  1. @dingyuday Wow, I saw Son Ye-jin on the way... Let's shoot a new drama... Great baaaah … I also took a picture of a sabul near here.. Whoa @BinjinGolfing OP said she met Son Yejin while walking by the street. Yejin was holding a phone to her ear in front of a flower shop. Her nose is high and she looked very pretty OP's from somewhere in Gyeonggi-do. Source: @MelTy39247706
  2. I see everyone here loves episode 1 😂 The best part for me is the epilogue! Do you think maybe he kept the other shoe??? And Kim Seon Ho's lips are very red. It's very distracting! 🤣
  3. @mademoiselle Yes, I think it is worth watching. The subject matter is not the usual that I like but once in awhile, we can do with a bit of sobering up. The good thing is the story doesn't drag and they don't show the gory stuff - but you know what's going on. There were 3 parts I shouted out "Oh!". The acting is good all around too. The role suits Jung Hae In. After the melo romances, this is a good change. I like him better here than in SITR. Yes, I watched hometown chachacha then came back and watched the last 2 episodes 🤣
  4. Finished the series. It is sad and a bit gritty. @stroppyse is accurate that any comedy is very very light - there’s not much more than what is in the trailer. This drama is about bullying in the military. Spoilers
  5. Ooooh, I am curious. What are some of the bad things people have said about Hyun Bin?
  6. Tom Ford Beauty HD photos from @hyunbinsfiancee
  7. Aug 27, 2021 Seems HB is filming a new CF, but no one is sure what it is. The food truck banner shows "73 hours" - the closest anyone could find was 73hours.com.cn which is for... women's shoes??? 😂 @bean82925 Hyun Bin X 73hours "After it was over, he didn't even forget the autograph and left." I just love this little too ..
  8. Aug 27, 2021 Men's Crocodile vast.ent [Vast Making] The personification of fall 🍂 Have a happy Friday with the behind-the-scenes of Crocodile by the mood master Hyun Bin:)
  9. In most cases, the Empress is ignored. So it is better to be concubine 😂 Haha, no. I am just amazed at the possibility that the drama writer wrote the BL intentionally. I always thought it was a bromance but never saw it as a romance. So brave, these korean writers.
  10. @mademoiselle The HB fan club is called The Space. When I tried last year, it was restricted to koreans. But now it seems there is an international site where we can register. Apparently you can see his calendar and also more photos etc that they don't release publicly. I think I'm not that far gone yet... But I will try to buy the photobook. I've spent 1.5 years on this so there should be a keepsake? 2 years ago, I donated away all my books since I am e-reading now. I've kept only a few precious books and magazines so I should include CLOY. So I have SPACE! NO Chocolate is minus minus minus! 😂
  11. It's even reported on CNN 😂 https://edition.cnn.com/2021/08/27/health/hot-dog-could-shorten-life-trnd-wellness-scn/index.html
  12. Haha! I haven't spent anything but don't tell anyone. I haven't even joined Hyun Bin's fan club! Sadly CLOY has no DVD. Tried to buy the cloy photobook but it is out of stock everywhere. But now that you remind me...
  13. But I hear shopee has better prices. Dilemma!!! Loyal to Hyun Bin or to my wallet??? Beats me. But look at that peanut butter and jam sandwich! And for @TRaNz, if he eats a cheeseburger + french fries + banana pie, he net gains +6.2 minutes!!! And that banana pie is quite good! 😂
  14. I feel I should share this, in view of your eating habits 🤣
  15. @mademoiselle You mean you really like YY, from YAMG? 😲 Btw, what is the ending of Nevertheless? Did they stay together? Did Song Kang change? Btw, re Devil Judge, apparently a reviewer said the BL between Yo Han and Ga On was intended! They didn't show the more explicit scenes from the original script!!!
  16. Last one from the writer whom I feel has written quite good pieces for this drama ❤ "Sun Ah is who Yo Han would have been without Isaac." The reviewer also writes that the BL between Yo han and Ga On is intended! 😱 Apparently the more explicit queer scenes in the original script were cut. 6 Glorious Moments From Episodes 15-16 Of “The Devil Judge” That Brought Us To A Happy Ending Aug 28, 2021 by shalini We’re at the end! After eight weeks of madness, mayhem, and men who can’t seem to keep their eyes off each other, “The Devil Judge” ends the same way it began: with a bang. The show rises to meteoric heights of brilliant storytelling, packing so much into these last episodes. Alliances break and renew stronger than ever as Yo Han (Ji Sung) gears up for one last fight against the elite. But will he emerge unscathed when betrayal is so close? Warning: spoilers for episodes 15-16 below. 1. Judas is betrayed 2. The death of an icon 3. Ga On’s revenge 4. Yo Han’s revenge 5. Sun Ah’s fall 6. Queercoding: a bond that will never be broken What a phenomenal ride. Rarely has a show been so incisive, offering commentary on political, social, and gender issues. It merits its own thesis! Rather than sugarcoating the ending, this show keeps it gloriously realistic. The world did not get better because Yo Han blew up the elite, but that doesn’t mean this was all for nothing. So long as people like Ga On and Yo Han exist, who fight for what’s right by every means possible, the powerful won’t get away with everything. “The Devil Judge” says good and evil don’t exist. Rather, pure intentions and naivete can do more harm than good (Min Jung Ho), shattered dreams build shattered people (Sun Ah), the self-pity of the powerful is the only true evil there is (the elite), no wrong is too great to be corrected (Ga On and Jin Joo), and it is prejudice that creates devils (Yo Han). Beyond the philosophy, the characters were brilliant. Riveting, slimy, and amusing, all the elites felt fully-realized, from minor characters like the Minbo Group CEO to boss queen Cha Kyung Hee. Jin Joo deserves an ode to her name, having stuck by her values from beginning to end. Sun Ah is a work of art, a Shakespearean tragedy. But where this show shone from beginning to end was in the powerful, palpable romance between Yo Han and Ga On. A show like this does not make artistic decisions lightly, and there’s no other explanation for the numerous, numerous romantic tropes used. mymycorrhizae Even the ending mimics a classic melodrama where the hero and heroine reunite at an airport, and we got two full minutes of them just staring at each other with heart eyes. At its core, this was the story of a man steeped in darkness meeting a man bathed in light. They fought together, apart, and against each other, but still tried to die for each other. They grew, healed, built a family with their teen daughter, and invited cute, snazzily-dressed villainesses for dinner. And they’ll continue to build together and apart (because Yo Han apparently hops on flights back to Korea just to see Ga On). Thus, they walked in sunshine, happily ever after. Source
  17. When I first saw this, I thought, oh no, it will be a melodrama. I mean, going after deserters, they will surely have sad stories about why they deserted in the first place. But looking at the first teaser, it has some comedy between Jung Hae In and his partner. A bit like Rush Hour - between Jackie Chan and Chris Rock. It's good that it is only 6 episodes. I think it will have a bit of everything - sadness, bullying, comedy, detective work and hopefully a heartwarming ending. 6 episodes means the pace should move quite quickly. I've started the first - it showed An Joon Ho's (JHI) background and it is quite sad. Although he tries to obey the military rules (he repeated his name so many times I've memorised it lol), he will not blindly follow and is prepared to stand up for himself - not shown yet if it will be to his detriment, but so far, he's "rescued by the bell" the 3 times it happened. Looks interesting so far. I will continue.

  21. Lee Jung Jae And Park Hae Soo Are Two Sides Of The Same Coin In “Squid Game” Aug 21, 2021 by M. Kang Netflix’s upcoming series “Squid Game” has released new character stills! “Squid Game” is a new drama about a mysterious survival game with a reward of 45.6 billion won (about $40 million). Lee Jung Jae and Park Hae Soo star as two childhood friends who wind up joining the game—only to learn that there’s much more at stake than just the prize money. According to Lee Jung Jae, his character Ki Hoon is one he has “never experienced before.” That says a lot, given that Lee Jung Jae has a spectacular discography including “The Thieves,” “Assassination,” “The Face Reader,” “Deliver Us from Evil,” and more. Ki Hoon is someone who has experienced divorce, the failure of his business, debt, and gambling. He’s a character that doesn’t lose hope and humanity even in the midst of desperation. Lee Jung Jae commented further on the role by saying, “I tried to express the heavy sense of pain hidden beneath what seems to be a vibrant life on the surface.” Ki Hoon holds on to respect for others and hope while being swept off his feet by waves of emotions and fierce competition. He struggles through each round as he is forced to hurt others in order to survive. Director Hwang Dong Hyuk commented that he wanted to show “Lee Jung Jae’s personable image hidden within the actor’s sharp and fierce image.” Park Hae Soo, on the other hand, will play Sang Woo, who grew up with Ki Hoon in the same neighborhood as a brilliant kid that went on to attend Seoul National University. After falling into great debt after one wrong decision, he goes from smooth sailing through life to fighting tactfully and in cold blood in the games. His character falls on the opposite end of the spectrum from Lee Jung Jae’s Ki Hoon. As the story progresses, his ambitions start coming to the surface and the look in his eyes grow colder. His focus on winning is showcased in the still where he remains the only one standing among all the other contestants crouching down. Park Hae Soo’s efforts to show “the reasonable choices and decisions only Sang Woo can make” will make for a show with heightened tensions. Director Hwang Dong Hyuk commented, “Park Hae Soo’s face has an interesting charm that comes from falling neither on the side of good nor evil. I think he’ll be able to portray this character that evolves most dramatically better than anyone.” On the contrast between the two characters, the director continued to explain, “I wanted them to emulate fraternal twins that share the same root and memories. They are neighbors that grew up in the same neighborhood. They shared their most innocent times, went on to live their own lives, and reunite at an unexpected place. Will they trust one another, will they survive? You’ll fall deeper into their choices and lives as the story progresses.” Source
