  1. That was a nice gif you shared @Tofu I teared up at “Soon enough, the girl lost her love and curiosity for the world” That’s exactly the state she is in. And she knows it. So sad. I read elsewhere that the drama didn’t do justice to the background love story of WJ and HW, which makes her like an obsessive person to a man who doesn’t love her. In the novel, WJ adores HW, and HJ was jealous of their relationship because her marriage is devoid of the love and warmth she saw in WJ-HW’s relationship. That’s why HW felt that HJ took the only good thing she has when HJ already has so many good things in life.
  2. The cure is love? Or is it a kiss? A true love’s kiss? Why is our zombie apocalypse show becoming a Disney fairy tale? 😱
  3. @Tofu AHS might not be the scariest of them all. After ep.14, I think WJ is going to be scarier than him. His obsession on HJ is getting out of hand, IMO. Then there is HJ too, who decided not to reach out and pull up the abusive BIL, then who decided to have WJ forcing a kiss on her be recorded. Earlier in ep.13, she also framed HW which cost the latter her job. The race is tight among these three to be the evilest of them all. At least for HW, we see some redeeming qualities. She gave good advice to Ho Su (from storybook) as well as to LJY about not living in hatred like her. @liddi I had wanted to ship HW with SW instead, but he is the brother of HJ after all. Don’t see how this combination will do her any good. Very interesting that the title of ep.14 -Did Not Love Anyone- appeared at the very end of the episode instead. Can’t believe it’s the finale week already next week. Do you guys think Ahn Min Seo will save her abusive husband, or will she use the surgery as opportunity to do him in?
  4. I think they did. This part, I have mixed feeling... How much of it was to inspire people, and how much of it was to capitalise on the sympathies from around the world. I of course did not end up following up on the movie itself. Same feelings here. But that is why I pity her, because she knew the blunder of not preparing LDW better has cost the girl her precious life.
  5. This! Like HW, I expected a different reaction. But no, his obsession actually escalated unbelievably high, for a person who just "came back" to life. Exactly! Was it because he originally If I were to think positively of him, it was a crime of passion. To be fair, WJ did taunt him bad. He couldn't control himself and immediately regretted his action. Then he got WJ to the hospital, and been wondering what to do next?
  6. What got me confused is more of the wound taking such a looooong time to heal 😆 Be understanding okay... it’s his first gig. NGs are acceptable, especially when it makes everyone laughs, including us 😂
  7. You’re right about this. Gosh, I lost count how many times I feel like throwing things onto the screen while watching ep.13. Be back tomorrow with more thoughts. Need my sleep now as it’s been a long day for me. I want to say that for now, despite all the scheming things HW did, I will choose to defend her instead of HJ/WJ/HS. Whatever she did was more of reactions to what happened to her, whereas the others, they’re agents of their own sufferings. Disclaimer though, I am aware I might change my mind on HW later.
  8. It's a very big apartment complex with many towers. I am assuming the supermarket, being a public/common facility for all the residents, is located somewhere central within the complex, on ground floor, to be accessed by everyone easily. So the residents would have to walk out of their building to these facilities. Well, except the gym it seems. Maybe their building happen to be the place they place the gym facilities.
  9. Hmm... I was hoping Ji Woon's father will die of shock seeing his son kissing the King Now we wonder which stand he will take seeing his son in love with the King. Writer-nim seems to be writing out his redemption path, judging from the short talk he had with Guard Yoon at the small bridge. He claimed he had never made a choice before because he has never had choices to choose from. Maybe he will die protecting Ji Woon.
  10. Why does this show keep making me cry....? The happy reunion was so short and now they're back to being separated... a very real and more huge separation. Sigh... Earlier, Ji Woon was forced to be a tutor with people around him held hostage. Now, it's Dam-i's turn to be in a position she doesn't want to be, so as to protect her people. Having watched so many sagueks, I can never understand those power hungry old men. They have the patience to wait for a baby to grow and be their puppet king. That's like 15-20 years of waiting? How foolish is that? Like they can guarantee their lives will last so long to enjoy the power. By the time the little kid, or puppet, is of age, the old men can only enjoy the power for a few more years, given their age. I think of all sagueks I've watched so far, Dam-i's grandfather is the worst I've seen. I really cannot stand him. Can someone kill him already? Yes to the downfall of Evil Minister Han, and yes to Ga On being the key player, woohoo... we need more screen time of him.
  11. Everyone hush 🤫... don’t tell him. That way he will still freak out ugly at the sight of blood or zombies. 😱 like you @mademoiselle I need to send zombies too! What went wrong with the quiz? I didn’t even ever wanna watch NWBU. I thought about this... Personally, I would rather deal with zombies than C19. It seems easier to guard yourself from being infected by zombies than by C19, which we cannot see. And it’s kinda cool that we can walk around with a basebal bat (and helmet if you like) than having to wear masks, gloves and hazmat suits.
  12. Ep.7 definitely took a lot of unexpected turns. - K was frantic to see her aunt there and very much disturbed by her death. I guess she will think that KKY was the one who killed her? Well, I want to say to her that her aunt is precious to her, and those people she killed were also precious to other people. Sadly, instead of realising that, she would probably go berserk in her killings... - Who is this Director Yong actually? How influential is she? And yes, I really cannot believe that Je Hee actually allowed and watched the whole process of Go Dam being killed! Wouldn't that make her an accomplice to murder? - Santa is obsessed with KKY? What's with the pictures secretly taken? And then he put drugs in her drink? I will be so sad if he turns out to be against KKY... I've been liking his character and role in the team.
  13. This is what I look forward to. Their love story. In fact, I think the love story of his grandparents must be quite something too, for the King to break the rules/traditions and go see her one last time before burial.
  14. I don’t think it’s him too. Remember how he was upset and reminded YGT that the rangers are in neutral position, that they won’t help him persuade the villagers. Please none of our rangers members be the evil one. As for the lady, she wouldn’t have killed Kim Sol’s father and be praying for him too, would she? So I will go more with Yang Sun’s grandpa. I wonder too why the cable car plan was abandoned then. But we still have 6 episodes, more than plenty of time to tell us more stories behind the mysterious deaths in Jirisan.
  15. My same thoughts @liddi Also because I doubt he would leave his son alone like that. Voice 4 is good. And Beyond Evil is good too. Definitely try to watch them both when you can make the time. Btw, have you watched Nobody Knows? That’s a really good drama too that not many people were watching when it aired.
  16. History is not my forte. I will admit I am quite lost already with the politics. I will only watch for the leads interaction. I will be honest too, that I cannot relax while watching this drama. Somehow I am always so worried for Deok Im, especially now that Princess Hwa Wan has singled her out. This actress, I have never liked any role she played in dramas. On the other hand, I am so glad that Jang Hee Bin’s character is not the antagonist (?) or could I be wrong? She seems to be quite wise and kind so far. I think so too. It’s confirmed. Head Court Lady Jo is up to no good. Anyone knows why Deok Im is the only one who get to sleep in the same room as her teacher? And then one of Deok Im’s besties got picked up in a palanquin?? She is from a rich family?
  17. Just finished ep.3... A bit late because I mismanaged my watching time, haha... I had forgotten this drama is on the weekend. Too many dramas Ep.3 has a lot of politicking, which I didn't enjoy, but I really love how the secret identity is finally outed by the lake. It's funny how San tried to hide his face but DI saw what he looks like through the reflection on the water. Still trying to figure out who is the bad guys (against San) and the good guys. Especially Head Court Lady Jo. Is she the good guy or bad guy? She is behind the Left Minister Hong Jung Yeo? These two are bad buys? Then there is the youngest daughter of the King, Princess Hwa Wan. She is clearly also the bad guy? I love that the King is actually an affectionate person. He was kind towards Deok Im and he loves his grandson, just that he couldn't show it openly. Will try to finish ep.4 asap so that I can back read on this thread. Btw, OST post on first page is updated with the first OST released.
  18. I ask the same question... I don't see any woman near the family in the flashback, so my guess for now is the sister? She was probably not staying in the village in 1991. Agreeing on this point, and maybe they did secretly accept some money from YGT? This made me confused too. I think it couldn't have been the same person as the killings now. Probably YGT himself? Just coincidentally wearing the same black gloves?
  19. Dugun-dugun... goes YG’s heart 😄 The brain doesn’t remember but the heart does 😃 LOL, he even cannot bring himself to kiss his “bride-to-be”, but just the sight of DD sent his heart racing. I am having a good time seeing how Sara and Dae Ran tried to deceive YG, and yet somehow their plan always fail 😂 Well, except on getting AK kicked out of the house. But she has her own story arc to go through, so she needs to be out of the house and be closer proximity to the husband whom she left. And yes, Sara will definitely need a huge redemption arc because what she agreed to do with Dae Ran is just so low.
  20. I think you nailed it. We have a flashback to 1991. It was revealed in the latest episode as well that Capt. Jo has connection with him since he was a little boy. Jo must've felt indebted to him and has a desire to protect him. It's a revenge on a long time grudge. I'm just glad it's not one of our dedicated rangers. But, is the reveal too early? Haha, just yesterday I couldn't wait to find out and now I think it's too early... I really like the part where Capt.Jo was instructing the team how to get out of the Black Bridge Valley, and how the team supported one another to get the lady out.
  21. I did notice his finger knocking on the walkie. But I thought he is nervous because he feared for Da Won. She is his partner after all. And if he were the killer, he need not worry about the report from the rangers because he knew that DW is dead. Unless, he has an accomplice and he didn’t know the exact condition of DW yet. And maybe that’s why he knows for sure it wasn’t Capt.Jo and asked YG to cool it with the accusations, and for the police to postpone the investigation. He kinda feel bad? He must be covering for someone else?
  22. I can’t have the tteokbokki out there too. When I bought a packaged one, I will only put half or even one third of the sauce provided. Now they have different flavors in Jajang and Cheese Tteokbokki. I can choose to have those but I do like the red spicy sauce too, but just very very little is enough for me.
  23. I just realized I have 5 dramas for the Fri-Sat-Sun slots and all of them are not the ones I will ever want to drop
  24. That’s a great point. She is the one character mentioned that we haven’t seen yet. And being a ranger’s daughter, she should know the mountain well enough. However, I couldn’t understand her logic, how making the mountain a less safe, problematic place could make her father be less dedicated to the job. In fact, it will only make the father even less willing to leave because there are still work to do. But, Capt.Jo definitely has something to do with these strange things happening, just by his coincidental day-off’s. We just don’t know what and how yet.
  25. I personally though TS should have kept SB from the beginning and researched on her antibodies. Yes he did offer her to not be locked in but she chose to do so. The other person could be the 302 old lady who got scratched. It seems that she hasn’t developed any symptoms as well except for being tired. But that could be just old age? Whyyyy that basement zombie wasn’t there when 601 went to the Gym car to find the medicine?? @Dhakra I was about to comment the same about 1201 house. Only appearances. Their house is not even half as proper as YH-SB’s house. Wow, 1501 has his mask down. Wonder what SB is doing when he said she is busy. Probably fixing a certain survival gear he has? I’d like to think he is a good guy and not another problematic resident. The fact that he actually bother to come down and cast his vote shows that he does care? Argh... episode 6 ends like that and now we have to wait a week before finding out what happened.
