  1. Hahahaha!! I might have to actually watch this full episode with English subs. @abs-oluteM KMJ is such a promoter of his dramas on instagram. He is his own biggest fan. Haha! It's strange to think that KMJ and AHS were actually training to debut as idols but went the acting route instead. We would not have known them because that industry is so saturated. I think AHS and HSK are confirmed to return? It's been a while since I last heard any updates on it. It's such a popular series and the cast have good chemistry so if it works in their schedules, I think most would return. @mademoiselle Hmm...maybe he is quiet because he doesn't have an agency anymore? LJW stopped posting on social media and went MIA when he was in between management companies.
  2. @mademoiselle Very true. I only adopted one Korean actor this year, Chae Jong Hyeop. The rest have been Chinese actors. OMG Woo Do Hwan!!!! I saw that he updated his instagram with a photo of his dog and himself. I assumed he must be on break because I don't think they are able to use social media otherwise. Maybe he can use this time to read the scripts for the upcoming dramas so we can get to see him during the first half of 2022?! Agreed, Yang Se Jong is so quiet. I'll pretend that it is because he is getting himself ready for a drama project. Haha! Hahaha!! I loved both seasons of Dr. Romantic. AHS did a wonderful job and I really liked his character. Sometimes, I'll rewatch his scenes with YSJ. Eun Tak and Ah Reum are so cute. I don't blame you for watching only their scenes. Even their BTS was super cute too. And agreed with @mademoiselle that the drama was the best when it's less focused on on politics. I want some of the season one cast to return too. Dong Joo is probably too busy changing his name to Jeong Won (Hospital Playlist) that he probably won't return to work at a small town hospital.
  3. @mademoiselle What?! In the world where there are hundreds of oppas, we've never had the same oppas before? Hwi had a loveline in My Country other than his bromance with Seon-ho? I have not watch Duel, should I?! Maybe I should because he's finishing his military service in November, right?
  4. I don't think WJ is faking his amnesia either. His memories are slowly coming back but they are fuzzy causing him to think he did things with HW when those were done with HJ. He is still drawn to HJ and find himself wanting to know more about her. When he was taking a photo with HJ during her signing event and ignored HW's phone call, I felt so bad for HW. She loved a man who did not love her back and went through years of blaming herself before she found out. I think WJ disappeared without a word too. What a cowardly and pathetic way out! They were together for so long and I don't think he respected (or even loved) her enough to tell her before he left. I understand that he was willing to "leave everyone and everything behind" for HJ, but I think you owe it to the other person to let them know. I can't believe we still have 10 more episodes left. What's going to happen in those episodes?!
  5. OMG! This thread moved so much since the last time I visited! I'll have to go back to read everyone's post. In the meantime, enjoy Moo Hak's facial expressions during this scene.
  6. The synopsis is like a combination of Goblin and Gumiho. Haha!
  7. WAH?! That doesn't look that good. How much are they selling it for? I had things to do today but I ended up spending a good couple of hours watching My Country again. I was reminded of how much I love these two by @mademoiselle (yes, both are oppas!). They are still fulfilling their military services so I won't get to see them anytime soon. @SilverMoonTea You're dramaless, so feel free to watch this tragic drama.
  8. @abs-oluteM @mademoiselle I forgot to come back and comment about the candies! I don't think I had a lot of the ones you posted, my grandma always bought us shrimp chips and white rabbit candies. Sometimes she would buy us those jellos in a tiny cup. @mademoiselle@SnowBlob I watched the first few minutes and it seems like it'll be a combination of a political and disaster drama -- preparing the country for a disaster (that was the impression I got).
  9. OMG!! That gif in the spoiler tag!!!! I miss this bromance. I think it's time I do a re-watch of my favorite scenes with them. When will they both be back in dramaland?
  10. I've seen a few of his past works (Brilliant Legacy, 49 Days, etc.). It's strange to watch him go from second lead to father. If you keep showing me photos of Hyun, I'm never going to adopt Rowoon. Haha! I loved reading everyone's posts but after watching Reflection and Dal-Li, I'm so worn out from all the angst. I'll respond tomorrow because everyone had good points and I need to talk about this evil grandpa too.
  11. When the little tassel thing on the purse came off as she was hitting her bag, my heart definitely skipped a beat.
  12. This is a random thought I'm having as I'm watching episode 12: Back when this drama was still casting, I wasn't excited when Lee Jae Wook's name was attached to it. I was not a big fan of Park Gyu Young (definitely like her way more now) and the thought of both of them pairing up together wasn't interesting to me. I was happy when LJW turned down the role of Moo Hak but not for the same reason I feel now. Back then, I was happy because I was not convinced this drama was going to be good. As I continue to watch this drama, I'm so happy that LJW did not accept because I don't think he would have brought to life the Moo Hak we've learned to love so much. With that said, I saw some of the spoilers for the ending of this episode and I'm so sad. Dal-Li, please don't do that to our Moo Hak!
  13. @abs-oluteM will probably know more but my understanding is that when he was filming his weekend drama, a series of things happened to him. He was planning on only taking a break for a month, but eventually found himself in a slump and that one month turned into a year. It sounded to me like he went through a period where he was depressed and this project means a lot to him -- allowing him to fall back in love with acting. I finished episode six and it was another intense one. I'll come back to post my thoughts because I'm a bit drained after watching this. HJ is a pretty shameless person. This scene...
  14. Fine dining for ants?! Interesting. It was a bunch of different types of fried insects. I distinctly remember the cricket, but nothing else since it's been so long. They didn't really taste like anything though. @JenL I have a couple of friends like that too -- great to confine in but not to travel with. Haha! @abs-oluteM Everyone is trying to capture your attention, but this is all you see -- your god tier oppa.
  15. It's the drama with Choi Woo Shik and Kim Dami, but @mademoiselle said it won't air until December. It's been a long time since Woo Shik has been in dramaland so I'm looking forward to this drama. GOD TIERRRRR?! Even PSJ is not god tier for me. ME TOO!! He was probably on screen for a combined total of 20 minutes or so but he won so many hearts. Agreed! When you do go with travel mates who are adventurous with their foods, it's good to order different kinds and try them. That's how I ended up eating insects in Thailand.
  16. Yes! I agreed! I traveled with someone who was extremely picky when it comes to eating. Since, I didn't care, I went along with her choices but after the third day of eating the same type of food, I was over it. Your friend who only wanted to eat ramen, it's such a full meal with lots of sodium. I don't know if I would be able to eat that everyday. Haha! Money is important too because it might restrict you from doing the things you want to especially if your friend doesn't want to do things separately. I think it's important to travel with someone whose personality matches yours. I'm an introvert and my friend and her husband are extroverts. We traveled to Las Vegas together for our friend's birthday and because they wanted to get married. They were so talkative and her husband has bad social boundaries (would do and say things inappropriately in public) that I was so drained by being with them. I needed a vacation from this vacation afterwards. Haha! Agreed! I have no idea how they do it so quickly too. I usually have to cut the clips I want before I can even start creating the gifs. By the time I finish one, all the pros have already created 10. Haha! I cannot believe that was the drama that got you into Jasper. Not yet. Hahahaha! This is my first Rowoon-lead drama that I'm watching. I am being sway by the second lead a lot, so he has not been adopted. I do love making gifs of him because his facial expressions are great and worth capturing. Haha! @mademoiselle Yes!! I've always liked Kim Min Jae and his acting but he's always been in this 'oppa but not really' tier for me. Moo Hak has definitely ignited my love. I told Tea and Abs, that Moo Hak is my favorite Korean male lead so far (at least in the second half of 2021). That is very true. I never watched EY, but it's hard to look pass LJW. And Nam Yoon Su is adorable as Hyun. We will have to see if Rowoon can capture my heart by the end of the series. He still has seven more weeks.

    Spooky Doings

ALL?! You truly are the MVP.
  18. I don't know who he is too. What previous dramas has he been in?
  19. Yes, I agreed! The chemistry is a bit different here and I love it! I love the way he looks at her, the way he gets jealous, just everything!! Did you only FF in episode 18? To be honest, I've FF a lot of their scenes, sometimes even all of their scenes in each episode. @SnT I hope so too! How torturous would it be for us to wait an entire week for the last two episode?!
  20. Cast Chae Jong Hyeop as Park Tae Joon Naturally wound up in the world of badminton because of his parents’ badminton equipment business. Although he had begun to see the sport as work, his passion for badminton is reignited due to a desire to impress a woman.
