  2. I think I'm the same with all of you where I liked Wi Ha Joon/Joon Ho's storyline more. There's more thrills in watching him "mole" his way through without getting noticed. I do believe Hyung let him live (if he can) by shooting him on his shoulder. Again, the highlights for me are definitely both GY and LBH 😂 I do like that Wi Ha Joon's English is pretty fluent too. Yeah, it wasn't impressive and lacking in creativity (since this has already been explored).
  3. @bairama That's a bit late. Hahaha! Nonetheless, yes, it was a good show apart from the mother's bit. So who is going to accept the award?
  4. One of the scenes I rewatched quite a lot is this ^ ^ I love the part where Yu Tu caresses her hair and then stopped because he fell asleep. I just thought this whole scene is sweet and natural.
  5. @Chocolate I'm done. The best thing that came out of it is how suave Gong Yoo is. Didn't expect to see him again in the last episode and I'm thankful he cleaned my eyes off of Ki Hoon's hideous hairstyle. Another goodness I do like is Lee Byung Hun speaking clear, eloquent English. Wish they explored his character more than having to watch 465 people fighting each other. All that talk about fairness in the game, and they switch off the lights so that No.12 can't see the difference in the glass. The show is like Hunger Game where the rich was bored so they create this game to have fun. Overall I don't enjoy it. It got pretty predictable towards the end and boring too by the time they played the Squid game. I was also very sure Ki Hoon will win. BTW, I'm wondering if a person ran REALLY quick across the glass bridge, would this person had survived? I guess I'll never know since the first person to go is a man. I also thought it was super pointless to blow all the glasses and caused injury to the survivor. I'm now 100% sure I prefer watching shows where the players use their wits rather than violence.
  6. E4 - killing each other as game?!!! THAT'S BRUTAL!!! Oh. Yes. There are drawings on the wall @Chocolate It's not very prominent yet because of the beds
  7. I think it's the other way round. He saw that mystery man kill Dali's dad.
  8. You know, she's gonna be soooooooooooooo tiny beside Rowoon! I guess that's the effect the show wants, for Ji Woon to think "Oh this chona is tiny, cute, adorable and vulnerable! Wait, why am feeling this way." I like him more as an actor too although I do really love watching him dance, especially before his back injury. He dances so well and so much force.
  9. Spotted Filming Not sure if the one sitting down is Eun Bin ...? Palace drama's relationships are always complicated xD Ji Woon will win because he is her first love hehehe
  10. @Alice Wonderland Your question before about whether Eun Bin is married. Yes, she is. Concubine #1 and soon-to-be Concubine #2
  11. Which part did you LOL @abs-oluteM? Park Gyu Young's English is not bad although I must admit at some point I still needed subtitles to assist me in figuring out what word she said due to the pronunciation. The lady Director's English was much clearer in comparison (obviously) word-for-word. I thought they were going to start off hating each other. Turns out that isn't the case at all! They have good impression of one another. Right now I'm more curious with Moo Hak's family background and his relationship with this non-blooded brother (?). Is it because his father remarried a woman who brought her own child? And then there's Dali's father and mystery man who called her father Uncle. Who is that? P.S. I like that Moo Hak can cook ^ ^ P.S #2 Ok, I'm asking all this questions because I've purposely not read the any spoilers/news articles.
  12. There's no such thing as no.1 oppa. Imma not a one man's woman *hint* *wink* @Tofu YSJ is taking a backseat while he is away. He's a special one though, an actor I had followed since debut! Never had I been able to for any adopted Oppa! I've been wanting to change ID name but just can't find one that no one has taken! I'm just not suitable to tie myself to one Oppa's ID neh. That one was created when I was in love with Sejong and thought I might be able to dedicate posting just all about him. Truth has proven once again I'm not pure & devoted to one Oppa (LOL @SilverMoonTea @abs-oluteM). @SilverMoonTea He's in the army, not intentionally MIA. He'll be released from "jail" soon! November!!!
  13. No no it's OK. I will just use my imagination @bairama I actually find it weird when fans do that
  14. I think I need to stop fooling around in JH various threads and go watch this drama
  15. @abs-oluteM @SilverMoonTea @bairama @Chocolate @JenL @Tofu I'm so tickled by the thought of my own caption "The emperor and her concubine" Ahhhh Rowoon, my concubine
  16. 2021.09.23 SF9’s Rowoon And Park Eun Bin’s Historical Drama “The King’s Affection” Reveals Group Poster KBS’s upcoming drama “The King’s Affection” has unveiled a new poster! Based on the manhwa (Korean comic) of the same name, “The King’s Affection” will tell the story of a pair of royal twins, one male and one female. Although the sister is initially abandoned for being female, she later disguises herself as a man to become the crown prince when her brother dies. Park Eun Bin will star in the drama as Lee Hwi, the crown prince with a shocking secret, while SF9’s Rowoon will star as male lead Jung Ji Woon, who is Lee Hwi’s teacher. In the group poster, the caption reads, “Feelings that one shouldn’t carelessly have,” hinting the drama will depict forbidden romance. Lee Hwi exudes the dignity of a monarch as she sits in the center of the group, and she stares solemnly ahead with slightly tense eyes. Beside her is Jung Ji Woon, someone who has to bear the burden of sharing her secret and fate. Lee Hyun (Nam Yoon Su), a member of the royal family, sits to the right of Lee Hwi with a warm smile, and he harbors secret feelings for someone. It will be intriguing to watch his mysterious romance unfold. As Lee Hwi’s faithful and dependable bodyguard, Kim Ga On (VICTON’s Byungchan) sits near her with a stolid look on his face. Next to Jung Ji Woon is Shin So Eun (Bae Yoon Kyung), the only child of a high-profile family. She is resourceful, knowing how to turn danger into an opportunity and get everything she wants. Noh Ha Kyung (DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon) shows her grace and beauty as the crown prince’s wife. The drama’s production team shared, “The six actors, who emit refreshing energy, will depict beautiful and loving moments with various stories. On October 11, viewers will be able to see a drama that blows affection to their hearts.” “The King’s Affection” will premiere on October 11 at 9:30 p.m. KST. source
  17. Kim Min Jae Experiences A Range Of Emotions In “Dali And Cocky Prince” KBS’s “Dali and Cocky Prince” has revealed new stills of Kim Min Jae in character! “Dali and Cocky Prince” stars Kim Min Jae as Jin Mu Hak, a man who lacks schooling and book smarts but is extremely resourceful and talented at making a living, and Park Gyu Young as Kim Dal Li, a woman who is intellectually polished and comes from an elite background but doesn’t know how to take care of herself. Spoilers Previously on the first episode of “Dali and Cocky Prince,” Jin Mu Hak, who only thinks about money and pigs, fatefully came across Kim Dal Li on his business trip to the Netherlands. He ended up spending the night in her room, and while taking a shower, there was a power outage that caused him to leave the bathroom in just a towel. The episode ended with Jin Mu Hak falling right on top of a shocked Kim Dal Li. The new stills tease the aftermath of his “exciting” business trip. He is wearing silk pajamas, and there is a patch on his forehead. In one photo, he covers his mouth in shock, and in another photo, he has a blanket wrapped tightly around him as his expression is pinched with anger. Furthermore, his secretary Yeo Mi Ri (Hwang Bo Ra) shows up at his house and explains something to him that causes his eyes to round with surprise. The drama’s production team commented, “After Jin Mu Hak experiences dream-like events with Kim Da Li in the Netherlands, he will experience a big change in his life. Please tune in to episode 2 that airs today in order to find out if the reason he skipped work and is struggling at home is because of her.” The next episode of “Dali and Cocky Prince” will air on September 23 at 9:30 p.m. KST. source
