  1. This thread is moving so fast and ya’ll have gotten me curious about this one. I fear my poor heart won’t be able to take a sad ending but the plot and the stills and teasers you guys have posted has me quite intrigued. The leads both look so good and look good together. Will check this one out when it airs. Please ping me when it becomes available so I remember!

  2. @mademoiselle hahaha yes!! I can’t get over how hard he’s yelling and banging on that door. He was so excited that he seems to have forgotten that Wontak lives there too! :lmao2:

and his face when Da-li finally tells Wontak they’re dating!! He’s totally GLOATING!! I wish he’d be given a chance to do the same thing when Tae-jin finds out they’re dating. Would love to see him crazy dance and be all annoying in front of Tae-jin.

but yes, the best is when he’s peppering her with kisses!!

I think the other one is slightly better than this. The actor and his manager jdrama. Tsumari Suki something. This one the guy kind of abusive in my opinion haha... the girl irritate me to no end 😅😂 She's being forced kissed and she said thank you. I'm quite disturbed by it. So... well...

Honestly, I am so close to giving up on this one. Sakisaka needs to be slapped. The man keeps changing his mind! One moment he's telling Naho that he would not date anyone, then the next minute he's kissing her and asking her to stay with him. Then he goes to see his brother and then comes back to Naho saying he's sorry and can't be with her because of Chiharu. SERIOUSLY?!

I'm also getting really frustrated with Naho. There's a limit to how much you tolerate when it comes to a man. And I honestly don't even know what she sees in Sakisaka. It's not like he's done much to make him special to her.

And with the whole Chiharu situation, I don't understand why Sakisaka can't just tell his brother the truth. The woman wasn't a saint and she did make a mistake. I really don't understand Sakisaka's obsession with her.

That's why Chakhee said about what Mohawk did is a myth because it's not an easy thing to get into the rich world without relying on a family name or school.. MH represents that someone can be whatever they want if they focus on doing what they love and what they are good at. He sets an example for people who can do things and create them if they trust themselves, such as Dali, Chakhee, his brother, and others...

Sadly, what Chak-hee said is true, it is very hard for someone to become rich and successful without connections or opportunities but what Moo-Hak is showing us is that it isn't entirely impossible either. For me, Moo-Hak's point isn't so much about the possibility of becoming successful or achieving wealth based on hard work, but rather more about being true to one's self. One need not and should not compromise values to attain success/wealth. He is showing that one can be considered successful if he truly enjoys what he does and is able to stick by his principles and values. This is why he responded to Tae Jin's insults the way he did saying "It is good to be told that I am good at the business I am engaged in" even if to someone like Tae Jin, his business was considered lowly. To Moo-hak, he could not be offended because he knows whatever success he's achieved, he did it purely out of his own hard work and determination, without compromising or selling himself out. And he loves what he does for a living and takes pride in it.

I also appreciated the conversation he had with Da-li's father. He had been told that you could only be counted within the "rich" circles if you were invited to exclusive events. Despite the success Moo-hak has achieved, and despite him having accumulated money because of his business, he isn't interested in flaunting it around like his stepmother for example. And he made this clear in his conversation with Da-Li's father. He had decided to lend money not to "buy his way" into the so-called inner circles of the rich, but simply because his brother had asked. This tells me that Moo-Hak's love for money isn't because he's greedy. Rather, it represents the hard work he's put into it and that is why he is careful with how he spends it.

I thought it was interesting that both Da-li and her father saw through Moo-Hak. They were both able to see his character and appreciate him for it.

So will we get the last 2 episodes tonight?

Yes! I just finished watching the last 2 episodes. :wow:

I love that in the end, it was Xi Xi who eventually was of help to Sichen. Xi Wei had told him that in his time of need, Xi Xi would not be of use other than perhaps cooking for him or comforting him. But as it turned out, it was Xi Xi who was able to create opportunities for Si Chen to be able to speak with the people he needed to and it was also Xi Xi who convinced Alex.

I also appreciated Sichen's response to Xi Wei saying that even if Xi Xi couldn't cook or do anything for him, he would do it for her and be happy to do it because that is what loving someone means. To Xi Wei, it was about gains and losses and who was worthy of whom but for Si Chen, it wasn't about that. It was about doing what you can for the person you love without expecting anything in return.

It was really sweet how both Sichen and Xi Xi were planning their own secret proposal for each other.

The only 2 things that could've made the ending better - I had hoped for a harsher ending for Xi Wei just because of how vile she has been through the entire thing. And I would have also loved to see Sichen and Xi Xi have a baby or see their family life after marriage.

PS. Mo Xin was annoyingly present through the entire thing and am honestly surprised he didn't make an appearance in the last 2 episodes. Not that I mind..just an observation.

  6. Gah!!!! EPISODE 14!!! It delivered and MORE!! :PsyWhat:

I honestly did not expect Da-li’s response to Moo-Hak’s declaration of love. I really thought she was going to turn him down to protect him and when instead she told him she loved him too, I SCREAMED! I am so happy that Da-li finally decided to be with him.

And my ghad!!! The scene of them passionately kissing as they make their way to the bed was all sorts of hot, funny and sweet at the same time. Moo-hak saying “my back…” when he bumps against the table and the repeated times Da-li pulls him down as he’s trying to undress was EPIC! I love that their personalities still shone through even with their bed scene.

and how cute is Moo-hak gushing to himself! I love that he cannot contain his giddiness. He didn’t even try to hide it in front of his employees. And their reaction as they watched him on the phone with Da-li! :lmao2:

And can we also take a moment to appreciate the scene with Wontak?! The way Moo-hak banged on that door yelling “Jagiya! Jagiya!” I DIED! He’s seriously like a little child finding himself inside a toy store for the first time. His excitement was palpable.

And when Da-li tells Wontak they are dating, his reaction!:lmao2:

“do you even have anything to talk about?” HAHAHAHA!

I love that Da-li says they click and she finds Moo-hak funny. This is why I love them together. Da-li sees Moo-Hak for who he is and loves him just the way he is. Moo-Hak may be the last thing people would expect for Da-li to end up with but his sincerity is exactly what she needs.

I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THEM! I would even love to see more of Won-Moo-Da together. The scenes of the three of them make me laugh so hard!

As for Tae-Jin (ugh honestly I didn’t even want to write about him in this post bec he’s so vile), I am glad that Da-li is finally on to him being the bad guy behind all of this. I sure hope that Ki-chul steps up and exposes him.

  7. This looks interesting. I love fake marriages turned real stories and I am a fan of Xu Kai so I’ll be checking this one out when it airs. I loved Yang Mi in Eternal Love but haven’t really seen any of her other works. My only concern is that Yang Mi looks older than Xu Kai and I don’t know how that’s going to look onscreen.

  8. Just finished watching ep 8 and GAAHHH! I can't believe Ji-Woon kissed Hwi/Dam-i!!!! :wow2:

Rowoon is doing such an amazing job here as Ji-Woon - his micro-expressions and his eyes! His eyes say so much every time he's around Hwi/Dam-i.

I worry about the next episode with Hwi/Dam-i getting married. How will this impact Ji-Woon, Hyun and Hwi/Dam-i? As if it's not already complicated enough.

It was so satisfying to see Hwi/Dam-i punch the Ming Eunuch. He totally deserved it for being such a jerk. I love that Hwi/Dam-i is so protective of the people around her - even when it came to Ga-On. Speaking of which, it looks like my suspicions were right in that Ga-on is related to Hwi's tutor who was executed in the beginning. I wonder how he truly feels about Hwi/Dam-i. I am starting to really like him.

I am pairing her with the lawyer

I am hoping that if she does return, that she’ll be a force for good rather than another obstacle for DD and YG.

    Who is the lawyer?

I recently watched She would Never Know and I really liked her character there. I’m hoping she’ll be a good character in this one too.

Hahaha! That's how I feel about C-Dramaland right now in general. Are you guys finding anything worth watching because I'm not?

Yeah there's really nothing exciting in C Drama land right now which is why I'm watching 2 dramas from the "Other Dramas" category and potentially starting another one there that Silvermoon recommended.

Nice call! I think it's hilarious that the father's sister likes DB, probably because he's a good looking "son" of her brother. I also wonder whether her sister, YG's friend, is coming back to this drama?

It also doesn’t look like DD’s father’s sister knows yet that DD is the tutor for YG. This certainly complicates things for her because she knows her sister likes YG and so does Sara who is also close to her. I wonder who she will eventually support. Lol

The part where Sara reprimands Se Chan was so frustrating to watch but I’m glad Se Chan was smart enough to handle the situation. I love that he chose to lie to protect both DD and his grandma but still punished his grandma to deter her from doing the same thing later on.

Poor DD is going to have to go through a lot in this household but thankfully she now has her mother protecting her. And because YG knows  her better, hopefully he won’t be so quick to judge her in the future and will prove to be comforting shoulder for her to lean on. I really liked the part when he looked for her to comfort her and even gave her a bike ride to make her feel better.

I rarely watch dramas where the leads kiss as much as this. The PDA here is no joke and it is so natural that I think I would love to see them work together again

Yes! It’s so rare to see this much kissing and PDA especially in a C drama. Not only that, but they look so natural together that I can no longer distinguish the line between acting and realism. Lol

@abs-oluteM doesn’t it remind you of the chemistry between Johnny and Dilreba in Love Designer? They were also so believable in that one.

I am so glad that both leads are choosing to stay together despite everything. No noble idiocy and no chances for the second leads to even get close.

  13. Shirtless Orad is definitely a feast for the eyes  excuse me while I replay this scene over and over and over again. And the look he gives her when she looks at him. :wow2:

So it looks like Toem (Alice) likes Orad and she’s upset with him for loving someone else? It seems to me she’s wanting Kawas to choose for themselves instead of being obedient to Kakarayan. I am still unclear to what she’s after.

As for Orad, why doesn’t he just tell Tsen Ti that he likes her? Whenever I see flashbacks of their time together, I can’t help but feel sad that Tsen Ti has does not remember them as well as he does. He was so sweet to her!

And how adorable that he always went above and beyond for her. Even going as far as giving her the autographed photo of Greg Hsu!

  14. Okay so it looks like Sakisaka is finally opening up to Naho and I am so glad they are finally together. I have to say though that the story telling for this drama at times feels disjointed. Sakisaka goes from telling his friend that he can’t see himself being happy with anyone and then the next thing you see is him kissing Naho and then they’re sitting at the field together and him asking her to stay with him. I wish the drama did a better job of showing us the progression of growth with Sakisaka.

at times I also feel frustrated with Naho because she seems to blindly like Sakisaka with no explanation for why she likes him so much despite everything.
