“Parasite” star Lee Sun Kyun and Moon Chae Won will star in SBS’s upcoming drama series “Payback.”

 

The series tells of a revenge story revolving around a hedge fund manager who fights against unjust powers.

 

Lee portrays the protagonist Eun Yong, a hedge fund manager working overseas. Due to an incident, he returns to his hometown in Korea and starts his revenge, risking everything he has. 

 

Moon portrays Park Joon Kyung, an army major and elite judicial officer. 

 

Screenwriter Kim Won Suk behind KBS2's “Descendants of the Sun” (2016) and MBC's “Queen of the Classroom” (2013) and director Lee Won Tae behind 2019 film “The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil” took the helm of the series.

 

 

The series will begin airing on Jan. 6.
