  1. It is weird for me that he knows Dam-i shoe size... I think at that time, they go by sight and lucky guess... LOL
  2. My guess is that he would be using the same way he did giving her the ring, he probably only said a wedding present for her, implying the shoes for the bride. Of course Dam-i having the pretty shoes in possession, would be tempted to try it out.
  3. Someone in mydramalist mentioned that the color red and green are complementary colors on the color wheel. That it's the basic that every design/art student will need to know.... Appreciate the production team using this kind of related detail to express the "opposite" and the "reflection" of our two main characters.
  4. I barely managed to hold back the tears. I kinda knew what was coming, ie. goodbye, so I was preparing myself for it already as I watched that last scene. Not gonna be caught off guard like last night 😆 Yes, it’s really sad all these one-sided love around them. Do you think they will drag until the very last part of the drama before Ji Woon finds out Dam’s true identity?
  5. I cried good when she was crying in the rain, but I managed to hold back my tears at the end when he handed his the resignation. He made a wise decision to leave the palace instead of having to run into her all the time even while at a different post.
  6. Did you notice the ripples of the tub water? Wait, it's not ripples anymore, more like waves...
  7. Towards the end of ep.9, we see a lot of the dice. 戀 - love, longing 期 - period, expect 休 - rest 停 - stop 戀 - love, longing 不 - no, not
  8. @abs-oluteM are you going to pick this one up too? Wow, I'll be watching 3 sageuks at the same time if I pick this one up too
  9. I paid attention because it's SSK speaking... and honestly, my heart sank a bit, haha... Anyway, I also think he wanted to confess his feelings to YG when they first met in the mountain. But changed it a bit or had to hold it in for the confession during that snowy night because it was all in the past and he was already married then.
  10. I did think about it. And no I wouldn’t keep searching for it for days until up the mountain top. Yes for the area near the cabin they rested at, but for a limited radius only, and I would’ve researched the wind direction, bodies of water, etc.etc, and armed myself with a map.... Okay, this is getting too complicated, haha... No, I wouldn’t. Searching the mountain is like trying to find a needle in a haystack (and this actually is easier, lol). If it left my hand somehow, it’s probably not meant to be mine. But you see, I wouldn’t be taking it out at a windy place in the first place. And I definitely wouldn’t scream out for people around me to find out and go searching as well. Lesson learned: Always put your lottery paper in a transparent mini plastic folder. Easy to check, waterproof and wind proof. Okay, I should stop here with my nonsense 😆
  11. Talking about the lottery girl, I wanted to comment but kept forgetting. It’s strange that she is still searching for that small piece of paper in the vast mountain. I mean, CMIIW, the lottery receipt is just a piece of thermal paper, isn’t it? What’s the chance of it surviving the elements out there after so many days...? 🤔🙄 I am overly careful person that I wouldn’t take out such important tiny piece of paper in open space, just as I wouldn’t be returning a ring to someone sitting on a wooden plank on top of a lake (from a recent drama). The chances of losing/dropping those things are extremely high 😆😅
  12. Do you guys think the King already knows the CP is a girl? That’s why he tried to delay the royal marriage? But the way he is being harsh on her made me think otherwise. Unless he only wants his other son to be his successor. Or he does detest CP because of the grandfather. The title of the drama suggests that Dam will eventually become King. So current King will die or abdicate his throne? I guess we will see the royal wedding happening after all. Sigh, my eyes swollen from crying last night. I must now be wary about the timing to watch this drama. It may not be as soon as it comes out at night before bed anymore.
  13. He became uncomfortable after K broadcast their last kill to the public and panicking to get rid of those story books. What he probably didn’t realize is that K did not see him as partner, but only her runner. Maybe he didn’t want to be found out, or she was getting too controlling? He seemed to have found a friend in that colleague. Are they hinting at some BL here? I think it was by luck that she discovered it. They purposely moved to the basement away from attention but she saw Santa coming out of the other lift leading to the basement. That’s why she came back out of the gate after successfully entering using her aunt’s card. O I enjoyed so much watching Santa ran after her, haha... How persistent he was! Way to go Santa! I was thinking of that, but then we were shown him with the person who put the drug into K’s hand. So I became unsure about his involvement.
  14. O gosh... I cried at the end of ep.9 and my tears wouldn’t stop even as I am typing now... Wrong reaction? But that’s truly how I feel for these two. How are they going to be together?? There are sooo many obstacles, and people, that they have to overcome. Good thing is that it seems Hyun will be in support of them. O gosh... we’re only at ep.9 of 20. What else will happen? The angst is coming and I can already imagine the tears I’m going to shed for these two. I appreciate we still get some laughs, like I literally was ROTFL when he discovered the special gift was also distributed to his colleagues, but will comic be still laced into the 2nd half of the story? And those dice shown are always telling us something... not positive messages... I will try to screenshot later when it’s become available outside of Netflix.
  15. I'm caught up... This drama is rather quirky. Had to get used to its style before one can truly enjoy it. It's harder because one won't usually associate Lee Young Ae with this genre and the eccentric character she takes on here. There are scenes that sent me scratching my head, nevertheless still made me feeling very tensed while watching for what will happen next. I guess it's because they made the villain K too scary? She is made to be too smart too resourceful? Like in the preview, she could overcome her sidekick and drag him by herself? In ep.4, supposedly she herself moved a passed out JH and KS into a box, into a container, onto a lake? I thought the actress for Yi Kyung aka K is really good portraying the character's seemingly innocent yet psychotic behaviour. The way she just smiled and laughed things off. The way she enjoyed and cheered seeing her murder scheme succeeded. I'm not even sure whether to categorise her as a psychopath or not. She seems to only kill people who "deserved" to be killed... So far it is an interesting watch. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, even those who like mystery thriller. Watching this makes me feel quite uneasy tbh, but I want to know what will happen to K, how Inspector Goo can outsmart her, so I guess I will keep watching? Haha...
  16. YG is so cute looking rather at loss and speechless when DD asked him if he likes her or not. Then later when he pretended to be drunk so as to avoid talking about it, but once again DD called him out on it. I love that the show make DD to be the one initiating the relationship instead of YG. The way they got together was rather quick, with DD declaring it's their first day. No nonsense and no time wasted I believe that somehow made it easier for some people to accept them dating, and can avoid the criticism that YG is taking advantage of a young lady. The wind helping seal the relationship is quite funny. I too appreciate that YG has his share of hesitation before deciding to go with the flow of the wind (LOL). How many times he went back and forth about wanting to tie the handkerchief, then changing his mind, but was thinking about it the whole day, haha... It felt good to see YG calling Dae Ran ahjumoni. She really overstepped her boundaries, considering she is not even the legal madam of the house. That YG is making the children respect her as grandma is already something significant. They're not blood related, right? Instead of knowing her limit, I find that she is being pompous about her status. Sara-ah, Sara..... Haven't you seen how much YG and the children love and adore DD? I actually laughed when she gave the ultimatum to YG to choose either her or DD to work for the family. She is quite delusional, I think. Agreeing with @stroppyse that it's much easier to find a new butler instead of a new tutor whom the kids love and can accept. Wasn't it agreed upon that Se Ryun will help with their finances as part of the marriage deal? I remember the guy talked about it with his mother as they walked up the stairs for their first meeting. I am sure DB will not allow the wedding to happen. If we do see a wedding, I think he will crash the wedding The actress of DD is really good in crying, and cries beautifully, but I hope that we see less of her crying for everything. Eg. when Dae Ran threw the cushion at her and screamed at her for hiding the fact she is related to Driver Park. I'd rather see a sad and hurt and worried DD instead of a teary DD.
  17. I love their house. The high slanted ceiling especially. Not a fan of the second floor though, where only a corridor and two doors to the bedrooms. Btw, this is the little boy that I said resembles the ML. You can skip to 3:00 time mark for more scenes of him
  18. 😃 I am quite the opposite then... I rather like this less intense episode because we get to see some of the backstory of Yi Kang becoming a ranger and her early days. Not to mention getting a cameo in the form of Son Seok Koo.
  19. Thanks for sharing! What a treat!! Is that Medusa? or Maleficent? or someone else? I can't tell... LSY looks great as Superman. But we're missing the red undies!
  20. I have enjoyed the drama a lot, although not having much to comment on before because it is quite a smooth watch for me... well, except for my only complain about the make-up team. More about that later... I love the finale because although we only have one hour, amazingly everything is accounted for very naturally. That's great writing for me. Yeon Ju is an awesome heroine for me because she is brave and smart, undeterred by obstacles, always having a way to handle problems she faced. I like that we get to see her being tough and feisty, but we also see her being soft and mellow. - I admit being upset seeing Noh "betraying" the team, but of course the story wouldn't have that happening. Ha! - One of my most fave parts about the finale is that my question about Seung Hye's assistant is answered. True to her vile nature, she "held hostage" the health of his sister as a way to make him her slave. Urgh! - Way to go for making public the "judgment" for Seung Hye. That's really the only way to bring down those "untouchables" people, although it is a double-edged sword that can be used to frame innocent people too. It feels good watching Seung Hye screamed in her big empty office. - Ex-gf anchorwoman was given a chance to have her own little revenge against Seung Hye too. Cheering... - I knew that we might see Seung Hye trying to commit suicide, and I thought that was too easy way out for her. But because the news of her suicide was so quickly done/gloss over, I also dared to guess that's not the end of it. Hilariously, Yeon Ju knew about Seung Hye faking it from the undies that she used to have to wash but once again, this woman is the vilest. Yet another person is sacrificed to be her "corpse", urgh! - Many have guessed that the death of the eldest son is also the doing of Seung Hye. The crazy woman has no problem killing even family members. This revelation is truly an awakening for the mother and she is then a transformed person, as noted by her other children and DIL, which btw, I love the community work they had to do, LOL, but they're still the same immature bunch. - A bit sad seeing the scene where Yu Jun saying goodbye to Yeon Ju... He is such a sweet hoobae and puppy. I hope we get to see more of Lee Won Geun in other dramas. His smile is just adorable - The ending with yet another doppelgänger of Yeon Ju is funny too... Season 2, anyone? LOL... Made me went to search what are the chances of one having a doppelgänger in RL and below is an entertaining link. https://www.boredpanda.com/doppelgangers-lookalikes-meet-in-real-life/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=organic Yes, I agree about this bit. They could've showed her shoving a pill into her mouth as she was running away. Someone with such fatal allergies should always carry medicine with them to help a bit before getting proper medical treatment. Same goes for the other actress too. I thought she captured Mi Na's demeanour well. My complain of course is back on the make-up team. Is it so difficult to make sure they have the same shade of lipstick and blush?? When before this, they were always able to make LSY wear the same shade of lipstick as Lee Honey, LOL... Clearly the make-up on these two ladies are done by different person, but can't they at least make sure they use the same lipstick?? And no, I won't accept the excuse of them having different skin tone. Or should I blame the lighting guys? LOL Love the little dance and singing by the cast and crew at the end Yay to a drama well done!
  21. Why not?? He has a gf, not a wife So them two better quickly go register! My opinion is the same as what @im0202 shared above.
  22. I think it’s good that she is trying different kind of roles as an actress. I was surprised too l, but she is doing well when she whines about the lack of attention from YG for her. I think her role will not be totally villainous considering that she is the birth mother of Se Jung. More like a “lost” person who will be redeemed later. The drama does show some bits and pieces of her feeling a tinge of regret and guilt about what’s happening.
  23. It was a great finale! I love that everything is wrapped up and addressed. Not rushed and not dragging. Done just right. Be back later with more thoughts as I need to quickly get ready and be somewhere else now.
