  1. Kim Soo Hyun Meets Cha Seung Won For 1st Time Behind Bars In New Drama “One Ordinary Day” Coupang Play’s upcoming drama “One Ordinary Day” has shared a sneak peek of Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won’s first meeting! A remake of BBC’s “Criminal Justice,” “One Ordinary Day” will star Kim Soo Hyun as Kim Hyun Soo, an ordinary college student whose life is turned upside down when he suddenly becomes the prime suspect in a murder case. Cha Seung Won will star as Shin Joong Han, a third-rate lawyer who barely passed the bar exam and is the only person who reaches out to help Kim Hyun Soo—while never asking him about the truth of what happened that fateful night. The newly released stills capture the tense first encounter between the terrified Kim Hyun Soo and Shin Joong Han. Locked up in a holding cell, Kim Hyun Soo is visibly paralyzed by fear as he struggles to adapt to his new surroundings and this unexpected situation. In contrast, Shin Joong Han seems right at home as he waltzes into the holding cell looking for a new client. Although Shin Joong Han has arrived to save Kim Hyun Soo from his predicament, the cold look in his eyes as he sizes up the young student suggests that there is nothing noble about his intentions. The producers of “One Ordinary Day” remarked, “Through even the smallest movements or simply the look in their eyes, Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won are able to clearly convey the polar opposite personalities of their characters. ‘One Ordinary Day’ is a drama that will shine a light on their solid acting skills.” They added, “Please be sure to tune in to ‘One Ordinary Day’ to see the passionate performances of these two actors, who have no limit to their talent.” “One Ordinary Day” will premiere on November 27. Check out the latest teaser for the drama here! source
  2. I was on obsessive level with Duel at the time I like it more when they focus on saving the patients and the story extended out from it rather than the politics. The politics for S2 is more like a rehash of S1. I really wish all the main originals would return, I don't mind if it's just a few episodes of cameo... but would be nice that most return as permanent for S3.
  3. #me when I go hiking #me when I do any physical activity source
  4. @Chocolate You might wanna check out OCN's Chimera. Seems like you type - crime & mystery. I enjoyed the first episode. It's engaging and the near end was quite thrilling.
  5. Hurray! You finally checked this out! Prison Playbook is black comedy. I kinda don't think it's slice of life... coz I think much worse happens in the prison in reality and this drama seems a little too cheery and comedic. Who's your favourite? I love Lee Kyung Hyung's Haerongie. Je Hyuk of course I like too.
  6. @Tofu!! Which mean Sejong is probably out too. This guy is so quiet so there's no news at all.
  7. LOL if you count KMJ and PSJ then yes we have some more common Oppa 😆 but your adopted Oppa this year we don't have. Yes watch Duel. Sejong's best performance is from this drama!
  8. @ktcjdrama The actress playing Sae Yi mentioned in her farewell video that she'll be back in S2 for a bit, so I also expect Woong to appear (even if just cameo) since in the webtoon, after Woong became successful, he wanted to reconcile with Yumi. I reckon they just want to keep it a secret of Yumi's last man. Hahaha. I don't know it just feels that way! Bobby is still not fully delve into yet which I think the show is keeping it til S2. Bobby's Prime cell is Detective cell so it means he's a more observant style so would say/do things more cautiously than Woong. I think we're accustomed to Woong being the male lead and wanted Yumi to end with him. However since this is a seasonal dramas, it falls outside of the traditional convention of kdramas. Like you, I was totally OK too if Woong is the end game, LOL. He has his flaws but he's not a bad person to be with, so I totally get why Yumi's cells are all so upset :(
  9. It was a part of the degustation course so I've no idea. Oh yay, we finally have common Oppa deul Their bromance was much more compelling than Hwi's loveline @Tofu have you watched Sejong in Duel?
  10. @Tofu Are these two Oppa? 😆 They'll be back next year. Sejong should finish MS in Nov (he's so quiet!). Do Hwan, I think Jan 2022.
  11. OMG, hahahaha I clicked into this and LOL! That's how he got his eyes back?!! So anticlimatic. He could have done that so many times before!
  12. Dang I was hoping Woong would ask to get back together with Yumi. I thought Yumi became his first position and him getting the offer of opportunity means he has changed his mind. I was bawling my eyes out in that breaking up scene of Love cell vs Pride cell. The inner struggle inside Yumi was, I think, very relatable and well presented. Gosh. How will this play out now in S2? Will Park Jin Young now be elevated to male lead or the male lead remain as Woong? I was ready for Woong to be the end game for Yumi in the drama version but I honestly also don't mind Bobby too (if the show doesn't follow the webtoon Bobby version). Curious... can a person's Prime cell change? Forgot to say I thought the bit of Yumi's Stomach Cells partitioning her stomach to be able to fill in main course, desserts round 1 and round 2 so funny and cute xD
  13. @ktcjdrama @40somethingahjumma I think both of you made a fair observation / interpretation of Jang Tae Jin's character and motive. However the difference in opinions is where the issue is. There's lack of clarity of his convictions and/or actions towards Dali and we are left here trying to Sherlock Holmes his behaviours. This boils down to the show not telling his side of the story to the audiences well. Not all kdramas develop their characters well, I get that. However for this one, I wish to better understand Jang Tae Jin. I also think the show owes it to Kwon Yul as an actor 😅 Kim Min Jae's IG Story He sang the drama OST - Moon Crater
  14. I haven't seen it yet. NF has 3 episodes out. If there is more to come I would like to wait. I looks like a disaster + political drama. That said, I haven't even checked out the preview trailer 😅. I just saw Oguri and reminded of you so I asked. Hahaha.
  15. Posting this for Kim Min Jae's acting You know I always listened to Mom, right? Mom asked me not to hate you. That’s why I tried so hard not to hate you. But, it was unbelievably difficult. No matter how much I thought about it, and pondered it, I found it unbelievably difficult. Was he possessed by something? What drove him this crazy? How could he do this? What made him leave his dying wife and ignore his baby son in her arms?
  16. Nigel introduced it as laksa. So it has to be curry laksa that it will be soupy? LOL, Tea is not describing it very accurately xD Male lead has the ability to "see" snippet of images of someone in trouble on Jirisan. This one not sure yet (we need episode 3) but there may be an out of body experience happening and he's been sending signals (of the forms of rocks, leaves & twigs that old tribes used for communication when modern technology failed) to communicate with female lead. Seems interesting. Feels like it was a COVID inspired drama and might explore the ugly sides of human nature. Will know more when it aired. I'm trying not to read too much spoilers.
  17. @abs-oluteM Is that mean you'll keep your VIU account now? 😅
