    I have only had the chance to watch ep.16 and 17 today... Gah, this drama is even more tear-jerking than Red Sleeve Cuff... So we're going the noble idiocy way. But really, I don't know how they can ever be together unless Dam is no longer the King...?? On to ep.18 now, hopefully a little bit happier than 17. Appreciate JW's father who helped them and tried to think of a way out. It's sad watching his scenes with Guard Yoon dying. He is definitely written on the way of redemption. Unfortunately, I think he's gonna lose his life for the sake of his son. I hope not. I don't want anyone to die. I'm kinda scared for Hyun as well... he also might die at the hand of his own brother, or the evil grandfather of Dam. Edit after ep.18.... I spoke a little too soon it seems. Looks like Hyun will really die in the next preview. Unexpectedly, seems like Court Lady Kim and Eunuch Hong will also die too?? Then JW's father is also being restrained by evil grandfather's people, and JW captured too? O gosh... We should feed grandpa and Hyun's brother to the zombies.

    This part about writing off the van as accident. It wasn't clear, was it? That the incident was already written off as accident but he still asked from KHJ the list. Or that he has received the list from KHJ and eventually reported it as accident. I actually thought that it was the former, that it was already reported as accident, but he still asked for further information from KHJ, suspecting something and trying to investigate on his own.

    Did they hear him? I thought all they heard was static. Or maybe it’s us having watched too many crime dramas... 🤔 I can understand in pain one tends to find someone else to blame. HJ is a convenient person to blame, because I think YG sort of knew he would understand her...? I am watching her in Gentleman & Young Lady, a weekender. Not a likable person. Pretty sure she won’t die at the end 🤣 Only good people dies while those evil irritating ones don’t die so easily. That thought about LYS also crossed my mind. Remember the rule that no body found/seen means no confirmed death?

    I too believe he is not the man we’re looking for. I still think it is Kim Sol. Sadly KHJ shared too much too openly with him when he wasn’t even sure yet who the man he was actually looking for. He trusted Kim Sol just because they have had a few more interactions compared to Officer Kim. We still have 2 episodes but KHJ is already flatlining... I don’t know how to feel about that 😔

    I had a lot of good laughs watching ep.21-22. - Enjoy seeing Sara’s frustrations because of YG’s attitude and behavior 🤣 I think she won’t be able to stand it for long and might give up sooner than we thought. The way he pushed her out the cab 🤣 - Love seeing how YG is constantly on DD’s trail because he is drawn to her, and the jealous mode is on. He cannot stop thinking of her. DD is not responding of course because she thought he was a two-timer, but YG just go with his heart, although sometimes still falls into manipulation of the witches. - The writer has created a way to insert Gun into Sara’s life. He is now the driver of the company, and substituting the injured family driver for 2 weeks. He and Sara will meet next week and he will know the person Sara is supposedly going to marry is YG. There’s an unexpected bromance developing between YG and Gun as well. - I love the amnesiac YG because he is more candid and compassionate. Not the rigid and awkward person we saw earlier. He was able to evaluate himself too about how lacking he’s been as a father to his children. - Skipped through DB-SR arc. Foolish shallow people. Can’t believe I once was rooting for them to be together. It will take some big transformation/events before I can root for them again. - Anna Kim trying to get SC to go with her and DD to the US?? Hm, not sure how to feel about that and who to root for, especially if she is not coming clean with her real identity yet. YS being an irritable person doesn’t help either. But, I think at the end of the day, SC will choose YS over AK no matter what. That’s a 27 years of marriage there, compared to the x-years he was with AK before she left. And it seems that a serious sickness is being written for AK? That will probably serve as the plot to reveal her identity?

    I wonder if we’ll really get the happiness at the end of this drama. I only noticed now that the Korean drama title logo is kinda fading away at the end...

    Yes, I noticed the “again” he said in his prayer. I tried to recall too, who that person is, but to no avail. Have we seen him before...? And was the gift directed to GW, or to the whole group, knowing they may show up/gather there?

    Hmm, can’t say I enjoyed ep.14. It’s a bit slow and definitely not helping with that cliffhanger of KHJ’s current condition 😓. I too find it difficult to accept the logic that KHJ was able to suddenly (out of desperation) pick up the walkie-talkie with his hands and talk to SYG. I know this is a supernatural genre after all, logic can be thrown out the window, but the show can still go the way of him using sticks and stones to make the walkie works...?

    Arggh!! What’s with the ending there?! I thought police hyung is dead but in preview he is still alive, only to be suffocated by 601? What’s this guy’s deal killing off people? And Andrew is our number one enemy? Why is he going around killing people just so that YH and SB will switch on the generator? Poor 1501 and cleaning lady, both harmless people. HTS is planning to shoot YH?? And we have to wait a week to find out?? Aiiishh....

    I cried so much this episode because of JGY... He can’t be the mystery guy. Crossed him out already. What happened to LYS was simply an accident. Very tempted to blame the lottery girl, but I guess it also wasn’t her fault? 2019 was indeed the summer with many sad things.

    I haven’t watched many of their dramas. GHJ other works that I have watched was an oldies What’s Up Fox, but people praised her role in Dear My Friends, which I have started quite a while back but have not continued yet. SHB has a breakout role in Hospital Playlist series. I have watched her in Confession but nothing spectacular about her role there. She also has cameo in Just Between Lovers (aka Rain Or Shine) a drama that I really love as well. One of the works she’s been praised for is Mistress. But I haven’t watched that one. Thanks for sharing this perspective. I am now able to look at that scene with a different lens.

    Yes, yes, I would be very disappointed in him if he even entertain a sliver of feelings for Kana. Because that means his love for his dear SIL was also just superficial.

    Oh noo.... YH might be infected But I also immediately thought of @Dhakra when the supermarket girl turned.... He must be so upset now. I was so shocked too. That was so unexpected. Loving the turns and developments in this episode. There are missing residents whom we don't know how they are now. The 301 couple, the cleaning lady. Did 601 purposely make 1201 husband jumped to death? Urgh, this piece of trash! Loving the action scene when SB and YH were fighting 1201 husband. This one particular move by YH sent me wow-ing... Then there is the disgusting cheating couple, urgh... Even in times of crisis, they can still find time to entertain their lust.

    I really think that this scene was very well done. Still get lots of emotions watching the whole thing even now. Great-awesome acting from GHJ and KJY. The shock, the pain, the despair... Glad that they're sharing the BTS of this scene. One thing I noticed from all the BTSes, GHJ is very active in "directing" the scenes and her co-stars as well

    Besides being moved and swooning by what San asked Deok Im, I laughed so much at the beginning of ep.7... Why did we ever thought this drama is going to be a melo? It won't suddenly change direction, will it? It won't, right? I hope they keep the same tone till the end. I won't mind a little bit of angst, just keep the light hearted tone around.

    I have the same feeling here about the appearance of new character in the form of doppelgänger of his SIL.... Gah, I already cannot stand there's this first love that' not settled yet, and now a new single girl scheming to win his heart.... argggh~~ #pullinghair

    Me. Same feelings too about the covering of WJ's death. Which is why I cried for him, even though he's been a trashy person. It's so ironic when we think back about what SW told WJ that two amazing women loved him, coz it's the very same two women who made him non-existent anymore in this world. There is nothing to admire about these two women. They're not brave courageous women but instead pathetic women. I could understand very well HJ's wanting to protect Lisa from any kind of emotional damage from what she did. Given her personality that's been shown so far, what she decided to do were consistent. I did ask myself if my daughter did something so gravely tragic, what would I have done? That's why I could cry for HJ. It was not an easy decision for her either way. I know no matter how painful that is, I would've told the truth and let my daughter deal and grow from whatever mistake she made. Supposedly, HJ's love for Lisa is so-so-so great that she finally is willing to give up everything so as to protect her. However, I have failed to see her great love for Lisa throughout the drama, except for the fact that she drew her a lot in her works, and supposedly artists draw people they love. At least that's what the drama's been telling us. What I find really unnecessary was the stabbing of HW while crossing the road. Gosh, that instantly reminded me of another old drama with such scene. If that was so that she could say her narration, I think there are other ways to show it, or does that narration even matter for the story? Then for them to not show what happened to her, except a banner of her solo exhibition, to me it's very lazy. Also what happened to SW? Did he keep on waiting for HW to show up at the airport? I just see no point in that stabbing because what she actually did was to rescue JY to a better life. Was it morally/ethically wrong to separate the daughter from the father? This will depend whose perspective we're looking from. I am happy for JY to have a meaningful purpose in life and found a new friend whose family welcome her as well. At the end of it, out of the 4 main characters, it seems that AHS is the mildest after all? Haha, I'm not sure about this too, what is he capable of actually, especially having the money and the power. And I am still wondering what did HW whisper into Lisa's ear? And what did HJ whisper into WJ's ear?? Makes me wonder if 16 episodes were not enough to tell the story? JK, JK.. we move on... haha...

    O gosh... I literally gasped, pulled up my legs and covered my mouth when it happened. Although having guessed who could have done it, the way it was shown still send me into big shock. And I cried too. Cried for WJ. Cried for HJ, cried for what she witnessed, what she had to go through, what she had to do. Cried for Lisa too. Although I want to say that HJ brought all this upon herself, I still can't help but cry for her. However, there are still stuff she did that I so disagree with. She is still being the shameless pretentious person. But, she actually did fulfil what she promised to HW, for the sake of Lisa. That I have to applaud her. In spoiler, what happened in the studio I appreciate and love that at the beginning of ep.16, we traced back a little and are shown what transpired between WJ and HJ before the attack. The build up was there leading to that climax scene we've been waiting for 15 episodes. SW is really such a good guy. His arc wrapped up well with his friend's mother. Same goes for HW's mother and the cafe pub owner. I teared up for both these arcs. Also teared up as HW was screaming out her final frustration. Didn't expect and didn't like what later happened to HW at the road crossing. And that nothing is accounted to the viewers except for a banner showing that she has her solo exhibit. It was a good finale although there are some loose ends for me. Or maybe they purposely leave it hanging? I am still undecided whether it was a satisfying ending for me. I really have to applaud HJ for giving up everything for the sake of her daughter though. Yet a part of me wonder if that is in vain or not because it seems no one appreciate it anyway, and Lisa remained a rude teenager still... Had to wonder also whyyyy didn't HJ give up a little bit, a little sooner. Then maybe she wouldn't have had to lose that much? That's it for now. I'm slacking with my oppa tracking because there are too many dramas and too little time Will try to catch up and update as much as I can, and join the event. @abs-oluteM @Tofu We need to write some kind of tribute for the amazing acting by KJY, so that people can be reminded it's only the acting!! Edit: I just browsed through the homework list, and it's hard work... Do I really have to do it? It requires thinking... My mind is going into resting mode towards the end of the year...

    I love this drama, but I am just glad it's finishing this week and I can go back to my proper bedtime for Wed-Thurs Been following the drama so closely that I always ended up going to bed waaay past midnight for Wed-Thurs these past several weeks

    You’re right about the ring! It must be HJ herself then, after changing out of the bloodied coat. So who would’ve walked in on them, since we see someone’s perspective approaching the room? Lisa? So HJ was covering for her? I am more inclined that another person hit WJ because from HJ’s position being pinned and chocked on the ground, it’s rather impossible to exert so much power that will make a person splatter blood.

    Love reading what you’ve written for the last 2 episodes @liddi You’re always able to discuss and sum up so many things eloquently. I forgot to mention too that I’m glad AMS did the right thing. Although I have to admit I am suspicious whether or not she compromised the actual damage to the brain or not... This show make me doubt everyone 😅 And yes, I too love that she spoke up to her mother. I detest her mother so. What made her think that failures with her two children will make her be successful in rearing her grandson to be a “better” person? 🤣 Who cleaned up the blood? I doubt it is AHS though, because then he would be helping to dispose of the body instead of JHJ dragging the suitcase by herself. The white blouse had rather big flowing cuffs, so could be a lady. Maybe AMS? JHJ’s BFF? Or, Lisa hit SWJ, AHS came to clean up and took care of her because JHJ insisted he stayed back? GHW was already inside the gate, looking at Lisa walking towards the studio. My guess is she stopped her. But would Lisa obey GHW and go back into the house? It’s good that we don’t have to wait a week for the answer. Else I will probably be unproductive, busy speculating the ending 😆
