    I know right? I was really hoping the writers scrapped the amnesia arc but alas, ‘‘twas not so. I personally feel like the amnesia arc is unnecessary but I suppose they’re using it to prove that even if YG’s memories were erased, he would still fall for DD and Sara still wouldn’t have a chance. It makes me chuckle thinking that Sara is going to get rejected twice. I’m curious to see the extent of YG’s amnesia. Will he lose all of his memories or just his memories of the past year or so? I feel like the real issue in this drama is how they would deal with the huge age gap - having those around them accept their relationship as well as how the children will deal with it. I was really hoping to see the age gap issue be addressed because that’s where it was headed already. The amnesia arc, I feel, is just a distraction from the real issue.

    The way YG responded to Sara was so satisfying for me. As it turns out, she’s liked him since even before he was with his wife. Unfortunately for Sara, YG never noticed her and still only sees her as an employee. She’s delusional to think that just because she’s done so much for him, that he would immediately develop feelings for her. so it turns out that YG’s wife didn’t know Sejong is Sara’s baby. I wonder though why Sara chose to leave Sejong at their doorstep. I suppose bec they were an affluent family that could provide him with a better life but she was also familiar with YG and his wife. I am sad that indeed, we have an amnesia arc and also just whenYG and DD were starting their relationship. The scene of them making heart eyes for each other at the fashion show was so adorable. It makes me sad that YG has been struck with amnesia before he’s had a chance to come to terms with dating a much younger woman. I wonder how long the amnesia is going to last for. Ugh, I was so happy to see Sara go and now the thought of her coming back into the picture is making me upset.

    I’m glad you decided to check it out! Come post here whenever you get a chance. Really enjoying this drama and the leads have such great chemistry. Also really love that all the characters are pretty intelligent and it’s interesting to watch the dynamic.

    yes! I also think he’s good-looking. I thought he looked familiar and now that you mentioned he’s in One and Only, I suddenly recognized him! He’s the soldier who got crippled right? After seeing the interaction between Marshall Pei and the Tan Sangyu in ep 11, I am now vested in their relationship as well. I really admired TXL’s character even more in ep 12. Even though at great cost and risk to himself, he chose to do everything to save Guangyao. I was so happy that Wanqing saw all of it and was able to defend him and also protect him in her own ways. This drama is doing such a great job of showing us that TXL and Wanqing are not only on par but they also compliment each other very well. They are quick to fill the gaps with each other. I quite like Wanqing’s father as well (apart from his ignorance of Wanting and the stepmom’s evil nature). He seems to be a very reasonable man much like Wanqing. I am still unclear about the kidnapping incident. It seems like it was the stepmom who arranged for Wanqing to be done away with and yet from the conversation between the kidnappers, they intended to kidnap the dad. So I am a bit lost as to what was happening.. Here is a preview of the upcoming episodes. Looks like we will be getting a second kiss soon!!

    @themarchioness oooooppppsss! Clearly I need to read my posts carefully because now I’m tagging the wrong people!!! Wanting and the mom are both so very annoying. Just listening to them talk makes my ears bleed. Guanyao has been pretty clear he doesn’t have feelings for Wanting and yet she’s still pushing herself on to him

    @themarchioness that video is giving me all the feels!!! They look sooooo good together! I also cannot wait for them to finally start dating each other. I found this one too. I really like the theme song for this drama. I think it's sung very beautifully. By the way @themarchioness I am going to check out Arsenal Military Academy. I'm a fan of Xu Kai so I have to check it out!!

    unfortunately no, I haven’t seen it. Is it good? and yes, I appreciate that they showed us a bit of the history between Pei Xu and TX’s sister. They look cute together and I hope to see them develop as well. I feel like the actress might be the 2nd FL in this one. Sometimes I get the impression she likes TX not just as a little uncle. They’re not really related after all. I think both TX and Guanling are clever and they actually recognize that in each other which is why as much as they distrust each other, they also have a certain amount of respect. I didn’t catch the sister calling TX second brother but good catch! I wonder if the older brother is still alive or if he had been killed. Seems to me like TX’s family has some grudges. Not really sure I follow the history though… @Yana it’s addictive right? I can’t say I blame you for watching 8 episodes! I’m hooked!!

    The reaction of the staff as they watch the proposal is seriously a mirror of how we, the viewers, are reacting to it I am still waiting for subs but I have to admit I skimmed through ep 16 just to see how it's going to end.

    I have to say that apart from the beautiful costumes, the sets are also amazing. Makes me wonder what the budget must be for this drama. Gosh, I'm really enjoying this drama so far. Ep 8 and 9 didn't disappoint. Tan Xuanlin is always testing the character and loyalty of those around him to see who he can trust. I love that Wanqing is just as clever as he is and is able to discern the motives behind his actions. I think it's this that he finds quite attractive about her, she's clearly got a brain. I think TX is a good judge of character and likely sees potential in Guanling which is why he is always testing him. So far Guanling seems to be an upright character as Wanqing says he is and I really hope he stays that way and becomes a good ally to TX. Interesting that the assassin is from the south. I do wonder who is behind the attempted assassination. I think Guanling is right in that the intent was to sow discord between them. The scene where Wanqing is tending TX's wounds is so sweet the look TX gives her turns me to mush.

    It looks like there are 3 couples in this one - the leads, the ML’s sister and one of the generals and then the actress and the other general. Right now I’m just invested in the leads. Not really feeling anything for the other 2 couples. There hasn’t really been much screen time for the other couples either because there’s already so much happening between the leads, the Mu family conflict and the army.

    It’s also interesting that Tan Xuanlin thought to put Xu Guanling in the Mu home so that he could help protect Wanxing from her own family. Although he’s obviously starting to feel jealous! Tan Xuanlin flirting though is such a sight to see and I’m really enjoying all the interactions between the leads.

    yes! I think she’s going to realize soon that there is always a good reason for the things he does and his approach to doing things. He’s clearly bothered by what he read in her diary and how she’s being mistreated so he’s helping her to get revenge in the process.

    I love how smart Tan Xuanlin is! I didn’t understand in the beginning why he had arranged for the stepsister to be the secretary but as it turned out, he actually used the opportunity to not only get the 50,000 he needed but also got her to spend a night in confinement. He is always a few steps ahead of the game.

    oh good to know!!! Yes, I also wasn't sure how I felt about it after ep 1 but now that I'm done with ep 4, I am completely onboard. I also am curious to see how it will all unfold. I don't know what to think of Tan Xuanlin.. sometimes he just seems so annoying but I also see him being kind and compassionate. I think what he is showing everyone is a front. As for Xu Guanyao, I feel like he might be different from his father Xo Bojun but I have to see more of him to figure out what his true character is. I wonder if Tan Xuanlin and Guanyao will eventually end up being on the same side. Ugh, the stepmom and stepsister are so annoying! Can't wait for them to get what they deserve.

    You know for some reason, the man that DR is setting SR up with makes me uncomfortable. Of course we know he's a two-timing jerk but I feel like both him and his mom have ulterior motives. It just seems odd that they're rushing the wedding. Makes me wonder if they know about SR's shares.. or maybe they want to be connected to YG's family.

    Me too! I feel like the amnesia arc would just take away the progress between DD and YG and at this point it's already been established that YG feels nothing for Sara. I think the real challenge is making everyone around them accept their relationship, especially the children. I also appreciate that YG is hesitating given their differences.. makes it more realistic. Also, I feel like he needs to be able to get over these hesitations so that he can be prepared to defend their relationship. Everyone around them will also question the relationship so it's good for him to address these misgivings early on. Yes! I was thinking the exact same thing. She can definitely act and cry beautifully. However, like you said, there are times when I feel that the crying is unnecessary. I don't think she realizes that DD is the tutor that Sara's mom and DR are talking about. I am curious though how she's going to react once she finds out.

    @Tofu have you seen ep 5 yet? In it, Tsien Ti takes a photo with a life sized Greg Hsu cardboard and I can’t help but laugh at how much screen time Greg is getting without him actually being in it. so it looks like Alice was formerly called Toem when she was still Kawas. But she’s become evil so she is now a Kariah. It appears that she has a grudge against Orad that Orad is not aware of. I don’t know about you guys but I find Orad very attractive and I cannot wait for him and Tsien Ti to be together. I am glad that the God of Wisdom decided to stay! He is the comic relief in this drama and I love how he just pushes Orad. I love it whenever he’s with them. Still a lot of questions unanswered though!

    @stroppyse I think Sara had deceived herself into thinking she was far more important to YG than she actually is. The part where YH tells DR that his 3 children meant everything to him is a big reason as to why he has developed a soft spot for DD. It was DD’s true love and concern for his kids that endeared her to him. I think YG only tolerated DR out of respect but he’s clearly had enough. Didn’t DR have an affair with YG’s dad? I thought she did and that’s why she was looked down on. I agree with what you said in that she’s eager for SR to get married so that she can feel more secure living off of her rather than YG. I, too, am curious to find out how everyone is going to react once they find out about DD and YG. If the amnesia arc is coming, then I feel like it would happen before everyone else finds out bec otherwise Sara would not be able to fool YG. In the meantime I hope we get more of DD and YG flirting and dating.

    yes! I think Sara, being Se Jong’s biological mother, has more layers to her character than we currently see. I think, too, that she will eventually turn out good. @Nohamahmoud2002 that clip you posted is exciting! It looks like things will be progressing more between DD and YG!!
