  1. Is this an original work ? I mean not adaptation or from webtoon or web novel to drama? Because the intro itself is like a anime and looks fun I don't know what happened to myself for picking up law drama these days. I thought I'll be dramaless cause I rarely watch law drama and it looks like most of the drama that just recently aired got law theme. I have included Law Cafe in my current watching list and with this and May it Please court still on pending, however I do enjoyed watching the first 2 episodes. I heard this drama will only last for 14 episodes. Just law and comedy ? Hmmm decision decision... Anyway, I do like the premiere and will keep watching to see whether I'll stay or leave it. However if they keep with the comedy and with how the show goes along a somewhat genius lawyer helping people in needs fighting against unfairness in the eye of law, I think I'm in. The way NGM played his character reminded me with the Good Manager, his previous works few years ago. He's just as the same unique as chief Kim and seems to be born with comedy His sincere will to help people even though he has to play out his words and cards however still within the law is really good. I'm looking forward to see what made him who used to be a prosecutor to be a lawyer who just charges his clients with 1,000 won. President Baek seemed to know about his past and I hope president Baek is a good rich man. Ma Ri at first gave impression as a rich granddaughter from rich family who seems can gain anything that she wants. I'm glad that despite that she's still humble enough to open her eyes and can see the reason while in the court against Ji Hun. Hopefully she'll become a good lawyer like him, although less with the eccentric and uniqueness. Just him far from normal is enough
  2. They indeed dated for a short time when SJ was high in popularity and TJ still in the medical college... If the time stamps right then around 2004? But they have known each other before as childhood friends in elementary (and also lived in the same neighborhood) and SJ decided at that time she was his first love. I have watched the first episodes and for the introduction well we got a little background and glimpse of Tae Joo's family. About how she is not part of Kim blood because her mother remarried to Father Kim when she's about 4 or 5 years old after her father death (?). Granny being the old person she is wouldn't accept the intention for the couple to marry because of the mom being a widow and already has child. However when she was left all alone to attend her shop, she felt overwhelmed and had no choice but to accept. After TJ lil sis and bro were born, she has softened enough to the mom, but never at Tae Joo until now. Maybe the way mom keeps insisting that they're both outsiders and have to back down and put up with whatever the Kim family wishes (especially her younger siblings when they were young) not helping to mend or build some bridge for a good relationship between the granny and Tae Joo. I somehow could relate with Tae Joo a little about the burden for living the life where your mom dictate about your choice of study. She never wanted to enter medical school despite her have a good grades and study well, however she got no choice of it just to make her mother happy and maybe to feel accepted by the granny. She whose study life were centered that she has to go to medical school and become a doctor was at lost about what she wants to do and her dreams. I too didn't have lots of time to choose or fight about what I want in life during my teenage years and had to go with the fast paced and pressure from environment about the choice in life and study. If I could turn back time, well maybe I would fight harder but there's not possible other than just to live to my best... In ep 1 we heard just a little about Seung Jun's family background and it looks like ep 2 will cover more about it. We only knew that he lost his father when he's in his 20s and the father left a lot of debt to be paid. He got a little sister who feels that she deserved to enjoy her brother money for her own needs and happiness. He also has a cousin that he's close with and a mother who acts like his manager or part of the management of his career as actor? It's interesting to see how Seung Jun seemed didn't know the bad treatment Tae Joo had when they're dating from his fans and what made them to break up. He definitely cherished his memories but for Tae Joo, what she experienced left a bad taste and maybe a hellish memory of her about him.. Some questions that I have and hopefully can be answered in rest of episodes: - Do the younger siblings knew that they were just half related with Tae Joo? So Rim relationship with Tae Joo is just what you can expect from sisters, fight about clothes and lil sis demands things from her big sis. Tae Joo seems to have soft spot with the youngest Gun Woo and he reciprocates it and seems to be on her side and wishes her the best in life - Will the uncle make an appearance in the near future ? When he moved abroad, the mother said he's going with his parents, so Tae Joo still at least have another grandparents then? Hmm I wonder if they will make appearance too or will be brushed aside.. I'll give the drama a chance since they have a lot to cover and to show. But for the premiere, so far it's okay and light enough for family drama. I wish there's no unnecessary plots tough..
  3. I don't understand the connection between the English title and the Korean title... Other than it's mouthful, the translation is also weird... But well there are lots of kdrama title which English version and the Korean didn't connect or make sense. Hahaha I just read the short summary about our two leads from the first page and it was said that Chak Hee is a single mother? From the way we are introduced she's single yes but no sign of yet that she is a mother.. hmmm if only it didn't air in OTT and has it's own page for characters introduction it can be helpful.. especially after the last few minutes of episode 2 that seems to point out that Si Baek has a dual personality that we didn't expect? Truthfully I watched this blindly (means didn't checking any trailer preview or synopsis before) and just based on trust of the two leads. Their chemistry are really good. JRW nailed it and it looks fresh to see her as a lawyer because the last time I saw her, she was a prosecutor. After this, if she do take another law drama, will she become a judge to complete the collection? It's good to see LKH again after Hi Bye Mama.. I started to notice him because of prison playbook but most of his works after that was quite dark for my taste that other than Hi Bye Mama, I haven't seen him for a while... When I thought he will have a bright and sincere character this time, episode 2 made me think different. Hmmm I wonder what happened to him in the past and if he indeed the culprit and the killer, is this another psychopath or something? Since this drama only 12 episodes, I think I'll put it under my current watching list, which currently quite empty. Hopefully it won't be too dark in the rest of episodes... And no sudden announcement of season 2 too at the end credits for the supposed ending (a jab at Psychiatrist Poong for anyone who's wondering).
  4. I do ~ cause I haven't had any variety after the WSG wannabe project finished about a month ago... I watched 2 out of 3 dramas but I think I have at least watched one projects of each actors.. it's good to see them enjoying themselves for the short vacation and reunion with their former colleagues.. Although maybe because I watched too many old varieties that the games so far look familiar and not strange to me lol I only watched 3 episodes so far but the one who become scene stealer is In Yeop. He just looked so innocent Maybe because others are experienced and have visited one or two varieties at least that they feel more relax than him.

    Goodbye to Bai

Rest in peace @bai Hopefully you are now all free from any pain and suffering from the living world and only happiness when you joined your beloved ones up there 🙏
  6. The first wizarding world war was said ended in 1945, which was also the year that Tom Riddle Jr aka Voldemort was born. I guess the war affected Dumbledore so much that he aged soo much less than 20 years since the first war lol. I'm quite agree with your comments about Johnny's Grindelwald version is better. Maybe because he impressed me from the first 2 movies that it got stuck in my mind haha.. I'm not following his case, but now that it was over, unless they have signed with the current actor for the remaining 2 movies maybe there's a possibility? Movie 4 has yet to be filmed.. probably still WIP from JK for the script. I wish to see more creatures and possibly knowledge about it from Newt tough. If they just use the magical creatures as mediation for the plot like in Movie 3, I also think it's better to not use Fantastic Beasts as part of the tittle because their role isn't as significant like it did in movie 1
  7. I agree with both of you as well. I can't imagine telling my mother everything, though perhaps that is a mother-daughter relationship goal? As I'm not that close with my own mom, I can't relate with how close Mi Rae to Soo Jung. Mi Rae really talks every small thing or achievement that she had and like you said, I think she does it to gain some approval or praise from her mom. Either Soo Jung raised and babied her too much because she's her first born or something, but I don't see her doing the same to Jung Ho. Her husband cared too much about her that he doesn't even know his own children that well. He seems to have a closer relationship with Jung Ho maybe after Jung Ho joined him and worked together in the company, but his interest only lay on his own wife. It such a contrast when you compare the dynamic between Mi Rae's family and Hyun Jae's family. I kind of approved the comment that Father Lee made when he's on the way to drop Yoon Jae. No matter how much his wife grumbled about their sons, she still cares in her own way and understand their children so well. While I enjoy the drama mainly because of the trio Hyun Jae, Yoon Jae and Hae Jun, I really hope we can at least get enough understandable plot about the remaining cast, especially those who got many airtimes. Soo Jung sudden changes isn't explained and how I wished at least I got some inner monologue when she's alone, either in the yard or when she's inside her own room. Instead we're only shown about her pondering about things without hearing what she's thinking inside. Sure, her mom's dementia that is getting worse probably one of the biggest concern that she has now, but what's about the relationship with her MIL? Is she holding a grudge against her because MIL made fuss about the plan for living together with her mom? When she said she no longer wanted to tip toeing around Mi Rae, I really wished she could be more open with her MIL. Her MIL character is someone who is upfront with her thoughts and feelings. They need to clear some air between them so that they can have a clearer relationship ahead. The husband really doesn't help at all about this. He keeps choose Soo Jung's side. I wonder about the short comment that grandpa made when he's thinking about his lost daughter. He mentioned that he needed to tell her about their family health history and she needed to be careful about her liver. We won't get any cancer plot, will we? Gosh, please not this kind of arc. If there's this kind of plot watching the rest 30 episodes is going to be a chore.. they better give us lots of Hae Jun and Yoon Jae airtimes instead.
  8. Maybe it's only me but over the past few years, on the day that I get one year older every year, I no longer feel anything special. The day just passes as usual like any other day..

Well I just treated myself a little bit better by eating any foods that I want :P

  9. @stroppyse thank you for doing all the translations that @abs-oluteM requested before. @Min86 Actress Shin Dong Mi is indeed older than Oh Min Seok, but like Hae Jun's character, she's just older by 2 years from him (yes I checked their birthdate few minutes ago). Actually I really like how Shin Dong Mi birthed Hae Jun's character to her style. I couldn't think other actress to play her role. She has fantastic chemistry with both Oh Min Seok and Yoon Shi Yoon, and I rather to have more of her screen time because Hae Jun is just that comedic and funny to me. The chemistry between the 3 actors felt natural to me. About the other leading actresses.. Comparing them to Shin Dong Mi, they have fewer experiences based on their filmography and this drama probably their first experience as leading lady and might feel the pressure for doing it well. The actors that played Soo Jae and Jung Hoo are probably new in this type of drama. I'd like to reserve more of my opinions and I'd like to give them more chances since they both new to this type, but hopefully as the story goes they would become better. Like @stroppyse and probably others, Hae Jun and Yoon Jae couple is one of big factor that made me still stay in this drama. Well for ratings... I couldn't say much but I do feel the drama lack an important factor or maybe a focus that might affected its own rating. The premise about marriage project and getting an apartment as the prize is quite fun, but with how it got developed and done so far, I don't think it worked that well. On first few episodes the writer kinda introduce every possible plots for us in the beginning. The marriage project, the adoption problem and birth secrets almost at the same time. I think the writer want to address it one by one or maybe connecting one problem with another but sometimes I felt that it was done poorly and over the place. Given the right scripts and direction, the birth secrets and adoption makjang plot can be done and executed with tension and suspense because all the seasonal actors are actually great for that. But we'll have to see how they're going to do that in the upcoming episodes.. I'm not going to have big expectations so that I won't be that disappointed
  10. Oh you have caught up to the latest episode? Despite saying that he hates to do it or refused, he is still complying with her odd requests. I guess he is having so much fun after not dating for a while. He has deeply fallen to Hae Jun's charm. It just a matter of time until he admits his feeling and make their relationship official. Jung Ho is indeed more mature than Soo Jae. But Yoo Na and he have yet to build some chemistry from their relationship. Not to mention because of their current position, it will put a pressure because he is the boss and Yoo Na is just a new employee. The others staffs at the store will point out clearly that she probably got the job because of her connection with the boss. But I do agree that Jung Ho is a lot better than Soo Jae. Even though that he is the son of the owner, he still have his responsibility and not afraid to lower himself and act like an employee at the branch store in front of the customers. Both Soo Jae and Jung Ho are the youngest of their family but they are so different with each other. Interesting... For Hyun Jae and Mi Rae, I think their progress as couple is going nicely so far. They are taking slow getting know each other more. Hyun Jae has been out of love department for awhile and only living day by day surrounding himself with works. It's quite understandable that he has yet to get out of his routine to not check on his phone or telling someone about his days because he has been living alone for quite some time. Their small talks and dates to straighten the misunderstanding is also nice. Hopefully they will go smoothly and Hyun Jae "woman's problem" will end with this drama writer. We still have a lot to cover from the series and I don't think the women that seems to surround Hyun Jae will help the plot to go further.
  11. After 3 months finally unexpected business season 2 has come to end... I enjoyed watching the show every weekend for the past 3 weeks. Great job from the two owners, all par timers, staffs and also big thanks to the residents for allowing the production team for filming it. Season 2 mart is definitely bigger than the first one and because this mart is part of the central life of the village, the mart always never empty. In season 1 we can see the beautiful scenery and surrounding because the mart that they have to taken care of are pretty small and surrounded with vast field and snow. In season 2, our two owners were definitely busier and even found it hard to find the time for eating. While the lack of beautiful scenery and relaxing scenes in season 2 was a pity, the warm and tight relationship between the villagers are always there and will warm your heart with their stories while warming up your belly with a bowl of ramyeon. We don't know whether they will do another season or not... If they do, I wonder how big the mart that they are going to use for filming... Or maybe they will change the concept from mart owners to other shop? We'll have to wait and see..
  12. Gosh the sister is very loud and noisy when the three of them are together. I didn't know whether it was something problematic with her, or she felt inferior to the two because she was the least in term of wealth. She and her family are basically living off from Grandpa. She keeps tagging along because she felt bored at home and want to have fun outside. But she is controlling most of conversation flow. Not that Mi Rae's grandma also a good character either. She's currently acts as if she was ignored by Mi Rae's mother when they have been living together for so long and tries to rebel. Grandpa looks happier when he spent time outside with them for sure, but I guess it also because he finds no joy since he is starting to lose hope in finding his lost daughter before his time is up. In term of the cousin family, I think sooner or later we will see problem about those family whether we wanted or not. The nurse and the cousin will probably fight about taking care of their children. I don't know why the elders seem to spoilt the youngest to the point that he almost got anything he want. In the 1st episode he broke SJ's toy even when he warned him to not do that and got away just because he is still a child. It's not a correct way to teach a child. @SilverMoonTea I hope you can stay for quite some time xD And I don't know if the OST will be a hint or not, but OST part 3 and 4 especially the lyrics are containing sad messages. Hmm I wonder what will happen in the next few episodes about our 3 couples? Or will we start the story of the lost daughter soon?
  13. Unfortunately I also only know the literal meaning of Hyun Jae and Mi Rae in Korean words too like you. @stroppyse has more knowledge about Korean than me, so I think her explanation is correct too. And from what I knew while learning the language and culture from internet and by watching, usually Korean would use Hanja (Chinese characters) when they give name to their children. From there, you will know the real meaning behind their names. But sometimes there are also names that are not derived from any Chinese characters but just pure a Korean words, for example like the name of the children in this drama (the nieces and nephews of Hyun Jae from his cousin ) Ha Neul 하늘 (sky), Ba Da 바다 (sea), Hae 해 (sun). But since I'm still far from mastering the language since mostly I learned it from internet, I might be wrong too. And welcome to the thread! Ahh that's why there's also disaster option while I try to look it up on the dictionary. Thanks as always:)
  14. I took a glimpse or the article and actually they made combination of the name. Hyun Jae Mi Rae as Hyun Mi. The literal means of their combination name 현미 is brown rice. Yoon Jae and Hae Jun as Jae Hae. The literal means of their combination name 재해 is disaster. Soo Jae and Yoo Na as Jae Na. I tried to look up for the meaning of 재나 in dictionary, but the results that came out is measure (?) I don't know if it's right or not. I'll have to see what @stroppyse takes about the article.
  15. Found this drama unexpectedly while I'm browsing for dramas to watch on Sunday afternoon.. Currently I didn't feel like to watch my current watching list and looking for something new. Then I found this drama which only have 6 episodes and all got released at the same time too. Unexpectedly I got hooked until the end. I haven't read the original webtoon so I didn't have any expectations. I just knew Ji Chang Wook and Hwang In Yeop are parts of the main casts. The story itself are quite simple but quite relatable as we probably might have faced those crisis when we were growing up. And because this drama is also a musical drama, the songs are no longer played as the bgm but actually sang and performed as part of the episodes. The lyrics are all relatable and gave you this warm feeling while listening to it. As expected for the goddess lyricist Kim Eana There are parts of story that I wished they could explain it more and some that probably weren't that important and could be edited, but overall, I'm satisfied and enjoyed all the 6 hours I spent while binge watching the drama.
  16. Glad to see you here as well.. after taking a break from the last kbs weekend drama, here I'm back to the newest one.. I guess now that I'm getting old this kind of family drama will always pick up my interest, depends on how the story goes hahaha.. Oh please no angst about grandparents the untold lie that Mi Rae's mom is adoptive daughter of the professor's family has yet to be released. I'm sure the grandma will make a fuss being lied and betrayed and it will take several episodes to cover.. and also if Hyun Jae and Mi Rae do decide to pursue relationship and then the adoptive siblings of the Grandpa Lee got revealed, won't it also become another problem they have to tackle? Unless grandpa revoked his adoption and Min Ho choose to use his previous family name that will change the brothers surname as well? Thinking about those plot already gave a headache but I could see the potential of that plot in the future Let's hope I will be wrong.. I wonder if Mi Rae and her brother knew about that fact that her mother is not the biological daughter of their maternal grandparents? Lee brothers seemed to know about the adoption of their father. Min Ho and the Grandpa never hide the fact they were looking for the lost daughter / sister / aunt. Yoo Na doesn't want to marry yet I guess. In the preview Soo Jae doesn't mind if he has to marry her because they like each other enough at this stage, but liking eachother and having some hobbies isn't the only base for marriage, no? I guess soon their lie will be discovered when the mother keep pushing for marriage and family meeting with Yoo Na's parents. And for a love triangle.. hmm Mi Rae's brother might develop some feelings but so far I think Yoo Na doesn't find him attractive. She's kinda annoyed with his actions hahaha I don't have enough knowledge in fashion and style but I do think that name isn't that good. Mi Rae's choice might be better? Because her name does have a literal meaning for future lol
  17. My goodness I really hope Hyun Jae ex will end her law suit and extended cameo soon.. Her pity party and guilt tripping Hyun Jae really annoyed me to the max. I kinda FF her scenes because I had enough of her screen time... Now that the only things left for her divorce law suit is the assets and property division, I hope it can end soon... But I guess she wouldn't leave without ruining Hyun Jae life geez. She lied to Mi Rae... Hopefully it won't go beyond Mi Rae imagination and it will become a good push for Hyun Jae to initiate and start his relationship with Mi Rae soon.. I enjoyed watching Yoon Jae and Hae Jun bicker and petty fight.. When they are being childish for calling each other just to make sure they keep the promise to keep in contact, it was so funny I really hope their relationship will go smoothly. For the youngest relationship, for now I don't really put my interest of their relationship as of yet. They are cute and sweet but because they introduced their relationship based on lie, I don't know whether it will go smoothly or not.. It will break the Lee brothers mom for sure because she adores Yoo Na. For the adoption plot, I guess we will see the progress whether Mi Rae's mom is the lost daughter or not once we saw the tattoo in her feet? I wonder why up until now she never had any flashback about her past life. She's focused in living her current life and taking care of her adoptive mother. Maybe once Hyun Jae and Mi Rae have a stable progress? Hmm around episodes 20 probably... I've been thinking a lot whether to keep this drama as my current watching list or not, but since by episode 10 I'm still curious enough and had fun so far, I'll put it under my list... Let's hope for a good story until the end..
  18. For me, It's quite okay.. or maybe because I lowered my expectations before watching it? hahaha The CG is cleaner and although again the focus of the story is not about the fantastic beasts themselves, every time Pick and Teddy made appearance I can't help but focus at them. hahaha Teddy and Pick got their own promotional poster after all xD @bai @Tofu @SnowBlob @stroppysehopefully all of you will have the chance to check it out :) I was excited because it has been awhile since I'm entering the wizarding world again and I was kinda excited when it got released.. but now that the hype moment has gone, I am more chill about it and waiting for the upcoming movie.. Hopefully the waiting time won't be as long as the movie 3 @im0202
  19. I only went to cinema to watch for wizarding world.. because the sound effects is different while watching from home lol.. Oh well it's alright if you lost your interest.. I don't even know the actors and actresses that well so I just watch for the story lol Because there's no book about this (other than the screenplay scripts that got released later), I don't have a choice other than watching the movie.. I agree that movie 2 didn't hold the same special effects like the movie 1. Maybe because the focus shifted more into the characters rather than the fantastic beast itself. I won't talk that much about movie 3, in case you're looking forward to see it without spoiler.. but if you don't mind about it, I'll wait for others who are interested in watching before sharing my opinion about the movie. Yesterday was my first time stepping into the cinema as well since the covid outbreak. Thankfully since I chose the earliest screening time, inside the cinema there were less than 10 people including myself hahaha I think I have to rewatch the first two again before I can rate it hahaha.. but first movie will be special I think because like the first movie of HP, it will always have this special place in my preference because of the first introduction. Looking forward to see your reaction after watching the movie ;) @Alice Wonderland looking forward to hear from you too after you're done watching :) no need to rush because I understand RL might not be preferable at the moment. The reason I could watch yesterday because I took a day leave from office. I've been planning it and thankfully the released date was not that far so I could squeezed it in between my plan hahaha
  20. Fantastic Beast : Secret of Dumbledore finally had been released! I for myself was excited of it because it has been too long since the second movie and I missed the wizarding world.. Have you watched it? I myself have watched and wow just like the title, it was really a secret that I never thought about.. Tagging several members of the club for chat : @mademoiselle @Jane @bai @im0202 @stroppyse @abs-oluteM @SnowBlob @SilverMoonTea @Tofu @Alice Wonderland
  21. It's been awhile since I logged in.. And the first thing I did was visiting this since few minutes ago I just finished watching live of the last episodes... My real and raw thought and opinions about the ending.. I might have different opinion after watching with subs or calming a bit, but who knows hahaha - Until the end we don't know who Min Chae father is or with whom Hee Do ended up with. I was started to think that maybe my previous experience with finding the husband kind of plot messed something in our mind. I think most of us have experienced and watched Reply series. The most famous and popular one among the kdrama fans would probably 1998, but since I watched the first series 1997, it was more mind blowing at that time. The guessing I had to do every time there's hint about the potential husband lol. Maybe because of that when I was presented with similar plot in here, automatically I started to connect it with a little hint of finding the husband between Hee Do and Yi Jin.. However, the last name of Min Chae is already a big fat hint, but I tried to deny it.. for a few weeks.. By not showing who's the father.. I think the writer and PD want to show us that what they want to share with us was not all about finding the husband or father but the journey of Hee Do growth. From being an unknown fencer to become a national athlete that the whole country proud of. The precious memories and friendship she made during the hard times in 1998 when she almost lost hope and her dream. And they did success for it. I was on edge of my monitor when she fight in the piste, I cheered when she won and I laughed and cried together with her during her journey as fencer. - Friendship between the 4 school mates What made me want to watch this story because I read and did anticipate the chemistry between the 4 youngsters of Tae Yang High school. Hee Do and Yu Rim have a precious kind of friendship. They grew from seeing each other as rival and enemy and they ended up as a dependable friend that always be there during the happy and sad days. They knew each other well because both are athletes and experienced the hate from media in turn. Ji Woong and Seung Wan friendship prove that there could be a normal friendship between man and woman without including and romantic feelings. Maybe because they're growing up together since babies, but they understood eachother so well that they don't have to explain or prove it to show their friendship. They are more like a cousin or brother sister kind of friendship. Both of them are so precious. - The love story.. Haaa.. actually I had mixed feelings about this.. at first after ep 15 finished, I was wondering if Yi Jin didn't move from sports section and stay there at least for 1 or 2 years, maybe the results of their relationship would end differently. He can always be there for Hee Do, watching her from beside when she competed and he later reported it in his duty as sport reporter. The things that happened to Yu Rim family was a pity but there's little chance for Hee Do to face that because of her family background. However, knowing Yi Jin's type, he might not want to stay long in sports, not only because of Hee Do. He will probably want to expand his experience and career as reporter. After the end of ep 16, I wanted to blame the book rental owner. What if he delivered the package instead of waiting for Hee Do to come and visit the shop? Maybe we could get another chance? Yes the long 6 months being apart between the two were something that already happened, but at least they didn't have to misunderstand and their sincere feelings towards each other can be delivered. They might give their relationship another chance after thinking and parting for a while But then from the last entry of the diary, written by both when they were still in so much love with eachother, when Hee Do realized that she didn't mean what she said to Yi Jin and Yi Jin who finally understood the pain Hee Do had to go through when he's away, it looks like they were all ready to end their relationship as lover. That's why both wanting to say goodbye not with hateful remarks and bad memories, but they want to have a happy end. Oh I really wished and prayed they would end up together. I really did so. But then again Hee Do had really a bad experience when she's young when she was all left alone by her mother because she's busy with work. She tried to understand Yi Jin because she had that experience, but Yi Jin himself kept breaking the promises he made to her. Yi Jin also realized that maybe he's too selfish to think about himself and not about Hee Do. The affection between both grew when they needed eachother the most during their hard times in 1998. But as the time change and the problems both have to face become too much different, their support at that time no longer become strength that they needed.. Did I feel disappointed with it's end? Well I do, but I don't regret watching this drama. It taught me several lessons and I really enjoyed spending my weekend night with them. I laughed and teared up because of it For the past 2 months I really had good times. Through this I found Kim Tae Ri who really did fabulous work in portraying Na Hee Do. Nam Joo Hyuk too has really grown and become a one of a kind actor. Hopefully one day there's another project that reunited the two that end up with the two characters can get their happy end together as couple. Their chemistry are really amazing. The other 3 members of Tae Yang High school were also great and I'm looking forward for their next project.
  22. Making scenes ep 7 & 8 It was actually Bona who suggested that meme face? And the time both actress have to spend for practicing and ensuring they did the fencing match perfectly is just wow I read somewhere that to shoot the Asian games final, they almost spend a whole week to do that? It's good to see the two actress support each other like that.. Hope to see them being a good friend soon
  23. Congratulations for finishing ep 4 Now it's up to you to watch the rest or not.. our deal was until ep 4 for both dramas.. I've watched till ep 5 for weather but haven't continue anymore lol While the progress of romance and finding Min Chae father slowly showing up, I'm waiting for the friendship and bonding scenes between the 4 youngsters.. too bad that the show only made Ji Woong appeared as the pretty and cool boy who likes Yu Rim.. his words and actions sometimes also showed how kind and warm friend he is. It's the same with Seung Wan. While her character seems to be painted as a junior who's trying to look good to her senior, actually she's a good friend (especially to Hee Do when she's still a nobody or a gold medalist) and seems to be quite adult among the other 3.. and please more dynamic scenes between Seung Wan and Ji Woong...
  24. Episode 8 didn't only have fun and comedic scenes.. in here we are shown the struggle that Yu Rim has to endure. I do feel bad to her because of her family hardships and the burden she has because she felt bad for doing expensive sports when her family could barely afford to support her... However her actions during the final game, her lashing out to Hee Do while insisting that she's the only victim isn't acceptable.. As professional athlete, and as the senior one if we compare to Hee Do in international competition, she could do better.. But yeah maybe because she's still young and her emotional state at that time wasn't in stable one, she didn't realize what she did. During her small talk with Yi Jin in her parents' snack shop, she admitted that she only did because she felt she's the right one. She didn't think her actions would lead to hate against Hee Do.. Yu Rim broke down after being punished for 3 months for not being able to train in the NTC, her mom having a hard time because of the supplier of the rice cake who fled away with her money.. and she felt bad for not being able to help her mom because she couldn't get her price money (?) But probably one of the good scenes and character development in ep 8 when Yi Jin visit the creditors and gave some money he collected from his paycheck.. the creditors told him to not keeping his promise for not being happy. He realised that he was wrong for cornering him back then. " Even if it's hard, do your best to find your happiness "
  25. After quite heavy episode in ep 7, we get first half of ep 8 with comedy and youth feeling. The romance for Hee Do has started. Hearing past confession by Yi Jin to then his gf made her blank that she didn't even realize entering male toilet.. Kim Tae Ri really nailed her comedic scenes hahahaha Hee Do even jealous with the aunties who adore Yi Jin And in here Yi Jin didn't deny that he's handsome. He got the attention 80% because of the don't disturb placard that Hee Do left that night but according to him his face contribute another 20% for the attention.. and Hee Do did admit what he's saying as well LOL Na Hee Do what are you doing with your leg?! I was laughing so hard when I saw that during the live stream
