her brother and ...
  18. @LaLa Woahh.. I already rewatched once (while you didn't continue last time I continued on and I finished the whole 12 eps). So no for me because although I like HP.. I don' think I like it enough that I want to rewatch that twice In the early eps of 365 ... but wowww... that drama so far is soo good~~
  19. @Chocolate i'm not sure yet because from the comments it sounds makjang and I dont know whether i'm in the mood for makjang drama at the moment Let's see.. I might try the first 2 eps ;)
  20. I must say I found the revelations of some stuff interesting but most of the time I could no longer connect anything to anything because I just can't remember who, what and when anymore (this show indeed is very complex!). Also glad that few things were explained and not just left forgotten (although I myself had already forgotten about them!) eg: the kid who was nice to Jae Hoon when he was little. So what is OZ? It seems there's this organisation who keeps surveillance on people who has the 'special' genes? I wonder what Yo Han meant when he said that they're lab mice... I think at this point of time, it is very unlikely for me to come to like Choi Hong Ju Her character development so far can't make me like her anymore. Enough of my rant ~ Can't wait to see the next episode
  21. Maybe the writer still wants us to consider the possibility of BR as HH's son because they have the same thought about procreating Not sure whether that's the intention or not. I don't know whether they're trying to tell us that psychopathic traits are hereditary because interestingly .. the scientist and his wife who do not have such genes ended up with a child with one. On the other hand, HH the psychopath and his wife ended up with one with the genius trait. So if that's truly the case (again unless the writer reveals differently), it means that it's not hereditary. I have not done any research in this area either .. but I suppose psychopath can also be a hereditary thing (although not always).
  22. Hmmm... @Chocolate (read spoiler if you already watch ep 16 Chi Kook's fate is pretty tragic too. He was in a coma for so long yet he didnt die. He had to die when he only woke up for days ... So BR had similar thought to HH.. That they got into relationship with women just so they could procreate Now it feels like a long time ago, i dont even know who song soo ho is. Is he the boxer? Gotta check asianwiki. So that guy killed BR's mum (this must happen after BR killed the dad and his siblings right?) Ehh.. I also forget... But isnt Choi Young Ju...that detective's daughter whom he thought was killed by HH? Do I remember it wrongly?? At the end of ep 16 credit was given to late actrss who played Chi Kook's mum
  23. That's what I think at this stage... just because it was JH who was assigned to catch Tae Yool. Maybe he didn't cause his death directly ... but could still play a part in it Let's see how it unfolds~ Ohhh... I also have a gut feeling that Tae Yool might not be the 'good' guy Yeon Soo thought him to be. LOL! I wonder whether JJH started gym-ing for his role in Undercover? I gotta spy on his instagram post and see whether he posted gym shots prior to last year or something. I agree @abs-oluteM, so far I'm liking the fight scenes ... they're better than
  24. Isn't it because he might have something to do with Kim Tae Yool's death? I'm just guessing though ... Glad that the issue with their son was resolved by the end of ep 4. I would have disliked it if the drama continued to drag it further. I really can't wait for YS to be appointed as CIO and to team up with the upright cop + Chu Dong Woo. They'll make a great team Too bad that JH's identity is still hidden, otherwise, he'll make a good investigator or something in that team (and plus he could beat up the bad guys easily ). So the ex-NIS lady, Go Yoon Joo, is no longer an NIS agent due to her using heroine right? And wasn't the 'mark' on her wrist in 1991, an injection site mark? So it could be that due to her undercover role, she got addicted to the heroine? 4 episodes in and I'm still liking this drama
  25. Ok.. finished ep 3 but haven't gotten around to watch ep 4 yet. I'm so glad that this show decided to (at least for now) go against what other dramas would normally do. I was already so scared that JH would choose to stop YS from becoming CIO's director (and if this were the case, I could already picture the 'drama' that would come from that decision). So happy that JH decided to support her and in his own way he is trying to protect his family regardless. Hopefully he won't change his mind further down the track unless YS is the one who decides to back down. I'm actually glad that there are some good people around YS (or will be).. apart from her family, the policeman who is still digging into Cha Min Ho seems to be an upright cop. The other one is the investigation bureau's guy, Chu Dong Woo. I read on Asianwiki that this guy is part of the CIO. So I'm guessing YS would be his boss if she's chosen. I want to believe that YS' old friend, Kang Choong Mo is a good guy too and so his boss Secretary General Kim Myung Jae. And of course reporter Min Sang A is YS' close friend. So YS will have some support from good people across different roles/jobs and I like that. It evens out the playing field because the bad guys are indeed many and powerful too! I just found out that Kim Tae Yool's actor is the one playing the role of Kang Yeo Joo's assistant in Cheat on me if you can @ktcjdrama (since you watched that drama too). I didn't realise at first and I just thought wow..that guy really looks like Kang Dong Won. Now that I know that he's in COMIYC ... It's like deja vu... coz if I'm not mistaken, I said the exact same thing when I watched that drama ... that he looks like KDW I'm guessing Cha Min Ho's wife isn't aware of his husband's job. Could it be that he's also working undercover? If yes, then in a way she is just like Yeon Soo as YS is also unaware of JH's true identity. Gotta wait until tomorrow before I can watch ep 4
