  1. A cut from E7. I think ma boy received the wrong script for this episode
  2. By the way, read this from Wikiepedia (Chi version) that the drama originally based the characters on real Royal family. But because of Joseon Exorcist, it was changed. So the late king was Yi Bang Won (3rd king) and the current King was depicting Sejong The Great (4th king). Prince Joohyang (Yi Yu) supposedly really did become a King (King Sejo, the 7th). Yangmyeong was 3rd son of King Sejong, Anpyeong dae gun (Yi Yong) and never became King.
  3. Not sure. I purposely didn't go peek so that I wouldn't be disappointed should the novel is better written than the drama**. Who knows the drama's story-telling itself is already disappointing. **Last time I did that it was for Moonlight Drawn by Clouds and I liked the execution of the ending in the novel way better than the drama's adaptation. So naturally when I got to the ending of the show, I was like "Meh" while others were praising it to the moon and back.
  4. Oh yes! I forgot to mention but the whole time watching episode 15 I was thinking the same as you. How it really sucks to be Cheon Ki and Haram because they were just two innocent babies who did absolute nothing to deserve whatever they had to go through now, especially Haram. He was a healthy boy and his sight was stripped away from him at 10. The show then make him shoulder this vengeance, suffer by carrying Mawang in him (just because he has the energy of water) and now a murderer of his own father (so-to-speak). And don't tell me this is fate And where is Samshin and Ho Ryeong when they are needed? So so soooooo bad the story has become. Some things / people / deities just happened to be there when needed. This show is based on a novel, how can one stuffed it up so much? Man, don't get me started on Hwacha... HAHAHAHA How can Cheon Ki be divine then if she needed Hwacha to work her divinity. What a load of BS, man. *so close to swearing just thinking about the "logic" of this story But oh @abs-oluteM Ahn Hyeo Seop cried beautifully at first when the King told him he killed his father
  5. He wasn't heartless. You can see he was heartbroken but he is also the King. Joohyang has committed crime and was plotting treason so he has to be punished no matter what. Joohyang was also not showing a slightest remorse in his actions. Agreed Kim Yoo Jung's acting was better in this drama than I've seen in Moonlight Drawn By Clouds. LOL. You said it like the vessel isn't the painting again. I'm just surprised they are still painting the King's potrait and not Haram's potrait.
  6. @Chocolate @abs-oluteM You guys don't just laugh! Say something about this crack! @NiteWalker Are you still watching?

  8. Episode 5 I don't know where/how Ji Woon get all that courage to talk back at a Crown Prince all the time Everyone is scared sh*t of Hwi except Ji Woon. In episode 5, countless times I catch him arguing back. If he can't win, he would make this face: And LOL at him starting to swoon at Hwi. I thought the timing when he began to stare (right after the bickering) was a bit random... but nonetheless, it was expected. There were a lot of funny moments for me, all from Rowoon-related scenes. Other than the bickering, I laughed at him hitting his own head to tell himself to snap out of it. Obviously episode 6 pre-release preview was even funnier. As I've already mentioned before, I'm super glad Lee Hyun already knew Dam-i's identity and has been protective of her since. So sweet. I was super impressed he beats up Hwi's uncle outside the palace. The action / sword-swining scene there was pretty well done in my opinion. The actor playing the uncle is really good and convincing being a sleazebag. Although the actor without all those facial hairs is also not bad looking. What surprises me in this episode is how powerful Hwi's grandfather is that he even dares to hit a Royal family. To bring him down is not going to be easy. I don't think I've seen a sageuk which I find it was done it in a very satisfying way when justice was served, so this would be one of the bit of the stories I'm concerned of since I really want this drama to do well through to the end. Kim Ga On, still can't figure him out but so pretty to look at! Hahaha! I'd love it if the story explore his backstory more. Right now I think I wouldn't mind backstory on all the 3 guys. Not so much into the two other supporting ladies, bwahahaha. Now that I think about it, it seems so early in the show that Ji Woon is already falling for Hwi. From the preview/spoiler photos, we know Hwi will be married to a Crown Princess and then she'll be King...
  9. Episode 15 What a twist... lol. In the end it was Haram who was possessed by Mawang and killed his own father. Not that this is not believable but it was a tale coming from the mouth of the King that, in Haram's perspective, should not be so easily believed. After all it was all his life's conviction that it was the King who killed his father but Haram was so quick to believe it! It's the flaw in the story-telling. If the story had told us, after working with the King and knowing him throughout the years Haram learnt that this King he served is benevelont and he was struggling internally to persuade himself this King (or late King) caused misfortune to his family, it would have been more convincing. And then another twist! The old man in the stone cell is (was? he's dead?) Haram's grandfather. WTF? So random? Why was he locked up? Nothing was explained here! Plus what did he do to save the King? Gives his energy to save the King so he died. Was this on last episode and I just happened to "not pay attention" at the time... xD And the ring? Now we've to break the ring? I thought the ring protected them all these times? ? So many things are so random, including Hwacha. He just comes and goes without any explanation of his existence, really...
  10. 2021.10.26 Rowoon & Park eun Bin's IG Update Waaa my boy is actively promoting the drama too. And both Eun Bin and Rowoon update IG at the same time. Hehehe (as if that means anything 😅🤣).
  11. We have a premiere date! It'll air after Jirisan on December 18!
  12. Kim Min Jae And Park Gyu Young Are Head Over Heels For Each Other In “Dali And Cocky Prince” Get ready for sweet moments between Kim Min Jae and Park Gyu Young in “Dali and Cocky Prince”! The romantic comedy stars Kim Min Jae as Jin Mu Hak, a man who lacks schooling and book smarts but is extremely resourceful and talented at making a living, and Park Gyu Young as Kim Dal Li, a woman who is intellectually polished and comes from an elite background but doesn’t know how to take care of herself. Spoilers While Jin Mu Hak can be a bit ignorant and rude, he’s incredibly resourceful in terms of business and is more realistic than others. After he falls for Kim Dal Li at first sight, he transforms from someone who only used to care about money into someone who truly recognizes and supports Kim Dal Li’s true self. He always tries his best to help her successfully run an art museum as the curator. Previously, Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li confirmed each other’s feelings through a passionate kiss. When she apologized on Jang Tae Jin’s (Kwon Yool‘s) behalf, he said harsh things to her that he didn’t mean. Kim Dal Li grew furious and slapped Jin Mu Hak, who grabbed her wrist and warned her to stop before he makes a mistake. When she attempted to hit him again, he pulled her in for a deep kiss. Concerning this scene, Kim Min Jae shared that his line “Stop it. If you don’t, I might not be able to control myself” was really memorable. He remarked, “The viewers told [Jin Mu Hak] to go out of control a lot. I think that’s how much they liked that scene.” In the new stills, Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li gaze at each other with doting eyes in the curator’s office of Cheongsong Art Gallery, and they even exchange a warm embrace. More photos show the two getting closer without any hesitation, piquing interest about how their romance will unfold in the upcoming episodes. The drama’s producers shared, “Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li, who confirmed each other’s feelings, will show the sweetest moments in episodes 11 and 12 that will air this week, so please look forward to it.” “Dali and Cocky Prince” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 p.m. KST. source
  13. Yes! It's this BTS clip. My favourite. Totally wish I could pull a Tom Hanks like the movie BIG so Rowoon could carry me like that I get lazy too... after one hour of fiddling with 1 GIF. I'm just like, awww man, do I've to put a watermark? LOLLL
  14. 2021.10.26 Episode 6 New Stills KBS 2TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama revealed new stills ahead of the upcoming episode! Based on the manhwa (Korean comic) of the same name, “The King’s Affection” tells the story of a pair of royal twins, one male and one female. Although the sister is initially abandoned for being female, she later disguises herself as a man to become the crown prince when her brother dies. Park Eun Bin stars as Lee Hwi, the crown prince with a shocking secret, while SF9’s Rowoon stars as Jung Ji Woon, who is Lee Hwi’s teacher. Spoilers At the end of episode 5, Lee Hwi and Jung Ji Woon shared an unexpected embrace when he attempted to save her from a falling vase. The two were shocked by their close proximity, but they couldn’t deny how fast their hearts beat. The newly released stills feature Lee Hwi and Jung Ji Woon separated by a thick wall of awkwardness. Lee Hwi, who confidently appeared for a royal lecture, urgently rushes away, and Jung Ji Woon, who watches her with mesmerized eyes, cups his cheeks with a dazed expression as he can’t control the flood of emotions heating up his heart. Yang Moon Soo (Kim In Kwon) and Choi Man Dal (Kim Min Seok) look confused by their reactions, hinting the odd atmosphere at the sigangwon (a government office that is responsible for the education of the taxpayers). In the preview for the next episode, Jung Ji Woon spots a familiar book that makes him recall Lee Dam Yi and asks Lee Hwi why she has it. She carefully says, “She must have been very special to you,” and he doesn’t hesitate to declare, “She was my first love.” With their romance heating up, viewers are excited to see what will happen as he gets closer to finding out her true identity. The drama’s producers teased, “If there was unyielding quarrels of the ‘Hwi-Woon’ couple in the previous episodes, today’s broadcast is expected to create more excitement and laughter with the way they extremely care for each other and their conscious behavior of one another. Please look forward to the acting of Park Eun Bin and Rowoon, who perfectly expressed this unfamiliar excitement.” source Episode 6 of “The King’s Affection” will air on October 26 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
  15. Hahahaha you are totally killing me with those GIFs. I LUV IT! Will have to save it to my stash later. You make them right? Rowoon is lead in She Would Never Know too and is just as sweet in there. And this is not bias talking. @abs-oluteM can attest to it.
