Done with Ep29. It's been a while, that I'm live watching the episodes as it airs, after binge watching. 😁 Right, so the politicking and leg-pulling are now getting more serious, all wanting a piece of or to kill Xu Fengnian. Those who want him dead: Prime Minister - too self-righteous, sees himself as the hero of the world. Illegitimate Prince - wants to be XFN's brother-in-law, but also wants to kill him, and he is also the other person Prime Minister wants to be killed. One of the Arch Taoist Masters, colluding with the Prime Minister Retainer of Xuanyuan family's eldest son, just because. Head eunuch of the royal family, so that he can prop up the illegitimate prince to power.

Dec 22 - I would have said Long Ballad, but since starting Sword Snow Stride, I'm going with the later. 🙂 Dec 23 - Whichever that the viewer enjoyed watching nonstop. 😊 At present, this one for me:

Dec 19/20 - Right, how do I feel on this? My attention span per episode is 45min max in general. More than that, I'd drop it. I can only watch longer than an hour for a movie. I don't care on how much episodes if it is an original story developed as drama. However, if the drama is based on a novel, I'd want the drama to be as close as possible to the original story. If there are too many filler scenes that do nothing to the drama, then by all means, shorten it. If there were important scenes that were chucked to lessen the number of episodes, then I want more episodes. Lesser episodes - Summer's Desire More episodes - Novoland Pearl Eclipse (7 episodes! 😬) Advance posting of 21st: Dec 21 - my current watch I am the Years, You are the Star. There aren't many morbid themed dramas that can be considered fantasy, mystery, rom-com, and slice of life. I love watching it for the thought provoking views and conversations.

Started watching and at Ep3, enjoying it. For me, the drama got something new to offer: 1. A general's son who isn't trained in martial arts; 2. A general who appreciates and accepts his boy as he is and his brains; 3. Keeping and indulging a disobedient and hostile maid who hails from the foe's lair. This is a new take for keeping your enemies closer, LOL!

Oh well, it's Dilraba. Gorgeous face, but as of now, she only looks good when she's wearing clothes that cover her bony arms and protruding shoulders. I'm watching Deng Wei now in I am the Years, You are the Star. 🙂 It's still mostly a light-hearted drama as of Ep12, but a lot of what the drama is about

Started binge watching since I've 4 days weekend and now seen 25 eps. I love the OST and their dresses! Also, from what I've watched, I'm liking all 3 couples, and shipping the Emperor and his consort to get over what are making their relationship stumble. Maybe 5 or more eps today. 🙂
