    Episode 8 I laughed a little internally when it was revealed Cheon Ki will spend her day with Ha Ram and the night with Yang Myung. LOL. Is it right for me to think the day is longer than the night since after all, Cheon Ki needs to sleep! Hmph. How could they make her work day and night. If it is that urgent, just focus on the royal potrait instead (yes yes, I know they don't want others to be suspicious but still!). It didn't even seem like she was fed dinner! I got my feels back a little when Juhyang cut Ha Ram's neck and Ha Ram looks pissed. SO HOT there, angry Ha Ram! Hahaha! It was nice Ha Ram and Cheon Ki spent more time together. Although I still want to diss the writing a bit on the part Ha Ram find her in the rain, admitted he's the boy and explained what happened only to tell her to pretend she doesn't know him again. If that's what he wants (which he doesn't) then don't tell her anything at all. How to pretend not knowing him after telling her all that. This boy - keeps going back & forth of his words and /slap himself. LOL. The ending - I like the cliffhanger, I do because it's about time the fantasy bit comes back. I miss it. I'm guessing the Mountain Spirit might help suppress Ma Wang. How did she follow them there? Ha Ram can't even touch the tiger painting at his house. Lastly, whoever is behind Cheon Ki's paintings, I love it. These paintings I can appreciate way better than the ones I'm seeing in Dali & Gamjatang or the modern arts.

And you ARE the kind like that acquaintance I mention. Hahahaha! Love the flowers for decor. I like looking at it. Feel free to post more. You are right, looks like only you and Dhakra are the domestic ones, hahaha. I am OK with baking, again, only bake if it looks easy but I do have this tendency in me where I might go crazy baking just to muster the skills and then once I got it I'd stop - like macarons. I don't bake macarons anymore after I move house - the oven in current house is crap. No time to bake or cook anyway - Oppa watching has taken over my spare time.

    @bairama You are so pro. Even made sure it looks presentable! I know an acquaintance who post food pics of her own cooking with gorgeous plating - details down to the plates/bowls used and the table cloth (maybe). Her pictures are also very professional with good lightings and position. Hahaha. Golly, do you mean Siu Mai? The steamed prawn dumplings we have at Yumcha? I have two rendang I can take away here.     Actually maybe this would save your life too. We called it ABC soup. ABC soup - My style Ingredients: Pork bones Ginger Carrots Onions (white) Tomatoes Water Pepper Salt Fill the pot with water When water boils, add pork bones and ginger Chop carrots, onions and tomatoes to sizes you like Add carrots and onions first Add tomatoes last Continue to boil Season with salt and pepper Voila! Yum yum. Oh, @Tofu is optional You Tube has it too!

    @Chocolate Squid Game didn't give me the thrill and suspense I had anticipated. For Sweet Home, I was very intrigued with the depiction of the monsters and the type of monsters the humans become. Also I don't know how the story would go or end. I was even skeptical, thinking it's just another monster/action shows, only this time it's made by Koreans. And I was surprised the story changed to focus on the characters and their back-stories. On an emotional level, I really love that and it has depth & meanings as it explores human nature, as well as make you imagine a world where we, the humans, could become - a new human species. It's like X-Men but not really. Whereas Squid Game, it didn't make me feel that way. The foreign actors' acting didn't bother me so much. At the time I thought at least that one speaking Mandarin was quite accurate. But yes, good thing we couldn't see their faces, especially the one who stripped himself down to nothing.

    @abs-oluteM Interesting! I've never made pizza - traditional or cheat ways. Just another dish I feel there's too much work and ingredients and it's easy to order in pizza here. On my to-do list, I'm still aiming to tackle making spring onion pancakes. I've got the YouTube recipes saved already but just never muster the mood to do it (what with kdramas watching schedule + playing here). I need to learn to make a good dough first. I can roll dumpling skin, wrap dumplings and prepare the fillings except making the dough. LOL.

    @SilverMoonTea Thank you. Thank god there aren't that many ingredients xDDDD Hahahahaha why not. If it is the actual red bean soup for dessert is OK too! LOLLLLLL. Lucky you then BUT you should always try to watch because later you marry, how? Don't forget there's a saying the way to a man's heart is through his tummy. LOL This I don't mean you are to become a full time housewife.

    I have a friend asking me if I had seen Squid Game because she kept seeing articles about it (she doesn't watch Korean dramas. I've been nagging her to watch Sweet Home). @Chocolate BWAHAHAHAHA I honestly thought he was gonna do it! I'm still annoyed it ended with some rich foreigners behind all this. I wish it was something more significant or important or meaningful

    Hahahaha seems like only you @bairama. All of us seem to do it for survival only (and because we prefer home-cooked food). I am the same too and yes, doing dishes is a pain that is why I love my dish washer. I also hate cooking food that requires a lot of work and ingredients! So I would never make rendang. A colleague did it few months ago and she showed me all the ingredients and I was like, "Nah. I'll just take away rendang. Thank you." Making dumplings is a lot of work too but I like that I can freeze them and eat them later. xD And like @Chocolate I also thought red bean soup = dessert. Turns out it is THAT red bean. I don't think we called that red bean in English. I think it's Kidney beans. My mum cooked soup using that too - it is delicious indeed. I should remember next time to cook that. @SilverMoonTea Gimme that recipes, please. @bairama I think my brother can cook more varieties than me (he's fussy eater too). So are my sisters. Eldest sister attended cooking class too, I was so surprised. I guess she started a family and has a kiddo to feed so she did that. Never actually asked if she likes cooking. NO WAY. I'm sure you can cook more than that! I never had to cook until I lived alone (except instant noodle or fried eggs). And I just somehow winged it when I had to cook proper meals for myself via memory of what I saw my mother did.
