There was a scene when Dong Ju was young. He was in an open field and picked up the rock - it glowed. Apparently it was part of a meteorite. Then KS and LHN came along and DJ gave the rock to LHN because it dropped from the sky and that is his name. KS held it for awhile and it glowed too. LHN has been keeping this rock in his backpack all this time.

KS says the rock saved his life (when he was escaping the people chasing him) by sending him into the future.

So I think this is supposed to be an alien/galaxy power that is unknown to us human now, instead of God's doing haha.

Edit: To add on, KS lost his power for awhile after trying to strangle the evil pastor. He could no longer see people's lives/history when he touched them. But by the end, this special power came back to him again.

Last episode - it finally ends! Joke aside, ep 16 was more about settling the various relationships rather than catching the villians. A quick summary for @abs-oluteM:

• Of course nothing happened to Lee Tae Man and his Chief Prosecutor friend after Dong Ju's revelation on TV. They had to step down but it was a temporary measure to appease the public.
• Then LTM's secretary gave him up to the police (because he was asked to be the scapegoat) and everything fell from there for them. For the Chief Prosecutor, it seems there is some calculation error about the statute of limits because it doesn't count when you are overseas lol.
• The biggest beneficiary is LTM's publisher brother - he took over his position. He was found out about the bug in the expensive watch but no consequences for that. (DJ's friend wanted to sell the watch to help him financially.)
• The guy who thinks KS is the almighty, after talking to Dong Ju, went to the police and exposed the church. They found the skeletons of the children in graves and the pastor was arrested.

Regarding the relationships:

• Lee Ha Neul asked Kang San if he wanted to leave with him. He did. But in the end LHN decided to surrender and was jailed for 5 years, so that he could live with KS honourably instead of as a fugitive. This is despite the older detective letting him know he will not expose him, and apologising for not listening to him years ago.
• LHN also seems to have reconciled with the ex-gf who said she will wait for him. (Btw, was this ex-gf LTM's mistress or just a business partner/friend?)
• KS's "girlfriend" has dementia - a result of a car accident a few years ago.
• KS didn't go back to the past. It was not shown if he would have been able to. He's going to school instead lol.
• DJ, being kicked out from the house provided by the publisher, was invited by KS to stay in LHN's house instead. (I quite like that house. So serene.)
• DJ published a new book "Miracle Brother" which is the story of KS and LHN. Supposed to give 30% royalties to KS as part of his "rent". But they are waiting to see if it will be a hit haha.
• So DJ and KS still live together.

This drama started well but sagged from the middle. There was not enough material for 16ep and the writer also could not sustain the plot intricacies - like the thumb drive that the ex-gf had which ended up not really being part of bringing LTM down. I think the mistake is the drama revealed to the audience the mystery whereas the characters in the drama are still trying to figure out what is happening. So there is little excitement for us.

The actor playing Dong Ju is too old. He should have been about 10+ years younger than LHN, and yet they look about the same age after 27 years. But that aside, he portrayed the role well. He was believable when he was an unsuccessful author and broke, and also when he is bothered by conscience and was a good guy. He also does a quivering lip really well lol.

I don't mind that KS stayed in the present instead of going back to the past. Because would he have been able to change things? No he wouldn't. He still did not have the power. And it's not one of those cases where you can reveal the truth and the baddies will go to jail. The only thing he lost is the relationship with the GF - but they are "seeing" each other in the present so to speak.

6/10 for me.

Boy was I wrong! But happy to be wrong as the unpredictability is enjoyable.

It made me check the no. of episodes of this drama though as it felt like it was ending lol. But glad to see it is 14 episodes. So we are at the halfway mark.

From this article:

I think it is quite obvious that YW's mum is procuring organs illegally for the hospital's wealthy donors. From the above sentence, could it be that she did the same to KY's mother, he found out and thus the steps to reveal and take revenge?

I hope this means what it should 🤣😘

I think he is paranoid by nature and given his big plan to destroy YW/his family, it's not surprising that he has cameras installed in case anyone gets suspicious of him. But he has likely taken precautions and thus there would nothing incriminating (criminally) that can be found. When he realised JS had taken BMG's 2nd phone, he immediately destroyed his in the microwave.

Only thing is now he knows HJ is on the other side so I fear he may make use of her to mislead/misdirect the rest.

From the start, I found DJ’s police friend suspicious. But then he seemed to be just a supporting role for all these episodes. Then suddenly now, DJ confessed that he stole Lee Ha Neul’s story, and the friend had a really weird look. Not sure if it is just bad acting 😂

@abs-oluteM That scene is not funny at all! 😅 Instead it's quite sad 😭 I like that he has backbone - it's clear (probably to her as well) that he likes her. But he doesn't let her lord it over him, the way she lords it over all the other males who chase after her.

Woah, the reporter guy has a bad case of obsession with YW 😨 The question is why. The latest episodes have given his background - he was neglected by his parents when young so YW's family sponsored him. So did he grow so jealous of YW or did YW's mother do something to him and he wants revenge? I'm hoping for the latter just so the story is richer. He may not have done the dirty deeds, but he seems to be taking advantage of the situations and just waiting to bring down YW (and his family, but they probably deserve it).

The Chief Prosecutor's daughter seems to have found a conscience and is now helpful 😆

YW is brave eh lol? When JS said wow your bedroom so large, YW immediately said he hopes to be sharing with someone soon and looked at YJ haha. Of the 3 leads, I like YW the best so I am rooting for him!

Ep13 was kinda slow. I'm beginning to feel that this drama should be ending already. But there's another 3 to go right? They are just rehashing all the same points.

Good to see the brothers reunite. I'm curious to see what would become of Lee Hanuel's ex.

When you do watch the first 2 episodes, must cherish the happy and funny moments. It will be a big contrast to what is going to come. The war is starting and the ladies here are pictured fleeing their village in the middle of winter in the upcoming episodes.

I don't have Viki too and not going to subscribe to another one, on top of the 4 I do have 😅 So I'll watch on "alternatives" too haha.

Have completed the 2 episodes. I like NGM and how he keeps his cool and does not become one of those males trailing after the FL, although he likes/loves her. But I'm kind of sad the writer made him fall on first sight lol! I'm not feeling the chemistry between the two leads currently. Think I will be in this more for the story than the romance.

YW's father seems to have known of the plan. So if your speculation is correct, either he doesn't know JW is his son or he's a real b*. Does that mean he had an affair with JS's mother? 👀 Any idea why JS's mother was going to leave JW at the park when he was young?

But YW's mother could also have targeted JW because JW had been at the hospital for something and did some tests that showed he was compatible. And she kept him as a backup plan when YW's condition deteriorates.

This plot is moving nicely. Apart from the Chief Prosecutor's daughter, there is nothing major irritating that makes you want to scream at the characters.

What I don't get is why she spends so much time in shipper threads when she's an oppa-only fan. I know they don't like shippers taking things out of context, but (from my perspective) it really is quite exhausting being in that environment when everyone believes things you don't. Why doesn't she just share it in his actor's thread? The shippers lurk in actor/actress threads for interview translations anyway and takes it back to the shipper threads. The only other reason I can think of is that she enjoys the attention she gets from being knowledgeable of her oppa.

 

Because no one reads the HB thread 😂 (except lurk). Probably she doesn't mind all the shipping discussions as long as they are not true.

I didn't read the details but apparently there were rumours of HB-Ha Ji Won during Secret Garden time, and some SHK fans think he cheated on her. But HJW was invited to the wedding, so BJ fans threw that back and said this is proof they were just friends.

I don't know about CZY, but I think for Wu Lei, he may have had some good feelings for Lusi. Not that he would do anything because he's so young and this is just the start of his career. But if you looked at the BTS for LLTG, NFY and AASOL, he looks at Lusi differently, and he is entertained by her. With Zhou Yutong, it is very very friendly and they seem to have a lot of fun working together. With Zhao Jinmai, don't hate me, but I think this girl is boring and he treats her as just a normal colleague.

But from Lusi's perspective, I think she had more fun working with CZY then Wu Lei 😭😂.

That said, I didn't watch all the BTS so 🧂🧂🧂🧂🧂😂.

Was she rational? From her response at the near end... I thought she was overly confident about how much she knew HB. How can one be so sure? Does she personally know him? Is she a fan since day 1 he's been in the business? Even so, I am skeptical and doubtful one can know what their bias is like or what he thinks/feel/will do. Plus, people change and react differently when they are with different types of people and at different age and life stages. Also, she was emphasizing on how much he loves Kyu. Proof? Or just based it on the photo he picked? — That's classic shipper's style speculation. Apologies in advance for being blunt/honest about this.

From majority of her posts, she seems rational. I was a new fan at that time and even I was 90+% sure BJ was real. I leave that 10% for, like you said, you can never know fully.

She has been following HB for so many years and is very familiar with how he behaves. His behaviour changed with SYJ, it was very obvious. How can someone who followed him for so long not notice eventually? So I think, at the start, she contributed to the BJ thread as per usual, because with every drama, there are always shippers right? Then the longer it went on and there was more and more material, she began to realise that this could finally be the one for HB. And she couldn't take it. Because we all now know that she is one of those fans whose fave must be single. She didn't want HB with anyone, including SHK.

She was jealous. So what did she do? She jumped ship to Binkyo. Like she says, she is not shipping on either side, that's not how she is. She is just contributing on HB. So if she was neutral, why was it necessary to change? Because she was no longer happy in BJ thread knowing her oppa was likely no longer single. So she went to Binkyo thread knowing that was improbable.

Whatever she said to me in DM was either her trying to convince herself or trying to convince me. She thought I was fan used to shipping and overexcited about celebrities etc, not knowing I AM A RATIONAL PERSON! 🤣
