Synopsis
Wei Yingluo enters the royal court of Hong Li, Qianlong Emperor, to uncover the truth behind her sister’s tragic death. She suspects the imperial guard Fucha Fuheng and tries to get close to his sister, Empress Fucha Rongyin. Yingluo manages to transfer to Changchun Palace to work as a maid. There, Yingluo is mentored by the kind Rongyin, who teaches Yingluo to read and write, and she also falls in love with Fuheng. Through a series of events, Yingluo becomes the Emperor’s concubine, Consort Ling. Alongside other concubines like Consort Xian, can Yingluo put her personal agenda aside to serve the Emperor?

Just started binging on this drama.  Really I am surprised at myself of getting drawn into this drama.  YT is good at catching my attention.  Saw a future scene clip of King and Empress arguing about her brothers marriage plans.  Just had to find out what happened.  perfect timing since a lot of my current dramas off schedule due olympics and COVID-19.

 

first these women … wow… so much drama! 
Nobel Gao ain’t the only bad seed so am currently appalled as each woman’s true colors come out.  It’s also very frustrating.   
 

just finished Episode 19…. I have a long long way to go.
