  1. Hahaha now that you mention it, I feel like I have seen it before, but I didn't pay attention then...but now that I've watched him in sooo many things I'm starting to be a bit charmed by him and so I do notice when he does Kpop girl group dance routines Awwww, Nam Goong Min is actually one of my Ahjussi Oppas - I'm very charmed by his deadpan humour . I once saw an interview or reality show episode with them both and it was very cute. It seemed like they had a very stable relationship. Yeah most of my Oppa crushes end when they change their hairstyles and I don't like the new styles Hahaha oh I definitely cringed especially because you know how I feel about LMH. BUT I forget how much I love bad LJW until I see him again Hahaha, and the red card was funny On an unrelated note: I'm actually really looking forward to this film coming out with sometimes Oppa Yeo Jin Goo. Haha, I think he is also @SilverMoonTea's sometimes Oppa too (when he's not topless and wearing an apron and acting like Absolute Boyfriend ) ...also it's Cho Yi Hyun and Kim Hye Yoon This picture of KTO really gets me @abs-oluteM...haha, I think I'm on the road to recovery from KTO fever, but my twitter feed does suck me back in as you can see below
  2. I saw those pictures and thought, Damn, I love how their chemistry is flaming. (Even though she's actually got a bf ) Maybe I just like that they do all the obvious main lead activities that do not cause fans anxiety like other couples *cough Taebin cough* Allure also finally subbed their magazine interview video
  3. Haha, I don't know what they were saying either. I only saw the short teaser not the longer one (sine I'm too lazy to do all the steps to become an elite member). Which version did you see? Yeah, they did look very still, but I'm also going to say that once again, I feel like they haven't cut the best parts for a teaser. I mean, they both looked very happy together in KTO's instagram of them, right? Fair enough! It's a lot to spend on drama merch! Yeah, I've never gotten a drama bluray before so no idea what to expect. And my Korean is sub-par (usually I get someone to double check my subbing work so that it's accurate), but I'll totally fine comb for crumbs and let you know what I find, though I'm sure some other fans will definitely beat me to it! No worries @Kismet_06200904 I've been busy lately as well! If you want to order the bluray you can do it in English here: https://global.yes24.com/Goods/110688839 If you want to see the notices and updates for the DVD as it's being made, you'll need to create a Kakaotalk account and log into the WYW Bluray fancafe here: https://cafe.daum.net/wooyoungwoobd. I did it by finding the option to 'translate to English' so I could follow the instructions to log in. Hope that helps! Also yes! I totally saw those matching baseball shirts! The PEB picture is from when she was in Operation Proposal. It's such a coincidence that they picked the same number right? This one is cute too: These parts of the behind the scenes were also cute:
  4. This is also one of the cutest behind the scenes I've seen in a loooong time
  5. Episodes 10-12 This was honestly one of my favourite rom-coms for this year. And one that actually fit the genre of rom-com with it's great pacing, light-and-easy-to-resolve ending instead of having a really dramatic, break-up-forever type, anixety-inducing ending! Even when the episode had moments where other people tried to come between the main couple (Ji Yul's ex girlfriend and Sang Hyeon) those scenes had good pacing and didn't drag on for too long. Even though I didn't like the second leads very much, I liked that they were not bad people. I was actually really touched by the conversation Ji Yul and his ex had in that it seemed like a mature way to handle a true breakup. He was respectful of her feelings, but also really drew boundaries and was hoenst with his. And even though she was annoying, I liked that she respected him and also was not that mean to his new girlfriend. I liked how all the high romantic tension scenes were done by putting the 2 main leads in very claustophobic tight spaces filled with peaches. That first time in episode 9 when they were talking about liking someone who made you feel excited vs. liking someone who made you feel comfortable. And then the scene in episode 10 where he finally confessed and then protected her from falling peaches. There was something very heart fluttery about these scenes And then after they got together, all the scenes were SUPER cute. I liked how they did things like go on a night date to Seoul and how he came to her workplace with the lamest lie just so he could hang out with her. And I can totally see why the ex girlfriend wanted him back. I thought it was very cute when Ja Young said she felts like she was the only one nervous when he was close, and then he was very vulnerable with her too and said that he'd never gone to a girlfriend's workplace just because he liked her...it's shame about the kids interrupting because that could have been a good kiss Haha, The kids were so cute because they were also dating and knew that you can't let the aunties know or they'll never let you live through it But there was a fair amount of affection and really adorable chemistry between Ja Young and Ji Yul and that candy kiss made up for it As for last episode angst, I feel like every rom-com that wants to go dwon this route should take note from this drama - you can have some angst in the last episode like seperation, but please just make it make sense and resolved quickly. I liked how this drama showed them having difficulties adjusting to long-distance relationships...and having misunderstandings...but it also showed them taking advice from friends and changing their behaviours quickly. No noble idiocy, no tantrums etc. I thought Ji Yul's vet friend, though silly, was actually a great source of advice - he should change careers from vet to love doctor Anyway, was glad of the super sweet, super happy ending which even involved a permanent move to the countryside and a ring. That's the nice thing about this drama - super lovely romance, but not overly sappy. Just sweet and refreshing enough like a peach I totally agree - the pacing for this story was so well done. And this drama was my happy place for the last few weeks! I'll miss it now that its ended! Haha, I have you to thank for watching it! This really hit all the right spots for a rom-com. I felt like it was suprisingly unknown or underrated in a lot of ways, which is a shame since the storyline is what I feel a lot of people really want from a rom com! Also the characters have a lovely romance, but the actors also have really great BTS chemistry especially the leads! I'm joining you both in adopting him! Yep, Peach Farmer boy turned out to be a nice second lead in that he valued the friendship a lot and was super respectful to her. If only all guys (and all people) who got rejected could be this graceful about it if they still wanted that person in their lives! Yeah, it was good advice in terms of sharing all the good and bad things - from the successful LDR I've seen work out, you need to share everything, even what your dinner looks like and when you're going to sleep
  6. @buguz and @taebinfan Did you guys end up buying the DVD? They released a teaser today of the DVD commentary and it's cute to see how the recording of the commentary went - PEB laughing at KTO's jokes
  7. Sorry for not being active this week! I've also been busy at work and with friends, This video is so good @innrukia - I think there's so many beautiful moments between PEB and KTO that show that these 2 were so close during filming. I think they were both more subtle, but in a way that seemed genuine and warm - also their characters didn't really allow for that type of showy interaction so they were being very real rather than putting on a show! Yes, please share your observations - I'd love to hear them But also no pressure if you're busy! I also thought I'd share that I finally finished the Episode 1 commentary in hardsub. (I only subbed the PEB x KTO scenes and cute interactions)..I haven't started episode 2 commentary though. My subs are also a bit different from the first person who subbed them, so might be worth checking out Also ccing @Kismet_06200904 if you're still interested!
  8. Haha have you seen this Wi Ha Joon @Tofu? I have not adopted im yet btw
  9. Hahaha Rowoon is quite generous to Lee Jae wook. Good to know my favourite is being fed well
  10. Hahaha this is fot the Singaporeans in this thread: I forgot to say how much I appreciated your analysis on whether it was realistic to have restaurants in the area selling Kaya toast I'm not sure if you guys have experienced this, but Koreans really like Kaya toast in my experiences?! I once when to a cool quirky cafe in the countryside about 2 hours outside of Seoul and they served Kaya toast with cheese! It was strange! But also I've been asked about Kaya a lot whenever I mention Malaysia. Well said! I do think they're chasing this elusive lifestyle which will always make them feel poor
  11. Chae Jong Hyeop shooting for this drama. He looks like a CEO alright!
  12. Episodes 7-8 This series has some really great and super dramatic plot twists! And even though sometimes you can kind of see it happening (ie. it seemed suss that Won Sang A would have things going on in Singapore as well), you still don't see the whole picture till the reveal.) And I think it's doing a good job at psychological thriller coz you just don't know who to trust or if In Joo is even in her right mind or hallucinating. I have to say I kind of can't blame In Joo for not trusting Choi do il (if that is really what happened) because it was so uncanny that the things in the note came true - like the issue occuring. Butttt...it could be that they both teamed up to fool that scary woman I don't know who I find scarier - Won Sang A or her husband. But they sure deserve each other since they're both pretty psychotic and selfish. I just feel sorry for Hyo Rin (if there's no plot twist about her being evil too ) Maybe it's good that In Hye is obsessed with their family so Hyo Rin has a friend. But also, is anyone stressed whenever Park Jae Sang has a private conversation with In Hye? I feel like she could have been killed multiple times already like when they were at the top of the building!!! Some other thoughts about the sisters, especially In Hye and the idea of wealth- In a weird way, I kind of view this whole family as being overly obsessed with money because even though they are definitely not well off, I feel like they're still better off than a lot of people? They at least have a home (or can pay rent), afford education, clothes and food for 3 children to get up to adulthood. A lot of people in the world are homeless or poor to the point they can't eat for days on end. And that would really make you do anything for money. But with this family, I don't know if I can whholeheartedly agree with their intentions for wealth-chasing- It's true they had that incident in childhood and not being able to afford healthcare would traumatise you and make you feel insecure. But the obsession with money isn't really about necessities and making sure everyone is safe and provided for- like In Joo thinks about spending it on luxury items as well and In Hye wants to study aboard at some fancy school and that's what makes them feel poor? Their attitudes towards money are not just about security, but seem to be a somewhat toxic obsession...because there's a place where you can be not poor and not rich, but comfortable...however, it feels like they want to be the 1% type of rich???
  13. Hahaha yeah it's always about finding balance with romance. Can't live with it can't live without it! I feel like everyone is going to be a killer by the end of this series either as a villain or in sel defence! Not sure if I'm liking those weird stripes But in the book, Teddy and Jo barely had any romance, so not surprised that this drama is just him wistfully following her around while she ignores his feelings! In Hye has a very souless look in this series! I'm surprised because she looked kinda typical kiddy teen and derpy when she was the lead in All of Us are Dead I think it's still a certain type of personality - like some people grow up in the same environment and it makes them even more mpathetic to the poor. But In Hye seems more hungry, which is another type of personality Still she's not so bad having just watched eps 7-8 Agreed! It seems Koreans are unable to escape the truck of doom in any country HAHAHA ME!!! I was like, "Hello?!?! That drink is the same colour as the blue orchid?!?!"
  14. These guys have a photoshoot for next mnoth apparently!
  15. A very quick sub I did of the EAW poster shoot. It's more just captions from the station, but I was curious what they meant and I'd never seen the poster shoot footage before I looked on their instagram. Wonder if there's a longer video somewhere out there. Also all these cut up pictures. Sigh:
  16. Hahaha the dark side I'll start this one tonight! I feel drawn because I do like legal dramas. But more than that I like cheap professional & con-artist type dramas (not that he's a con, but with cheap price tag feels like it is). This one even has one dollar in the title so it's a total bargain Also I've fallen too deep into the sugar pit with romances (which is not a bad thing, but you can just get stuck there!) and so I need a palette cleanser and this looks like a fun one I love NGM. I cannot wiith his deadpan-ness and humour
  17. I too enjoy this one-upping Where is the next round? Also = TL still filled with KTO...haha, I'm pretty sure a lot of that is me Though I'm so subtle compared to his hardcore stans. I thought I'd get over twitter posting about him when he left for the military, but now I'm just like a lonely military wife I've just resigned to the fact that it'll take me a loooong time to get over EAW just like all the other things I liked (DDSSLLS, Weightlifting Fary etc etc). Time to watch his older projects! Not many Oppas have caught my eye this year but my happy place at the moment is Once Upon a Small Town and that lead is cute. Maybe I'll adopt him on the weak eyecandy level
  18. Freshly subbed BTS video by the person whose been doing them on Youtube The ending also shows a few seconds more of what happens after the kiss with the ex, though I guess the new episode comes out tonight anyway!
  19. Final round of my Dream Taebin Photoshoot: Part 7 You're all free to save and use these edits. If possible to credit, please credit: These Dramatic Days (which is the name of all the things I do relating to my dramas - Youtube subbing, podcast, blog etc etc). You can see the matching photos (Part 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 & 6) on pg. 8 and 9 of this forum. Thanks for joining me for this game of matchy matchy since we never got a Taebin photoshoot. Hope this content has been somewhat comforting! Also don't you think these 2 would look good in a modern history period drama? Old World
  20. Oooh sounds interesting. I was thinking of giving it a go before since I figured I should try a drama that I wasn't expecting since this year has been kind of weird and I've been looking forward to a lot of dramas that are duds, whereas the dramas I picked up last minute, I loved. I also like the female lead. But no gurantees that I'll definitely watch since I'm only just catching up with the 2 dramas that I'm live watching
  21. Sharing these because I love it when someone subs behind the scenes (and I didn't have to do the hardwork )
  22. I totally agree. I think that he was really able to boost his career so much in just a short period of time! And he worked really really hard after the drama finished as well when not all actors would have done what he did before the army. I also agree with what you said about ENA and ASTORY - I think they really painted both actors in such a great professional light by showing how hard they worked in preparing for their roles. I do feel a few other factors come into play with behind the scenes like how tired they were when filming etc, but I also think that there was still little nice moments in the behind the scenes as well like PEB stroking KTO's hand which were still shown. Totally glad that he was getting offers for dramas and I hope that will continue when he gets back, especially if EAW season 2 doesn't actually happen. It's true about SKJ as well - I mean SKJ had 4 million subscribers on Instagram before, so you can see how big the difference was between him and his group mates. I don't mind him as an actor, but I much prefer Kang Tae Oh because he's much more expressive on screen and personable off screen. I don't personally relate so much to SKJ. Thanks for sharing! This is so cool. Makes me wish I lived in those countries, though there's probably a huge fight for tickets! Me too! I miss Taebin. And it's of course getting increasingly quieter in the fandom since there will be less news now YES! Meeeee! Have you purchased a copy? It comes out in Jan 2023 so there will be more Taebin content then OMG you found the video! I did see some of those links come up on too. @Kismet_06200904 might want to see this if they haven't found it yet already, I was actually halfway on hardsubbing it myself (since I like to know exactly what all the captions are saying and I like my subs to look pretty), but it was taking a long time coz I'm not fluent in Korean. And I was only going to do the scenes with KTO and PEB.This is an example of my type of subbing But I think I might still continue and release it because I think they might have pieced the footage together and missed some parts or just move the footage around. In any case I always like to have my own copy online coz I never know when people will take down their videos! Anyway I'll share here once I've finished as well!
