  1. @JenL I remember one more detail about the Til Death Do Us Part show.

    Spoiler

The couple was bound to a figurine of the both of them - the figurine of a bride & groom we use for the cake. I think it was after marriage the husband wants to break his promise but he couldn't so he tries to murder his wife. I remember one scene where a cover was deliberately put over the figurine so the wife couldn't breathe while he himself went scuba diving. I honestly can't remember who was the one who died in the end. But I want to know the full story. So curious!

Hahaha @Tofu I think I saw a bit of Sabrina the Teenage Witch too but this one is not scary at all. I don't think my family carried out censorship and checked whether a show is PG-13 or not, and I'm left with fragments of memories from some disturbing shows.

Back to the show, now I'm starting to think 8 episodes might be a bit too short to tell the whole story. We don't even know who/what Director Oh is. He seems to be a magical being as well.

As for Hee Ra, if she stops being a witch, is that mean she'll age and die? Or she can at least stay beautiful like Jang Man Wol but be able to move on and be reincarnated?

  2. Episode 7

Amazing how such a huge contrast between Devil Judge and Ms Hammurabi. I was so engaged every step of the way for Devil Judge and Ms Hammurabi became a lullaby. I think Ms Hammurabi is missing the dramatic effects that The Devil Judge has which is why it's less interesting.

How Sun Ah gains her rich and power was all revealed in this episode, and I honestly love her sass even though she's so evil. I never really thought Kim Min Jung is the beautiful kind but there are times she really shine and looks beautiful. I find her beautiful in Mr. Sunshine and this time I found her beautiful as she walks towards the stage at the end at the new chairwoman of the foundation.

I admire her strong will in survival. Her approach is wrong but in a tough world where she has to fend for herself, with no one to protect her, she did what she could to get to the top or become successful. I honestly feel no remorse for Director Seo because he was a scumbag and was chained up and controlled by his own indecent act. I believe it is implied...that he must have raped Sun Ah and instead of crying over this, Sun Ah used it to her advantage. She must have filmed it too, as suggested by her lecture to the orphan girls. Is it wrong to feel glad that she was the one who gave the lecture because Director Seo would have sexually harrassed all of those girls every time he makes a visit!

Now that we know how Sun Ah controls Director Seo, I can't help but wonder if she was the arsonist of the church. It would confirm Yo Han's story shown to us and it wouldn't be due to some silly accident like one of the member's smoking and didn't put out the fire. It would truly be an act of evilness from Sun Ah — she's always has the "If I can't have it, I'll destroy it" psychological tendency. And then she covered up her arson using the name of the Foundation which therefore alluded Yo Han to think it was the Foundation 5 who had something to hide.

I'm a little mad at Yo Han this episode for opening up Ga On's wound, parading his parents' misfortune to the whole world and at the same time using it to his advantage. That's an extremely private matter and needs Ga On's consent. I know what his intention is, hitting two birds with one stone. Not only he gains public's trust using Ga On, he is also opening Ga On's eyes to the defective system. It's just that...it was executed quite savagely. Although I guess Yo Han himself doesn't know how to not be cruel due to his upbringing. But most importantly, I sincerely hope the fake Do Young Chun in jail was not orchestrated by Yo Han to win Ga On over to his side.

It was nice that Yo Han tried to mellow down and learning or at least trying to communicate with Elijah.  I saw this on Twitter and was all :lmao2: . I just had to share it with you guys. The kitty is soooo cute!

Ga On being there is good for the both of them. I hope each episode will have a bit of this and a little bit more of Ga On and Soo Hyun too. I want to know Ga On's thoughts and feelings for Soo Hyun too.

Lastly, OK, I see why you all having so much trouble finding spoilers last night. Hahahaha :lmao2: Even now I'm still seeing Jin Young's fans praising him. Although I agree he did do a great job in that breaking down scene. I do look forward to see if he stands a chance in Baeksang next year. Jin Young won this role himself through audition and talking back at the writer. So I think with his current performance, I really look forward to an award and he is quite swoon-worthy. @abs-oluteM I think I'll adopt Jin Young now, hahahaha. Two Oppa in July!

Like hope he specified his dream job otherwise he might just become toilet cleaner or something unexpected and he had to pay 2 fingers for that

Hahaha, OMGGG, you made me laugh. I think the show left it as an open ending for our imagination.

The extremes she might take it to is sticking them together forever (ie. what you said about turning Jin like herself and Gil Yong like Director Oh).

Gil Yong wishes that he could stay beside her for a loooong time. He didn't specify how long! :psweatduck: It could be til death do us part. I don't like this phrase coz once I saw a show (not even sure what it is) but it was about a couple and think maybe the female was a witch and the lover cheated on her or wanted to leave her but he couldn't because of the spell. And the only way to be free from her is death. I don't even remember the full detail of the creepy show anymore but it is ingrain in my memory of this scenario. Another show was about mannequin becoming alive... :idk: There's also a movie I watched where the building has creatures and there lives a witch. At first she's appeared old but by the end of the movie, she lets her hair down and she was young & beautiful and ready to combat the creatures. I'm dying to know the movie name so I can read up on the plot since I didn't fully understand it at the time.

I watch whatever my siblings/family watch when young so I've this random memories of scary shows which I can't name names. I wish I knew so I could share a proper story of what I've seen and my reactions to it.

  4. Episode 3

I was  when the show reached the end! It's so short! LOL LOL. I didn't have enough.

@Tofu It almost seems like Hee Ra is grooming Jin and Gil Yong to be herself and Director Oh, don't you think? Technically she doesn't need any help but she took them in. I'm curious in Hee Ra's expression too when Gil Yong told her his wish and all the retorts he gives her. I'm glad that his wish is what I thought and simple. A simple wish means the price he has to pay won't be losing something precious or gory. However, since he wishes to stay beside Jin for a long time I honestly hope he will be able to win her heart eventually because then it'd be too sad that he has to watch Jin loves another man, right?

That chicken dish did not look appetising again BUT the cameo actor made it look delicious. I was salivating! Hahaha.

Jin's nightmare is so disturbing and scary. Will she be able to handle it? Her power seems to be awakening. The books and shelf fell and I think she causes it.

@abs-oluteM Like Tofu said, I don't think Jin truly wish for that lady's death. "The word has its weight" - we didn't get to know what exactly Jin wished for because Hee Ra told her to think about it while she eats. She must have been cursing in her mind as well and when people are emotional and cursing, we could use heavier words which we do not mean.

    -----

Agree that this is the first time I like Song Ji Hyo's roles. Oh btw, did Hee Ra change her mind because of Jin? She was going to take an arm but she ended up only taking two fingers. Hopefully the amputated fingers are not physically taken away coz then the doctor could stitch it back. It doesn't seem like she's taking the fingers physically but the "desire" of the person.

  5. @Tofu Hahaha I was thinking of Chae Soo Bin's character in A Piece of Mind but yes you are right, A-Reum was like that too. She and Kim Min Jae made a cute couple. Too bad they didn't have much screen time to make a stronger impression. I do look forward to S3 and hopefully they will return and so is Do In Beom. Need his grouchiness back though; he was too mellow in S2. A little jealousy from Eun Tak at In Beom and A-Reum's interactions would be interesting too. Hehehe.

    Spoiler

Wow, that is a lot of cheating.  I feel sorry for the people she has hurt. I hope they are ok. I wish I could understand their thought process and what they were thinking when they do something so wrong and hurtful. Do they ever not worried that the wrongs they do might one day return to haunt them?

I've a relative where I'm quite awe that after being in 2 divorces, she got married for the 3rd time. I don't know how her relationships with men is like coz we're not close but I do admire her courage to continue pursuing (1) love and (2) marriage.

Hmm, both my relative and friend happened to be brought up by single parent. So I do relate to the reason why PSJ's past comment about wanting his kid(s) to grow up in a healthy family environment even though these days there's no absolute. I've work colleagues who their parents are divorced and one is married and is building her family while the other potentially is not as interested in marriage/family.

    ---

The pre-release cut, I can't with this fringe Jae Eon. He's looking too innocent for his character. Is this how the drama going to twist it around, using Song Kang's puppy eyes ability to win back all the viewers (and Nabi)? I am curious that let's say he is geuninely wanting to be good and what happens next after he sees Nabi with Do Hyuk. Will be fight for Nabi or go back to his old ways...?

I'm still at awe that all that I saw before of Jae Eon and Nabi spending time together like boyfriend/girlfriend is NOT in a relationship. WTH. They don't even look anything different from not being in relationship. And it's all Nabi's narration telling us they're not. So in conclusion, it is best for both sides to discuss and confirm like Bit Na's situation, where she actually has Kyu Hyun asking her, "Let's date".

  6. @TRaNz True that it can be both sides. I'm not sure how the younger generation is these days but I've known more boys who is more trashy than girls back in my Uni days. But I think based on a few young ones I used to spend time with once a week, it seems like they are less conservative in relationship/sex stuff and is more, I guess, like the characters in the drama. But they're not like Jae Eon or Bit Na.

The young guy I know had a crush on this girl and by his description, the girl is toying with him. All of us told him she's bad news but in one ear, out the other ear for him. I've only given him advice once and left it as is coz like you said, his choice, his life.

Hahaha, if it makes you feel better, I had many one-sided crush when young. I'm having one-sided love with all my Oppa deul now! 80% of the time I enjoy one-sided love. It's a feeling only I know and have control of, and doesn't disturb/bother the other person since I don't intend to let it be known. xP

I do think after a breakup / heartbreak, everyone should take some time off from relationship before diving into the next. Otherwise it may come across as insincere and disrespectful for the next partner, especially if the next partner knows about your breakup/heartbreak. How would he/she knows for sure we didn't treat them as a rebound? Well, ideally this is the case but love can be grey.

In webtoon, Nabi is just as trashy from an article I read. But drama version is deviating from the webtoon so hard to say. But I don't like her still, based on current development. Will have to see how the character development goes for sure.

LOL, I'm not even worried about your keyboard because I imagine you would have spare after upgrading your gadgets

Awww this is so cute. Baby mademoiselle riding a dog that probably was not meant to be a horse

Hahahaha I sat on it and the dog ran away... not so cute after falling to the ground. It was embarrassing. Think my siblings had a good laugh at me.

I'm surprised the stripy jumper made its appearance for so many years. The first time we saw it was in EY, right? EY is like what, 2019? We're in 2021 already. I thought the promotion period is only for one year since every season the branded clothing would have new design.

  8. Thanks @TRaNz!

With what you said then it'd be hard to tell if the guy is serious or not. :pandathink::scaredpanda2:

I actually Google Friends with Benefit and normally this should be between 2 people who agrees to it, not supposed to be one-sided. If it is one-sided, then one side is hoping the another side will eventually wanting to be serious and go into a relationship... which pretty much describe Nabi.

My POV on Nabi is that other than not only Jae Eon is charming and attractive, she craves attention & love (from the lack of it from her family). Jae Eon happens to be there when she felt vulnerable but honestly though, her love is shallow, because she got over her first BF quite quickly and rebounded onto Jae Eon. Although in some ways, I kinda think it might be a good thing - being heartbroken isn't exactly a nice feeling so the faster one can get over it of course it's a good thing :idk:

As for the ending of the drama, I don't want Do Hyuk with Nabi. I don't like Nabi's character so far so if Do Hyuk is going to be the "good" guy then no, he's too good for Nabi. And if Jae Eon genuinely fell for Nabi (but didn't know it and now is on the route to discover this), then ok, they can get back together. Otherwise it's best they just focus on their academics and career instead of love. LOL.
