6 Of Rowoon’s Top K-Dramas You Don’t Want To Miss

 

Rowoon, also known as Kim Seok Woo, is not your average K-pop idol-turned-actor. Aside from having made quite the career out of being an idol when he was active in SF9, he has starred in several K-dramas and has proven time and time again that he’s got natural abilities when it comes to acting. Here is a spotlight on some of his most notable roles.

1. “Extraordinary You

In “Extraordinary You,” Eun Dan Oh (Kim Hye Yoon), a high school student, discovers she’s a character in a comic book with a predetermined storyline. When she defies her fate and falls for Haru (Rowoon), a character she’s not meant to be with, they join forces with other characters to break free from the comic world’s constraints. This leads to a unique and heartwarming story of love, self-discovery, and rewriting their destinies.

“Tomorrow” is a K-drama based on the popular webtoon written by Ra Ma. Rowoon stars as Choi Joon Woong, a normal guy who is trying to find a job but is struggling to find one. One night, he meets Goo Ryun (Kim Hee Sun) and realizes that she is a grim reaper. She has a team of other grim reapers who save people from dying. Choi Joon Woong becomes a new member to this team.

Through this series, Rowoon was able to show more diverse sides to his acting. Viewers were able to see his sensitive side as well as a humorous side that many people didn’t know he was able to portray. His character growth and ability to connect with his co-stars brought a depth and genuineness to the series that made it so much more emotionally compelling. Rowoon’s exceptional performance in this series solidified his position as a rising star in the world of Korean dramas, leaving a lasting impact on both the story and its viewers.

3. “She Would Never Know”

“She Would Never Know” is based off a popular web novel. It involves the love story between two office workers who work for a cosmetics brand. Won Jin Ah plays Yoon Song Ah while Rowoon plays her junior coworker Chae Hyun Seung. Chae Hyun Seung falls in love at first sight with Song Ah, and the two engage in a passionate romance.
