  2. Episode 2 was really boring. Episode 3 I had a bit of laughs because I actually thought why don't they just put in the mouth & melt the malt away and then Lee Jung Jae really started licking it. xD Not liking the bloodshed bit. I hope it is explained in the end the reason behind organising such games. To be honest, I don't understand why these people would even believe they are able to get to the end and win those money. Just from the way they are treated, they are already in disadvantage. Understand they want to gamble a chance but haven't we learnt enough that the chances of losing is always higher than winning? And then there's the lack of trust. I see no guarantee this "higher up" person will indeed give away the prize, not when I've a room full of men with guns pointing at me.
  3. @Chocolate Ok, I'm not reading any actually. Not yet anyway. I'm just curious whether it's yay or nay because I've come across praises as well as critcisms. Yeah try the J-version. I believe that one is closer to the original manga and more focus on the games/puzzles.
  4. @Chocolate I'm still watching episode 1. Need to nap just now then cook so the progress is slow. I am just at the bit they are waiting to play the first game. Liar Game I couldn't watch the K-version. The Liar Game I was preferring to is the J-drama version. That's the original ^ ^ And you are right, I couldn't watch Lee Sang Yoon because I just couldn't see him as my genius Shinichi Akiyama played by Matsuda Shota. Liar Game J-version is very old and if you are going to check it out, watch S1 and 2. The movie and the rest of the seasons were meh. I don't think I watch S3 anymore because Liar Game isn't Liar Game without both the ML and FL. Are there many J-dramas on Netflix in SG? Over here there are more Koreans vs Chinese, Japanese or Taiwanese.
  5. Haha @abs-oluteM keep the expectation low. Otherwise the disappointment might be greater. Of course I hope not.
  6. @SilverMoonTea Yaaaaa~ what's wrong with Taekie!? All Ssangmundong's kiddos are adorbs. @bairama I think you should request the badge coz if @SilverMoonTea request it, it might bankrupt the rest of us. @ssteph Yep, I saw the inflation too. Were you going to buy it?
  7. @abs-oluteM I got my days mixed up so I was waiting for spoilers last night. xD ... and then they got interrupted by Ga On
  8. That cell needs to send to jail (like Yumi's fashion cell). HAHA.
  9. Glad to hear you are OK @SnowBlob. I'm sure all of us are. I was super blur and still wondering what that was - it's the "Is that... is that not...?" and obviously I couldn't go anywhere immediately due to the circumstances. I wouldn't run out of the house since "last minute" googling this is advising not to go outdoor. I'd be scared of fallen trees and power poles etc.
  10. @abs-oluteM If you are in a HIGH-RISE BUILDING, and not near a desk or table, move against an interior wall and protect your head with your arms. Stay indoors. Glass windows can dislodge during the quake and sail for hundreds of feet. also... Stay inside until the shaking stops and it is safe to go outside. Do not exit a building during the shaking. Research has shown that most injuries occur when people inside buildings attempt to move to a different location inside the building or try to leave.
  11. I think you can't go anywhere but under a solid strong table or at a structure that you know it is strong to protect you.
  12. @SilverMoonTea Me too! I want him to have his own cells too but I don't think he will. @Tofu @SilverMoonTea I couldn't finish the quiz because a lot of the questions are "guessing" and I got stuck at what music to listen - knows none of it. So I gave up. I decided I'll just have Kim Seon Ho.
  13. @abs-oluteM Yes, it seems like Melbournians are freaking out. I'm guessing the ones near the epicenter experienced a stronger shake than those further away. The news mentioned aftershock but I didn't feel that one at all after the main one. Oh dear, you were showering, that's even worse if needs to run. I was, don't laugh, in the bathroom too this morning. That's why I could only stay put (embarrassed).
  14. LOL, I've to say that was exactly my reaction to the earthquake having never experienced one. All the ????? and uncertainty. 😅
  15. @TRaNz I just realise!! One more work day and we have Friday off! (this really cheers me up a bit!). I want to snooze too now. Been sitting at the desk since 8 am. The weather is bad so don't even want to head out for a walk. @Chocolate @TRaNz I was born in a country with no tectonic plates underneath so half of my life I had no experience of earthquake. We came across one when I was in Taiwan but we were on ground floor at a cafe and didn't feel anything however I was told on high rise apartment, it was moving like an "S". I was also lucky enough not to experience any disasters when I was in Japan or Korea (*touch wood). Therefore this one is considered the strongest I've ever felt. Melbourne had a couple before this between 2000 - 2020, none as long like today. I Google, this is what we should do: What to Do During an Earthquake Stay calm! If you're indoors, stay inside. If you're outside, stay outside. If you're indoors, stand against a wall near the center of the building, stand in a doorway, or crawl under heavy furniture (a desk or table). Stay away from windows and outside doors. If you're outdoors, stay in the open away from power lines or anything that might fall. Stay away from buildings (stuff might fall off the building or the building could fall on you). Don't use matches, candles, or any flame. Broken gas lines and fire don't mix. If you're in a car, stop the car and stay inside the car until the earthquake stops. Don't use elevators (they may shut down). The epicentre is Northeast, maybe you will feel it stronger @TRaNz Very rare indeed so the buildings and houses are definitely not fool proof.
  16. No idea, @Chocolate. I'm not very experience with this natural disaster at all. I suppose going out also won't be the best solution if it is a high magnitude ones coz of the trees around us. A house that is built to sustain earthquake might actually be more safe than being out (?) however I doubt the houses here are earthquake proof.
  17. @TRaNz Why are you up so late? I was already awake for work. But I'm all distracted because of it. McDonalds - LOL, last supper kind of feeling eh? I had it last night. Hadn't have it for quite a while.
  18. @TRaNz We didn't run out of the house. It was over by the time I was able to react properly. Nothing was damaged so I was just waiting for it to pass and then confirm I just experienced an earthquake (inexperience person talking here). True, high rise apartments would feel it stronger as they are not near the ground. *Note to self: Only live on the ground floor.
  19. @TRaNz @SnowBlob @JenL!!! Did you guys feel the shake? I think we just experience an earthquake! Edit: Oh yeah, confirmed. Preliminary magnitude is 5.3
