Just finished the premiere episodes. Really liking it so far. I haven't watched many kdramas that involve time travelling so far, so I can't compare this to others. Right off the bat, we can tell that the production value is high. The landscape shots used when they showed YTY and YMH travelling from 2050 to 1992 was great. I was actually expecting some type of portal but I guess not. So far, they haven't shown exactly how the time travelling process itself works. Loved the car chase scenes as well. They didn't use shaky cam that much and the ample aerial/wide shots make the action and directions clear for the viewers. Because there are a few important time frames and a few characters and their ages to keep track of, I made a timeline for myself. The characters' ages are all taken from the SBS website for the drama. After putting all the information on the chart, I have some questions and predictions. - Is there someone trying to bring down 'Alice'? In Ep 1, the man dressed in black who tried to retrieve the Book first before Taeyi and Minhyuk is obviously not from 'Alice' since they didn't know each other. So who sent him? - Could the little girl with the last page of the Book be Yoon Taeyi in 2020? YTY is 32 in year 2020, which means she was 4 in 1992. Possible?? My own early guess for now:

Getting sadder the more I read about Chadwick Boseman... Being a huge Marvel fan, I got a shock when I saw the news this morning. I prayed it was another of those stupid hoax but then so many official news sources and his own twitter announced it and I knew it was real. This year has really sucked. It started off with the passing of Kobe Bryant which affected me a lot because I’m an avid basketball and Lakers fan and he was one of my role models especially when I used to play the sport in school. Sorry for ranting a bit, just feeling a little down and watching older interviews of Chadwick Boseman just made me sadder (But on a lighter note, I’m loving all the adorable Pokemon emojis! Thank you admins for adding them)

Will be starting Ep 1 tonight! Been trying to avoid spoilers on twitter and IG. I’ll post my thoughts maybe tomorrow hehe. In the meantime, this is Joowon’s Bot-terview:

Thoughts after watching Ep 9: The opening scene moved me, to see how much Hyunsoo and Jiwon were in love, and how HS spoke so tenderly to Eunha who was still not yet born that time. The whole break-up scene broke me. Both LJK and MCW acted so well, especially the former. I hate to see this angst because obviously they still love each other. It’s not going to be an easy fix. The ‘emergency’ meeting when both Haesoo and Moojin were so concerned for Hyunsoo and it turned out to be relationship problem... Lol. So on the contrary to what Hyunsoo told his sister about never loving Jiwon before, here she finds out that he does indeed love his wife. Just need for him to realise this himself. And we get to the ending scene. Wow. When Jiwon finally decides to trust Hyunsoo (cue flashbacks again to the opening scene of the episode when it’s revealed that all he ever wanted from her was her trust in him), but his one-word answers were all lies, although she trusts him and gives him an hour to settle things. Fortunately, Jiwon is a smart cookie. This was such a good episode (although not a lot of development in terms of the detective work side of things as well as Baek Heesung). I’m guessing this will come in Ep 10. I’ll back-read all the posts I’ve skipped to avoid spoilers after watching the next ep!

@SilverMoonTea this oppa/ahjussi quite lonely we need to recruit more fans I rewatched The Classic today. Because many years ago when I watched it I only knew Son Yejin and Jo Insung lol. I didn’t bother to find out who the male lead is. Regret

Haha yeah I know sleep is the best cure... But I do have problems falling asleep almost every night so I’ve had dark circles for many many years (since primary school lol). And it also doesn’t help that I’m an extremely light sleeper and love drinks with caffeine

Wahaha, I actually haven’t boarded this ship yet since the drama hasn’t started... But piano and violin always go together, so it will be very easy for me to get on board, the two of them just need passable chemistry and I’m in! Haha.

On PC, it's so hard to click on the 'Haha' reaction because the emoji is so far down the left and when I drag my mouse over I sometimes can't keep a straight line and the bar disappears so I have to mouse over the reaction button again... Am I the only one with this problem? (I don't have a mousepad btw maybe that's why) I end up using the touchpad because it's easier to move in a straight line. Or I just click 'like' if I keep failing with the mouse lol.

Yes! I finished S1 in less than a week after getting stuck on Ep 3 for like a year lol. I'm a shipper like @SilverMoonTea of SM and YJ, but I won't be too opposed to them staying platonic as well, since this is not that kind of drama. But I just want more interaction between them and want them working together. Right now they are split into their respective divisions and there's less of detective work and I can't say I'm enjoying it as much as S1.

Thoughts after watching Ep 4: 1) Still no to little scenes of Simok and Yeojin... It is a !!! 2) Seo Dong Jae is such a hoot almost all of his scenes make me laugh. *digs through trash - "I'm a highly-skilled worker" LOL 3) I enjoyed all the expressions Simok had on his face during the debate/talk between the police and the prosecutors. JSW is so good at all these micro-expressions. 4) I wonder how the two sides are going to come to a resolution because right now, no one is refusing to budge. 5) Hope the cases will come to the forefront a little more because too much talk bores me. I need more detective work and main character interactions (i.e. SM and YJ) to keep me engrossed. 6) Also, to be honest, I was a little lost regarding the Hanjo storyline in S1 and now that they are still in S2, I continue being lost lol. I sure hope so!! As each episode passes I get increasingly worried as there's no sign of improvement lol. Hey isn't that a drama title..? 'Suspicious Housekeeper'... hahaha

Hi everyone, you can call me Alice, or just refer to me by my username. I'm from SEA, more specifically Singapore. No photos attached as my fellow SG friends have already shared some above.😆 A little bit about myself: I'm an avid watcher of movies, tv shows,dramas and sports (mainly basketball and football, as my dad is). I listen to many genres of music and I love travelling and learning about different cultures. I'm currently working in the education industry and will probably continue to do so as I enjoy it. I used to not be so active on forums and such, but after getting to know more of you, I try to visit the forums at least once a day to chat and discuss about dramas and stuff. It's been really fun and a life-saver as almost none of my friends in real life watch the same series/dramas as I do, and even if they do, they are just casual watchers. I'm the sort to get more invested in the show, so having a platform for discussion is really great.
