(I coined them the 'Annyeong couple' in my head after that scene!) 2. Which moment gave you some hope that this ship will sail? (Aside from the actual confession scene) Same answer as Q1, which is why I started shipping them after! I've become a very hesitant shipper, having suffered too many let-downs, so I was really hesitant to get onboard WG in the beginning. 3. Was there ever a moment when you felt this ship might not sail? Yes, for the whole season until the season 1 finale happened!! 4. What was the episode that inspired you to start writing or posting about Wintergarden? None. I'm a silent shipper lol. 5. What is the craziest thing you have ever done for this ship? Nothing crazy, but I did change my mind about livestreaming for the season finale as I really wanted to find out what was going to happen to WG. If not for them, I would've just waited for the episode to drop on Netflix. 6. What was the most absurd idea you ever had if this ship had not gotten together? None, but I think I might have felt annoyed and disappointed. There were too many bread crumbs. 7. What do you think will Season 2 focus on with regards to this ship? Something realistic, like them balancing work/dating, though I would like some fluff as well. But I don't think that's the style of Hospital Playlist so I'm preparing myself for some disappointment lol.

    Just done with this series! Liked it quite a lot, having not a clue what the webtoon is like. So I have no source material to compare the series adaptation to. I have seen comments/reviews online from people who have read the webtoon and it seemed like most didn't like the Netflix series, so fortunately I watched it with a blank slate perspective. At first, I was hesitant to start the drama because I'm a coward when it comes to horror-ish genre. Decided to give Ep 1 a try (with some company lol) and enjoyed it so I binged the rest in 3 days. Anyway, I felt that it wasn't that scary after Ep 4/5. Eps 2-4 did give me some jump scares though. Eep. The Good: Some shots and transitions were great. A few of the characters were written quite well and made me get attached to them. This came back to haunt me. Some of the monsters were hard to look at, so I suppose this is a compliment. Cliffhangers (because some shows don't bother and so I also don't bother continuing to the next episode LOL) The Bad: Soundtrack. The over-use of Warriors is laughably bad. Some cuts made me ???. Sometimes the flow of the storytelling could be better. I totally 'Whooped' at this scene! But at the same time cussing at the men lol BTW, any news on Season 2??

    Hahaha this one is on my list but I wanna wait till there are more eps first. This hol period actually quite hectic for me at work so I’m just feeling too tired to watch dramas. Like, I tried Awaken and Uncanny Encounter but somehow find it a bit difficult to finish an episode without wanting to just go and sleep lol. But I have the last week of Dec off so I’m planning to catch up with everything then!

    Lol I was totally sobbing the first time I watched it in the cinema with my bro and sis. So I could just cry uncontrollably haha. Even now whenever I watch that scene I will still tear up. I think for JH band, we seem like we’re missing a drummer

    Thanks to @Jane and @mademoiselle for organising this event! It was very fun trying to identify / guess the lies haha. Congrats to @-StrongTower- and @SnowBlob too! As for my lie, I think most picked 3 (well at least from a glance as I scrolled through the answers lol). Iron Man is in fact my favourite character in the entire MCU. So guess how hard I cried in the theatres when *ahem* something happened. I have never flown anywhere just to catch a concert. But I've been to a fair few concerts and fan-meetings for some Kpop groups/bands/actors that I like when they come to my country! Lastly, I love singing, but have a problem singing in front of people I don't know lol. I can go pretty wild with familiar people though haha. It's my introvert personality 1. I was a Soprano in school choir for 7 years 2. I have flown to Seoul specially to watch a concert of my favourite Kpop group 3. My favourite superhero from the Marvel Cinematic universe is Iron Man

    Best news that we're getting this drama on Netflix! Hopefully the filming postponement due to Covid cases will not affect the air date. But at least there's still about 2-3 months left to film the remaining episodes.

    Oh my. My heart of course wants it to be JP, but my head says maybe an open ending where she ends up with none of them. As this drama is named 'Start-Up', they might circle back to the beginning and make it where the success story is about Dal-Mi achieving what her father couldn't.

    Gonna watch this for Namgoong Min! Miss him since finishing Stove League. Hoping for another good drama! Never seen the female leads in other dramas, so I have nothing to comment on the other cast for now. @SnowBlob @bluepebbles I’m also digging the stache look heheh

    TIL hahahaha no wonder it sounded familiar! Everything clicked into place when I read this And I just found out yesterday (yes, very belated, I know!) that there was this 'team JP' or 'team DS' thing going on, and both leads have their own haters... oh my. I mean, I'm on JP-DM ship, but that doesn't mean I hate DS or anything. I'm not averse to DM picking DS in the end, and I certainly am not putting DS down in anyway. Ship wars are so tiring (seriously like after witnessing the ones while watching Hospital Playlist, just.... no thanks). I don't know if it's just me, but recently while I watch dramas, I don't have the energy to analyse and come up with conjectures anymore. I watch for enjoyment. Are (at least some of) the characters relatable and likeable? Is the story engaging? Does watching the drama make me feel things? Start-Up checks all my boxes so I am sticking with it and enjoying the ride, just as I do reading everyone's thoughts here. (On the other hand, I avoid reading views on twitter cos )

    I never regret joining Janghaven. It's become a must for me to visit this cosy space everyday, whether it is to just silently read and catch up with threads, or to post my own thoughts on something. As I am definitely more of a reader than a poster, I hope that the regulars in this community don't get the wrong message when I don't respond to your tags sometimes! I still appreciate that I'm included in your thoughts. I am very grateful that this space exists and I can't believe we're celebrating 100 days soon!

    @abs-oluteM I loved the noodle confession scene too! He was all like “no pressure!” and he really meant it. Right now besides the lovelines I’m looking forward to the Demo day as well. Thought it’d be shown in Ep 10 but they dragged it out so I guess it’ll be in the next ep then. Which is funny cos the title of Ep 10 was Demo Day lol.

    I’ve managed to watch up to the latest episode just now. That’s 10 episodes in 2 days. Phewww! Enjoyed going back and reading everyone’s posts too! Are we divided in terms of lovelines or does everyone have SLS here Ok romance aside, I’m learning a lot of new terms and other business stuff through this drama. It’s quite a new topic for me (unlike medical dramas) so I find this part of it interesting. I also like the three main characters who each have their own flaws. As for In-Jae, I keep going from liking her to hating her. At first when she quit her step-dad’s company, I thought she was going to eventually join hands with Samsan or her sister, but till now she is still competing against Dal-mi and she is so annoying at times. Pretending/lying that the girl in the Sandbox logo is her - not cool. But overall, my favourite duo be Halmeoni and Ji-pyeong (pls let halmeoni be happy)

    I'm very curious to see where season 2 will take us in terms of the stories in the hospital. There is only this amount and variety of patients and their stories that one can tell before the hospital setting starts to get repetitive and stale. Also wondering what (if any) kind of troubles any of the main 5 will get into. So far their careers seem to be pretty smooth-sailing and successful. I haven't even touched on the lovelines yet... There's so much I'm looking forward to!!

    I (finally) just finished Episode 2!! So far, I love the bond between Halmeoni and HJP. The letter-writing part of the plot in Ep 1 was just setting us up for heartbreak and second-lead-syndrome lol. Curious to see where the story goes from here. I've been trying very hard to avoid spoilers so I can enjoy the story. Hopefully this drama doesn't fizzle out like a few other dramas I've watched this year did... Catch up with the thread later when I've caught up with the broadcast~

    @Jane I second Hot Stove League and Stranger both!!! Have to avoid spoilers for Stranger though LOL they are everywhere... @JenL I have learned to ignore rude people online lol. So many expect translations/subtitles to fall from the sky. There’s so much work that goes into subtitling. There’s another type who annoys me to no end - they request for videos that have already been subbed (when they can just check my channel or twitter thread first). I respond/not respond according to my mood lol. @abs-oluteM I have seen half of ep 1 for Start Up this morning and it seems promising so far! Already can feel SLS coming up and the episode hasn’t ended yet
